2023-11-25 03:20:25Gotta be honest, the experience here was way too salty for my liking. The crispiness and the bite of the dishes were drowned in salt, making it a bit overwhelming. The chicken, in particular, seemed fried a tad too deep, not quite my type. Unfortunately, the taste didnt align with my preferences.

2023-06-16 05:36:53Great spot for Korean food at this part of Berkeley. This is a friends favorite so we headed here for his visit. All the food we ordered was really good. Definitely coming back for more.

2023-06-11 03:09:47One of the better Korean spots around Berkeley. Really enjoyed the bibimbap which included a side of tofu stew. All the stews are great here. All the sides were good too. Wings were okay but meat not quite as moist/soft as I had expected. Overall a bitttt pricey too.

2023-10-29 02:28:10Seafood tofu soup was excellent! The seafood version can be hit or miss, usually miss, at most spots because many places skimp on preparing proper seafood broth. I was so happy to taste the full flavor of the sea in the broth. Love that there was a barley rice option. If you choose white rice, you get 누룽지 (scorched rice) too. Highly recommend. Genuinely friendly service.

2023-10-28 02:43:13The most expensive tofu soup I have had. Seafood pancake has minimum seafood (just chopped squid legs, no shrimp or other seafood) and no green onion. Galbi Tang only have 3 small pieces of short rib and I can’t taste any meat flavor in the soup. Chicken wings are good. I’d only recommend chicken wing. Waiters are friendly, too busy to check on you often but do respond to our request quickly. Restaurant is clean and homey.

2023-12-03 18:41:22Nice chance to come in out of the cold for a hot (bubbling!) bowl of umami rich (even the vegan) soup. My Korean food experience being limited, I was grateful for the helpful servers explaining everything on the menu that we had questions about.

2023-09-10 19:31:37Poor experience despite the good review on Google. Food was sub-par. Seafood pancake was one of the worst I have ever had; soy milk soba was tasteless. The waitress was rude (but the waiter was fine). Pricing was on the high side despite poor food and service quality. Dont come to this place if you value your hard earned money.

2021-07-07 06:58:50Drove over an hour to go here because I heard they have biji-jjigae (ground soybean stew), and it was so worth it! It was flavorful and so hearty - a taste I’ve been craving for a while because no Korean restaurant in the Bay Area seems to have it! I was pleasantly surprised to see they even have mung bean pancakes! They were crispy and so good. The restaurant itself is pretty clean and feels spacious. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!
