I’ve been craving the fat noodle for so long and i found this place, it’s a hidden gem for Chinese noodle. The noodle itself is chewy enough and flavor is really good, i also order pork ear which is not bad. Highly recommended, will go back to check all the noodles

First, the gentleman at the front was very helpful and kind. The food is filling because they are not stingy. I would say the extra spicy is still not my level of spicy, but I was told before ordering that their spicy wasn’t extremely spicy. Overall, it was good and I’d come back.

Craving for spicy or non spicy noods in Irvine? They hav dry noodles to wet noodles, non spicy to spicy noodles. Be aware! Spicy is REALLY spicy. I am Korean and can handle normal spices but it does have a kick. I got number one non spicy and then added chili oil later. One bowl is enough for two people.

The overall food itself was good, but the atmosphere isn’t the best as it may be crowded. Therefore I’d recommend sitting outside. The restaurant is mainly self-service and doesn’t require any tips. One bad thing is that the food here is pretty salty.

First time here. Huge portions, one $14-15 bowl could feed two people. We got two different dishes- Liu Zhou soup and manning old friend noodles. Very different flavors from our usual Chinese noodle places. Delicious! Note- mild spicy is still pretty spicy in our opinion. Will be back to try other dishes.!

We ordered the spicy beef sandwich, just did not appeal to me at all. I ordered the wonton soup with added ramen in it. It seemed to be oily, probably a little bit too oily, not for me either. My husband ordered the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice, he said it was okay, but thats about it. I dont know if thats the normal kind of cooking in either China or Korea, it just seemed to be off, everything was a miss. Too oily, they relied on it being spicy but that seemed to be the only kind of flavor you could taste. Not for me, will not do this again.

Very authentic and very well priced real mainlander Chinese food. Great concept it’s so close to the university and convenient for all the residential nearby. The bowl were very flavorful and a ton of food. Try to chicken it’s super yummy. May not have the best parking but can go to the parking lot behind building. Will definitely come back

I cant even get to the point of ordering anything. The main website shows Chicken Chow Mein, but yet when you go to order, the three ordering venues offered dont even show it on the menu. To make it worse, each site shows a different price. Lost a customer just because they couldnt get their food ordering system worked out, especially when all I wanted to do was submit a simple pickup order for Mongolian Beef and Chicken Chow Mein.

This is a newly opened chinese restaurant in Irvine that has a couple of other branches in Los Angeles. They pretty much specialize in noodles, but has other items like dumplings and fried rice. It doesnt seem like a place where you would open a restaurant because its enclosed by tall apartment buildings. But lo and behold, follow google maps and theres actually a couple of other restaurants next to it too. Parking is limited, but free. However its 30 minute parking, so dont linger around too long.Food: I ordered their medium spicy Guilin soup and it was pretty good. The rice noodles had a nice chew, but was slightly overcooked. The broth was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice for me. And they had a decent portion of thinly beef that was super tender, which was probably the highlight of the dish. Almost all the dishes are around $10, so a really good deal considering how much food they give you.Atmosphere: Its clean and simple. Napkins and wooden chopsticks are set on the table. All the dishes come in disposable bowls and plates, no matter if youre getting it to-go or not. No music is running, which is good during busy times but almost too quiet when there was only me and one other table eating right before their closing time.Overall, Ill have to come back before I make a proper judgement. But for now, Ill give this place a 5 star review just so people will give this place a chance.

Stay away from this restaurant AT ALL COST! Both my wife and I ate there last night and been having the worst food poisoning of our life. Shame that this used to be my fav spot for Chinese comfort food, but just a few months after it opened up, the service, food quality and consistency dropped by 100 miles. Even saw a picture of someone posted on here the cook putting his feet on the cooking table, tells you everything you need to know about this place. As a Chinese I know that authentic Chinese restaurants may not have the best service, but here the service is just flat out rude. Will never come back again. Ever.

Their cashier is not helpful at all! My order stuck after payment, and I double checked with the cashier that I get a successful payment already. I especially like the zhajiang noodles, the beef noodle soup, and the cold noodles.My only issue was the lamb pao mo - everything was good, except for the weird rice noodles or whatever theyre made of. Really good portions and prices. Clean seating area. I stayed at a local hotel and I was very happy that could get extra hot oil and black vinegar to go. The main dishes were good (stir fried potatoes, zha jiang mian, orange chicken). I visit Qin West about once a week and am never disappointed. Always friendly, consistent, and absolutely delicious. Their signature Liang Pi is incredible, and pairs nicely with a beef or pork mo. Im working my way through the menu very slowly... because I keep just getting these two things. Everything else Ive had is delicious, including the twice cook pork, cumin beef, and zhajiang noodles.

Always come in for the Liang Pi, its delicious. Super affordable for Irvine which is otherwise an expensive city. Nice outdoor seating as well.

Liangpi was not good! Noodle texture was over cooked. Zhajianmian was okay but some noodles were too thick and not cooked enough. Would not come back here!

As authentic as you can possibly get to Xian cuisine in Orange County. Beef noodle soup is so flavorful and savory, liang pi is hand-pulled and the perfect texture, zha jiang mian gives my moms home cooking a run for its money. Delicious flavors in every dish all around.
