If u like fried fish ect. Oysters. This is the place, call your order in, it is the best way, u can even sit out front on the tables. U park out on the street near the place.

This was not my first time at the Pomona Fish market. I grew up going to the fish market and have always enjoyed grabbing my favorite fried fishes which come in a variety and I had not been in quite some time being that I left California a number of years ago. I was looking forward to going back to my favorite little spot grabbing some good grubbage and it did not disappoint! A variety of fishes fried shrimp and great sides are always my faith when I go to Pomona it really brings me back to the old days

This place has been here for decades. Ownership has changed several times over the years. Not many selections in the area for a seafood fish market that also fries. Taste of food is somewhat decent when you have a craving for fried fish. Had the lemon pepper chicken wings. Those were very salty. You will need to call or ask in person. The menu online is not up to date. Many items are not available. The prices have gone up a bit. Parking is on street only and not to many close by. No public restrooms. There are a couple of picnic tables out front. Not the best ambience for eating there. No indoor seating at this time.

Great foodthat’s Worth the wait. I ordered the 4 piece jumbo shrimp with 4 or 5 piece fish ( sole), and hush puppies plus another plate with red snapper as the fish. I personally love sole, so I’d recommend that fish choice

This is absolutely the worst fish and shrimp combo I’ve ever had I guess LA spoiled me more batter than fish fried extremely hard fries are warm almost cold taste like they have been sitting for hours shrimp so so this was my first time, and definitely my last time

The service is just fine, if people aren’t yelling at the workers in the back, they are trying their best with the limited people in the back working vs how many people are ordering all at once.A customer literally slammed the front door even though it says to not slam the door.Their fish is delicious, my mom would buy from heat after church services back in 2002; she would always buy Buffalo Fish. I love coming here for their catfish, Tilapia and red snapper! They did hold back on the portions a bit sadly, especially with their fries.I miss the gaming machine they had, what happened too it?

Food is great, very bad attitude, bad service.Very unsanitized Been going here for a year now and every time I go in Theres an attitude.And a attitude serving food dissatisfied.

Best to order a hour ahead of the time you can pick up your food on Fridays and Saturdays Friday being the busiest day. Call in ahead because just showing up and expecting the food to be done in 20 mins is not realistic. People from down south come in and say the food is either cooked the same or to my surprise better than down south. Be kind, we are all in this together. After making this review, I visited again and there was a huge roach just laying there on display and where he keeps some of the fish usually in front on cooler days. Im done eating there 😩

Pomona Fish Market is part of everyone family in the neighborhood 😀. It has been around since the 70s. I can still remember going to the Fish Market with my parents as a kid. And its still around servicing the community.

I am here visiting from Atl and my cousin brought me here... the portions were great and the food was very tasty... I knew it had to be good because while we were waiting alot of people had ordered to go and were picking up food!
