We absolutely love this place! We went here for dinner recently and I had miso soup, we shared veggie egg rolls, and I had the veggie dragon rolls. It was all so delicious and everything I tried was amazing! The service was excellent and our waitress was both friendly and attentive. Im so happy that I found this hidden gem. The food was very flavorful and the portions are generous. I had a Crux white wine and my husband had a Crux red wine. I tried both and loved them both! I love that a lot of the wines are their list are local and that they support local and small wineries. The ambiance inside was great and I even had leftovers to take home! We highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back soon!

Quinta is the real deal. Absolutely calming decor/atmosphere. The service is professional and friendly. Our server, Dallas, was a sweetheart of a server. She backed innumerable times to see how we were liking our food. We were liking it. What a great addition to our neighborhood! What a great addition for those visiting our beautiful wine country. Yes. This place is the real deal. I will post a photo next time.The lights are low and the atmosphere is mellow.We look forward to going back.

The Food is delicious! Full of Flavor! I appreciate the timely service and the setting of the restaurant. Today was my first time here and we had a family brunch of 4 at 1pm. The restaurant wasnt crowded and everything was perfect. Great part is if youre looking for dessert afterwards Moxys Frozen Yogurt is just right around the corner.This place has alot of parking as well and wheel chair accessible areas too.

Food was very delicious, authentic (I usedto live in Japan), and presentation was beautiful. They even use authentic Japanese-style dinnerware.Wait and customer service- not so great :/ We were seated outside and waited over an hour for our food. We had to ask for refills. Maybe it was slow because of Mother’s Day?

Wonderful family run restaurant with great service and delicious food. The rolls were amazing and I wish we had room to order all the different varieties. The ramen was flavorful but I felt the egg was slightly over cooked. The restaurant is very spacious but a little dark. Overall a great experience!

I really want to give Qimara a higher review but not after the food and service I received yesterday... The menu description for the 49er’s role reads “snow crab”, but the crab they used was imitation crab. When I asked the waitress she said they call imitation crab “snow crab” at Qimara. I informed her that snow crab IS REAL CRAB, and that the menu description is 💯 false advertising. She said that if I wanted to order real crab, which the menu reads, I would have to pay $5 more! That seemed ridiculous, but I agreed. There real snow crab role arrived and it was half the size of the imitation role, wasn’t prepared the same way (instead of mixed with mayo and seasoned, it was just a few skinny crab legs thrown inside with a small amount of avocado)… Not very appetizing at all. They also recently had a menu-wide price increase and are serving smaller portions. The overall quality and taste of everything we ordered felt a lesser quality sushi than I have had there before, so this was also a factor in my 3-star review.

I had the Pork Chashu Shoyu Ramen, a Unicorn Roll, and some Angels & Cowboys Rose. All a good meal, although the ramen couldve used a bit more flavor. Quick and friendly service too, as well as a relaxed environment. Nice place.

First time here and the food was delicious. I was craving sushi and this is one of few Japanese restaurants in Windsor. The ambiance is nice, the waitress was very sweet and accommodating. The food was delicious. Was hoping for a few more pieces in the roll. It was really good. My fav Jap restaurant is Toyo. But this is a great place here in Windsor.

Wow, so disappointing. Ordered two rolls (tempera shrimp/avo add cream cheese and a Lion Queen). Both were horrible. Shrimp in 1st roll was old af and avo was missing, then the salmon on top of the Lion Queen was so fishy it was inedible. Plus, the place ignored my notes saying I was in a hotel and please, please include utensils and napkins. How can you screw up such simple rolls? It wasnt a delivery problem, it was all a restaurant issue. Would not recommend.

My wife took me here as a welcome home dinner. The place is clean, service is fast and friendly, and the menu is extensive. I had my old standby when eating at a new sushi spot: Rainbow Roll and Spicy Tuna with Tobiko. The fish was excellent! The presentation was closer to traditional than most California sushi places. The beer selection is a little limited, but sufficient. They have a decent wine list, but we opted for tea and a beer. The genmaicha had just the right roasted rice aroma and flavor.Qimura definitely goes on my list of good places to eat!

I’m always skeptical when it comes to sushi restaurants in suburban plazas, but I was pleasantly surprised. Very very decent sushi and food overall. The rice to fish ratio is just right unlike many places that pack way too much rice. Fish was fresh. All priced very reasonably. Highly recommend this place.

Atmosphere is modern and welcoming, though somewhat dark.Staff friendly, but completely inattentive - came in during a very quiet lunch time and was forgotten about. Didnt get a refill or to check on the food. Sat waiting for the check for about 20 minutes. Not sure why as there were only two other sets of customers. Had to walk up to front to pay because they forgot.Ramen was ok, with limited toppings, though egg was unseasoned and overcooked. Sushi wasnt great, too much sauce that was sickly sweet.I had high hopes given the reviews of this place but sadly I wont be coming back.

This is a friendly and comfortable place. The sizable menu includes a nice array of appetizers, several pages of sushi, and one page each of hot entrees and ramen. I had a tasty bento dinner of tempura and teriyaki salmon. Everything was cooked and presented nicely.

I wasn’t going to do a review. But you’ll see why.Second time here. Service is poor at best, very understaffed. The employees have their toddlers running free through the restaurant. Okay, I guess, it’s your place.But they lost me when the children started walking back and forth on the sushi bar counter. Unbelievable. I’ve seen some unsanitary things at restaurants but that took the cake.

This is absolutely the best Japanese restaurant in Windsor. They have so many rolls all of which are delicious! Umé is usually way busier and more popular but I am not quite sure why. The sushi is way better here. It is also cheaper. Ive never felt crowded in the open spaces of this restaurant. The motif is modern and elegant and looks like it would attract a trendy crowd. Everything about this place is simply amazing. So if you are in the mood for 🍣 look no further and head here, you will be glad that you did.

Ive been there 4 times now I believe. Great food, good memories every time. Family operated. Rarely, the comanaging couple have their baby strapped to their chest as they manage the restaurant. It never cried when I was there, and the parents seem so sweet. Definitely trying to go back when I have the proper group, or want to get ritzy; yet, it is somewhat decently priced for sushi.

The place was clean and tidy, but the cashier needs to be less jittery with peoples debit cards as though they believe the customer is going to run away with the food. The sushi tasted good, but for the size of them, I’d rather eat at Umi sushi in Vacaville, the Boathouse at Graton, or heck, even Oliver’s sushi down the road. At least you get a higher quantity of it and possibly bigger rolls for the same price. If you want to lose a few belt notches for a high price, I’d suggest going here.

Dont go here if you dont have all the time in the world to wait for them to be in the mood to pack up your order. I called my order in well in advance of when I needed it, and when they said 25 minutes, I gave them 35. When I showed up to the restaurant, I was told that my order was ready, but that they werent packing it up right now, so I should wait for about 5 minutes. The woman who said this to me, then proceeded to help out 5 white males who didnt seem to be in any kind of hurry. I waited 5 minutes, and then took my place in the small line at the hostess counter. When I got to the front of that line she told me that they werent packing things up right now and I should chill a little longer. I told her that I did not have time, and that if my order was ready, I needed them to pack it up right away. She went over to the bar and began (presumably) packing up my order. Then she disappeared into the back, and sent over a waitress who almost gave me someone elses order. When I was finally able to convince her that it wasnt my order, she asked me to wait for 5 minutes. I told her that I couldnt, that Id already been told my order was ready, and that it needed to be packaged up. Another 5 minutes later, I finally got my food. At this point, I dont care how it tastes. I am never going back to this restaurant again. Theyre lackadaisical approach to customer service, and theyre obvious sexism, is a major turn off.P.S. After all this, the food is generic, and they didnt include any Ginger or wasabi with my nigiri sushi. Whats the point of sushi without Ginger and wasabi, I ask you?

This is a nice place to go when you were looking for basic sushi and good prices. There is nothing over the top extravagance but then you are not paying over the top prices either. The food is fresh and the staff is new but so is the restaurant. They are working things out and most times it is a great experience. We were a big fan of the previous owners and previous restaurant so it took some time to adapt but they are doing their best and doing a good job. The only thing I would change is that when wines are opened at night sometimes they get left overnight to be poured the next day, and Im a wine snob, so this bothers me. I do not like day old wine.

Delicious Kara Age and the Sushi here is excellent. The prices are pretty reasonable and the service is very good. The ramen is ok, I think there are better options in Santa Rosa or Sebastopol. Sadly theres not much outdoor seating so not the best place to bring a dog.

Oh my gosh, this place was outstanding. When we arrived it looked dead, so I worried it might be a reflection of the quality of the food. We were SO wrong. The food was phenominal and the owner Amy was super friendly. We shared the Ocean Roll and it was loaded with fresh fish, no soy or sauce needed. The miso was the best Ive ever had. Very sad this resturant replaced Senju, which used to be in the same building. None of the food tastes good enough to be worth the money. Everything is either too oily or too dry. My gf got some kind of noodles and for some reason they tasted like bad, monotonous pizza? Everyone at the table tried some and for the life of us we couldn’t figure out why it tasted like that. I had some disappointing sushi. Nothing is really noteworthy. Just below average to the point where I can confidently say that I’ve made better food at home. At least the fish here didn’t get me sick. The interior is pretty boring and lacks any spark of personality. Sure it looks clean and modern but it’s just a sad room to be in.Honestly I might be more harsh on this resturant because it replaced an absolutely wonderful and lively place with a lovely atmosphere and amazing food and service that I’d been enjoying since I was young. Because of this you can take my review with a little grain of salt.

Needless to say, Qimura EXCEEDED my expectations.The ramen is the best Ive ever had. Qimura is new sushi restaurant in Windsor, it is in the same location as the closed Senju restaurant. We tried it after we received a flier advertising the change in ownership, and we werent disappointed.We sampled multiple nigiri, including sake, hamachi and unagi, plus had the sashimi plate that included maguro. The sushi was first class and very well prepared.We returned to Qimura today, and while the sushi is still very good, the service was extremely slow. We counted 8 staff all hanging around trying to look busy, but waited about 40 minutes for our first roll to be served. I dont think this place will survive unless they figure out how to speed up the sushi making.
