This establishment has the most amazing food, we had breakfast burritos for breakfast this morning, hands down the best burrito Ive ever had, hot and fresh!! We eat here all the time, there hasnt been anything that we havent liked. They make a good hot pastrami sandwiches and have amazing burgers ... The staff is amazing and friendly. We will be back soon 😉
I’ve visited this place for at least the last 25 years. It has always been one of my favorites, never had a bad meal. They have great burgers, fries.. & they always, always make a great milkshake. Nice to have a small establishment last for so long. It’s always clean, & with all the hot rod photos on the wall, it makes it a fun place to go grab a bite!

Some of the best fast foods in town. Try the Philly Cheese sandwich and you wont be disappointed....... trust me you will be full but not disappointed. Not for people who worry about every little bit of fat. This food is to die for... not literally though. If you do die at least youll go out satisfied.
This place is amazing. Best burger and pastrami sandwich in town. Never had a bad meal here. We always call out order in and by the time we drive there its ready to go for us. They also make really good shakes.
Very friendly staff, with a positive attitude.Food was made quickly, fresh to order.Prices are reasonable for Redding, CA.The decor is nice, however inside area pictures are fading from sun and age.The food choices are mostly lunch grill fair.Tried the cheeseburger with everything (grilled onions), French fries and onion rings and a Pepsi.Burger tasted good, however the meat seemed small in relation to bun size.Grill onions were diced, so they kept falling out of the bun.The french fries and onion rings tasted good, and hot, but a bit too much salt on the rings.Coming from a soda fountain, the Pepsi was spot on for taste.I would eat here again.
If Im craving a good burger, I go to Pops. Everything Ive ever order has been great. The food is always fresh and tasty, plus it always comes out in a timely manner. The staff are great, they got to the point where they remembered our order because we went there so often! I cant say enough good things about Pops!
Wow, amazing food. I just randomly picked whatever my eyes were attracted to coz theres a lot to choose from. Ordered the daily special Single cheeseburger that comes with fries and soda, the mountain burger, polish hotdog and onion rings.Will definitely be back for more food to try. Wonderfully simple aesthetic and the burgers are too damn delicious. The staff was wonderful to talk to and you can tell they really take pride in what they do. Its a weird location but dont let it deter you from enjoying one of three best ma and pa burger joints in Redding.
Their shakes were great. Theyre made with real Dryers ice cream, none of that soft serve stuff they call ice cream.The cheeseburger was OK, nothing special.The staff was very friendly and the order was ready fairly quick.
Best deep fried mushrooms and BLTs in Shasta County! I go here often for those little delicious delights. They also have some darn good shakes too. The place could use some updating, only reason for 4 star, but the food is fab.
Their food is so good, even a simple cheeseburger blows other places out of the water. I do wish they had garlic fries tho that would make them 100% in my book.

Afton the owner is friendly and kind. Her restaurant makes you feel like youre at home. Her sons cook what you eat they are amazing people. They love talking to their customers. Everyone is treated fairly no matter who you are. Their food is amazing. My favorites are their chicken nuggets which are moist juicy and tender and very flavorful also I enjoy the bacon cheeseburger it is the best cheeseburger I have ever found. My husband has to get the bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms on it. They learn how you like it and value your service. No matter who you are i believe you will enjoy it. If you like milkshakes you will love theirs its made with REAL ice cream right in front of you.
Ive been coming here since I was about 12 years old and went to the school around the way, they had the best milkshakes and must I say still do. They also make the most amazing well done burgers with always such a comfortable atmosphere. Im 26 now and still make my stop in here and there for amazing food with good company.
These guys are the nicest people Ive met in a fast food environment. They also have great food and my favorite is their shakes. I work near Enterprise High School and I dont hesitate to drive downtown to pick up one of their shakes. If youre looking for a good American meal you need to come here.

Took the classic out for a cruise and stopped her for a burger. I drive by this place a few times a week and I will definitely be back to try their other food.Great prices and the food was great dont pass it up
This place is not too far from where I live and I have been there several times. On each visit I ordered something different and everything was great. The prime rib sandwich was excellent. I ordered it with a side of au jus and it looked so good that my table-mates all wish that they had ordered it instead of burgers.Speaking of burgers, I had a double burger with hot pastrami on top and it was delicious. I took my son and my Japanese daughter-in-law there recently. She had never seen a 50s themed restaurant before and they both loved it. The shakes/malts are fresh and really good. I always get the Banana/Peanut Butter Malt.My only complaint is that the place could be cleaner. Also, there is always lots of flies buzzing about, especially by the windows. The dining room really does need a little TLC but the kitchen looks clean and Pops is worth the trip.
Staff is outstanding. Excellent shakes and the fries are fresh AF! The hoagies are packed to the gils with prime rib and sauteed peppers, onions and smothered in cheese. And dont forget the special sauce!
Very very expensive milk shakes @ $10 for a large 320z and ordered a butterscotch flavor milkshake and couldnt taste butterscotch at all. Not really impressed. Second time trying the same order, figured everyone has an off day, but 2nd time wasnt any better, so 2nd time was last time ill spend my money there. Sorry Pops, but for a $10 milk shake it should taste like the flavor requested.
Cool little 50s style diner they had quite the selection on the menu board including one of my favorites a Philly cheese steak. So far all Ive tried from pops 50s place was a vanilla malt but it was very good and I will be back for a cheesesteak soon. Thank you guys.
Great food! I stop here for lunch every chance I get. I love the butterscotch milkshake! The bacon cheeseburger is so big I can barely finish it. The tater tots are always just right, soooo crunchy!
Best burger of all time. Every single ingredient was perfect. Fries are the perfect fries; hot, salty, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Dr. Pepper shake is to die for. A million stars.
This is a basic hamburger joint in Redding with a 50s theme, Elvis and the rest. The food is well prepared and much better than a fast food place. It has never been super busy so service is fast. It seems to be sort of a local hang out where staff know the customers. It could use a little face lift but otherwise I recommend it
Their cheesesteak sandwich is so good, like top 2 best Ive ever eaten, but I do have to split it with someone because its giant! Their milkshakes are really good too and the people seem friendly. I also like the fact that its got cool pictures of classic cars and its a little part of Reddings history.

Basic old school hamburger stand with great shakes and nicely done tater tots and fries. Selection is not that great, but everything is fine with care. Outdoor dining available and shade to eat in your car.
They have a decent food, but the price is much more than a restaurant chain. As Im sure they have to pay more for their product than a chain place would have to pay. The only item I got was an order of tator tots. They were good and came with some yummy sauce. My only complaint and the reason why I gave it only stars, its the dining room! Its not very clean. I noticed another person said the same thing. Who wants to swat away flies and see dead ones along the window ledge as you eat, not me thanks... If the dining area was cleaner I would rate a 5.

Had a Large Banana Vanilla Carmel shake and Large fry w/secret sauce. Pops was not crowded and customer service was right on. They have a drive-thru for take out.

I had their pastrami sandwich yesterday had to come back for a second one today but they sold out! its no doubt that was one of the best sandwiches I ever ate, until I had the ribeye Philly cheese today OMG delicious fresh piled high with meat cheese peppers onions! Ill definitely be back to try something else!

First time here, burger was tasty. Would have gave 5 stars if they didnt forget our 2 french fries and my daughter ordered 8 pc nugget & fries but only got 7 nuggets.
Service was good, food was lacking. For 6$ you get what amounts to a sub par McDonald’s burger and still get to add another 4$ for fries that were over cooked and not salted and still no drink...all in all not worth $30 for 2.

The fries and tots were perfectly crispy! Had a peanut butter oreo shake and sourdough grilled cheese (you can add stuff on the grilled cheese!) Pretty good.

Very dirty there was dead flies in the window sills and on the booth seats. Meal was expensive and honestly nothing better than the Burger King value menu. Save your money and go there.

2022-02-16 22:11:56Around the corner from Thermo King where I was having my reefer worked on.As a truck driver im always looking for the hidden gems 💎I found one here in Redding, CAI ordered the Double hamburger special. Very tasty.Hamburgers cooked just right, the French fries didnt look or taste frozen but like from fresh potatoes ...the lettuce on the burger was fresh and crunchy! WOW!I cant wait to come back to this location.I spent about $14 for my meal and was satisfied.

Yes you can get a $1 burger from McDonald’s but that $1 burger also will look the exact same 2 years later if you left it in a bag. But after you eat there food it doesn’t feel like a grease ball when it hits you. Family owned business and it shows staff treats you like family member.
