Pretty authentic Chinese food. Cumin beef is the dish I order every time I come. It’s a little spicy but I can handle it though I can’t handle spice that much. Plus, it goes well with white rice.For other dishes such as noodles or dumplings that have a spice option, I usually go with less spice.All the dishes are pretty flavorful.The service is excellent too, the food is served pretty quick.All in all, I’d recommend this restaurant if u are interested in Chinese food.

Here is my first Google post. This place is a total disappointment. All the tables and chairs are dirty. Yes the foods are authentic but the service is atrocious. When I asked for couple napkins for my meal, the server said one napkin is provided per dish and gave me a dirty look. The reason I asked for extra napkins is because I ordered my noodles along with a Chinese hamburger 肉夹馍 and the Chinese hamburger is known to be greasy so your hands are going to get oily. Until they are willing to afford napkins and offer better services I’m not coming back. Do NOT recommend!

My go-to spot for an affordable and authentic Chinese food experience. Their menu features a wide variety of noodles from northwestern China. My personal favorite is the beef noodle soup which is very flavorful. Other options like lamb noodle are also great you can rarely find elsewhere. Do pay attention to the spiciness because some noodles are 🔥🔥.

The problem with twice-cooked pork is 1. The vegetable leaves are too old, and the multiple superimposed vegetable leaves are not separated, resulting in no taste. 2. The sliced meat is too fatty to be swallowed. It is recommended not to order twice-cooked pork when you come to the store.

We were excited to finally try this place but, wow, what a disappointment. It’s clear that this restaurant is only highly rated because they offer free drinks in exchange for a 5-star review.The meat in my noodle soup tasted old and flavorless, while my friend got different noodles that astoundingly smelled like literal human feces… I also had a Thai milk tea with boba and the boba just had an off-putting texture with a hard ball in the center.At least the interior is kinda cute (one extra star for that). But it’s been hours and we still feel gross after that meal. Never going back.

Possibly the best and most authentic Chinese noodle shop in west LA. Pretty much cant go wrong with any noodle dish although the noodle soups are recommended for the winter months. Guilin Soup: deeply flavorful and medium spicy was perfect. Beef Noodle Soup: very flavorful and flat rice noodles made a great pair. The popular liangpi and hot dry noodle were sold out by dinner, however I dont recommend the liangpi since it has no gluten pieces.The service is courteous and fast. The ambiance is warm and inviting

I ordered Beijing Yogurt, but they missed this item from my order. I order a spicy beef Chinese Mo, but they gave me a pork one and I DONT EAT PORK!!!! At last, I ordered Liang Pi, but they gave me a dry mix rice noodle instead. If you just randomly send out food left in your store, why do we bother wasting time to order? No restroom... So its not perfect. But the food is great, if you like spicy. Just dont think you can take care of your personal business here. All food choices are spicy, spicier, or spiciest. The soups are hot and spicy. The dry noodles are cold and spicy. The potatoes are jalepano spicy. Parking, on the other hand, is not so spacey, very limited. Either walk over, or park in the meters on the street. BTW, this place takes no tip. When I offered, the server(s) refused. When I asked why, they said, We dont have enough service. So, dont go here expecting a lot of service like in a fancy 5 star sit-down restaurant. This place is for spicy lovers. Good luck.

Haven’t had Guilin Noodles ever since I left China. Have been living in the U.K. for 7 years and couldn’t find it near where I live. I am travelling to LA for the summer and couldn’t believe I found this little gem near where I stay. It’s authentic and good price for its taste! The staff were nice and service was quick. I liked how they said no tips but come back, as I certainly would!-Just got back for their noodles and cumin beef, quite spicy but so tasty. Cumin beef is so flavourful and I could eat so much rice with it! Love the texture of the thick mixed noodle!

Really hits the spot when you want hand-cut noodles. The Liang Pi is amazingly flavorful with a delicious, tingly spice, giant noodles, and a balance of freshness with cucumbers and bean sprouts. Called the day before to get info. Guy over the phone didnt even want to give me his name (almost getting defensive). So, I introduced myself first instead. Decided to overlook that first communication. Who knows what kind of experiences hes had. When we got there, the place looked nice, people were friendly, and food was good and tasty.Only negatives is their water dispenser looked like it needed TLC, the chop stick holders needed cleaning (the chop sticks were wrapped and covered though), and parking was tight (but metered street parking is available).

Great place for order to go or have a quick bite.The only two issues are: 1) they don’t have enough parking spots; you either will have to find somewhere else to park or you will have to move your car several times. 2) they don’t have any onsite restroom.

I don’t like leaving reviews like this. Doordashed luizhou soup, smashed cucumbers, and chicken wings. The luizhou soup had good flavor but unfortunately was extremely over salted to the point of the dish being inedible. The chicken wings were on the verge of being undercooked. I liked the cucumber dish with a nice spicy and jumbling flavor. Hope these quality issues were one off.

As a long-term fan of Qin West, it pains me to write this bad review. I used to eat at this place for years when I was in college, and it was a small, homey family restaurant with a unique charm that kept me coming back for more. But now, after their massive expansion, the restaurant has become a standardized, soulless chain that has lost its heart.This time, we ordered the Liang Pi and Guilin noodles, like many times before. But the soups were so tasteless, and both the noodles were so soggy that they were barely edible. The Liang Pi was even worse, as it was rubbery and unappetizing. The interior upgrades are generic, and the price has gone up while the quality of the food has gone way downhill. They also start using disposable bowls for serving, which just adds to the overall unpleasant experience.If this had been my first time visiting the store, I would definitely not come back again. It is such a huge disappointment to see a place that was once a cherished memory turn into a complete letdown. Liang Pi noodle is thicker than Ho Fen, not authentic at all. Guilin rice noodle was ok with not much flavor in the soup. I like that they use paper bowls, more environmentally friendly. Its a self serve place, not much service to speak of.

Even though we dined in, I would recommend this place more for take out. The interior while not dirty or anything is a bit drab and airflow isn’t the best. That said, it is self service and no tip required if you do decide to dine in. The noodle dishes are all quite good but I would pass on the fried rice as I thought it was a bit overly greasy. The salt and pepper pork as well as the wontons are both pleasant surprises and would definitely reorder.
