2023-10-28 04:06:04Ordered the dry mix noodle which was spiced very well and tasty. Overall, slightly greasy for my taste the closer to the bottom of the noodles I got, but nevertheless, the toppings and chili oil combination was absolutely delicious. I came here with some Asian friends and they also agreed that these noodles taste pretty authentic. The noodle portions are huge too - had to pack my meal to-go!Could use a bit more beef slices, but again, there is no shortage of delicious toppings and addictive noodles. For the price, these noodles are an absolute go. $13.95 in LA for this quantity and quality is excellent especially if you have a smaller stomach and can split this into 2 meals. I would come back here if I came back to LA!The guy working here is also really kind and speaks Chinese as well. I dont think he accepts tips by default, but if he served your table well, Id still consider handing him some tip.

2023-03-06 05:08:20Got food delivered. Beef noodle soup was absolutely delicious. Very large serving. Not sure why they offer hash browns but we had to try them. In the future I will just get the hash browns from McDonalds. But the noodles are amazing.

2022-03-23 00:08:54Noodle bowls for $12. Sooooo satisfying and generous portions - spicy, rich broth with lean juicy beef. We were halfway done eating before thinking to take pictures because it was that delicious.

2022-07-01 23:42:08The food is just okay, but the service is really poor. The lady who looked like the ower didnt even bother to greet you or say a word. She just took my credit card and returned it with the poker face. Same story happened to another customer. Well... wont come visit here ever again.

2019-05-02 03:37:49I was ordered two different noodles with spicy soup. Cant tell which noodles is yunnan style...both are tested same but yummy. Love the 3 items mix cold appetizer dish. Pig ears and beef soft bone are so tender. Also with fresh cucumber

2023-08-15 07:10:58A small, no-nonsense kind of place. You order, eat, and go. No need for extra friendly service. They dont accept tips either, which would make sense why they dont need to go above and beyond for a customer, which is fine with me. The food is what matters the most: The noodles are flavorful and comes in a pretty big size. I thought I was hungry before I came in and almost couldnt finish my noodles. The only unfortunate thing is that it was pretty hot that day and there was no A.C. or fan on, so only the occasional wind through the plaza brought in some air. Other than that, it is pretty hot inside. Definitely recommend this place if you want to try something different from your typical ramen or pho. My partner and I got the Gulin soup and the Liuzhou soup (which was pretty sour toward the end because of the cut up sour shoots; def recommend for only those who enjoy sour and pickled tastes).

2023-11-22 05:48:43Ever since I saw Liziqi make luosifen 螺螄粉 (river snail noodles) on youtube I’ve been dying to have some. This spot sells a good one! Lots of toppings including fragrant peanuts, pickled veggies, and tasty broth. A very cozy bowl of brothy rice noodles (mixian 米線/米粉)for a chilly fall night. My partner got the dry mix noodle and also enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending different dishes.

2019-01-14 06:33:36Qin West Noodle is a small restaurant thats located in the same plaza as Howlin Rays, Chego and and Lao Tao. At first glance, youd think its a spot not worthy visiting because its empty but youd be surprised by the dishes they serve.Food:I ordered the Liang Pi noodle and by the looks of the picture on the menu, I could tell theyre hand made knife-cut noodles. Its a cold, meatless noodle dish thats limited in quantity each day. Even though I was craving some meat in my noodles, it was a glorious dish to try. I ordered it medium spicy just in case and it was actually not that spicy. I can typically eat spicy dishes but since it was my first time, I wasnt sure how spicy they described it to be. At first bite, its actually a very refreshing noodle dish to have so Id give it a try if youre looking to try their limited quantity dish.My friend and I also ordered the pork chops with salt dish to share. I initially assumed it was the big slices of pork chop youd typically get at like Phoenix or any Cantonese restaurant but theyre actually small pork chop bites. They tasted like any other pork chop dish with salt and peppet. They fried it well and the oil wasnt overpowering the flavor, which is important for a dish like thisIf youre ever visiting this plaza or waiting in line for Howlin Rays, I recommend you try this place as an appetizer before the main course. Plus, they validate parking for you!
