We found this restaurant while walking along the main street in Palm Springs. reservations were available but not needed, The menu had Belgian and French dishes with lots of choices, we enjoyed the mussels, beef, and lamb. The food was delicious and service was excellent.

This is one of my favorite French dining spots in the valley and they have one of the best French onion soups I’ve had by far. It’s a nice and cozy kind of place and with friendly staff. The first time we went it was all French speaking patrons and gave the impression of being very authentic.

We found the place by chance and were happily surprised by absolutely everything. From the wine recommendations to the desserts . Willy our garçon was very french and polite . Definitely one of our local favorites now.

We came here for lunch around 2pm we want to try their mussels and steak. The place was pretty empty with many seats open either in the outdoor patio or inside. So we thought there will be no issue getting a table for us.There’s a sign that says please wait to be seated at the host table near the entrance, but it took a while before someone eventually came out to greet us. He said “How many people and do you have reservation?”. It was kinda weird to me since the place is really empty with only a few tables occupied sporadically. So I told him that there are 4 of us and we don’t have reservation, thinking that it won’t be an issue at all as they are probably glad to have customers to fill the place. But to my surprise, he said in a grumpy tone and annoyed look “No, you need to have reservation”. Then he asked the couple behind me if they have reservation, to which they replied “no”. Without hesitation, he accepted them and said “since there are only 2 people we can seat you”. This doesn’t make sense at all, especially since there were plenty of empty tables. So when he returned from seating the 2 guests, I asked him if we can make a reservation for any time later in the day or evening. Then with a very rude and condescending tone he snapped at me in front of other guests seated nearby “I TOLD YOU THAT WE’RE FULLY BOOKED AND VERY BUSY” while pointing to his booking sheet.First, he didn’t tell me earlier that they’re fully booked for the whole day. Secondly, there’s no need to be all rude and angry toward a customer asking if we can make a reservation. In order to protect other customers I will be sharing my horrible experience with all my families and friends as well as social media so other people can spend their hard earned money at plentiful other establishments in Palm Springs who would be so much more welcoming and actually happy to see customers.

This place is amazing. I want to go again and again to try something new. When I thought it was one way, and it came out to this mind-blowing dish.

To be fair, I think the food not bad and the French fries are as good as what I have in Australia. However my husband was pretty angry and feels mistreated because we are Asian.Btw, I read all the reviews and grasped pretty good ideas. You should do so if you have different options.1. Reservation. It seems an issue here and many people complain that you can’t get a table without reservation even when it is empty. It is not a big deal to me. But my husband was upset when he was told we don’t have reservations so that we have to sit somewhere very bad while there are empty seats. I take it as a custom/culture thing. People can make their own rules, so it’s okay.2. I lived in three different countries so I am not super sensitive in terms of being a minority. But my husband was born and raised here, he said we were treated differently than white people. I did notice that after he mentioned, as in no one small talked to us but the two/three tables next to us. I assume the owner is gonna mention his wife is Asian, (having an Asian wife doesn’t make you Asian friendly) we also noticed an Asian lady at the front, if she is the owner’s wife, she was condescending.3. My husband ordered a bottle of beer, and got an empty glass for the beer. However the glass was wet and had water inside. He got judged by drinking beer from the bottle, and judged what to order. I guess it’s French attitude.I think my rating is pretty fair as I still gave 18% tips at the end and appreciated my food.

First time here and it was nice. Make reservations!! Nice outdoor space. Nice indoor space. The food was wonderful. Great beer and wine list. The cocktails made by bartender Nadia are wonderful!! She is amazing. Very friendly and personable. The guy at the host stand a bit harsh, but he didnt deter us from having a good time.

One of our most favorite places in the area! Have never had a meal here that we did not enjoy. The frog kegs and mussels are delish!

The decor reminds you of being in Belgium, with many Art Deco posters all over all the walls. The place cozy but still spacious enough. The menu is unique in Palm Springs, probably the only French cuisine in downtown area. We had Scampi in butter and parsley, frog legs, sole meunière, Flemish beef stew, all excellent. Very savoury and rich, didn’t spare the butter. Then well toasted bread was just right. The frites was mediocre. The 3 sauces, ketchup, mayo and salsa brava saved the frites. Would come back to try other plates for sure.
