Pollys is a cute little restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was good. We started with the onion rings which were delicious. I had the Mega Grilled cheese and my husband had the Prime Rib French Dip. For dessert we tried the Olallieberry pie a la mode, it was so fresh and delicious. The food was great, but our server Raul was amazing, he went above and beyond.

Its a very nice quaint chain restaurant nestled in Norco. Easy to see from the freeway but hard to see from the street. Very clean and spotless. Basic food service and a good variety of pies. Employees are very friendly. Breakfast is served all day and in big portions. Had breakfast for dinner. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, and home potatoes. That was normal as expected. 7/10. My daughter had the Polly Burger. Kinda small but the onion rings portion was very satisfying to her. 7/10. The price is ok. Comparable to Dennys but with a smaller menu. And better quality. We will go back eventually.

The staff and environment were fabulous, and very helpful on our first visit ever, to Pollys Pies. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing, and our meals were served in a timely manner. We MUST discuss the ginormous cinnamon roll, which came highly recommended by other, regular patrons of the establishment, as well as the staff. Our lovely waitress offered up a her favorite spin, on this classic favorite, by adding strawberries and whipped cream--DELICIOUS!!! The host was helpful in helping us choose one of the many tempting pies, before we were seated, and once our meal was over, our freshly baked Apple Crisp Pie was delivered to our table. You must go for their breakfast. I will be heading back for lunch, and dinner, so lookout for my reviews!

I ordered chicken fried steK, eggs over hard, hash browns. The chicken fried steak was exceptionally hard with runny white gravy (it was flavorless). The has browns were crispy outside yet,under cooked below the surface. The eggs that were suppose to be hard, they were runny. The best thing about the meal was the bran muffin...I probably wont be returning....

This place has great food and service. They have delicious coffee and bakery items especially there cinnamon rolls. I love bringing my family here for breakfast every chance we get. The service is always great from the hostesses to the servers. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Food is ok, nothing that we ate stood out. Husband had ribs, son had Philly Cheesesteak. Said it was how they expected them to be. Menu changed since I was there last. Got slices of pie to go, very good, but not the best I have had. Very average, good to go to once in a great while, but not one of our regular choices.

The tomatoe soup was good . The Chinese chicken salad was 98% iceburg lettuce. Much to high of price to pay for lettuce. One of our dining companions said the chicken strips and coconut shrimp was just ok To be fair our other companions enjoyed the fried chicken and the other enjoyed the turkey dinner.

Pollys is a great find! Thats why Im giving it a solid 5 stars!The pasta was excellent and has some great depth to the strong and subtle flavors that blend so well. The Pimiento Bread Dip was a very pleasant surprise. I could even see it tossed with pasta. The bread was warm and firm, but not hard.The black ice tea was good without being bitter at all! Most places over steep or too high heat.The environment is very clean and comfortably quiet. The service as great! Friendly, approachable and respectful to recommending the actual foods they like instead of saying Everything is good.Early mornings are extremely busy. Brunch and after are a steady crowd, but not usually more than a few minutes wait.Truly a great find!

Was in town on business and stumbled upon this gem while looking for some breakfast. Walked in and was seated right away. A waiter recommended the pumpkin cream cheese stuffed french toast, so I decided to get it since its only available for a limited time. Could be gone by the time this review is over...lol.. anywho...it was delicious!!.. didnt even need the syrup.Complimented the meal with some scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a turkey patty. Overall, wonderful meal and service!! Will definitely return to try out the pies!!!

A good little fun place to go. Very friendly. Didnt seem busy but didnt exactly get what I ordered. Not a deal breaker by any means but.....come on. Left tomatoes off the grilled cheese and used ice cream instead of whipped cream on my slice of pie. Not a big deal really. All was good and my tomatoes were on the side. A good grilled cheese by the way.

Ive driven past this place for years, and this is my first visit. Staff is nice and accommodating. The venue is clean, but the food lacks just a little. The home potatoes were overcooked to the point of being hard and burnt. The menu could use an overhaul, too. But overall, its a very nice place. I will visit again and do recommend. Just tell them easy on the home potatoes.

This was one of our last days on vacation on the west coast, and grandma wanted to bring us here. So thankful for her suggestion!! The menu has plenty of options, meat eaters or vegetarians. The hardest part was selecting something since it all sounded so amazing. I went with the double polly burger and it did not disappoint! Afterwards we dove into the pies, apple crisp and boysenberry.. WOW!! If you are in the area and searching for a place to dine.. stop looking, this is the place!! We WILL be back!!

I had a delicious birthday supper at Norco Pollys... a Patty melt made to order smothered in sweet grilled onions on their excellent rye bread made crispy and melted Swiss cheese on both sides of the patty. Topped the meal off with a giant root beer float. So-o-o satisfying.

Were visiting from out of state and saw this restaurant from the road. We read the online reviews and menu and decided to try it. We were a party of 2, Fish & Chips & Chicken Fried Steak. The meals came with 4 hot delicious rolls. Fresh ice tea that was always filled and strawberry lemonade. Covid precautions were strictly enforced. Patio seating only, paper menus, pre-wrapped silverware. We took a chocolate cream pie and a boysenberry pie to go. The food was all amazing. Everything is made fresh on site. The server was very precessional and friendly & wore a mask. I highly recommend this restaurant. If youre traveling through or a local, give this place a try. Like a lot of businesses, its trying hard to get through this pandemic.

Started out by walking past the table with an old man or young Hispanic man, two little kids, and a meek, Hispanic women. The kids are out of control, and the dad was screaming at both of them the entire time I was there and both English and Spanish. The menu showed pictures of the food. I should’ve known then to leave but, I gave it a chance thinking a picture isn’t always worth 1000 words. When I finally got waited on by the less than enthusiastic waitress, I ordered the half chicken and mashed potatoes. It came out relatively quickly. The mashed potatoes were so smothered and nasty gravy, I couldn’t find the potatoes. The chicken looked dull and overcooked…like two days ago overcooked and in turn tasted that way . Do you remember the turkey on Christmas Vacation? Well that was this chicken. Let’s forget that it smelled like a garbage disposal. The best part about the meal was the Arnold Palmer. I had two of them, delicious. Finally, the waitress came back just in time to give me the check before I walked out not paying anything. I am not sure where these reviews came from. Maybe there are other locations that are better, but the one on Hamner is terrible. I was going to try the pie because that’s what they’re known for but if this meal was that bad, I didn’t want to take a chance on the pie.

Burgers are juicy and delicious and the pies are to die for, like any pollys restaurant but the staff in this location are unattentive even with empty restaurant, when do you get in you have to wait to be seated we wait for 5 mins before they notice us but the lady was doing something on the back when we get in and saw us but she acts like she didnt after she finished to stock the cookies then give us the table, waiters get in to the kitchen and dont do they rounds to ask what do you need

Just amazed is all. Big checkers table for ALL to play or spectate in the lobby. 15 min wait on the weekend morning (peak busy time), got sat in a corner booth (so comfortable), waitress was super with-it and did not miss a beat with our whole visit.Mimosas, Giant Cinnamon Roll and Strawberry/Banana Pie were the take aways.They have free wi-fi too. Not bad.Great for kids! I have a 15 & 9yo boys, and 12yo girl.

The waitress didnt even ask us if we wanted the breakfast menu or the lunch.She had a personality of a broomstick. My wife ordered a coffee and she never got it. The food was just barely ok. We went to this place because everywhere else there was a huge line with a wait time of up to 45 minutes. Pollys didnt have a line at all. Now I know why. The service is very important. An inferior quality of the meal is more forgivable than bad service with no smile at all. Just a description ofour experience that particular day. Hopefully the rest were better.

First time here recently and the wait time was short even though they said 20 minutes. The staff was friendly and had great experience, she was on top of our food and continously checked up on us and received requested items in a timely manner. The food came out fast and avocado toast was small but delicious, the vegetarian omelet was a decent size and also great, those giant cinnamon rolls are something to talk about; we had to take one to go. The price wasnt too bad. Similar to dennys but better quality food. Its easy to see from the highway but difficult to spot from the street

Had a nice meal on 03/13/19. Ended up ordering the Pollys Dinner Salad, California Tuna Melt, a cup of the Backburner Soup, and for dessert, the Eddies Apple Slice pie. The salad was small and perfect size for a quick appetizer, it was fresh. The melt sandwich was hot and delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The soup was very tasty and hearty, but a cup size was a bit too small, I should of ordered the bowl instead. And of course, the apple pie with vanilla ice cream was just the right way to end my meal, sweet and warm, melting the ice cream, oh how I love it when it all turns to mush!They were busy, as any restaurant would be for on a mid-week evening. Our waitress did a great job, but she was in a rush (arent they all). She also disappeared for what it seemed like 10 minutes? We were ready for the dessert and she was nowhere to be found, we had to ask a different server to help us with dessert. He was happy to, and our original waitress was the one who brought it out to us afterwards. This is the only reason Im not giving a 5 star review, but other than that, we enjoyed it, and the food was delicious!

Two stars because the server was super sweet and trying her best. But really this place is a one star. The food was over cooked. The hash browns burned, egg not poached, and it took an hour to get our food on a non-busy day. Also overheard the staff complaining about how frustrating it was to work there and how it was understaffed. We also heard other people being unhappy. The food wasnt good at all. Its so sad because this place use to be so good. Sadly we wont be coming back.

Great food. The Polly burger was awesome, I really liked it. The meat patty was cooked the way I wanted, medium rare. My wife ordered the grilled salmon and it was amazing, not too dry and very tasty. I gave it short of a 5 star because of our server. Otherwise, all the other service staff were great. I ate breakfast this trip. 2 eggs over medium, potatoes, bacon and sourdough toast with black coffee. Coffee was solid and not too bitter. Eggs were small but spot on as was my bacon. Potatoes were good, nothing spectacular, the jam that comes with the toast was delicious and I assume made in house. Solid breakfast spot. I still prefer cowboy surfer Grill in Corona but Polly’s is a safe breakfast pic.

Best meal ever at Pollys tonight! We enjoyed the new honey butter fried chicken, mashed potatoes and southern style green beans and the Salisbury steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes and fresh mix veggies with cornbread that was perfect! I cant wait to have the apple pie for dessert when we get home. Great service from all the staff! They remodeled since the last time we were there and it looks great! One thing I can say as far as the service it was okay the waitress was and of course I believe it was a manager who brought over our breakfast who is very nice and work gloves handling our plates which I appreciate very much but it is not cover the mishaps for making the biscuits and gravy yes you might say oh my God this person so big on biscuits and gravy hey if youre going somewhere trust me you want to have some serious biscuits and gravy you really have to work on that gravy it was very sad I didnt even deserve me taking a picture of it and posting it on here but it was very sad please work on your gravy please.

The waitress where very slow, took forever to get drink refill. The food was very bland. The one food that I thought I would be safe with was chicken tender and turned out that it wasnt safe, they cook fish in the same oil as the chicken and I started to have a allergic reaction. Im allergic to anything fish and have milk intolerance, thats why I stick with chicken. We ask the waitress about the fish being make in the same oil and she copped us an attitude and said I should have told her that I was allergic to fish. Nobody at my table had fish, so why should I have told her. Note any place that Ive ever eaten at never cook chicken tender with fish. The woman didnt even ask if I needed anything or say she was sorry. This was my first time going the pollys and that is my last time, very disappointing.

This was one of my mother-in-laws favorite places for breakfast. She loved the Bananas Foster French Toast.We had a bit of waiting for a table, but there is plenty of space between tables, and the food was very good. My wife had the Bananas Foster French Toast, and I had the pastrami hash skillet. It was tasty and plentiful. The service was very good. Even though our waitress was new, she took excellent care of our needs and we enjoyed our breakfast even more interacting with her.

Eaten here for years. At the Whittier location since the early 90s. This location has always had issues with consistency. The potatoes taste ok but the skins taste like pieces of newspaper every time you take a bite. And the chicken was flat out inedible. The skin peeled back like one huge price of leather. The meat was dry and crumbly. So dry I literally ate one piece. Very disappointing.

Our party of four was seated promptly and handed our menus. We waited 15 minutes for our waiter to even walk over and acknowledge us saying, “Hello, I will be with you in just a few minutes.” He could have at least took or drink orders but we were low on his priority list. This was our first trip to a Pollys and it was underwhelming.The hostess staff was friendly and our wait was short.I ordered a BBQ Chicken Chopped salad for about $13.It wasnt cold when it came out and was swimming in dressing. The portion size was smaller than expected, a little bigger than a drive-thru to-go salad. I asked our waiter if there was any type of bread that came with it and he gave me three choices. When he brought us the check I asked about it again, so he wrapped it up to go. He did do a good job with my special request of omitting one of the salad ingredients.My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. In his opinion the chicken fried steak may have been frozen and then deep fried, not prepared fresh. I tasted the biscuits and gravy off his plate and they were pretty good.If a friend asked to meet at Pollys for lunch, I would, but definitely order something else. This restaraunt has a free standing checker board table so that while you are waiting you can play a game of Checkers. There are candles for sale and it felt like you were in an old type of general store like in the 50s. It was cool.We were seated promptly and breakfast was ordered. Maybe they have too much to do that my beverage must wait to be refilled? Complaining about having to do extra because another server called off. The manager shouting across the dining area to tell the servers what they needed to clean. My first time at Pollys Pies and I came away very satisfied. The beef stroganoff was not strictly traditional, but very tasty with tender pieces of steak and lots of mushrooms. The portion was large. The pecan pie was excellent! It had a nice texture and was not overly sweet.

--Large party disaster--⏳Got there at 11:00 didnt get food till 1:20. Tables werent placed together after waiting over and hr. Mistake after Mistake, probably due to having only one waitress for 15 people. Was seated next to a barking 🔊 dog 🐕 🙄.Eggs Benedict was ... edible.Would not recommend here, will not come back.

We have been going to Pollys Norco for more than a dozen years now. The food is comfort at its best! That being said, waiting for a curbside pickup order for over thirty minutes after we got there is unacceptable. Worse was being quoted a price on the phone then being charged twice the amount is just robbery!

Heard good things about this place and I was in the area, so thought to drop in for a bite. Lots of solid choices. I didnt have any of the peach pie that looked great because they forget that an upgrade is different from a substitution, Coffee was good and the service was pleasant. Definitely a good place if your around here.

The menu items sounded delicious, but the actual product was mediocre. For being a bakery with fresh made daily breads and treats I wasn’t impressed. Typically house made bread is thick and bread-y. This stuff looked and taste like store bought. The service was just okay and my order wasn’t right. I didn’t bother to correct it other than ask for the extra I added that they forgot. We did get a free piece of pie, but they were out of our first choice. Ended up with the lemon cheesecake style. Meh. I was treated to dinner so can’t comment on price vs quality.

One of my 3 sandwiches was the wrong one. Not happy with having to go back to pick up the right sandwich. On my 2nd sandwich, they did make it right to reimburse me because I ordered my sandwich on sourdough. The sandwich I got did not smell or taste like sourdough bread & fell apart into a big mess. I only ate half & threw the rest away. I don’t like limp fries, which all of ours were. The coconut cream & cherry pie slices were very good. Next time I will order a dinner & not sandwiches nor burgers.

Fantastic food, service was SUPER slow. Ive been to the one in Cerritos and it is great. I was given a cold cinnamon roll and we waited 30 minutes from the time we received our cinnamon roll til we received our main dish. But food was amazing.

Have been coming here for several years. Relaxed atmosphere and absolutely sensational pies! Pecan and Cherry being the best (with ice cream of course). Great spot for long lunch and pretty easy to get a table without waiting too long. If you get a sandwich, try ordering it on their Sourdough bread - it takes it up a notch!

Food is delicious. Only I ordered 2 tuna melts through DoorDash and got 2 cold tuna sandwiches. They were still delicious, but I ordered tuna melts because that’s what we were wanting. Not sure why they didn’t melt them. Otherwise the three times I’ve ordered at Pollys have been great and delicious.

First time went to Pollys we were dissapointed with the food. It was bland and overcooked. But contacted customer service and they offered me a $25 gift card, which was nice of them. I went to Pollys again and it was better, still bland but I added salt and it was better. The pie was great though and the manager was pleasant. Im changing my rating from 1 to 3.

I really wanted to like this place. I heard they give you a free cinnamon roll on your first visit, however this is just a rumor and a cruel tease to get you in I guess. I expected the prices to be lower for such basic fare. They served me burnt food. Charcoal potatoes. There is no pepper on them, it is covered with charcoal bits (see photo). I couldnt believe that they wouldnt just throw this straight into the trash but actually served it to someone. The sausage was dried up too. The quiche and the coffee were good except for the charcoal bacon on top of the quiche. It was a 25 or 30 min wait to be seated. Lots of senior citizens. Homemade bread was meh, not wonderfully fresh or anything. I doubt it was made there, although some items supposedly are. Weird menu items, like a burger with peanut butter and jam on it. Yuck. We had to hunt for and take condiments off empty tables because the server never returned from getting them. We didnt try any pie, not likely to go back however. Quite disappointing overall.

Excellent service and wow! I highly recommend the lemon meringue. The meringue was fluffy and beautiful and the lemon the perfect blend of tart and sweet that just melts in your mouth.Had to take some oatmeal cookies to go of course :)

Weve been to Pollys before but this location wasnt so great. This experience, really. Our waitress wasnt so attentive even though it was a slow evening. We were there from 4:15pm-5:45pm ish. Some of our order never showed up and they were still appearing on the bill. We didnt feel welcomed this time around. I dont think we will be returning to this location unfortunately.

First visit to the Norco Pollys Pie. They were busy, but the wait time was not bad.Our server was busy, but friendly and helpful. She did a good job. My friend ordered the salmon. When the food arrived, the salmon didnt smell good, but my friend did not want to exchange it for something else. When he paid the bill, he mentioned to the cashier that the salmon was old and dry. She just ignored the comment and took his credit card. The other food was good. He should of sent it back.

Loved my pattymelt, the French fries were perfectly cooked also, nice and crispy. The cook put the perfect medley of hamburger, grilled onions and swiss cheese cooked crispy to perfection. My wife had the chicken strips salad with ranch dressing, and loved it. We shared a piece of apple pie, it was almost the size of 1/4 pie, yummy. Perfect finish to an awesome meal. The service was excellent!

Really has gone downhill. Not sure if its the covid or they just dont care anymore. Used to be great. Last visit I watched the manger being less than professional to a little old lady who just wanted to sit and wait for her table. Wasnt busy at all. He jumped all over her for asking. We left at that point.
