Definitely a hidden gem! We found it by accident when we hunted down the smell from the parking lot. Fantastic sampler appetizer & sauces. The lamb was so tender & flavorful. Paneer was good, but could have used a bit more seasoning/spices. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Overall this place is a great choice!
Worse place ever. My daughter and i ordered 4 ras malai. The lady went and got us ras malai, the packet one. Heated little bit and the rest was ICE. There was not even 4 ras malai. It was mashed and it was 2 and half.We could not eat because it was all ice and not flavor.There was no friendly service, no one came after to ask if we needed something. Wasted my money.
I didnt even remember the taste of food.. but how we got treated as Asian disappoints me....the lady waiter asked us a covid vaccine proof..it sounds right and I showed her....but a white couple came after us got completely different treatment..I dont mind showing my covid proof. but what really upsets me. She is very unprofessional and treating people differently with face... Frankly I have no issues with those white couple...they didnt asked for any special treatment...but that lady waiter treating customers differently sucks...after all we all pay the same....damm disappointed with her and I hope she is not Punjabi...if she is she is first Punjabi is thing is loser...
Just ordered our dinner from Door Dash, one item was missing completely and the other main item was the wrong item. When we called the restaurant they said they were closing, even though it is only 6:50 and they are open until 9:30 pm. They said call door dash for a refund. We just want the food but they lie and say they are closing. I would never order from here unless you want this to happen to you. If you make an error, own it and fix it, dont say oh we are closing good luck with a refund. Never again, you have been warned
I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this delicious restaurant. Well we had a brilliant evening and the restaurant was clearly the reason for this happy celebration. The team cooperated in a pleasant manner, the cuisine was appetizing and my guests were so happy. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
Authentic food! The best Indian food my family has had yet! The owner is very kind and friendly. The customer service is outstanding! We have found our favorite restaurant!
I went to the store to pick up my order. When I informed the woman that I was there to pick up my order, she directed me to the back of the store. I looked and she told me go over there, which was rude. Then when I was leaving, we crossed paths, so she moved, and said go She was rude, and didnt care that I was paying for food at the store that she worked in.
This is basically a grocery store + sports bar + restaurant. The store is not very clean. Food quality is average / below average. Staff is usually grumpy. The lady in the front gives a sigh if you ask for something as if shes being bothered.
You need to learn how to cook inidan food. Roganjosh chicken was aweful with big pieces of tomatoes with no taste and Lamb biryani was just some pieces of lamb in a masala rice. If you cant make the fod8d dont serve it
Little hidden gem in San Pablo and Pinole area. Ordered butter chicken, lamb korma, and shrimp all tasted good. Wish the shrimp was bigger tho. Would order again

Horribly rude woman answered the phone when we called to answer our Uber eats order about a 2-3 minutes after placing it when my husband realized hed put in his work address, she said No you cannot cancel because the order is ready that was after Uber Eats tried to call and said they couldnt reach the restaurant and the woman kept shouting into the phoneNo, its ready, no cancelling Long story short I havent eaten their food but I wouldnt want it if it only takes 3 minutes to prepare and dont want to eat at places where they verbally abuse customers.

This small but cozy place has very rich and tasty food, like lamb and a curry-style chicken with a lot of flavor, and they also have that delicious Arina omelette that I think is called nan, very delicious and fresh, and their portions are large. With quite pleasant seasoning even for those of us who dont know it, its owners and service are very good and helpful and if you dont know what to order, if you ask them they will help you, and if you are a beer lover they have a large and varied selection of beers, with a regular alcohol volume, up to a beer with 8 or 9 degrees of alcohol, you will undoubtedly find something for every taste. This place is informal, but you can eat something delicious and have a pleasant time and if you like sports, They have several televisions and a large screen.

2023-08-02 02:14:30I’m a bit baffled at the strong negative opinions since I’ve gone here several times and have always loved the food, friendly service, very fair prices, and bar/back-of-the-store atmosphere that makes you feel very much like a local :).Because it is literally at the back of a liquor store, DON’T expect a typical restaurant experience with waiters checking in on you, it’s much more of a casual vibe. But everything I’ve tried on the menu has been tasty!

2023-06-10 01:28:01Menu says you get one thing, and then you get something completely different. Dont offer services you dont want to properly give to paying customers. Its very simple. Theres so many places to eat that are better. Food was beyond disappointing and not what was advertised. Gladly will pass on this place ever again espicially when the thai place next to it is fantastic!

2019-01-02 21:03:36This is some of the best butter chicken I have ever had! So rich and creamy and buttery, with lots of spices and that little sweet note at the end! The lamb Korma is also amazing, so tender, as is the paneer matar. Garlic naan is light and crisp, but not burnt. Rice is perfectly cooked. A culinary triumph in the back of a market, complete with random ATM machine and a mop bucket. Wow!I mean, this place needs to be on the map. You have to look for the little sign at the market front, as it doesnt have its own front.

2022-12-29 19:14:35Have eaten here 3 times now and it’s become a favorite neighborhood Indian restaurant. Food is delicious-with good spice if you ask for it-and prices very reasonable. Friendly service. There’s a good beer selection, always baseball in the TV. The only drawback is that the beer is quite pricey - 6$ for a half pour of anything on the menu. Otherwise perfect place!

2022-01-06 15:17:10This place was recommended to me so I thought I should give it a try. First hand they dont have consistent opening hours so my first two tries were unsuccessful. They have been out of the takeout menu for over a month. The whole setup is so weird including selling fried chicken by the front counter. The store is messy, disorganized, and looks run down. You have to walk through the store to the back to find the restaurant which has no sign. On my third attempt, I was finally able to order and try their food. There is nothing special about the food or the ambiance of this place.

2022-03-29 03:45:01Wish I could give this place 0 stars. The food is horrible and greasy. Items that we normally order from a myriad of other Indian restaurants were virtually unrecognizable here. The mint sauce was stale to boot. Only ended up here cause I thought it was the new place a few doors down. That mistake will NEVER happen again. Most of it ended up in my trash.
