2023-12-05 20:45:03I got my orders from here from uber eats so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. But the food is great. I got multiple vegetarian dishes and would recommend this place as a great vegetarian restaurant (but they have meat dishes too). Do yourself a favor and get the dinner combos instead of the one plate. It comes with an assortment of things to try and is very much worth the extra money.

2023-04-21 03:41:04We were on our return trip from mt. Shasta and found this place nearby and economical. Dinner buffet was Available so we choose veg and non veg dinner buffet.Only chicken leg piece was tasty anc cauliflower pickle was good and tasty in veg option. The ambience, friendly staff were all good but I would highly suggest to change the chef or improvise the taste.Mutton and potato curry: Mutton or lamb pieces were very small and all I saw was potato and nothing else. Food tasted and smelt stale. Please serve fresh food for your customers.Dinner buffet was $19/person.Also, the buffet was closed by 8pm sharp.Restroom is also available.I feel sorry to write this honest review but I had to in hope that you will try to improvise the taste or change the chef and staff to see an improvement.

2023-04-22 04:34:56Please stay away from here.Worst chicken ever. Very hard to chew. Who in the world will cook a chicken 65 and chili chicken in non chewable way. I had chicken 65 and chili chicken in many places within usa, but this is far worst.By the way, its for sure old chicken, expired product for sure, as inside the chicken it looks black.Even if they give it for free, throw it away.

2023-01-14 03:59:37Unfortunately, my experience was just mediocre. The food selection in buffet was limited and not very fresh. The dishes seemed to have been sitting out for a while, and the flavors were not very bold or authentic. The staff was friendly, but the service was slow.Overall, I was disappointed. The food and service were just okay.

2023-10-22 20:25:51Food was amazing. Got the lamb vindaloo full dinner, the curry was spicy, the lamb was super tender with great gamey flavor, and all the sides and the little dessert portion that came with it made it feel like a feast. The chili pakora was also excellent. I was only in the restaurant for a moment to pick up my food but staff was super polite and friendly. I also greatly appreciate the fact that the food was ready around the estimated pickup time (most places I have to add an extra 15-20 minutes). Cant wait to go back!

2023-11-26 07:58:43I recently dined at Priya Indian Cuisine in Redding, California, opting for the dinner buffet after a day trip to Mount Shasta. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The chicken, lamb curry, and chicken tandoori from the buffet seemed to lack freshness and carried an unpleasant odor, suggesting they might have been sitting for an extended period. The flavors of the dishes were muted, and it felt like the food had lost its vibrancy. Its crucial for any restaurant, especially one offering a buffet, to ensure that the dishes are regularly refreshed to maintain quality. I hope this feedback can assist both potential customers in making informed choices and the restaurant in enhancing the freshness and taste of their offerings.Constructive feedback is vital for improvement, and I trust that Priya Indian Cuisine will take this input into consideration to elevate the dining experience for future patrons.

2021-12-23 21:53:45Very authentic and delicious food! The buffet contains a variety of both vegetarian and non-veg options. Everything looks freshly cooked and the place is clean and welcoming. The music is just at the right volume, and creates the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the food and allow conversations with your companions

2023-11-20 21:30:04The food here is terrible. We ordered more than 10 items and didn’t find anything worth having. There was also this surprising incident when we ordered sambhar and it felt too diluted, complained about it, and the guy was back out in 1 min with thicker sambhar (still very bland though). Had to return it cause it wasn’t decent at all. All drinks were terrible too. Naan was decent and chhole were decent. Paneer curries were not good again. Would not recommend having food here.Restrooms had a weird smell too.

2022-07-05 17:15:02We visited Priya on our way back. After reading some reviews we had good expectations. They offer lunch buffet 7 days a week with really sad looking lunch items. The salad was probably a day old, they didn’t look fresh. Naan was hard. Rice tray was filled with bare minimum and the remaining rice on the tray was hardened after being continuously heated. Curries tasted okay. Lemon rice wasn’t fresh. We also ordered Gobi Manchurian and it was not fresh. It seemed the gobi had been done previously and it had a foul smell. We left everything as is.I would NOT visit again.

2023-07-04 23:34:00My food experience at PRIYA Indian Cuisine was acceptable, but it fell short of my expectations. While the ambiance and service were commendable, the disappointing flavor profiles and lackluster execution of certain dishes left me underwhelmed. I would recommend the restaurant with caution, especially if you have high culinary expectations. It might be worth exploring other options in the area that offer a more consistent and satisfying dining experience.
