2023-10-21 19:52:58We really enjoyed the Indian, Malaysian, singaporean food, it was delicious. We ordered garlic prata, chicken 65, samosa, fried cauliflower, vegetable curry, and chicken biryani. Everything was tasty. They dont have menus and you use your phone camera to scan the code which takes you to the menu. I personally like looking at a menu rather than my phone, but thats just my personal preference. We arrived about half hour before they were closing so we ordered quickly and food came out fast. Felt a little bit rushed but it was a Friday night and Im sure they wanted to go home. For two people we spent with tax and tip a little over $80. The food is tasty and delicious and we had leftovers and probably had enough food for 3 or 4 people.

2022-05-08 22:32:24It is a nice and clean place. Nothing fancy. Service was good. They were patient with the water spills made by toddlers. My personal favorite is Mutton Soup and is a must try. Singaporean Chicken Fried rice and noodles was also good. The only thing to note is after ordering it took more than normal time for the food to come out. But, they make it fresh so no complaints.

2023-02-05 06:50:38A restaurant that you can try a great variety of authentic and delicious Indian/Singaporeans/Indonesian/Malaysian cuisine. The staff are courteous and helpful when ordering. The atmosphere is suitable for dating or a family gathering. We tried Mutton murtabak, Nasir goring Pattaya, ghee cone dosa, prawn/butter chicken masala and mee goreng. Each dish has its unique taste and is an adventure in itself. The mango Lassi (regular style) was wonderful, too. The price is fair.

2022-04-06 08:30:48I seldom leave one or two star reviews. When I do it’s merited. I’ve spent 30 years in food service and running fine dining restaurants. So I think I leave pretty fair and balanced reviews. I came here with a pretty open mind. I know it’s not fast food but also not fine dining. I was pretty disappointed. Overall the two redeeming qualities were 1. It was super clean inside and appealing in terms of decor. And 2. the garlic prata bread was hot fresh and delicious. Even if it did come at the very end of the meal when it was almost kind of pointless. In summary:1. We came at 7:10 and watched the server turn away a diner a mere 10-15 minutes later. They don’t close till 8. This is bad business. If you’re so concerned about getting out right when you close at 8 then post your closing time at 7:30. If I was that guy I would never come back. It’s not like they were dead, they had two other dining families besides us who basically just arrived.2. Where to start with the food. It just wasn’t very good at all. First of all it took forever. It’s like they have one person back there cooking who makes one plate at a time. We were three people and ordered 2 dishes and one noodle so that we can all share. They brought the dishes out one at a time with like 15 minute increments in between. The bread came near the end. The portions were weird. We got a plate with rice on 1/2 and what looks like a big scoop of sauce with some ingredients in it on the other. Certainly not like a full size portion. I ordered Indian chai tea and it took forever to get it. I had to ask three times. Does it take half an hour to make one cup of tea? No. The tamarind sauce was watery and had a weird sour taste to it. The curry sauce on our mushroom curry, the vegan vegetable dish and the sauce with the garlic prata all looked and tasted like the exact same yellow curry even though they were described differently. Only ok.. samosas were OK but cold inside. I grew up eating Dutch Indonesian and Malaysian food and have been an Indian food fanatic for 25 years so Im super familiar with the food. This fell short.3. The service just kind of sucked. I don’t know if she was shy, inexperienced or didn’t really care but we didn’t get really greeted or seated when we came in, when she refilled water for one person she didn’t bother refilling for the rest of us, everything took forever to get and she never followed up with getting things we asked for till we asked two or three times, turned away people before they were closed, and at the end when she brought our bill before we asked for it we gave her the credit card she walked away and made us go up to the register to pay instead of just taking it with her. She never upsold or offered us any dessert or cappuccinos or any specialty items on their menu. She could’ve gotten a lot more money out of us, both in sales and tip. Its a bummer because this place came recommended. But Ill be sticking with Bhanu for my local Indian fix...

2020-08-25 17:51:58As a fellow Singaporean, I highly recommend Prata House. Their prata is comparable to its Singapore flavor. My sons love their cheese & egg prata, and butter chicken masala. I love the chicken Mutabak, remind me of the time growing up in Singapore. If you like Mutton, they do have that option. I also tried their Curry puff, it is pack with curry spices, very flavorful and slightly spicy, too bad when I buy it to go, the crust is not as crunchy as when you eat it there. As for the drink, Milo Dinosaur, all time favorite, for kids and adults.

2022-05-13 06:29:53We visited in a small group of six adults and kids. Its close to our location and has plenty of parking. The location is quite well-organized, and the employees is extremely kind. The order is completed quickly. There are more vegetarian options available.Traditional Indian samosas are my favorite.Biryani is acceptable, but it is not an authentic method of cooking. The fried rice disappointed us; it was pretty basic and not worth trying.Pratas are delicious.Mutton soup is delicious. The mango lassi is genuine.Churros are also tasty.

2021-03-02 23:59:31Great service and food! We came here last Saturday for lunch and it was pretty much empty. We sat outside on a table and the server (a really nice young lady) kept checking on us. Food was awesome, hit the spot for us! I’m really glad we drove 45 mins to get my prata fix. We got plain prata, bee hoon goreng, and gobi 65. Way too much food for 2 adults and a toddler and we ended up bringing home some leftovers. We’ve came here a few times in the past and I kept forgetting to write a review for these guys. Definitely my go-to for authentic Singaporean/Malaysian prata!

2022-02-26 17:24:52I can’t believe I’ve been in west co for so long and haven’t tried this place. I had the Bezawada Briyani, samosa’s, garlic prata and chicken tiki masala. All were excellent. The samosa’s were huge and filled. Delicious meal.

2019-10-02 03:12:48Wow. Really impressed with the mutton biryani ... lots of spice, flavor, umami with cut boiled egg halves on top and free small side of curry. Delicious! Def reminds me of the plentiful and tasty meals like this when I visited Malaysia a couple years back. And I read the coin Prata were good... a little sweet, tons of comfort food vibe. Wow. Can’t wait to show people this spot!

2023-07-09 20:34:53I’m not exaggerating when I say that Prata House is like no other restaurant in the area.If you like Indian, Malaysian, Thai, or Indonesian food and are looking for something unique to try, you can’t go wrong. I usually go for the Kothu Prata, but their curry’s are also phenomenal.Check it out, you won’t regret it!
