Ridiculous prices on their food so do not come here hungry very nice amenity to be served kind of like Las Vegas but unlike Las Vegas theres two service charges that add up to at least $7 considering the ticket is 12 to $15 and all I wanted was an order of fries and a Coke I decided to go to the bar and order them myself the next thing I know I have a double order coming at me and no way for me to get my money back so that tells you a lot about a place service is everything, but this place is out of control
This was our first time doing the dinner theater. Food was better than we expected, Drinks were original and facilities were spot on. Chairs were bonus comfortable.

Excellent vibes. Seats are comfortable. The seat serving is a bit annoying. I prefer to order and take my food before the movie than be interrupted multiple times during the movie .
This theater sucks. The food sucks. The recline seats arent even heated. They charge you a service fee to order food from the bar next door. Take note, if you want food, its the only option as the theater itself only has popcorn, maybe candy but I forget. The food is overpriced and bland. Only one person in my party of 6 liked their food, a hotdog. They charge a service to purchase tickets from their website. To top it all off, not a single stall in the girls restroom had toilet paper. If this is luxury, Ill pass. Best theatre folks, make no mistake about it, ICON.
Good theatre with reclining seats. One can order food and drinks within the theatre and its delivered to the seats. However the food is a bit pricey. $8 for chips and pickles is excessive.
Went to this theater for the first time. Now mind you I havent been to a movie theater and probably years and my theyre not the same. its kind of nice to see movie theater that at least seem to be catering to the more lets say mature audience or clientele. almost like watching in your easy chair in your own living room only with food delivered to your lounge chair and overall pretty cool experience. Of course is any good movie or nose proper seating is is a must so if you do decide to attend the theater try and get a seat you get something in the middle and not too far from the screen, not to Too Close or so are my preferences. For me, too close and I end up with what I call the craning neck syndrome. On the other hand too far or off to the side and one can lose the big screen experience and thats like they got four stars for me because I thought the sound quality could be better otherwise liked it wasnt crowded services reasonable, located the Supreme Pruneyard theres the opportunity for dinner before a date night any host of combinations. I guess you cant really go wrong with a movie theater that has easy chair or table services if you will, with a full bar including cocktails, beer, and soft drinks an actual menu to order food from including healthy options. the normal accompaniment of that delicious but so bad dear food called a snack bar. So its a theater and a little bit more! Enjoy! bit more.. by the way we were we went to see the new Avatar movie and loved it!
Fantastic small movie theater. Usually has a good movie selection and good food options. Its inside an outdoor mall so there are plenty of food options outside the movie theater as well.
A small place located among nice restaurants in the shopping centre. Walking in that area feels magical at night with all the lights.They let you in after checking the vaccination proof. Also take the temperature before entering. Hand over menus to order from.Inside the usual stuff.Overall good experience.
This venue is quite special. The entire theater has Logue seating, extra wide, very comfortable, recliners, w/food trays built in and food service available. The aisles and space between the rows is wide allowing for easy entry and exit. This also means that there are fewer viewers in the theater, which creates its own advantages, but if you book seats online or over the phone you may want to keep in mind that Row E is about half way towards the back of the building. Oh... The movie was in 3-D with terrific sound and picture. In summary, Have a great time, I did. A definite 5 Star occasion.
Small theaters with large screens. Comfy seats, very clean. You order from a good size menu and they deliver to your seats - including drinks. Loved that the movie wasn’t painfully loud like some theaters can be. Parking was easy and free. Safe area with lots of shops and restaurants around.
Theater is great except for a couple of things 1. No heated seats so bring a blanket, 2. The teriyaki chicken bowl was amazing we just wished they had an option box to request less rice, no rice, and more broccoli-less chicken or vegetables-only-no-chicken for vegetarians.

Comfortable enough theater, and the fact that drinks and food come to you is really convenient, but its appalling to charge a 20% service fee and then ask for a tip on top. Either charge the fee, or ask for a tip.
Wow this theatre has made quite the transformation over the years. Newly remodeled foyer, concession stand and the theatre itself. The seats are comfy and recline if you like them to, video and audio quality of films is great as well.If you like, there is a bar where you can grab cocktails and food is prepared for you upon request. You can also request an attendant during a film to order food. I really enjoy coming here
We got a broken chair for the show at 9:30pm. Its been a small room and most of the seats were sold. We asked at the popcorn desk for assistance 20 minutes before the move started. An employee promised to find someone to sort the problem out but nobody showed. There has been no one else to ask for help. This place looks like a business where nobody cares about customers.
A very nice theater experience. We ordered dinner from our seats, the food was delicious and the service was great.The young people serving were awesome, they worked hard throughout the movie and didnt disturb anyone.
Ordering food from your seats is cool. Pretty quick service and a the markup makes sense given the location and the quality of the theater.The movie experience was TERRIBLE. We went to see Thor: Love and Thunder and could barely hear the background music. It completely robbed all the atmosphere from the movie. Straining to hear Guns N’ Roses doesn’t make sense, it’s literally easier to hear in the commercial than it is in this theater. This is also not an isolated issue. We went to see Bob’s Burgers the musical and had the same problem. I’m super bummed about Thor, wife and I had been looking forward to it for awhile now.

Nice experience for a night out. A little pricey, and a very good, not great, theater experience. But good quality food and drinks served to your deep reclining chair. And, a live music venue on the scene. Well be back!

What a great theatre experience. Try the monthly Culinary Cinema! Three course meals matched to the theme of the featured movie. You kick back in the plush recliners with a tray and are served throughout the movie. Cocktails and drinks from the Cedar Room up front are available also and are great.
Nice theater with tasty food and great service. The screen 2 room had a leak, but hopefully theyll catch a break from all the rain were having this winter and be able to fix it soon.
This is a very enjoyable place to see a movie. The dine-in options are delicious, but be aware they only start serving after 3:00 now. I would recommend for arriving a few minutes early so that your food will arrive before the movie begins. I ordered carne asada nachos and found them very difficult to eat once the lights went out!
Went here to see Dr Strange, movie was terrible, but my wife and I love the service here. The waiters are super nice, and the service is really efficient. They have reclining seats, and you can order from a lunch and dinner menu at your seat. Very efficient and accommodating.
Edited: I did get my money refunded. Next time we went we had superb service. So, maybe it was just a fluke/off day?We ordered the dine in service once in the theater. After ordering they informed us that two items were out of stock. Then it took over 45 minutes for popcorn to be delivered - I actually had to go out and pick it up myself. I asked for it to be comped since the movie was more than halfway over at that point and it had taken so long to come. They agreed. However, when the bill came we were charged for the popcorn, and all of the items that werent available! I asked for them to be credited back and the person said oh yes they will be but I dont have faith it is going to actually happen as I never saw the final receipt. Buyer be ware....
Very Boutique theater as far as size goes oh, but the seating and comfort is top-notch, and the food that you can order from your seat is also really spectacular. Just be aware that it is extremely expensive for the food and drinks and they automatically tack on a 20% service charge which is super painful, especially since that is not the same as the gratuity.
This was a pretty cool experience. Great recliner chairs, trays, cup holders. Reserved seating and they serve you. Food is ok, a bit on the pricey side. Drinks were pretty awful though, not mixed well at all, apparently they have new bar tenders. Staff is friendly and considerate. They have a concession stand if you want popcorn and a drink.
Awesome movie experience! The food is excellent. I would highly recommend the Chicken Nachos and the Italian Sausage and pepperoni pizza.
We love this theater! They do out of the box things like the comedy shows and culinary cinema. It would be 5 stars but the restrooms are not good.
I love coming here with my family. Whether it be just my son and I or my wife and all 3 boys. This is what we call our luxery outting... They have a great dinner menu that you can order right from your movie seat. (which is all assigned seating now). I suggest getting there early enough to order, get and eat your food before show starts. It gets pretty dark in there when the movie starts. Its much nicer to see what youre trying to pick up w your fork vs blind stabbing. 😆
The seats are nice, recliners with tables. Liked the idea of having a wait staff. Theaters are still pretty small with limited seating. The menu is not much of casual dining. Nothing on the menu really that kids would enjoy. But I went by myself and enjoyed a glass of wine. Would be a good date night theater...not really for the family in my opinion.
This theater is so nice and clean. The lounge chairs have so much space between the rows and they recline back pretty far. The tray connected to the seat makes it convenient to eat food that you order and they deliver right to your seat. I recommend that you order 30 minutes before the credits start so that you can actually see your food and can make sure the utensils and dishes are clean. My husbands menu had gum stuck to it, but the server took it away. The margherita pizza and 4 cheese mac n cheese were good. The fried pickles were the best weve ever had- thick fried coat and delicious dip. I really enjoyed my brown sugar lemonade. My hubbys ginger ale was very gingery. The service and food were good and the seating is better than Century theaters loungers. Well come back- this will be our go-to theater from now on.
We had a great night at the Pruneyard Cinema. The staff are very attentive and super friendly. They provided great service through-out the movie. The reclining seats are so comfortable! It was so fun to get back to the theater to watch a movie on the big screen. And have dinner and drinks during the movie too.
This place was impressive. Why? I was able to order food/drink from my seat in the theater! I had the Verve coffee cold brew. My friends enjoyed a hot dog. There was a alcoholic menu themed after the Marvel Avengers (the current blockbuster). Nice touch. The seats are those recliner types. I was happy.
Absolutely amazing. It was so nice and comfortable I started to fall asleep and the wife had to snap me out of it. And no it was not because the movie sucked. The seats were like heaven. They were leather, reclining, a table for food and a button to call for food and drinks. Great Beer 🍺.Cant wait to go see another movie.

This place is awesome! Great bar upfront smaller theater but its clean seats are comfortable and you can get food service to your seat its great! I was skeptical on how good the food would be but I enjoyed it. I had the Mac and cheese and it was good the couple next to me had other items and they both looked good too! Better than regular theater food
The experience is very nice but for two people, to eat and have a couple of drinks and the movie was about $200 if not more. It is outrageously expensive, and mandatory 20% gratuity included, its a once in a lifetime experience if you like going to movies, watch them at home.
The seats are so comfortable and the dining experience just puts everything over the top. We always first check this place before anywhere else and we go to movies almost every week.
I really wanted to enjoy this experience. My husband and I watched the 12:30 showing of A Simple Favor yesterday. It was our first time at the movie theater since the remodel and we were looking forward to a fun experience. When my husband and I arrived, there was no one checking tickets. We bypassed the concessions because we were eager to try ordering from our seats. We found our own way to our theater and took our seats, which were quite comfortable. We reviewed the menus and pressed our button for service. Servers came in and out of the theater but no one came to check on us. We finally flagged down a young lady who told us she was not a server and would send our server in, but he/she never arrived. My husband offered to get concessions mid movie, but that defeated the entire purpose of selecting a dine in theater. In addition to no service, the women seated next to us brought in their own buffet and drinks, complete with crinkly, noisy wrappers. Perhaps they knew something we didnt... This seems like a great concept, but we left feeling disappointed. Hopefully, someone is trying to work out the kinks.
You can drink a cocktail at the movies now. I didnt, but you can not only enjoy a cocktail but have food brought right to your magically delicious comfortable seat.
I loved the service. Printing out youre tickets was easy. Great seating, and great amount of popcorn for the price. A good selection of beer. Like the fries I had, but the sandwhich was decent. I would have to try more of the food there. Small theater, yet comfortable.
In mid-October, we finally went to the movies and it was terrific! I enjoyed the big comfy reclining seats, popcorn and especially loved seeing the new James Bond movie with a crowd of happy people! Im very thankful that this local gem survived the pandemic and that we can get back to HAVING FUN!
The dining part is AMAZING. Also....the white cheddar popcorn is the best popcorn Ive ever had. Ive NEVER brought popcorn home from the theater but I sure did tonight! Service is great, drinks are incredible, food is awesome, seats recline almost too far...what more could you want??? Can all movies be like this? Is this the real life? Or is it fantasy?
Ceder Room was nice. Great cocktail selection, awesome customer service. Not a fan of the cocktail service to seat inside the theater. Especially when the film is on. I would suggest doing a last call and have the patrons pay the check after each item purchased. I dont need to see a server returning back blocking my view of the screen for a signature on the check.
This place is amazing!! An older theatre but it’s perfect for dinner, drinks and a movie.The food is tasty with options of regular movie food goodies. Great variety of drinks, everything is brought in while you enjoy your show. The Cedar Room is worth checking out if you’re early and don’t worry.. you can bring your drinks in with you when the movie gets ready to start.

Recliners with food and beer delivered to you seat. Ticket prices are reasonable. Reserved seating is nice. Bar area is great with high-end craft beer selection and craft cocktails. Pay a bit of a premium for food and drink to the seats but well worth it in my opinion.

Fixed up really nice. A little overboard for a movie theater (my opinion). Full menu, order from your seat. Very comfortable seats easy to go to sleep. Only thing is the mens restroom is still upstairs. With my knees it was tough going up and down the steps. There are non gender restrooms on the main floor but always a line. Over all good experience.
This place is awesome! I went to see the new Wreck-It Ralph 2 movie with my son and his friend. So we had went to two other movie theaters and they were sold out and when we arrived here they only had two seats available in the disabled section a seat and a place for a wheelchair. So explained to the asst.manager about how we been to two other movie theaters and I asked if I could sit on the floor in the spot for the wheelchair. He was hesitant then said he didnt feel right charging me and would allow me in on the condition if a person came in with a wheelchair Id have to move. I said no problem. So he let me in, he didnt charge me for the ticket, and all three of us went to the movies for the price of one ticket. So super cool...then on top of that he was so sweet and brought me a chair. I was floored such amazing customer service. They also have servers who take food and drink orders then deliver to your seats. Super cool experience.
Great newly remodeled theater. I love that you can just sit in your seats and they will bring you food and drinks. The recliners are super comfortable and clean. The popcorn is amazing. The only issue is that during the movie it is hard to see what you are eating because its so dark. Definitely our new favorite theater. It is a small theater complex so they dont have a huge selection of movies to see, but they seem to have the new box office hits. Hopefully, they will stay busy and keep making improvements.
I’m normally not one to leave a negative review for a local business I want to see thrive, but my experience at the Pruneyard Cinemas tonight was so bizarrely off-putting that I must encourage others to stay away until they get it together.I met up with two friends about an hour before our scheduled showtime for The Green Knight. We decided to grab drinks and snacks at Cedar Room, the restaurant/bar attached to Pruneyard Cinemas that provides all their food and drink. We got seated fine, the waiter seemed friendly enough, but after 20 minutes of waiting we still hadn’t been checked in on or placed an order. One of my friends went to the bar to see if he could just directly place his drink order, as it was getting somewhat close to our showtime and we didn’t want to rush. He was turned away and told they don’t serve people at the bar. Weird, but slightly understandable given COVID. At that point it was twenty minutes to our showtime so we decided to just go in and order from our seats.This is when things got particularly bad. The ticket checker was incredibly rude. I don’t want to disparage working class people, I’ve worked the same exact job before (at the same theater to boot back when it was Camera 7), so I get not liking your job. But hostility towards customers isn’t going to make it any easier. They have a sign upfront saying “proof of vaccination required.” There is no indication that this is a future policy that starts next week, so my friend immediately pulled out his vaccination card to show the ticket checker. He just stared blankly and rudely said with an edge, “I need your tickets.” That particular friend had bought his ticket with me so they were both on my phone so I say no problem, pull them up, and show him the barcode that was sent to me when I bought the tickets and he just… stares at me. I wait a moment then ask “Do you like need to scan it or something?” He responds coldly “That’s only two tickets,” and then stares coldly at my other friend (who had already pulled up his own ticket on his phone). I tell ticket man that friend has his own and we go to the theater. Poor worker morale is the first sign of a bad business and this dude’s mood very much started telling me a story about this place.My next issue comes when we finally get to place our drink orders. The beer I had my eye on in the Cedar Room was not on the list for Pruneyard Cinemas. When I inquired about this, the waitress (very kind, very friendly) went to find out and for some reason I still do not understand at all, there’s just certain beers they don’t deliver to the theater. Apparently if I had ordered it in Cedar Room myself I could have walked to my theater seat with it, but ordering that beer from my seat was impossible. This makes NO sense and is just a convoluted frustrating structure.While placing our food orders our nice waitress had trouble finding a few food items on her electronic device and mentioned “they’re always changing stuff on us and not telling.” Poor communication is another sign of a poorly run business. The food came out bizarrely fast. Like, one of my friends was still ordering when my other friend’s order came out. Normally this would be cool, but the quality is abysmal and I’m sure the quick and careless preparation is reflective of that. I strongly suspect that are misrepresenting menu items as well. I ordered the chicken strips and mac and cheese. The chicken strips tasted like Tyson’s frozen chicken strips and the mac and cheese tasted so straight up like Velveeta that I’m near positive that it IS Velveeta and not whatever three cheese blend they’re claiming. The food wasn’t just not quality, it was BAD.My final complaint, and the absolute deal breaker of why I will not be coming back, there is sound bleed. All throughout our movie we could clearly hear dialogue and sound effects from Stillwater. Sound bleed has been a known issue since this was Camera 7 (I knew about it when I worked there) and it was never fixed with the renovations. Super disappointing.
Went for comedy originally, but have been since for movies. Get the fried pickle spears, also their fries are pretty great in a steakhouse type way. I got the zombie cocktail, it was a bit sweet, but strong.
Great movie experience! Prices per seat arent much more than the traditional theaters around but here you can get in-seat food and drink service. The food prices are a bit high but the food is good. Be mindful that there is a service charge, in our case it was $11.20 on a bill that included 1 appetizer, 2 entree and 2 drinks for s total bill of $74. This could have been better spent going out to dinner before the movie but when pressed for time (in-laws watching little one) this is a sure time saver. Overall its a great place for watching a movie and getting something to eat brought to you. Oh and did I mention that the seats recline?
This theater is great. Everything is wonderful. Staff is awesome. Its not *cheap*. It is worth the extra. Great for a date night. Weve only done as a family date. And its been worth every $$$.
A neat spot! The prices are pretty on par for other fancy theaters in the area (~$14-$16) with Tuesdays being $8 all day. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was surprisingly not too distracting with the staff moving around during the movie delivering things, though maybe during a scary movie my feelings would be different. Service to your seat is a bit expensive but definitely a nice treat every once in a while.
Great updates to the theatre! Great food, great drinks delivered right to your seat. It’s still annoying that the men’s room is upstairs. Plus there are less seats now so movies sell out way more often. On the plus side, you can pick your seats, and even the front row isn’t bad.
Nice overall experience except for food and drink service. We were in the first row, so it was more comfortable to be leaning back (had no choice in where we were seated). Ordered food and drinks. I paid cash and was not given a receipt (until after the movie, when I got it). The drinks were slow to come, the order mixed up, and a replacement was slower still in coming. I would return again, but bring food in from the concession stand or partner restaurant rather than have a stream of interruptions, wrong deliveries, and a lack of receipt - truly terrible service AND they build in a 20% tip.The other two people I was with complained that the seats were not comfortable due to the huge head rest pillows. Neither of them are open to returning.Hope they can make a go of the newly refurbished movie theater.
Omg! What a different way to experience watching movies. They serve you anytime during the film by pressing a button on the reclining chairs. The food is restaurant quality for the most part. Can order most any type of cocktail. Also on Tuesdays the tickets are $8. You cant beat that! They have a full bar inside if you want to drink and eat. I mean how can anyone not like it. The food is a bit expensive but not much than buying from other theaters that sell just hotdogs and chicken tender. Actually their food quality is better. I ordered some curry noodles, mac and cheese and pizza. The only thing I noticed is when you do order a beer make sure that its the right size and price. This has been the second time I noticed I ordered a beer and the size Im getting is different, actually less, from what it says. It says its 13 oz but I,m given a 10 oz. Next time I will have to say something. Maybe they made a mistake? Or maybe they need to change what it says on the menu.
Always a great experience at this theater! Very easy to walk in and buy your ticket at the kiosk. There is food service from your seat in the theater. New seats are comfortable and they recline for superior comfort. Highly recommend a visit to this theater!
Amazing movie experience. Not only do they have reclining leather seats, but they take it a step further and offer watier service before and during the movie. The food is actually good! They also have beer, wine, cider, and a selection of cocktails. Popcorn buckets are huge. Be sure to reserve your seats well in advance, since they have fewer seats and many of the showings sell out. I recommend the chicken nachos and the hard apple cider, but everything we tried was good. They did the lights during the movie low enough where you can see your food but also enjoy the movie. Even the front row isnt bad, since you can recline to get a better angle of the screen.
Comfortable recliners and killer sound in most of the theaters. Very little audible distortion. Only downside is there is sometimes bleed through from adjacent movies (dont remember which room).The food is reasonable priced and the portions are good sized.

The prune yard is an upscale cinema experience where you can order food to be delivered to your chair. Each chair is fully reclinable so you can basically lie down for the film, which is trouble for those easily lulled to sleep by a dark cinema.The problem comes from the quality of the food however as it is very disappointing. The interesting popcorn flavours just leave you wanting real popcorn and the drinks are pretty small. The hot food isn’t of a very high quality but its not disgusting, good for an easy meal and the price isn’t terrible.All in all it’s an interesting cinema experience.
I enjoy pruneyard cinemas, it was nice that your order of popcorn, and a glass of wine 🍷 and anything else you need from the concessions or the bar is brought to you. And chairs are so comfortable and relaxing
We like being able to order the food and drinks at the chair. Not alot of explanation on their website about this and it would have been better to understand how to order, what to expect as far as how long to get the food etc. The process is actually very simple with just pushing a call button and a staff member shows up right away to take your order. There is a 20% service fee. Food is good and the drinks are well made.
I will not go anywhere else for a movie! I Love the table service to my recliner in the theater. The menu is decent and I love how they have special featured food based on the biggest movie at the time, like thanos nachos when avengers end game came out.

Not just your average popcorn, candy and soda, which they do have, but real food and a lovely full service bar! A whole new experience in movie viewing!!
Food was fantastic the first time we came here. They have since changed the menu. Now the food is still good, but not noteworthy. Still rating 5 for the awesome setup with the reclining chairs, and hopefully theyll change their menu again and include items like flourless chocolate cake.
We have been to the Pruneyard Cinemas twice and both times have been a pleasure. The reclining chairs are better than anything I have at home and the service is great. What is surprising is how good the food is. You just dont expect that in a movie theater.
The Pruneyard Cinemas is one of the best movie theater experiences that I have had this year. The seats are reserved ahead of time so you dont have to worry about bad seating as long as you get tickets ahead of time. Additionally, drinks and food can be ordered for your show from inside the theater via a button located in your chair. This is great if you enjoy a beverage or something nicer than popcorn during the movie. Finally, the ticket prices and show quality were great and equal to or better than many theaters I have attended recently. Treat yourself and check out this classy movie watching experience
Well, its pricey but the seats were comfy, not as wide or soft as the Century Theater in Mt. View but its 5 minutes from home and fine for once in a while. Ill eat elsewhere first tho til they realize they charge too much for the food service. Everyone should check it out and decide for themselves.
Cheap tickets on Tuesday! Strong drinks, great movies, fun times! The only negative would be that I wish they had more vegan options other than french fries.
Cool place to catch a flick. You can order food and beverages from your seat, but beware of the 20% service fee if all your getting is popcorn or a simple beverage. The food from the pup is good, and the chairs are adjustable and comfortable. Go check it out!

Great when opened. We were soooo excited to have this theatre in our neighbourhood to walk to. Lounge chairs, chair service, unique popcorn flavours, things were tight, smooth. Servers were polite and would almost crawl on the floor as not to distract others.We went again 2 weeks ago and it was horrible.Chairs are breaking down.The person at concession who mixed our popcorn put mounds of butter and seasoning clumped together. Yuck.Asked her to make it again and she did it the same way. Had to throw it away it was horrible.Womens restroom has raw sewage smell wofting up from the floor drain.So disheartening. back to mountain view to the century 16.
Cinemas were nice. Seats are comfortable. The Cedar Room food is not best, but there beer list is great. The deep fried pickle has too much bread to pickle ratio.
Ive been excited for this place to open ever since they announced it last year! Watching a movie while being waited on, and with good cocktails, is an experience that Ive had in other cities, but never at home, until now.d The seats are very comfortable (and adjustable), and the service is good and as unobtrusive as they can be. I think they still need to work a bit on making the food better (for example, the savory popcorn had clumps of flavoring instead of being sprinkled evenly throughout) and one of my cocktails came out only half full, but overall its a great opening and I intend to go here often!
This is the best. You can order food, drinks right at your seat. The lounge chair seats are amazing. Our family loves this place for family night.
Really nice makeover!! Comfortable seats, delicious food and prices that are theater reasonable. Try the wings with lemon grass sauce or the delicious hummus platter! What a great way to watch a movie! I felt like a king.
Love the new look and feel. Newly upgraded to individual seat reservations, in-theater food ordering. Menu is decent. Overall plaza has been revamped and feels nice. Parking is reasonably good.
Im editing my rating and review today because Pruneyard Cinemas was so quick to address the issue regarding the dine-in service for people in wheelchairs. Thank you so much for your prompt action! I hope to visit Pruneyard Cinemas again in about two weeks. Im confident it will be a better experience.This is my previous review:I have lived in California my whole life, and I have used a wheelchair my whole life, and I have gone to movie theaters my whole life. Its 2018. How can a company fail wheelchair accommodations so badly?To start with, the wheelchair row and companion seats were in the back of the auditorium for the film I was seeing. This is not a problem, except that the row directly in front of me was only one step down. For all other rows, the next row is always TWO steps down, allowing ample viewing over seats and heads. How is this even fair? The wheelchair row is barely raised above the row directly in front of it.However, the real problem came with the dine-in experience. I ordered food, but they had no table to set my food and drink on. The manager came out with some kind of tray that I guess I was expected to balance on my lap with food and drink? Really?To the owners of Pruneyard Cinemas, this is not rocket science! Order some Table Mate folding TV trays or some adjustable over-bed bedside tables. Theyre cheap and they work, and... why do I even have to give you this advice? Could you not figure this out?The manager refunded our money today. I guess thats the least I can expect, but come on Pruneyard Cinemas, cant you do better?
We have been going since it opened. Always ordering to food served to our seats. The last two times we went there were several errors but they were corrected. Tonight we saw a movie at 6:15. We got there at 5:45 so we could order our dinner and have it before the movie started.It took about 15 minutes after we both had pushed the call buttons before anyone came and took our orders. The sandwich and salad that we ordered came and the sandwich was soggy and the fried were so hard you could eat most of them. Salad was not correct and when I pointed it out to our server and they brought the correct one the movie had just begun. That salad was horrible. Didn’t want to distract from the movie so ordered popcorn and candy figuring that couldn’t be messed up. The candy came but had to ask again for the popcorn. I’m sure this wasn’t pleasant for the people around us.Our bill was $91 and the only thing that was worth eating was the popcorn and candy.Going to call tomorrow and see if I can talk to someone to make this right.
I brought my son and his friend to Antman and the Wasp. Friendly service and comfortable seats, but they need to turn up the volume to compensate for the ambient noise and distracting movement. If you feel the same, ask to have it turned up. Two Mac and cheese, two fountain sodas, a glass of wine, and an Evian was $75.00. I just realized I tipped nicely on top of the already included service charge! Oh well. So it was $90.00 for food. Live and learn! It was fun experience anyway. 😂
Not worth it. The novelty of ordering food to your seat was distracting. Constant wait staff in and out of the theater during the movie detracted severely. The soundproofing between individual screens is sub par. Could hear music from the next screen during a particularly dramatic moment in the movie I was watching. Not worth the cheaper ticket.
I love the in seat service, this cinema is the definition of gluttony. You can lounge back and be cozy and you can eat and drink whatever your heart desires. I would highly recommend this place though. Get the tickets in advance though, each theater is small and seating is limited
Evening tickets are $16, & then $8 or $10 for the daytime matinee. Seats are really nice electric recliners with a small table, with plenty of room in front of you to fully kick it out, and still leave room for the servers to get by. There is a call button on front of the armrest.There is food & drink service during the whole movie from the little pub in the front of the theater, BUT they tag on a 20% service charge (which goes to whom?), and then (per the charge slip) still expect a tip for the server, which seemed SO wrong! I dont mind them including an 18% gratuity in the bill, but patrons should not be charged twice for service.Almaden Theater now serves beer, wine, pizza, burgers, etc. at the concession stand, and is only $6.50 during the day, and $6 on Tuesdays. It is a much better value!(Note: posted June 2018; ticket prices may change).
James Bond dine-in cinema was great fun with tasty food, specialty cocktails, and a surprise visit from Sal Pizarro Around Town.
I like the reclining chair, very spacious and comfortable
There is an actual bar connected to the theater. You can grab a drink to take to your seat or order it at your seat and someone will bring it to you for a service fee. There are menus at every seat with great food options such as street tacos, salads, flat breads, Nachos, etc. To order you just push a button at the front of your seat and someone comes to take your order. Recliners are very comfortable and roomy.
Its very nice to be able to get craft cocktails delivered to your seat along with some pretty tasty bites while watching a movie. Support an independent cinema, lean back in a comfy chair that reclines more than is really necessary, and enjoy a next level movie going experience. The only downside is their terrible website
Seating was very comfortable but food didnt justify their high prices. Not many vegan options and the burgers we ordered were okay at best. The price also already includes 20% gratuity.We will probably go there again, for movies and popcorns.
Went to see Rambo Friday nite 9/27 for 6:30pm show. There were a total of seven people there including my Wife and Son. We got there at 6:00 as suggested, ordered our food, wine and drinks which amounted to 156.00 plus 20%tip, prices were reasonable. Seats reclined very comfortable, there were two attendants taking orders. We got our food relatively quick about 6:20 but no drinks or bottle of wine. At 6:45 we were done with meal still no drinks and no attendants to be seen. I got up to try to find someone and eventually did and asked about our drinks, young man said he would go see. At 7:00pm manager came and told us the drinks were dropped that’s why late, no apologies for inconvenience or such. I never heard this one before, he lost his credibility right there, 7.15 drinks came which is one hour 15 minutes from when we ordered. I dislike lame excuses and from the manager! They obviously don’t have enough people and appear disorganized at this point. We didn’t care for the fact that once you order that’s it no more attendants. Marcus has people always there all you do is press call button. Oh well tried it once, poor service and obviously not an issue for the manager. Place is nice but if they continue this way...good luck
Great movie seats, online purchase, drinks were good, food was only ok. Fried pickles were too salty and crust was stale, both my appetizers and special fresh tacos were served luke cold and tasted like they were sitting for awhile. Nachos were good.
Not impressed at all! I have been there two times (2 different companions, neither of them would care to do it again). We were served at our theater seats. The first time was mediocre at best. The second time was terrible.I heard about the dining theatres back east and had high hopes, but after the first experience, my expectations went waaayyy down and yet the experience was worse! :(There were so many things that were annoying and upsetting that I can only mention some. The worst was I made my order as clear as possible, but it wasnt correct at all, plus some the avocados on it were ROTTEN and DISGUSTING!!!Since I had to use the restroom (during the movie unfortunately), I brought it out with my empty soda. I tried to explain as quickly as possible and asked for rootbeer refill, then used the restroom and explained again to the manager on the way back in, also AGAIN asking for a rootbeer refill since they filled it with coke!About 30 minutes before the movie ended I pressed the service button with no response so I asked the other person to press his, still NO RESPONSE! After the movie I asked about refills, you can have more than one. I asked if service stopped after a certain time, essentially the answer was no. So they were just ignoring us. The manager claimed that maybe the service lights stopped working, yeah right. She could have cared less, not offering any compensation for an unpleasant experience.Not to mention the automatic 20% gratuity that the surly waitress did NOT deserve. I give 20 to 25 percent for a good server and she was not! The first time the waiter was nice, so I guess its a 50/50 chance of getting someone decent.The food is mediocre and therefore waaayyy overpriced (if it was good then that would be different). The staff is supposed to be trained in stealth as to not disturb the moviegoers but one was actually obscuring my view of the movie while serving someone else!I do not see this being a success. Too bad because it could influence other places that may want to do the same one day. So I guess we might never have the same fine dining movie theater experience as people in the east, bummer. :(
Interesting place. So caveat, Im a frequent visitor to The Alamo Drafthouse theater. Ill try to be as Fair as possible. This a nice place. Menu is not bad. Theres even attached bar. So here are my two big issues with this place: soda from the menu and the concession stand are completely different. And they dont enforce a no cell phone policy. During the movie I saw tonight there was a couple who was Snapchatting during the previews and during part of the intro of the film. As for the sodas, I ordered a soda and they brought me a highball glass with ice to the brim. So that like 6-7 ounces of soda for $5. At the concession stand I got a large soda in a traditional paper cup WITH a straw. Anyways, the people using their phone during the movie was the biggest issues. I just felt like wasted money by ordering soda from the wait staff inside the theater room.
I was unpleasantly surprised that after paying $3.50 in online ticketing fees, there was no staff to accept our printed tickets to allow us access to the movie auditorium. The theater lobby signage directed us to go to the concession counter, but the employee at that end of counter was leaning over the register area while on a personal cell phone call. When presented with our printed ticket, he required my party to move over to wait in a long concession line of customers ordering food while he continued his call. I thought this should be brought to the managers attention. After having to explain the concern in detail to the manager 3 times, the she finally seemed to realize that there was a problem. On the positive side, the other employee at the concession who was doing all the work was doing an excellent job and working very hard. We got in just in time to catch the beginning od the film, The Green Book, and the movie was excellent.
This theater is awesome. It has been completely upgraded and renovated. The seats recline really far and are really comfortable. You can even order food right from your seat and it will get delivered to you during the movie. They have a lot of screens and the food was really good.
Love this theater. You dont have to walk to much, the auditoriums and restroom are close by the entrance.

Went for the Culinary Cinema, it was a great experience. Only issue is that you cant see what you are eating. Would appreciate some lighting on the subject.
The experience with a sit-down dinner in the theatre was excellent. However, when you go to the movies you expect movie caliber sound; Pruneyard Cinemas has not delivered in this area. We asked to turn the volume up once to no avail. When you can hear the crinkle of your napkin or the ice in the persons cup that is rows away from you during the loudest parts of a movie, its too quiet. Please consider either adding speakers to the back of the house, or turn up the volume.
We love the pruneyard cinemas! Seats were comfy and our service was great. The popcorn food and drinks were amazing. We can’t wait to come back again!
This is our go to cinema. They have made renovation and it is a clean cinema and restrooms are well maintained which I appreciate so much. You can also order food and drinks by pressing a button in your seat and a waiter will be there shortly. The food by the way is restaurant quality. Just be aware there is an additional service charge. You can book the movie online too.

Nice new reserved seating loungers.Upgraded theatres,with plenty of room.Not fond of dine at seat mentality. To much distracting noise and movement.It takes ones focus from the movie.Might be alright for casual movie goers,but I like to immerse myself in the film.

It appears the management listened to my recent review and took action to correct the unpleasant smell problem. Today, we came to watch Dr. Strange, and the lobby reeked of old dirty mops soaked in Pine-Sol. A complete turnoff.You serve food & popcorn, etc., here. Part of eating enjoyment is ones sense of smell. I dont want to eat food with the essence of Pine-Sol wafting in the air.We have come to your theaters for many years and have loved our times here. Love the fact that its seat service. No lines; walk to your seat from the car, peruse the menu and enjoy fast, friendly service. I used to stay home from the cinema because I had much more comfortable seating and better food at home. Now I go to the Pruneyard and sit in a recliner while being served. 😊
What a comfortable and convenient way to watch a movie. You can either buy your snacks the normal way or order off of a menu and have it brought right to your seat. If you like, you can order lunch with a drink--with or without alcohol. The food could have been better (the panini was served on regular bread instead of panini bread) but the service was great.
Arrived 1.5 hrs prior to purchase tickets. Employees very nice. Seated 30 min prior to showtime, we each ordered a salad and shared a prawn appetizer. Delicious food. Enjoyed seats and the movie.
Expensive food service, for modt ordinary food sure to soon fail. Lounge seating not a big deal. Reserve seating a pain with.need to pay more for daytime movies. I was happy with old theater operation where it was our go to movie place. With 10 movies for $70. Disappointing after waiting a year for it to reopen.
Purchased tickets through fandango with advanced seating and reclining seats for row k, because everything else available for infinity wars was front row. Get to the theatre, hand the printed ticket to the girl taking tickets, and she stops to ask us if we could change seats because row k does not recline and you have to look over the people in front of you to see(word for word what the girl said)! Wait, what?! You advertise yourself as a luxury theatre and take money for those seats, yet ask people not to sit there? That’s not ok! And on top of that, when we ask what seats are available, we are pushed off to another girl supposedly the manager who immediately issues a refund without even telling us what she was doing until asking for the card the tickets were purchased on and then asks... “Would you like to purchase another seat?”... Ummmmm no! We already paid for the seats we wanted without having to look directly up the whole time. Extremely unacceptable! Even more so, since while not a big deal, we weren’t refunded the $3 fandango service charge or offered anything that would make up for wasting my time! I’ll be contacting the GM!
I love the idea of a movie theater where you can order food. Unfortunately I found the execution a little distracting, as the person next to me kept calling for service resulting in someone walking back and forth in front of me during the movie. The seats are comfortable and the theater is clean though, so Ill be back.
Really nice theatre. I will definitely be coming back. BUT, the bathroom IS HAUNTED! It is haunted. Needs to be on one of the spooky haunted tours. I was in a stall. I was the only one in the bathroom. The lights were buzzing then all the lights turned off. Something wanted my soul. Barely escaped to tell the tale. Lights were buzzing and flickering as I walked back to my seat. Something followed me. Will be bringing a flashlight, crusafix, and one of those Ghost Buster vacuums next time.
Great price, food n service! Neat little spot to go and relax in reclining chair and have food and drinks brought to you. The food is a bit pricey but the seats are good.. 10 for kids 13 for adults.
I love this theatre. Reality tasty drinks and food brought to your table/recliner seats. Perfect place for date night, highly recommend the comedy nights.
A nice cozy small theaterIf you are looking for true theater experience this might not fit the bill as the screen size is relatively small with average Sound. This place is perfect for those who prefer munching and watching a movie on comfortable and cozy recliner.

I love the theater, first time too. Very roomy, and comfortable seating, like vacationing in a theater. Food and drinks look reasonably priced. The ice tea out-of-this world, delicious.
I love this place! The seats are so comfy, and the fact that you are able to order food and drinks from your seat is awesome, but I usually start in the Cedar Room with a couple of drinks from my friend, the cocktail hacker.
Disappointed. 34 bucks for quiet sound, a mile away view making the screen look really small, and service fees not included on the special menu (it does show up on the main menu @ 20%) You would have a better viewing and sound experience watching a pirated movie on your phone than watching a movie here. If you plan on going dont sit pass the middle row to the back because the screen size looks tiny, also sound. wow! 7.1 more like 2.1 I only heard sound coming from the front only. I had to ask an usher to turn up the volume and he Glady did but this guy only turned up the gain making a loud hissing sound when scenes got quiet. Also I sat up top and I could hear people talking in the film room very distracting. I expected a lot for paying 34 bucks I did get a 3 course meal which was good but everything else sucked. This was my first and now my last time ever going here.
Comfy seat (even in the front row, after reclining!) and decent food. I wish I had gotten a napkin, and the beer I ordered never showed up (but wasnt on the bill, either, at least).
When I went everyone in the theater was constantly talking. It felt like it never ended. I attributed it to the service style here. Popcorn was good, and sound was decent for the small theater I was in
I still like this theatre a lot after the changober from the smaller camera 9 cinema. They took over the dive bar and have put in a very nice bar and restaurant. You get full service drinks and food at your seat just like Alamo Drafthouse. The only drawback is some of the front seats are really close even laying down all the way.
This place is nothing more then a money hungry place. They automatically charged you 20% gratuity (tips) without asking you. It is illegal to add charges without your permission. The foods and drinks werent all that great either. I ordered a White Russian cocktail, when it arrived, the drinks appeared to be partially drank. It was not filled up to the brim of the glass and it was bitter taste.
I have been going to Pruneyard for very long time. The remodel done before Covid is awesome. It is always clean and not crazy busy like the mega plexes or shopping malls. It also is a great idea to have meLs, snacks and beverages delivered to your seat and a snCk bar that allows you to get popcorn and drinks should you want to go the traditional way and savea few dollars. The new recliner seTing is the most xomfortable I have experienced. I highly recommend the pruneyard cinemas.
OMG, if you have not been to theze theaters you gotta do it. What a great two hour vacation. Popcorn and cocktails served at you seat, who knew? Plus recliners to relax in while watching the movie. I could have stayed all day. Try it, you will love it.
Theres reserved seating & reclining chairs. Neat thing is you can order food & drinks from your seats from the Cedar Room, which is located adjacent to the Cinema. Each theater is small, but quant. Only knock is the servants can be a bit distracting and the food & drinks are kind of expensive.

I went to the cinema last night to see the new Deadpool movie hilarious movie I have to say. The Ambiance was beautiful the change was excellent love the chairs love the service give it 5 stars all the way. Im beautiful. The cedar room is right in the same hallway and then in the same facility as a Cinemas.
Great seats, excellent viewing experience, and very clean! Im used to a different set up for concession. I prefer the open setup compared to everything behind the counter.
Small amount cozy with foods and drink service
This place is great, easy to navigate, seats easy to find, screens and sound are adequate. Just be prepared to make it a $100 night for two of you get two tickets and some food and drink. It can get pricey quick so just be cognizant of that.

I thought this would be a terrible idea, to serve food in the middle of a movie. But it works so well that this is my permanent movie theater now. (That says a lot when I see a movie once a week). The reason I give it 4 stars is that it does have a few problems such as long waiting times for food and servers and the occasional mess up with seating but surprisingly the servers never get in the way. This is a great addition to movie theaters and I hope it catches on with others.
Its totally fine and I loved the service to the seats. However, the seats are not very far friendly because the tray table hangs over part of the seats. All the staff were super friendly.
Love this theater with the recent upgrades made to serve you in your seat. I had a Pina Colada with my movie delivered right to my seat. Relaxing in a cushy leather recliner makes for a cozy awesome movie experience.
Weve been a couple of times recently. Its a great experience with kids or without. Its so awesome to be able to have dinner while you watch a movie. Overall a great new addition to the Prune Yard.

Ive been here many times recently, and have had higher-than-average experiences. The food has been wonderful and staff incredible, but this particular visit I had an issue with the food that was beyond excusable and not just an incorrect item or something of the such, I spoke to the chef and got a very disappointing response. I really want to patronize this place, but this experience really soured me on it.
Save your money on snacks. The popcorn is already salted!!. Way to much! The raisinets were stale!! It was on a Thursday at 1:00 and cost me $22.00 to go see a movie.

I loved the new seating, but the food selection was disappointing. The selection at the concession stand was limited (popcorn and candy) and the menu from the restaurant lacked traditional movie going favorites. Additionally, the $10 service charge to have it delivered to your seat felt excessive.

I came here because I like the seats. But the menu is terrible. Who the hell wants to come to the movies and eat cornmeal crusted pickles and olives. Pruneyard Cinemas change your menu. Please include some normal food that Americans like to eat.

Chairs not best, clank noise when coming up from recline happened a lot and in different auditoriums. Wish waiters were more courteous and mindful when dining in during movie.
Beware, this establishment requires you to share proof of your medical history, which is a complete violation of my privacy. This is unethical behavior and should not be supported by local patrons. My wife and I were discriminated against and this place will never see a dime from me ever again.
Recently, went to watch AQUAMAN... Awesome experience!!! Seats are very comfortable, sound system is amazing and best part is u can order food at ur seat and enjoy the movie while eating/drinking... staff members, too, are very courteous...

Go for a movie and for sure not the food or drinks. If you do decide on food or drink dont get it in the theater unless you want to pay the 20% service fee. Ended up paying 55 dollars for some mediocre chili fries, sesame chicken rice noodles and an alright Moscow mule
They can serve hot wings, or butter popcorn right at your reserved, leather, movie seat. Oh! If you need a beer or drink before the movie you can get that before the movie starts over at the bar area inside the movie house.
Great experience to go see a movie. Now that the Delta Covid Varient is spreading like crazy, this theater requires proof of vaccination and masks wearing. Only way I will go see a movie these days.
Decent theater. The usual stuff, lounge chairs. They require proof of vaccination though so be prepared. I didnt realize until I arrived.
First time in this theater, burnt pizza, burnt chicken nuggets, burnt fries, and sure, slap that service charge on top of that.At least the movie was greatStick to popcorn and coke next time
This place nailed it. I also appreciate how tje DNA of Boswells was preserved in the Cedar Room.The theater itself is gorgeous and the amenities set the standard for South Bay movie theaters (Note: Im looking at YOU, Los Gatos Theater, with your shoddy sound and misused upstairs venue).

Would have been much better if the food and drinks wed ordered ever arrived. Movie far less enjoyable when hungry and thirsty and staff wont respond to call button.

2023-11-26 22:56:26Easy to buy tickets online. Relatively cheap matinee at less than $14. Lots of parking because it’s in the prune yard. Snack bar is really slow though. This is the kind of movie theater where you can order food to be delivered to your seat.and alcoholic drinks of course. It’s a fun theater.

2021-10-30 19:29:11We love movies and go to Pruneyard for lunch and coffee several times a week. Also from time to time we like to watch movies in this theater. It has changed a lot, it is more modern and functional. The staff is very friendly and professional, the pop corn is only salty - ask the girl who serves it and she told me that the sweet will arrive soon. The seats are wide and comfortable, they recline to an almost horizontal position.Now they have added food service in the theatre, you can order it online or ask for the menu, order the lobby and sit in your armchair because they bring it to you. Just fantastic. It is a very good option to watch a movie and have a good time. I recommend it.

2023-09-12 01:07:13DONT GO HERE!!!!!! 1 Person. 8 dollar service fee that doesnt go to the staff. on top of $40.00 (burger, jalapeño poppers, and diet coke) + tax. And then (20%) tip. $62.12 + $14.00. $72.12 for 1 person. Food was good, but not a premium steak dinner. No wonder the place is empty.

2023-08-08 18:23:01In the theater we went into, every seat reclined and had a little tray table in front of it. They had a menu you could access by scanning the QR code on the table. They were out of all the vegan options, but we werent hungry anyway. Of course it still that meant smelling everybody elses food during the film. Other than that, it was stupidly loud. It was set for a much larger room. My friend put in ear plugs, but I didnt have any.

2019-03-30 00:56:20This theater is awesome. It has been completely upgraded and renovated. The seats recline really far and are really comfortable. You can even order food right from your seat and it will get delivered to you during the movie. They have a lot of screens and the food was really good.

2023-08-10 21:30:15Love this theater! Comfy reserved seats, standard concession stand plus a full menu and bar menu available at your seat. The kid got an Icee and I got a nitro zombie. Everyone wins!
