Portos Bakery and Cafe in Buena Park

This place...probably the best Cuban food you could eat. The customer service was excellent, everyone we came into contact with that worked there was very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of people there, which tells me that the food is good, but it was way better than that. We will definitely be coming back to eat here. The prices were so low, it didnt make sense, for how prices are everywhere else. Love this place!!!

Absolutely delicious! Worth the wait for pickup or waiting to be seated inside! The food is always fresh and tasty and prices are reasonable! We once waited in the line to be seated but nowadays we order online from their website and then pickup. Highly recommended things: Fruit tarts, almond brioche, spinach- cheese empanadas and potatoes chili pepper balls for vegetarians! Their breakfast menu is also very exciting with lots of options for burritos and sandwiches!In short give it a try and you won’t regret!!!

Hard to park in this location, very small parking lot and always busy. Pirates dinner parking lot offers self park for $3, well worth it! Always a wait but line moves quickly, came around noon. Always worth dining in, food options are delicious, and theres something for everyone. Service is quick and friendly. Love their house cold brew!

Okay the hype was proven right! I could not understand the fascination with this place, but after waiting in line for 15 minutes it was finally my turn and boy was it worth it. The pricing is so good! That chocolate croissant is travel worthy, and the potato balls were awesome

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Portos Bakery, and I must say that Billy made it even more special. The moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked goods greeted me, and I knew I was in for a treat. The pastries were delicious, especially the churro croissant and cheese rolls. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Billy. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the products, and his friendly demeanor made my visit even more enjoyable. Ill definitely be returning to Portos, and I highly recommend asking for Billy when you visit – his outstanding customer service adds an extra layer of sweetness to the experience!

Came out for my sisters 19th birthday. The service was incredible, the food was immaculate! Want to give a HUGE thanks to Billy for taking time to speak with us and giving us some tasty treats. Going back tomorrow for more!! 10/10 recommend!

Incredible and amazing breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options. My absolute hands down favorites are their ham or turkey croissant ($7.95) and the chicken empanada ($1.39) I have tried their chocolate twist dessert pastry which was a perfect blend of savory and sweet.I walk-in and wait in-line for the sandwiches or croissant since any fresh made food has to be ordered in person. I also order any drinks with my order then you can just pick up at the coffee bar while you wait for the food to be made. The food is always prepared in 5-10 min depending on how busy.Almost all the items in the case you can order online for pick up so you don’t have to wait. IMO is worth the wait regardless.Their food is fresh, soft, accurate and incredibly delicious every single time we eat here.Porto’s is one of a kind and their homemade social treats you can’t find anywhere else.Not to mention their prices are unbeatable! It’s unreal how affordable Porto’s is for their quality of food.

We had a good experience, but taking into consideration it was midmorning there were a lot of people. The staff are pleasant and since it was just cakes it didnt take that long. Place to check out other than Knotts 😊 The cake and muffins is great. Will definitely try other selections again. Try the cheese rolls.

What a great restaurant! We had many friends recommend trying this location and we are so happy that we did. The food was amazing and the prices are really hard to believe because they are so affordable. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Came here for breakfast....Got here about 8:30 am SundayPlace was steady with business.Staff has well over 50 employees to serve the customers.Everyone was friendly and engaging that worked there.Food was delicious!!! What can you say about Portos!! Everything was delicious from taste to presentation...You come here its like Costco... You tell yourself you wont but that much. You come out with boxes and bags of items.Your family and friends would be disappointed if you didnt.Must stop for anyone visiting.....
