Pops Public House in Gilroy

My first time stopping by, I came for our friends birthday dinner.This is a MUST-try restaurant! The food is delicious, especially their burgers! They give you big portions! I eat a lot, and the burger alone filled me up. Theyre definitely known for their burgers since mostly everyone in the restaurant ordered burgers.Our waiter was very nice and friendly. He was very attentive, and we got our food within 20 mins, which wasnt bad since they were busy!The lighting in the restaurant is perfect. They have a pool table and games to play with friends! A bar is youre just trying to grab a drink.Overall, I had a great experience! I will be going back to try their pasta!

Just passing through and had an amazing experience! First, such a cool spot! Decor is really nice and its super clean. Service was awesome; super friendly. Pretty extensive menu too. I had BLT on sourdough, really yummy, fries were exceptional 😋 Husband had the tortilla soup, hands down best I have ever had! Flavors were great, chock full of chicken, a meal in itself! The cocktail list looked awesome too.

Pops is great! After having been here a couple of times, I can definitely say that the food is consistently great. They have a great selection of signature drinks to try out while also having yummy food. I personally really enjoy the garlic burger, and weve also tried the baked potato soup which is really good. The pan dulce bread pudding is so delicious, and caps off the great meal. Also, the service has been phenomenal, especially from Carlos who was on point in every aspect during our last visit. This place is definitely worth a try!

Our first time there and all around great experience. A lot more family friendly with some games. The fried chicken sandwich was amazing and the Cobb salad had great chicken!

So happy to see this place come to Gilroy, amazing food and great atmosphere. The staff was on point, they only have been open a few weeks but the level of service was exceptional. Huge gourmet burgers, short rib was amazing and it came with a tamale, which was delicious. They also have Promised Land Brewing company on tap so it’s great to see them pouring local craft beer. Also great craft cocktails at good prices.

Delicious American food. Huge portions.The buns are buttered and toasted on the burgers, the burger patties were really juicy, and we loved that the burgers came with side salad plus fries.

**WARNING**The burger here are big and delicious. 😋 we ordered the Whiskey Burger and the Spicy J Burger both with garlic fries. I highly recommend this place.

On our Kid’s Birthday it’s a family tradition they get doughnuts for breakfast and choose where we eat for dinner. Westlyn chose Pops Public House! Thank you to Katie Perales and staff for making our dinner so great. The food is delicious and the environment was perfect!!

Food preparation is sometimes good and other times not so good for the same items on the menu. Still you get the sense that they are trying. Service is always friendly and a nice family friendly place. So I will continue to go back.

Good food, good drinks, good prices and friendly staff. I had the short rib tacos, but the hamburgers were big and tasty along with the garlic fries and sweet potato fries. Pops old fashioned is a cross between a whiskey sour and old fashioned.
