I have fallen in love with Pots N Woks! The food is truly made with love and care. Ever since we found out that they catered to plant based diets and sold vegan food we couldnt get enough of it. Every single vegan dish my family and I have tried is bomb🔥🔥 You really have to try this gem in Whittier.
The food is good but they now are asking for vaccine cards and I’m not supporting this business anymore.

OMG this food is so good!! You get what you pay for and I think it is a little pricey but well worth every penny. I usually get the vegan 2 item combo and a Thai tea 🙌 the food is fresh and its a family owned restaurant so they may offer some off the menu items, if you dont see exactly what you are looking for. Its really amazing because they offer both vegan and carnivore options 😁 the rice and noodles are fantastic every time!I try to stop here whenever Im in the area 🙌🙌
So worth the drive. I live in Moreno Valley and heard about this place from a friend. Ive been vegan for 2 years and havent had Chinese food since then. I was not disappointed!!! I will definitely make the drive out here every now and then for some Chinese food. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. -Pros: unparalleled vegan options for Chinese food. My partner and I drive from OC to come here. -Cons: they usually don’t answer their phone, Long wait all the time, for vegan you can’t get sides or 4 item combos. If you want just 1 item you have to purchase it in the full entre size. Since we’re not in the area we can’t access the Postmates or DoorDash online order. Not sure if they’re on door dash or just postmates. Like other people have said they don’t have the time to cater to people or be super nice to you. Would love for them to go full vegan since there’s already so many regular Chinese spots 🥢🥡
A great place to come eat. Really good. Everything we have had here has been super delicious. We are vegan and this place has just been great for us. Only bad thing is that they are really stingy with the napkins and condiments lol other than that it’s wonderful.
The Chinese food is decent. They offer a variety of vegan options. They charge you extra for certain protein, but their portions are large so it is fair. However, they charge you a whole dollar for using card as opposed to cash. They also added on an additional $1 fee and were very defensive when I asked for clarification. Customer service is not great. Would not recommend unless you’re specifically looking for a place with vegan options.
I use to look forward to coming to this spot. Quality of service has severely declined. Hot tip to management - your employees are hanging up on customers and are generally disengaged and not looking to propel and grow your business. You have a great product but will continue to lose following unless you step up your customer service. Getting hung up on and talked about amongst employees while on the line is embarrassing - for your business.

This is a great little restaurant tucked away in a plaza inside of another restaurant. They have so many vegan options and their food is to die for. The inside is pretty basic plain white floors and standard cafeteria type seats and tables. The person at the register was nice and willing to explain what options were available.
They give you a lot of food and the prices are great. I recommend the banana blueberry boba drink.
Had the Orange chicken and the spicy beef. Both were great. You never go wrong here. The spicy beef might be too spicy for some people, but oh well, welcome to California. When in Rome!

As a non meat eater it can be a struggle to find food that actually tastes good. This place has fantastic food that is flavorful and mimics meat to perfection. Ive let my meat eating family taste it and they all agree that they can barely tell the difference. Thats a rare feat for Vegan food. Id recommend ordering ahead as every time Ive come here there is an extremely long line. First timers be prepared to wait but once you order your order gets to you quickly.

Im vegan. I ordered Orange chicken, beef Broccoli, chow mein and fried rice. It exceeded my expectation. So good. I had to look closely to make sure it wasnt MEAT. I WILL BE RETURNING for more. Big portions too. I couldnt finish it. Only ate half and was completely full. 2 meals for the price of one. Place looked clean and staff was friendly and quick.

So Ive been coming here for a long while now. Their food is still good, thankfully. But the customer service is still absolutely terrible. I follow their Instagram just to know about all their delays and hiccups and random early closing days, just to be ahead of all the mess. And they STILL take it out on the customers. I came early, got in line at 615 because they said kitchen closes at 630 and restaurant closes at 7. But dine in stops at 6? So why is 7 even mentioned if theres nothing you can do for us between 630 and 7? I waited in line and got to my turn at 625, suddenly kitchen is closed and they can only offer me al a carte. You guys knew what I was ordering when I called an hour ago and still chose to close when it was my turn to order? Makes no sense. Other than theyd rather close earlier than actually take care of the last of their customers. It was extremely rude of them, but theyre also aware of that. Point is, if they want to turn you away, they will. To be safe, their actual hours are 1pm-5pm. Thats the only time you can order exactly what you want. Any time outside of that, dont count on it.

Food was good but they take part in segregation and ask for vaccine cards in order to dine in. Only reason we still got food from there was because it was my daughters birthday and she was looking forward to eating there otherwise I would have cancelled our order and left. Will not be coming here again until they stand up and stop being sheep. Also, the cashier needs to be nicer.

I usually dont get sucked into what is trending.. but a good Chinese food place in Whittier is pretty hard to find. But I came in with expectations, Wich were not meant... I like to give everyone a chance but you must have flavor, first off let me start by saying HA! to ordering 3 combos and four drinks to come out to be a whole $65 dollars. Yes three two meat items cost me as if I went to a sit down family style restaurant, but I said maybe it will be so good its worth it 😏 definitely NOT! first off if you are going to charge so much make sure the portions are all the same. The girls serving looked like they were there against their will, and every plate has a different portion on it, the chow mein was ok. That was the only thing the glass noodles were RAW stuck together flavorless, the whole plate was flavorless the shrimp were a big let down, healthy doesnt equal tasteless. The drinks were horrible as well watered down and boba tasted spoiled, took them half an hour to give me my food or be buzzed for it, yeah this is a place we will never visit again, viral doesnt equal good .
The Samoan looking girl with arm tattoos taking the orders has a very rude attitude. I honestly thought she was on break just sitting there with her unfriendly face. I was surprised that they werent busy.. there was no line when I got there (6pm on a Saturday) no phone orders coming through.. maybe this place isnt what it used to be. Even though they didnt seem busy, it took awhile to get my food. Its a bit overpriced too.. especially the vegan option, $16 a plate!! Not sure Ill be returning.
A must try for Vegans! We havent had Chinese take out for over a year....since we became Vegan. Its hard to find Vegan options, so we usually have other take out that offers tofu bowls. Im glad we tried Pots N Woks (recommended by our daughter). We enjoyed the Orange Chickn and Mushroom Chickn. The staff have a good system for ordering, paying, and pick-up, very organized. The food was worth the wait and we will definitely be back. This is our new Vegan go-to Chinese take out.
Awesome food for everyone. The prices are a little high but for great quality of food, there are no complaints here. They even have a huge vegan menu but I do recommend ordering for pick up; there usually is a long line for this place, but Im shocked there wasnt one today.
Friendly staff that know how to keep order. I had the vegan bowl with orange chicken and the chicken blew me away. They are pretty filling and I like how much food you get for you money. I love this place.
So I just went into this location this past week. Ive been here in the past and the food has always been great. I heard they expanded their veggie menu so I decided to go in with my mom and niece as they are vegetarian. To my surprise 2 veggie and 1 reg combo came out to 45 dollars. The cashier tells me after she serves me and bags everything that the veggie meals are extra. So I politely asked where is that posted, to which she points at a small 8X10 paper on the wall to the right of the register which is almost impossible to read as shecherself could not make out the menu STRIKE 1. After I asked for bottled water which I was surprised when they said they were out FOUL TIP. I asked why they had no indoor seating to which I was told that they were following the NO INDOOR DINING MANDATE. When I stated that there was no such mandate and that they were doing a disservice to their customers by not allowing them to sit and eat they just ignored me STRIKE 2. So we finally wound up at a nearby park and ate. Moment of truth, 🥁🥁🥁drum roll...The food was fantastic. I had the Orange Chicken 9/10, Teriyaki Chix 8/10 (only because they forgot the sauce) rice noodles/chow mein 10/10. Even my mom and nieces combos were on point (of which I managed a Taste).😋😋😋 HOMERUNIn my experience customer service here has always been sus to say the least but I give credit where credit is do, the food always delivers and is on point. Cant have it all I guess. Sucks that customer service is often sacrificed nowadays especially when so many businesses are shutting down. You would think Customer service would be priority NUMBER 1. 😌
I gave four start because of the food and they were so delicious!!! I ordered vegan beef broccoli with noodle as usually and it was BOMB. But I gave no one star because of the customer service and they really need to improve their attitude. I complete understand they are super busy but they shouldn’t be rude to the customers and they just want happy with foods with good day! I hope the customer services improve!

Im vegan and I never thought I would be able to eat Chinese food again. The vegan options are all good Im in love with them all. They are also very friendly witch is something we love as well. Only downside is the wait but its well worth it. If they ever make vegan cheesecakes again i recommend the strawberry shortcake 🤤😍
Wow so hit the spot! Vegan Chinese with genuine flavor and heat to our liking what a win! the Vegan Beef was solid and the Spicy Garlic Vegan Chicken was a total for sure. Will be back for sure this is such a great spot. Everyone is so nice and it shows the line was out the door!
Yummy vegan Chinese food. I really enjoyed everything we ordered. I dont know if I can properly evaluate the restaurant since I only went in to order. You know, covid-19 and everything. I only wish that the food was affordable enough that I could go back more often. For a family of 4 with a teenager in the house this will have to stay an occasional treat.

Horrible customer service! Cashier was arguing with me instead of simply being apologetic. I guess they’re so busy that they don’t care about ONE customer. My food had been sitting their for my shrimp to be ready and when I expressed to her that they should have prepared both plates at the same time she told me I should have told them that when I ordered. What the heck?!?! They should know customers don’t want their food cold, I shouldn’t have to tell them. It was my 1st time there and it was highly recommend by my family, I’m never going back there again. Not because of the long wait but because the cashier got all aggressive and rude. I hope they read this and change their attitude towards their customers. I too own a business, and I would never treat a customer like that.
This place was great! The vegan dishes are so yummy definitely loved the orange chicken with rice and chow mein. This place is very popular we sat around for 30 to 40 mins and they had a steady flow of people. The vegan food takes a while to make so call in advance or chill out for a bit. The service was very nice the girls were helpful and very nice to their customers definitely will come back again even though Im coming from the valley its worth the drive :)
Food and portions never disappoint (even the vegan items are bomb). But as good as their food is, their service is the opposite. I waited over 40 minutes for some pickle corn dogs, and they made no attempt to comp anything or help out with a portion I was shorted. 0 Front of House people service skills.

If I could rate them 10-stars I would! They have truly perfected the craft of vegan american-Chinese cuisine. We got takeout the other day - I got the general TSO combo which comes w/ rice and noodles, my brother got the orange chicken combo, we each had a veggie egg roll also. The portions were huge (like 2 servings in 1) and the taste was exactly like classic Chinese takeout, but like the best quality version of that.I have had vegan American-Chinese in the past at two other places but did not feel the love in them, I could tell those other places purchased their meat substitutes wholesale from supplier, the meat substitute for the chicken at pots n woks is incredible, has to be homemade secret recipe or something, you just have to try it honestly.The wait time did take twice the estimated time I was told on the phone (20 turned into 40 minutes) but honestly we had zero time constraints that Saturday so whatever, the food was so good that its no way they deserve anything less than 5-stars even despite the longer wait lol, they were really super busy so that just speaks for itself people like it!!

Pots N Woks is a strong contender for best vegan Chinese food Ive ever had. Their General Tsos is incredible. And you can tell from your interaction with the staff, both online and in person, that they actually care about their customers. The space itself is small but as cute and clean as a strip mall restaurant can be, I suppose. We drive 40+ minutes to pick up our food from here because its so worth it.

I came here because I seen someone post it on tik tok and gave it a good review so I decided to give it a try. Once I got my food and I was about to eat it I seen a hair inside my food. I went back Inside to complain and asked to speak with a manager and I repeatedly got told that this is a family owned business and there was no manager available. They offered to remake my food but there should be no reason my food should have had hair.

I have ordered multiple times over the phone, since that is their request in order to get vegan orange chicken. This experience was one of the worse I have had there. Usually the women are very rude & attend to be condescending. As I’m placing the order, instead of assisting me, statements made “if you were more specific and clearly stated what u want it would help us understand what u want” but this is after 3 attempts of telling her “I want the vegan orange chicken with chow mane...” just the whole “customer service” is horrible...being a new restaurant, i expect better. & FYI, have MORE workers on busy days instead of keeping me on the phone for 25 mins, as well.

Didn’t put boba on the drink after ordering the first time and reminding them when they called me to inform me the second. After taking the meals I had to walk back in so they could put the boba, the cashier in the front seemed upset (mind you I was polite and didn’t utter a single rude word). Never coming again. Panda is better. I wouldn’t recommend anyone waiting there time to get food here. Ended up spending an hour to get a simple dish
OMG this place is just WOW. I ordered vegan chicken, chow mien and the kung pao beef and it was AMAZING its like I was eating the real stuff. My bf ordered non vegan and also said it was delicious. DONT GET ME STARTED ON THEIR LEMONADES 🤤🔥 definitely recommend 10/10 and just a heads up the vegan options are pricer, but if that doesnt bother you then you totally gotta eat here 👍🏽 will definitely be coming back

Their regular Chinese food is not great. The orange chicken is more breaded than anything, bbq chicken is too chewy, fried rice is hella dry, egg rolls were bad (tasted like nasty panda express egg rolls), vegan cinnamon rolls were dry and the creme was like water, but their chow mein is ok.I got two plates, egg rolls, and vegan cinnamon rolls all for $34. Thats hella expensive! This place gets 2 stars cuz their chow mein saved the day. Im disappointed. I guess this place is only known for their vegan food. Sad cuz their vegan food too expensive! :(

Drove 45 minutes to satisfy our vegan Chinese food craving. Did not disappoint! Huge portions, everything was delicious and exactly how I remembered it from my non-vegan days. The General Tsos chicken was great and the Walnut Shrimp was amazing! We also got the Vegan Cream Cheese Wontons. They were good, but I thought they could use a little sweetness. The chow mein is tasty and much better than what you get at Panda Express. The fried rice was just okay. We added a little extra soy sauce to ours as it was lacking a little flavor. Will definitely make the trip back for our next craving!
For my first time visit honestly it was really good. The staff are really nice! They serve you a decent quality of food and their food is so fresh compared to other asian restaurants. I will definitely be coming back again! I highly recommend.

Never fails in taste and quality. They keep improving on their social distancing (they were already one of the best places) and recently added pagers you can take to your car and wait to avoid large crowds forming. They always support the community and its patrons. 10/10

It felt so nostalgic eating their food and it took me back to my non-vegan days. Highly highly recommend the vegan chow mein, orange chicken, and cream cheese wontons.

Place is run by a husband and wife couple who are actively involved in the daily operations of the food joint.Theres a hot food bar with pre-cooked food thats constantly replenished during the lunch hour for your 1, 2 or 3 item combos. If you prefer a more specific dish, you can order a variety of vegetable or meat items off the menu - did i mention that they have a vegan option for most of the meat substitutes?Any other dietary preferences can be requested and are typically adhered to.Price is fantastic depending on what your appetite is like - Ive gotten 14oz of teriyaki chicken with a side of green beans for under $10.

They no longer do combo A (1 item) or combo C (3 items) and have since raised their price of their combo B (2 item)Guess because theyve become so popular and raised it in my opinion. $11+ for Chinese, not too cheap but decent food.
Tried out their vegan menu thanks to a co-worker, man was I blown of how delicious it was, not to mention the portion sizes, enough for two-three people. Super friendly and spacious atmosphere, felt great all the way through.
Amazing vegan options. The Cream Cheese Wontons are the best. Also their selection of flavored lemonades is great. Truly perfecting the art of Chinese fast food here.
Some of the best food on this side of town, their vegan cookies in particular are worth trying even if you dont like this type of food. Also plently of vegan options available here. The downside about this place is they get really busy at times so the food can take awhile so expect to wait a few minutes, regardless of the wait time, the food is worth every bite.
I go to this place every time Im craving Chinese food and it would never disappoint. I went there yesterday and I hadnt been in a little while and was surprised to see that they had updated the establishment and made it a lot more lively. The food is very good and the Thai tea is also really good as well. Would definitely recommend this place.
Coustomer service is bad 👎 the cashier guy goes back and forth serving food and touching money 💰 at the same time.They have this vibration device that everyone touched and is nit getting disinfect. I dumped all the food 40 dollars down the trash. Dont go there
Food was great. One of the female cashiers was a little passive aggressive. Came in one day, I had seen an offer on IG for buy one get one. I asked about it and she matter if factly said we dont have a deal like that. I asked are you sure and she said the same thing again. Turns out it was for the previous day. All she had to say that it was yesterday, and it expired, not talk to me like Im an idiot.

I placed one order on the phone and my husband picked it up. It was a vegan combo- noodles with rice and orange chicken. Somehow the person taking the order wrote two orders. He had to pay both orders because if the mistake made by the person taking the order. My husband tried to explain that I just placed one order. My husband is wanted to be professional and not couse a scene and had to pay for the vegab orders and hes not even vegan!!!!ts quite upsetting that they dont own up to their staffs mistakes.Never again!!!
Food is delicious, a little pricey. Costumer service isn’t good though. Employees seem a little clueless, especially when you order on the app or when you ask about their menu and deals. But there is this one cashier who is there every time I go and she is the rudest one.
Ive been vegan for two years and I have been searching for Chinese food that resembles what I ate growing up. Today my search for great chinese has ended. Pots N Woks is EXACTLY what I have been searching for for the last two years. This is a restaurant I would recommend to anyone, regardless if they are vegan. 10/10 would come every day.

Drove over 20 min to try their food. As I was waiting in line I am told I cannot order because they close at 7... online their hours said they closed at 8 & the people before us got to go in & order, even though they were closed. Not going back, it was a waste of time.
This vegan Chinese options are delicious, I’m obsessed and I’m not even vegan, just trying out other options. But it has become my new favorite Chinese restaurant 🙌🏼Service is also wonderful!
Best Vegan Chinese Ive ever had. Vegan orange chickn, vegan cream cheese wontons, vegan broccoli beef and vegan chow mien forever. Its unbeatable.
The deserts are definitely not vegan. I can taste the milk in the brownie and the oreo cookie cake. Im not sure if they are 100% honest about their vegan options

Would have given this place 5 stars of the service wasnt so freaking slow. The 3 stars are for the food. Great Chinese food, but be prepared to wait....and wait....and wait some more. Their ordering system needs to change, and fast.
Worst customer service, they charge $1 for chili oil paste, when I spend $46.03 and now I have to spend a minimum of $5 to use my card.
A family owned restaurant that understands that serving vegan/gluten free dishes to their customers is not a trend. It is also so refreshing to see traditional restaurants gradually transition from serving meat and gluten, to serving vegan/plant based and gluten free food.
Not worth it! They r penny pinchers. Will charge you for the smallest things. Even an extra styrofoam container to put your rice in. Food is sub par. Loaded with veggies and little meat. Better off eating somewhere else. Even Panda Express!
Food is good, service is great. The wait time is a tad bit too long and they did not answer the phone to order on the way there. Will give it another shot but we did spend almost 30 minutes trying to call ahead

Amazing food. I got the chow mein, fried rice Orange chicken and broccoli/beef. You can order ahead but as they said they take walk-ins priority over the phone order.

All of the vegan products are soy based (including the “mushroom” chicken . Also the risk of cross contamination might be high. Tried to like this place but a bit unorganized concerning the menu.

You’re gona wait at least 20 minutes for food that’s above average. Instead of preparing your food and charging you like most restaurants of this type, they just give you a ticket and you gotta wait for a while

If I could leave zero stars I would. First time here and last. Terrible customer service, the workers are rude and not helpful at all. We get it you are annoyed, but dont take it out on your customers. The food wasnt even that good, and it was too expensive.
Went in there on a Friday night and waited 10 mins in line to find out they ran out of chow mein, pork, and chicken. How do you run out of these things in the middle of a dinner rush? The food is good for something fast, but I was told there was a 25 minute wait on the chicken and pork. Its like you know your running low, maybe you should start cooking it sooner, especially when your busy? Im tired of settling for things I dont really enjoy. If this was the first time, then I would give them a pass, but seems to be a reoccurring thing with them. Im done with this place. I was really pulling for you guys too.

No stars this place will refuse service by messing up your order or by putting a cup of salt in your food they dont tell u there refusing service they want you to get the point dont come back i got a plate fool of salt and a side order of mushroom chicken with a cup of oil dont eat there they are dirty and i will be calling health inspector and reporting them to bbb.

2023-10-01 22:33:54I’ve been here at least three times, if not more, and Pots N Woks never disappoints. Amazing vegan options, the vegan orange chicken is a favorite! It’s so hard to get the texture right for vegan orange chicken, and Pots N Woks always nails it! The three entree vegan combo can easily feed two people.

2023-05-20 19:42:09Not what it used to be. 5/20 ordered at 12:10pm. Ten minutes after they opened for the day. The regular Orange chicken wasn’t fresh(probably made more than a hour ago and the broccoli beef was semi cold. My gf wasn’t impressed with the vegan orange chicken it’s not made to order no more and was also semi cold. Seems to be this food was made way before opening time. Don’t like the rice they use for the chow mEin.

My partner and I ordered two option b meals (which comes with fried rice and chow mein as well as two aide choices) and two chicken egg rolls and the total came out to about $33. Which is not that bad for the amount of food we were given and how tasty the food was.

2022-10-11 00:02:13I tried their regular (not vegan) Fried Rice, Chow Mein, BBQ Pork and Kung Pao Chicken. The food was okay, I really wanted to try their Vegan options but it was much more pricier than I thought. One plate is big enough for two people so consider sharing a plate. Overall, the food was decent. I have yet to find a really good Chinese food spot. On that note, I need to try their vegan options since I heard about this place because it’s vegan friendly.

I had seen them on Instagram but was hesitant to take the drive from LA not knowing if it was going to be good,but it didnt disappoint. I got rice, chow mein, and orange chicken, it was so good i had to make sure they gave me the vegan option because it was so flavourful and the texture was perfect... Definitely recommended, be ready to wait

2021-02-02 14:09:13I heard about this spot on social media and after drooling over their posts, I finally made it from Orange County and it was well worth the trip and wait.This is a small quick service restaurant in a strip mall shopping center offering both Vegan and non Vegan options. Per Covid only take out and delivery (Postmates & Uber Eats) are available and they can get very busy so ordering ahead for pick up is best but it can be hard to get through their phone line.I ordered the Vegan Orange Chicken combo with 1/2 rice, 1/2 chow mein and a Guava/Passion Fruit Lemonade Boba which was also Vegan. Everything was fresh the Vegan options are made to order), flavorful and delicious. I was very impressed with the Vegan Orange Chicken and look forward to trying more Vegan options on their menu as I definately will be back. I highly recommend and even if youre not Vegan/plant based, encourage you to try it, youll be mind blown.
