Pottastic in Union City

Every time I’d order the chicken and pork stomach soup, and the tasty chicken pot. The chicken is super tender and flavorful.It is a little sad that they don’t seem to get as much business as before covid. The soup used to be in clay pot, now they are just in metal pots

Their menu has many exquisite Chinese dishes that you cannot easily find in other regular Chinese restaurants. And for those that we tried they dont disappoint. I guess they used to do hot pots but now it is not on their menu. And for dine-in they require reservation through the phone a day in advance, as they are staff limited - there was only one waitress when we had dinner there.

Lovely place and i am glad we give it a try!The pepper chicken soup stewed with pork stomach is really tasty, especially being a fan of black and white pepper. The soup itself is as white as milk. We had 6 people and it is enough for everyone to have two cups.A appetizer the fried beef tendon is also quite a new experience~ never had that before.The sugar glazed tiger shrimp looks so appetizing! Well flavored! You need to eat it while it is hot.We also ordered panfried noodle with seafood, eggyolk fish fillet, and a vege. It costs ~$29 per person

We wanna have some soup in the rainy day, pork belly soup is authentic, but a little bit salty. however the spicy chicken hot pot surprised us. The price is a little bit beyond our expectation.

This place is located in an ordinary stripe mall and has an inconspicuous exterior, but its interior is modern-looking, open and inviting. The style is Chinese Asian fusion with some influence from Thai, Indonesia, and Malaysia cuisines. The main attraction here is the hot pot. However, distinct from typical Chinese hotpot restaurants, this place features, in their own words, Two Ways In One Pot; where you start with an aromatic sizzling pot and end with a rich simmering broth.The raw food is noticeably fresher than similar hotpot places, and the price is also above average. However, the large portion justifies the price. I went to this place twice, once with my wife, and once with three other adults and a toddler. Both times we ordered the recommended amount, but neither time were we able to finish everything. Besides hotpot, we also ordered some entries. They were delicious, not by a hotpot place standard, but by what I normally expect from an authentic Chinese/Asian restaurant. Overall, I enjoyed my experience there both times, and I would recommend this place to my friends, especially if they have not tried Two Ways in One Pot before.

Surprised by the flavor, even with the portion smaller than expected. The menu really contains a lot of creative dishes, will come back and try more.

Amazing legit Cantonese food, especially the hog maw chicken pot! The decorations and furniture are all simple elegant tasteful designs. Service was super attentive, even bringing extra napkins and water without us asking. Truly a hidden gem!

Visited on friends recommendation. Entered at opening hour 11am but waited 15 min. for them to set up. Soup is very good, Ingredients are fresh. The overall impression deserve 4 stars. But high price, including separate order of beef noodles, cost them one star and we went there with discount from posting their pictures on our chat group.

White peppercorn chicken soup is delicious. But pricy for the portion, even after discount. Black pepper shrimp and egg yolk dishes are also good.

Love this place! The real deal! Wonderful choices, authentic Asian food, I want to try everything here! I wish I could eat the whole restaurant! Yummmy!
