Really impressed with how well this place has come together. Was so excited to have a New York style pizza place so close to home. The service here is incredible with super nice staff! The pizza is really great and I love that they offer slices. I personally love the cheese pizza and the white sauce pizza. Definitely recommend!!! Love supporting new businesses in Altadena!!! Love the patio it’s a super comfortable casual place to hangout!!

We were sad when we learned Patticakes was no longer going to be our bakery in the corner, but were optimistic about this pizza place coming in. We waited and waited and waited for them to open. When they finally did, we were ecstatic about their pizza.Prime Pizza has become my favorite pizza parlor in just two visits. Ive tried 5 of their creations and have enjoyed every one almost identically, which is hard for me because Im a staunch pepperoni pizza lover, yet I loved their other flavors all the same. Now when I visit its hard for me to decide which slice to get. Luckily the slices are large and can be shared easily without feeling youve given it away.We ordered b by the slice. They crisp it in the over perfectly and serve it nice and hot, but ready to eat. Their crusts are perfectly crunchy and nice, and not greasy or heavy, and not too thick.The cookies are my favorite as well. They are chocolate chips with a hint of oats mixed in; but most importantly, they arent overloaded with chocolate, so they arent overly sweet. For me, that makes them really enjoyable. The pizza, salad, and drink are a good deal as well.The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and they always smile and greet you and make sure your have everything you need to enjoy your meal.Overall, I could taste the quality of ingredients, and I didnt feel sluggish or heavy after eating there.Im not a pizza snob. I very much enjoy Blaze Pizza, Little Ceasars, and some of the other guys, even Sbarros, but Prime Pizza, for me, is my favorite parlor hands down.

Went for a quick bite. I order a slice of square grandma. Pricing was decent. The crust on this was crunchy! The sauce was flavorful. Highly recommended.

Honestly, its mid. love a good pizza by the slice place but they served it to us cold, right off the display trays. price on point, like $23 for 4 slices and 2 drinks. the flavor was decent, the square slices are actually pretty good. outdoor seating is super cute/inviting and the waitstaff is attentive. branding is super hip, but unfortunately i think id wear the t-shirts they have for sale before i make it a point to eat another slice here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We had the pleasure of trying Prime Pizza this week. Yes the wait was long but the pizza was hot & delicious. We will definitely back. The atmosphere was cozy, we don’t mind sharing tables with others & if you want to try this place get comfortable with meeting your neighbors.Give this place your business, they are working hard & bringing something splendid to the area. Great job Prime Pizza team!

Ok, so you wont make it home until late or you just dont want to cook but you want a meal that mom or grandma might be proud of if Pizza is a meal then you have to go to Prime and no Not Deion Sanders. This place is Outstanding. Dont worry about the wait just enjoy the back east taste and if you like spicy get the spicy pepperoni pizza 😋

I consider myself a pizza snob, Ive tried many different pizza places only to be unimpressed. I had my go to pizza place for many years because I crave an authentic Italian taste. Today my go to pizza place has been replaced 🙂Prime pizza I ordered your Sicilian style tonight for dinner...it was beyond delicious. So happy to have you as my neighbor. I will definitely be back. Id give you 10 stars if I could.

Solid pizza joint dishing up Sicilian style pizzas. Good stuff, its a small chain with seven locations. I was delighted. They have limited outdoor seating.

A good local pizza place, seems to cater to by the slice patrons. But that may just be a lunch thing. The outside patio is large and mostly shaded. No interior sitting. They could use some fans for those extremely hot LA days. But its a quick easy lunch stop.

I tried their pepperoni pizza. While I may not be a pizza connoisseur, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The flavors were delicious, and the service was excellent. I give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars for a fantastic pizza experience!

Wow, arrived at 5:15 on a Friday afternoon. Wanted to order 2 pizzas and was told it would take an hour and a half. I said no way however my wife said lets try pizza by the slice. So with that, we got in a by the slice line. We ordered 4 pepperoni slices and 2 Sicilian slices. The pizza slices are out to see and choose. Once ordered, your slices are put in a quick heat oven. There were NO extra toppings listed on the menu. You get what THEY make on the pizza. $37 later and eating back home, completely unimpressed. Really wanted this to be great, very disappointed and wont return.

I highly recommend the chicken parmigiana on the toasted roll - it was freshly made and quite flavorful.The pizza looked really good, which they sell by the slice, besides the 18” and square sizes.
