I went here for a Yelp Elite event, and I am so glad I took the drive out there.The pupusas are delicious. They are made to order and arrive piping hot, along with all the sides.The service is warm and inviting as the owner comes out to greet you and check in on how your food is.Her husband mans the front cashier, and he is a really nice person as well. I enjoyed watching how they both interacted with all the people who came in.It got busy. It got really busy, so I was glad I got there not too long after they opened.

Pupusas have a fluffiness to it. Spinach/kale pupusa was surprisingly delicious. Salvadorian Empanadas are excellent, cortida has a refreshing spice to it, and the tamales were creamy AND HOT. Very good food.Love the service from host there. I even called ahead to make sure they were open and after I thanked her she saidmy pleasure like it was genuine. Just awesome! They deserve more love.

What a gem!! Hands down, today I had the best pupusas I have ever had. I am SO happy I checked this place out. I seldomly leave reviews, but Pupuseria Blankita deserves one. From the moment you walk in, the owner, Blankita welcomes you warmly. I love love her energy. Definitely try the revuelta and zucchini with loroco and cheese pupusas. Also, their atole de elote is delicious; perfect for a gloomy day.

My friend and I had lunch here today. Small cute place behind the gas station across the Civic Center.The menu is small but delicious. They have spinach and cheese pupusas, very yummy.There’s also your traditional mixed, cheese only and beans, plus plantain’s.I recommend you order before because it does take 20-25 to get make pupusas, or order for to go.The price is within range. $4.25Per pupusa. I will go back.

PUPUSERIA BLANKITA is amazing, immaculate and delicious. I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Blankita; shes love and pride packed into a small package. PUPUSERIA BLANKITA has this zucchini flower pupusa thats so delicious and aromatic. The platanos are also 👌. BUT WAIT! THERES MORE: PUPUSERIA BLANKITA also does empanadas and theyre so crispy and crunchy and stuffed with delicious. I recommend ALL of it. Try one of everything.

It was very good! I wish the menu was a bit easier to navigate but that can be paved over with the amazing food. The salsa was mild but paired well with the pupusa and coleslaw like topping. They had desserts, one of which i had. Very creamy and delicious. They did have quite a large selection of drinks despite being such a small business. Would recommend, definitely go again, and personally, get 2-3 for yourself. Thats about the amount it took for me to be full.

Such a great place for pupusas! The quality and flavor of the ingredients were incredible! I especially loved the chicken and chorizo pupusa but everything we had was so good. I’ve had pupusas all over the Bay Area, but these were some of the best. Super clean spot too. The service was wonderful, everyone was so nice and friendly. A hidden gem!

Amazing experience, was greeted with a smile at the door and the server was very helpful and knowledgeable on the items on their menu, the pupusas come out hot and stuffed! Very generous proportions that just melt in your mouth. Beyond pleased with my experience and I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a taste of authentic Salvadoran food.

By far the best Pupuseria I have been to. I use to live in LA and Bakersfield a long time ago before moving to Marin 3 years ago and this is by far the best Pupuseria I have been to. Other places I have liked in the past have been very flavorful, but often very greasy and oily. We ordered 4, and they all were very flavorful. The food was crispy and fresh and non-oily. The food was absolutely delicious and service and atmosphere was exceptional.

Amazing service! Some of our long time family friends own this restaurant, and not for nothing, the service, quality, is top tier. They’ve got traditional pupusas along with a variety of other flavors to pick from. Lastly, you must have their horchata. Authentic flavorful Salvardorian horchata!Very attentive staff that greet you upon entering. Definitely a place to stop by on a chill Sunday afternoon. This place is wonderful. I found them fully by accident - my car overheated at the gas station next store and I was waiting for it to cool down when I had to pee. This little pupusa place had bathrooms for customers, so my friend and I decided to have dinner while we were waiting. The food here is such a surprise, and the staff are a delight. It might not look like much, but this little place is a diamond in the rough. Personally, I thought the refried beans and the bistek entree were really great! Im told the papusas are top notch as well. I came back the next day with my partner because he absolutely had to try it. We ate until we were stuffed, and they even gave us some empanadas to take home and try. Dont miss this place. Its a gem.

Firstly the ladies here are so sweet, super nice and also tried to teach me how to pronounce Revueltas 😂.The pupusas here are the best in Marin! I have tried everywhere and for the price it’s actually worth it. I’ve been here a few times and they are very consistent.I love their horchata and their hibiscus drinks as well. I’m a native from ES and I’ve been in US most of my life. I was just passing by the area and discovered a food gem. Their Salvadoran food is as authentic as remembered back home. Very delicious pupusas, fried yuca, corn atole. My mom and brother were very impressed with the taste. Blankita definitely deserve my five stars

Blanquitas food is original and delicious. The fried beans are made from scratch and tasty. Pastelitos de pollo are well seasoned and crispy. Horchata is made without milk just like in El Salvador, and a gift for lactose intolerant people like me. Blanquita, the owner, is friendly and treats her customers very nicely. I am so glad I found this gem in San Rafael today.

The best pupusas ever. Better than any in SF. My mom use to make them but she is gone now. The Curtido is the bomb. A sign of a good pupusa is its heaviness and NOT greasy or too much masa. Delicious 🤤 and well worth the drive. Definitely will go back to go or eat in. Planning on taking some to my daughter and grandkids in Hawaii.Long time we have good ones

Pupusas were fried and they dont suppose to be like that, too expensive for the quality. Air conditioner was off in a 90 degrees day. So hot inside of the restaurant. I dont recommend it!

Last year Pupuseria Blankita set up a booth at the Santa Venetia Halloween neighborhood block party and there was a line around the block. Everyone loves their Pupusas. They will be back this year! I like the chorizo and cheese.

Wow. This place was great. Probably the best papusa I’ve ever had. One was plenty for me, so this made for a very affordable lunch. I had the house mixed papusa. It was well stuffed and the outer crust cooked so perfectly, to give a nice char on the outside. Only downside was that it took a long time to make, so not ideal for a quick grab and go lunch. I may try to pre-order on line next time. But I know papusas take time. They’re made to order. Quality takes time. In a day and age of inflation, this was a nice treat.

Ordered chicken pupusas to go and it came wrapped in aluminum foil with the pickled cabbage in a plastic bag. Not the appetizing way to eat a tasty and well prepared dish. The pupusa was piping hot and it was difficult to hold and eat. No complaints about the quality of the food.

Hard to spot from the road, its a little tucked in behind the gas station.The inside was nice and clean. I was promptly welcomed when I entered. I ordered the zucchini pupusa, spinach pupusa, chicken pupusa, and the pork and bean pupusa. Everything tasted great! They were all freshly made, and you could tell! They gave us some sauce and pickled vegetables to go.Overall I would recommend the pupusas you cant go wrong with whichever one you choose.

What an amazing discovery this place was! Papusas were the best Ive ever had! Ive had plenty. Lots of other stuff to order as well. Vegetarian options too. I am obsessed with this place. Mix Papusas is my favorite. Mix is ground minced pork, cheese, and refried black beans. It comes with a Marinara dipping sauce and Cole slaw. This place is not to be missed. Papusas are around $4 each. Blankita is the owners name. She gave us a warm and friendly greeting. We will be back!

Apparently theyve been open for a few months but they have their operations down. Would strongly recommend if youre craving papusas. To start with, this place is very expensive, the pupusas can be very good, but at 5 dollars too expensive, I ordered a beef soup, it came out pure liquid, 1 piece of meat and one piece of cassava swimming in the big cup. What I found the most was a lot of garlic and onion, no. I think I will return to eat here again
