One of our favorite places to stay. Great value in these days and times. Happy Hour every day from 5-7:30 free beer and wine. Fresh food cooked for purchase out on their bbq. Breakfast included. Nice pool. Staff, ladies that work the breakfast are great, hotel manager is always top notch for us. We’ve stayed at pricey hotels with no where near this quality of service and things included
This hotel gives a whole new meaning to Quality hotels, especially in the physical spaces of the courtyards and and the breakfast area. It is a gracious, lovely space to lounge and relax. Breakfast had made-to-order hot options, with cheerful, efficient service. We don’t know of any other hotel in this price range with anything comparable!
Stay 2 nights here in this hotel. We enjoyed the happy hour and the food they had (so we didnt have to go out after long day on road). Breakfast was great with both continental and made to order style, both good options. Only real negative was that the rooms themselves are beginning to show their ages, but they were clean and spacious. Overall good for the value and the area!
Comfortable bed and sheets, good make to order breakfast. Rooms are old, front desk didnt tell us they served burgers sandwiches in pool area. Too expensive for an older hotel. $250 on a Wednesday
Our hotel was clean, well maintained, and above all, well staffed. The added value of complimentary breakfast and evening beer/wine reception really enhances the experience that is already great. We would not stay anywhere else when visiting SLO.
We have stayed at quality suites in San Luis Obispo many times over the past 20 years, it has always been a great stay, the staff is always pleasant, the rooms are spacious, the free breakfast and beer and wine is a nice touch along with the bbq with reasonable priced burgers . The only 2 things I would say is the pillows were a bit uncomfortable for my husband, but he likes flat pillows so that is a preference thing and the tv didn’t have a guide so it was hard to see what was on tv. Other the. That we enjoyed our stay and will return on our next trip to San Luis Obispo.
Hotel was central located and convenient for the places we visited. The room was clean and quiet. The layout of the bathroom could have been better thought out, but not a deal breaker. Breakfast was surprisingly good and the two ladies cooking up the breakfast plates were very friendly and cheery.
My wife, son, and I stayed at Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo for one night during a California roadtrip and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact, out of all the places we stayed on our trip, this was our favorite. We were impressed with every facet of our stay, from the customer service to the cleanliness of the pool to the size of our room to breakfast. Zero complaints -- we just wish wed stayed an additional night!
Ive stayed here 4 times and always find it to be clean, staffed with great people, and in a good location - not too far from either downtown SLO or CalPoly. There is a nice community feel during happy hour in the evening. The breakfast is good with many options and you always get plenty. Parking is free! Although not very modernized, it is a very clean hotel and I definitely recommend it for a trip to SLO!

Have been coming to SLO to visit my daughter for the last 10 years and this is my new favorite hotel. Having a living area and bedroom is very nice. Super clean with friendly staff. I also love the outdoor area as it’s very modern, relaxing and comfortable.
Found bed bugs in two rooms. Staff was kind and offered to comp a night but we ended up leaving to a newer hotel but at double the price because of the last min nature. Rooms are dated but location good. Would avoid.
Quality Suites SLO is the perfect home away from home for Cal Poly families. The staff is very attentive and facilities large and pleasant. Having an excellent breakfast and evening reception included is a real plus in addition to BBQ available at such a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed one night, midweek, so the hotel was not full. We were given an early check-in and a choice of rooms, which was really helpful for our situation. (We had expensive bicycles that we did not feel comfortable leaving on the car rack, it was nice to be able to secure them in an easy to reach room.). The room felt a little dated, but was clean and comfortable. Quiet. The cocktail hour was very pleasant, with friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent, with friendly staff preparing cooked-to-order meals. Easy check out.
Full breakfast was excellent and delicious. The rooms were spacious and accommodating to our family. The BBQ dinner during happy hour next to the pool with plenty of seating was wonderful and economical!! Keep it up!

Great location to campus and town, right next to an abundance of food options. Rooms were large and clean plus an incredible free hot breakfast with options and eggs to order. Friendly and helpful staff with a large outside area to chill
The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the beer and wine reception and the BBQ, the food was tasty and it was very convenient after a long drive, The quality of the breakfast food and offerings were outstanding! Food was hot, fresh, and delicious.
My husband tested positive for Covid shortly after our arrival, which caused us to extend our stay to 6 nights. The staff was very accomodating. The bed was very comfortable, which was important since my husband was in it for 20 plus hours for three days! The door to close off the bedroom was very welcome. We did not have the cleaning crew come in, but they were available to give us the few supplies we need replenished and took away our trash which I bagged up and left outside the door. All of the facilities were clean and well maintained. On our last day there we saw the cleaning people turning over the tables around the pool and wiping down the legs and all. They repainted parts of the wrought iron gate/fence around the pool as well. Nice to have laundry facilities on the premises. The included fresh breakfast, as well as the evening outdoor grill food available for purchase, was all tasty and very inexpensive. Staff was very friendly.
Our stay at the Quality Inn had its problems, but the rooms were clean and the evening BBQ and open bar were enjoyable. The staff was fairly friendly. The food service personnel were very nice and did a good job. Maintenance was sluggish.
Hotel was clean. Definitely aged but it is in a good location. The added amenities like the breakfast, poolside bbq, and happy hour are great. Some (not all) staff provided poor customer service.
The Quality Suites San Luis Obispo is a treasure! The facilities are lovely, but the people are the BEST! From the manager, George Newell, to the people in the breakfast room to the cleaning personnel, I have never met so many truly friendly, helpful and exceptionally competent people all in one place. I visit the Central Coast many times a year, both for business and pleasure, and I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else. It is a wonderful oasis in the midst of what can at times be a daunting world.
Everything was perfect, from the kindness with guest services to the size of the room for five adults, to the amazing full-scale hot breakfast. We didnt use the pool, but were in awe with the beautiful resort-like grounds. We enjoyed our stay so much that we immediately went to reserve another night for our trip back. Sadly, the holiday weekend prices were outside of our range; however, we wouldnt hesitate to come back in an instant. Youll not be disappointed in the amazing breakfast, with options for the whole family!
Positive: Like the location its within walking distance to downtown. Which has lots of shopping and restaurants.The plus free happy hour at 5:30 along with a bbq. The breakfast is also good and include with your stay. Also you have beaches within driving distance.
We had a one night stay on our way to San Diego from San Jose. Everything was easy and comfortable. We enjoyed the wine, beer and cheese reception in the evening and the breakfast in the morning. The fire-pit tables looked fun for small groups. Pool looked clean with nice outdoor furniture surrounding it. It was an easy walk downtown. Other than the bathroom sink in the bedroom and a dated bathroom, the room was great. It was large and comfortable.

Stayed here for 3 nights this week. Wonderful hotel! Rooms are very good size; nice suites that can accommodate up to 4 people. Very clean, the staff is cleaning and hustling nonstop. The property is well maintained. Amazing to see. I sure hope the staff is treated well by management because they work their butts off. Amazing amenities, full breakfast, complimentary wine, beer, soft drinks every evening @ 5:30pm. Concession where they grill and sell hamburgers, hotdogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, cheese steaks and veggie burgers. Prices are reasonable. You can also order food and bring it in. Perfect pool area (pool is heated) and hot tub for families. Plenty of seating around the pool and patio with tables and chairs. A wonderful courtyard in the back with plenty of seating, tables, chairs, Adirondack chairs and music playing throughout the grounds. Location cant be beat. Less than a mile off of 101. Walk to downtown SLO, shopping, dining. Could also walk to CalPoly, less than a mile away. Highly Highly recommend this hotel.

I loved the asthetic. Reminded me of Greece. I loved the pool area although I didn’t use it because there were too many kids. There were lots of tables outside to sit at with fire pits and cute string lights made it beautiful at night. Loved my room. The bed was comfy. I also enjoyed and took advantage of the made to order breakfast.
This hotel is one of our favorites in slo. Staff here are fantastic! The rooms are adequate and roomy. Beds are nice with thick pillows. They have a reception that provide excellent beers on tap and decent wines by the glass for free every night. Cant beat that! Breakfast has wonderful options with 4 different plates they cook and prepare right there. Lots of beverages to choose from too.
This is a beautiful property located in the very beautiful place, with lots of great restaurants, many other hotels, bars, breweries and is very close to the ocean. However, I will say that all of the service was great with the exception of the outside vendors selling hot dogs and hamburgers in the outside patio. When I politely asked where my order was after waiting approximately 15 minutes for a hamburger, and seeing other patrons being served before me who ordered after me. I was met with three heavy sighs, and a tremendous bad attitude by the male cook, chef, whatever it was, and when my order WAS ready he (it) just sat my order there without a word, Never mind I had just left him and his female partner a nice tip thinking what a nice place this was. A cool amenities they have there is to serve delicious wines and beers on taps free from 5:00 to 7:00 at the bar. The rooms are really big though a little bit dated, the size and all the amenities in the rooms makes up for it. I wish I would have taken some pictures to share with yall.
Nice hotel with pool, spa, and firepit. Due to engagements I was unable to enjoy the happy hour and food by the pool. The included breakfast was great.
Initially we were seeking a boutique place to stay, but found this last minute. Included in your stay is happy hour beer and wine and an excellent made to order hot breakfast. The room was spacious (King suite), clean and very quiet. There are fire pits and really nice patio furniture in the courtyard, and there was a barbecue serving burgers for less than going out to eat. We were very impressed with the level of quality and service!
Great and friendly, the breakfast served was new to us and it was really good with a variaty of choices that were really healthy. The gym was also very clean.Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
10/10 will visit again. Everything was top notch. My visit was a low key anniversary hangout. The walk downtown was a little far, but on the evenings you dont want to walk catch an uber. No biggie.
Pleasantly surprised. Great happy hour with good collection of free micro beers and wines. Great full breakfast. My wife sent me down twice for the #4 skillet with eggs, spinach, mushrooms, and cheese. Room was large and very comfortable bed. Only a couple of nit-picking items. Pillows were a little hard and the bathroom sink was in the bedroom. Quite. Walkable to downtown.
This place is great for a trip to San Luis Obispo. We went for just a night recently and the stay was very good. Youre not going here for luxury, youre going here for location.The hotel is three levels and it didnt feel like there was a bunch of people there when we were there. Theres plenty of parking and its free. The internet is also free and it was working just fine.The rooms are in a word, quirky. There was one bathroom with just a toilet and a shower behind the closed door and then there was a sink in our bedroom as well as the sink in the front sitting room. It seems odd but it works!The website really makes it look a lot more luxurious though than it is. But again, its a perfect hotel. If youre not looking for luxury. I highly recommend it.There was a free breakfast in the morning that was very nice. A lot of choices.The staff was very friendly and helped us a couple times when we needed things. I felt safe in that area and there was no problems at all.

We had such a great stay last May, that I chose to stay at this hotel again. Our room was clean, quiet and a nice size for my son and I. After a drive, I really enjoyed the wonderful Happy Hour and sitting outside. We walked 10 short minutes to downtown and took advantage of the Farmers Market and got a bbq dinner. Super convenient! We also really enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and appreciated the made to order choices!
The location is great. The exterior of the property is a little old looking and run down. The actual room was nice as I believe they were recently renovated.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo and we were blown away by the exceptional service, fantastic amenities, and unbeatable location.The staff was super friendly, they made sure that we felt comfortable throughout our stay and offered many suggestions for things to see and do in the area.The complimentary breakfast was simply amazing. It had a great variety of options to choose from, including eggs, bacon, waffles, burritos, cereals, yogurt, coffee and much more. We especially loved the waffles and hash browns, which was a way to start to our days!In addition to the breakfast, the hotel also offers complimentary wine and beer in the evening, which was a lovely touch. It was nice to be able to unwind after a long day of exploring the area with a glass of wine in hand and chatting with my wife next to the fire pit.The room itself was also fantastic. It was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities one could need, including a comfortable bed, two flat-screen TVs, and high-speed internet. This was a nice older hotel, but the rooms were very large with a separate bedroom and living room area. The breakfast was excellent.
Staff made us feel welcome from the first moment. It was clear they made it their priority to make us feel comfortable and give us the best experience from our SLO stay.
I love that this hotel on the surface seems like a standard hotel but once you stay there, it feels like a mini resort. The breakfast is made to order and doesn’t feel like a standard breakfast bar. The rooms are large and feel like small apartments, the Lobby has a small library, a fountain, and a little snack shop, not to mention the beautiful pool and hot tub area that has an outdoor grill for burgers on selected nights of the week. This was my second time staying here and I will definitely stay again when I’m back in SLO.
Amazing hotel and stay for the price. The location is great, down the street from the main downtown area and the cal poly campus. The room was large, with a front guest room and a tiny balcony. The free breakfast includes a cafe with a full spread and made to order eggs and waffles. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly.
We arrived at night and have never been to California and were pleasantly surprised! The breakfast was wonderful! People were friendly. The four of us were very happy with the hotel. Could use a little updating but clean and we highly recommend!
The room was clean, quiet, as advertised, and at an affordable price. Check in was quick and breakfast is excellent. If youre looking for a clean, affordable hotel with a pool and hot tub and free parking this is a good choice. Room furnishings are older and need updating, but a section of the hotel was being renovated while we were there. (Still, it was quiet). Staff is friendly.

The breakfast cafe was delightful and we also loved the king suite with separate bedroom. Quiet and well-kept overall, we’d recommend this hotel to friends and family.
The hotel was clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. We were on the ground floor, yet it wasnt noisy and we couldnt hear the room above us at all. The complimentary happy hour was really nice, and it was fun to hang out on the patio with the other guests. The hotel staff were very kind and attentive. I would definitely stay here again, or at other Quality Suites hotels.

After 5 to 6 requests, well ahead of time, both in writing and by phone, by myself and my relative, to have rooms next to each other, neither of us received any response from the hotel prior to check in. Upon check in, we were told by the disintersted male staff person that the hotel was fully booked and we had different bed types, which necessitated us to be in different buildings connected by a walkway. We were deeply disappointed at his brushing off our important request that had been made well in advance of the hotel becoming fully booked.

Great hotel, lots of activities. GREAT Bar-B-Q. Close to downtown and shopping. We visited a few Missions in the area. Costco was close by. The hotel is adding electric car chargers. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Lots of good restaurants near by to choose from.
The stay was comfortable. The patio was nice, perfect place to sit for dinner and a drink. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
The rooms arrangement and overall quality is more like an inn/motel. Nothing to be super excited about. However, they do have a good breakfast, free beer in the evenings, and the small gym. So overall, not a bad place to stay in four a business trip.
Outstanding!When I checked-in the reception area was very clean and picturesque & the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly.The was an open bar which was wonderful to see. I must say their SANGRIA was excellent!! 🍇There was convenient free parking included, with “overnight security guard patrol.”The rooms were very clean, updated and lots of space. There was an elevator which was really helpful even though the hotel is only 3 floors.They also serve a FREE continental breakfast which was better than most hotel chains this size. From freshly made waffles, scrambled eggs/omelettes, coffee, OJ and more…
Breakfast, happy hour and bbq. We play board games, drink, the bbq is so so so good. Breakfast is amazing, just wish I could get fried eggs again. Waffles are seriously the best I’ve ever had.

Overall a bit dated but very clean. Bed was comfortable and loved the counter space. Nice to be able to spread out with the suite. Nice with a door between the bedroom and the sofa bed area. Gives a semblance of privacy and also allowed one to sleep while the other watched tv or read.
This place was so wonderful, the staff was so friendly and the breakfast bar was amazing. Free happy hour and a BBQ for a small fee. We definitely will stay here again!!
Had an awesome stay here. There was free breakfast but did not expect a scrambled eggs live station which was a pleasant surprise. Also beware - their bedsheets were really soft you do fall asleep immediately

It was a great way to start my day, and I looked forward to it every morning.The hotels location is also fantastic, as it is within walking distance of the best downtown eatery. This allowed me to easily explore the local dining scene and try out some amazing restaurants. (Firestone Grill, Goshi Japanese Restaurant, Lokum to name few)In the evening, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel offered free wine and beer! I highly recommend their $3 hotdog.One of my favorite features of the room was the separate living room space with a large sofa and dining table, which allowed me to comfortably work from my room.Overall, my stay at the Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, the amenities were impressive, and the location was unbeatable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in San Luis Obispo.

For a chain hotel it was a very nice hotel. Our room was nice and clean. The outside landscaping was beautiful, and they had a heated pool and jacuzzi. The best part was the free breakfast. There was plenty of food and the food tasted great. They also have a dinner BBQ that was very reasonably priced (around $10) and was well attend. Overall Id give them a 4.5 out of 5 and yes I would stay there again.
I was up working very late, and the night manager and security guard were extremely polite and helpful. The courtyard was lovely, and they left the fire table on for me so I could comfortably work outside, offered me free coffee and tea, and checked in regularly to make sure all was well into the early hours. The lobby was very nice and well maintained. Everything was clean, and pleasantly, unlike many public areas in hotels, didnt reek of industrial cleaners. The rooms are fine. Nothing spectacular but very clean and diligently maintained. 10/10. Will stay here the next time Im in SLO.
College parent. Great hotel for basic stay with hot breakfast. Convenient walk to campus. Comfortable bed. Front desk not as knowledgeable about campus events/logistics so do your own research. Overall great accommodations.
Really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are a little dated but are large, quiet and comfortable. I would have preferred a shower cubicle, rather than a shower with curtain over a bath. Also a safe in the room would be good. These are, however, minor issues.What makes this place great are the communal areas; the reception, bar, breakfast room and pool areas are all really well appointed. The complimentary drinks during ‘Happy Hour’ and the complimentary breakfast both exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff too. Definitely worthy of a 5-star review.

Soundproof rooms, virtually. The rooms are super clean and very spacious. Theres a courtyard to sit in with a little fountain and a gazebo. Its very cute. And they have a wonderful breakfast for you. I was expecting cereal and fruit... We had waffles, breakfast burritos, sausage, fruit, muffins. There was a lot to choose from. You dont leave hungry. Very nice experience for a really reasonable price. Especially for a suite. I recommend.

We would describe the interior of the “suite” we booked as “frumpy”, no worth the money we paid, same is applicable for the included breakfast, which was like eating in a canteen of a company. An old fashion “frumpy motel” (personally it had more a motel style, which is not bad), where the time stopped 30 years ago. Highly disappointed and cannot recommend this hotel, which should have max. 1,5 stars.
The ADA room was great! Huge space and tons of room to manuever my wheelchair. Grab bars and roll in shower in the bathroom were all very helpful. Couch is a good height too.Free breakfast is wonderful! Really high quality for this brand of hotel!

What a great hotel! I stayed for business this time and came back with the family another time. Great free breakfast with a custom omlet, great burger from their evening bbq, free drinks from the bar at night, great location, free rental of DVDs, cookies fresh baked, pool, hot tub, suite rooms. What more could I want?

Security was lacking. I was given a room that was already occupied, Then just got a Im sorry when I asked how would I know if my key was not given to another guest. I liked the area and the perks, but didnt feel like the staff listened to my concerns about the room mix up

I am there for business weekly so check in is fast under 2 minutes the rooms are really big. The pillows are fluffy too much for me so i bring my own. The pool area is big enough for at least 8 family groups that Ive seen. I stay in the back so it is really quiet. Ive often thought of going to another place but naw.
Beautiful grounds. Really nice to have an open bar for a few hours. Nice to have the option to get a grilled lunch on the property. Very nice lobby and sitting area to relax at. All of the staff was very nice to work with. Overall it was clean and my coworker and I were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for the labor day weekend and had a great time. The kids loved the pool and our room was very comfortable with us and our two teenagers. Service was great and the breakfast was a great bonus! Will stay here again when visiting SLO!
The photos dont do this place justice. The lobby is so beautiful. The stay was very pleasant. All the amenities you need are provided. The breakfast was great. We missed the happy hour but the food selection looked and sounded amazing. The room was clean and had so much extra space. The only thing that was a little strange was having the sink in the bedroom near the bed with no sound divider. The door into the bathroom is heavy; it dragged while retracting into the wall so it was loud/disturbing going in and out of the bathroom. Getting showered and ready with someone sleeping in the bed is not really possible. Besides that, we would still stay here again.
This place was perfect for our stay in San Luis Obispo. Great location, big comfortable rooms, friendly staff, a huge delicious breakfast included each morning, & a complimentary happy hour each evening that was great. There was a good little gym too with an elliptical, treadmill, stationary bike, free weights, & a cable weight machine. We hiked each day & walked into downtown for dinner each night. Cant recommend this place enough!

The rooms are definitely a little more outdated. The first room I got didnt have hot water in the shower but I got a different room when I alerted the front desk which is nice. The second rooms outlet didnt work with the hair blow-dry. There isnt a door between the bathroom and the bedroom and the marble countertops combo with sink right across from bed is a little weird. Additionally, the heater/Ac was quite loud.However, the bedsheets are soft. Theres made to order breakfast each morning and free local beers and wine each day during happy hour. The lobby looks pretty nice and it has its own charm. Location is also spectacular and super close to downtown and cal poly. People were accommodating and lovely landscaping around the complex.
Super pleased with my stay. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Lobby was charming and inviting. Hot tub and fire pits created a fun social atmosphere.

The rooms looks clean but the hallway is a bit outdated. The bathroom is clean. The sink is outside the bathroom and is facing the bed. The shower has a powerful water outlet.The toilet in our room was running water to the bowl. After we called the front desk, they sent the maintenance team within a few minutes and they fixed it very quickly (it was almost 8pm!).The free breakfast is great. The fresh made omelette is great, and the servers are nice. They also provide yogurt and bagel.Parking is free and it’s easy to find a parking space. Also got elevators for travelers with luggages.The room I stayed was quiet. Almost no traffic sound. The only issue is the tree outside the window will hit the balcony fences/bars when there’s wind, causing a loud sound occasionally. I have told the front desk and hope they can fix it.The vibe of the free happy hour liquor is also good, you can see people talking to each other like in a cocktail party.I would give it 4+ stars. And if the tree brach thing is fixed I would give it 4.5+.
I absolutely loved this cute hotel with a Spanish Charm to it. The breakfast was amazing and a complete meal for free. I loved how close this was to the town. Just a few steps to the cool town.

There were 3 adults and 1 teenager in our party, so we reserved a room with 2 Double beds and a Sofa Sleeper for 1 night. We arrived past 7pm, check-in was smooth, the hotel staff greeted us warmly and the lobby was charming. Our room was on the 2nd floor in the back of the property, and it was really quiet. The sheets on the beds were incredibly soft and it almost made up for the fact that the mattresses were HARD - almost floor hard. If the property installed an inexpensive 2 inch foam topper on top of the mattresses, it would instantly upgrade the beds and I am certain the reviews would reflect it. The breakfast was cook - to - order and included eggs, hash browns, mini waffle, sausage and bacon. There were other choices too like bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee. GREAT value overall - just fix those rock hard mattresses.

This place was fantastic! The hotel staff were all very friendly. We enjoyed the complimentary happy hour by the pool. The breakfast was really good too! The location is great if youre planning to go downtown. Its a quick 5 minute Uber. The hotel was extremely clean and our room facing the courtyard was nice and quiet. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Decent hotel room/mini suite. Everything is very clean, comes with a fridge, microwave, and two tvs. They re taking an eco friendly choice and will only service your room once every 3 days, unless specific recommendations. They also do a daily happy hour with beer and wine, complimentary. The gym is very small and the pool looks nice and comfy.

This hotel was downright exquisite. We would happily have stayed there for a month. Most comfortable beds, softest sheets (my husband actually gasped when he got into bed and felt how soft the sheets were). The happy hour reception as well as bbq dinner every evening was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that was cooked to order! We enjoyed the fire tables and outdoor heaters around the pool area every evening. I’ve never had such a good experience at a hotel and we are hoping to come back for a week in the future.
Charming rooms in a picturesque location. Sliding divider door between bedroom and living area helpful allowing baby to sleep without distraction. Staff were all wonderful and the breakfast amenities were great!
Good hotel, rooms are nice and clean, more than enough space for everyone. Breakfast service is great, pool is exceptional, overall a great place to stay within walking distance of downtown slo, however customer service at hotel could definitely be improved.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel. The ladies at the front desk ensured that my 80-year-old mother could check in early so that she could change clothes and relax prior to my daughters college graduation. When my mother smelled cigarette smoke in her first room and reported it to the front desk, within minutes my mother was assigned a new key and a new room. The customer service was exemplary!

The hotel was very pleasant. The room had plenty of space, rather than feeling cramped as I sometimes do at Marriotts. The staff were extremely friendly and eager to help when I originally called to make the reservation, as my siblings and I were going to be getting in at awkward and various times. The room provided all of our needs. Also, the bed sheets are some of the softest Ive ever slept in!
Staff is very nice! Rooms are clean. I like that they really respected distance protocols. Their night and morning staff are always friendly. Amazing happy hour. Charbroiled burgers and steak sandwiches at happy hour are highly recommended. 😋

This hotel has a great managers reception in the evening and amazing breakfast. I has a nice layout with comfortable beds and pillows. I thought the bathroom could have been cleaner - especially given the fact that housekeeping is only providing services every 3 days or on request during a stay.
Love the complimentary happy hour. They conveniently bbq during this time & really enjoyed it.

This hotel is in such a great location (near the downtown area and Cal Poly SLO) and is very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! The rooms are big enough to fit our family of five and have been decently upgraded with a refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker. The service was amazing as everyone was very nice. We also appreciated our shuttle ride from the downtown area when it was a little late and cold. We could have walked, but the shuttle was a very nice perk! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit SLO!
This was a great weekend getaway! The hotel is very well located in San Luis Obispo and the wide open look as you walk in the lobby was very welcoming. The hotel has a happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 nightly where beer, wine, sodas and snacks are on the house. The beer selection for free beers was surprising...not a Bud or Coors in sight! The room was very spacious and very clean with a great comfortable mattress, very welcome at the end of a long day touring wineries and local attractions. Very large breakfast set-up in the morning, but, my only complaint was the hot breakfast choices made by a cook need to be expanded. An omlette choice would have been nice. Still, a great place to stay and we will be back when we are in the area.

Best place in SLO to stay at in my view. Great staff, reasonable rates. All the times we have stayed here, wife and I have had a blast.Kids enjoy the pool while we partake in the evening events. Close to the freeway and downtown area. A great place to get away for the weekend.
Had an excellent stay here for my girlfriend’s birthday weekend. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed, and the hotel amenities were top notch. Excellent complimentary wine/beer happy hour every night, and one of the best continental breakfasts I’ve ever had. The staff was excellent, and one staff member named Karina went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Will stay here again next time I am in San Luis Obispo.
The property has all the modern amenities, and very clean. The rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. Felt safe and secure.

The room was very clean and conveniently located. Parking was easy. The breakfast was better than expected with an adequate number of choices, custom made egg dishes and good coffee. The Happy Hour offerings of decent wines and an excellent IPA were a welcome treat. The location of the two sinks outside of the bathroom/toilet area is brilliant. All employees we encountered were professional, courteous, and helpful. The site is well-maintained and pleasantly inviting.
Room was clean and staff friendly. It was during Covid and they did a great job to make us feel safe. The breakfast was handled really well. The took extra care to keep everyone separated and were still able to provide a great hot breakfast with sausage, eggs and bacon. Bacon always makes me happy! The grounds were well kept and landscaped beautifully with a lot of places to sit outside and relax. I highly recommend the stay.

I stayed for 5 nights around Labor Day 2020. It was my first trip in the COVID era, and I was a bit nervous about traveling in general. The hotel seemed to handle guest safety extremely well, which was a big relief. The evening cocktail hour was fantastic, and being able to buy food from the grill was very convenient.The rooms are a bit dated, and the mattress could have been a bit more comfortable. Overall, the location worked out well, the price was nice, and everyone was friendly. I would gladly stay here again.
This hotel has the best value around. You can sleep up to 6 since they have pull out couches. The free made to order breakfast was great. Delicious, great service and convenient. The happy hour every night is a great way to unwind. The patio BBQ was fabulous. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious and a good value. Finally, the free shuttle service to Cal Poly and downtown was fast and convenient. The pool and spa and patio with lots of seating and heaters or fires was beautiful, as well. The staff was wonderful!
I travel for business and this is my favorite hotel in SLO and actually, probably my favorite in California. It has never disappointed me. The staff is excellent and friendly and the rooms (I usually get a king suite) are large and have everything I need. The door from the bedroom to the living room slides shut so I imagine it would be a good choice for families. Both rooms have a TV and the living room has a DVD player. The outdoor area is really well-maintained with nice landscaping and comfortable chairs. The evening reception is very relaxed with outdoor heaters going if needed. I guess that could be the same for the breakfast but everyone I saw was eating in the breakfast room.The breakfasts were also good. They will make a really nice egg + fixings breakfast for you and you can have the regular stuff too. As a nice touch, they had a bowl of beautiful, and likely local, strawberries at breakfast.While the hotel is on a main street, my room was towards the back and I didnt hear any noise. They have a shuttle to take you to downtown SLO but its less than a mile so I walked to the farmers market (Thursday nights).
My friends and I stayed here for a girls weekend getaway. We thought that the room was really nicely set up and accommodated the four of us well. We enjoyed the happy hour as we waited for our ride to the restaurant. The staff were always helpful no matter what situation, we asked for extra towels which were brought to us promptly and they assisted us with restaurant and winery suggestions. The morning breakfast was tasty and had a pretty good selection of breakfast options. It was nice to just go downstairs and enjoy a good breakfast with my friends and not have to drive or wait. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
Everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. We are returning visitors and have always enjoyed our time. The happy hour is an awesome amenity for the guests and breakfast is quite variety and delicious. Unfortunately it was raining so we didnt get a chance to use the pool. The rooms were clean and spacious, staff was always helpful and pleasant. The gazebo was a nice hang out and gathering area. They also let us check in at 11:00 because our room was ready which was nice after a long drive. The 24 hour shop is quite convenient. Overall great time and would definitely recommend.

This was our first stay in many years and we loved it. From the cleanliness to the friendly and helpful staff and the comfortable beds and pillows, it was great. We didnt try the breakfast but have heard only good things about it. We did the BBQ one evening and really enjoyed it. The food was really and good and a great value. Even the wine (which is free at the Managers Reception) was good. They actually had Pinot Grigio which I have never seen at these Managers Receptions anywhere else. Would highly recommend. The free shuttle was a big plus too.
Will not stay again, outdated and dirty. Staff was wonderful but the hotel room was not clean and the room was old. The toiletries were terrible. The ceiling in the shower/bathroom was gross.
The Quality Suites San Luis Obispo is a perfect place to stay. The grounds are charming, beautiful and have a wooded feeling, a forest and a creek beckons you.The rooms are clean, large, airy and well supplied.The breakfast room is full of happy people and many delights to eat.The evening wine tasting and barbecue is relaxing and also has great food choices.Many evenings there are fresh baked cookies available at the front desk, and they disappear quickly since they are so good.But the staff is just wonderful. All of them......They are happy to be there and happy to help with any concern. This must be because management sets the tone of welcoming, friendliness, helpfulness, and competence.This is a hotel you will always remember and long to return to its overall beauty.

Quality Inns and Suites has been our family’s go-to hotel for over 15 years when visiting SLO. This hotel has incredibly high standards in service, cleanliness and ambience which have not wavered since our first visit. The nightly reception (beer, wines, snacks) and full, hot cooked breakfast are always top notch, served by very friendly staff. The hotel lobby area and bar opens onto a lovely pool area which also a nice place to enjoy the happy hour. They offer a nightly bbq (optional) which adds to the fun. After hours, guests can relax in this pool area around the decorative fire pits and heaters. There are outdoor couches and sitting areas under the string lights which is very inviting. This hotel is extremely family friendly.
I love the decorations in the lobby, the room, the patio area. Everything was beautiful. The staff was warm and friendly. The managers reception and evening bbq are a great touch especially for business travelers! The fresh breakfast was delicious! I usually skip breakfast at hotels but this one was great. I will ensure my company books me here for my upcoming trips.
Hotel design was a bit outdated - can hear everything going on in parking lot and courtyard, more like a motel. But nice room overall. Would have liked curtains to close better/more easily.
We enjoyed our night at the Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo. The hotel was lovely. The location was good. The hotel has two buildings that are farther from the lobby and bar and are very peaceful and quiet. We were given the ootion of those buildings or one nearer the lobby. The suite was very comfortable. In the evening the staff lut the fire puts and outdoor heaters and people were enjoying sitting around the pool and firepits enjoying a beverage and chatting. There were tables and chairs in various places in the garden, and fountains provided a pleasant sound of water. I will stay there again if I get back to SLO.
I stayed at this hotel because of its location, because we have a Choice Hotels member account and because of the graciousness offered for a rate reduction under the circumstances I encountered which I noted on former screen. Mom (Atascadero) broke her hip, had surgery, moved to Rehab for 8 wks in SLO. My 1st visit was in Aug. My 2nd visit in Sept/Oct was to move her from Rehab in SLO to Assisted Living in Paso Robles. Very stressful and exhausting trips for me.
I liked this hotel a lot. The amenities far outweigh the minor negatives. Got the king suite. Clean and roomy with separate living space. Lots of room and comfortable bed. Where this place shines are the extras. They have a HUGE free breakfast from 6-930 with everything from eggs, bacon, waffles and everything in between. Also, from 530-730 they have a totally free beer, wine and snacks reception. Good beer like 805 and firestone, all free. Snacks on the tables in a very cozy atmosphere. A lot of extras that push this hotel above the normal Quality Suites. Would stay here again for sure.
While visiting family in SLO after the Christmas holiday, I once again stayed here. The room was spotless and completely what I have come to expect from the Quality Suites. The grounds are meticulously maintained and capture the SLO historical vibe. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. I was surprised at how crowded the dining room was on our first morning at 9:00. We ate early the next day and it was far less crowded. Overall, as long as the price is reasonable I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in SLO.
I have stayed there a couple of times. It is really nice and the bar open and a great BBQ in the evening for a few hours. I stopped by to use there business cntr and to meet my crew members who are stating there. The front desk is fantastic in making you feel welcome and my room was great the last time I was there and a really 100 percent super breakfast! The pool and jacuzzi are nice but jacuzzi is closed because California is so slow to open and a stupid Democrat ran state. Other than that FANTASTIC PLACE!
Nice ambiance and hotel staff, especially the kitchen staff, but I did not like the fact that can hear people from other rooms talking, especially in the middle of the night.
This is a great hotel for the value, you can have as many as 4 people in 1 room comfortably. The property is a little old but they seem to keep most things in good order. The only thing we have had wrong is the AC in our room, on two different visits it froze over but they fixed it quickly saying they were going to replace the unit after we left. The staff is friendly and the lobby/pool area are very inviting to spend some time making new friends. The breakfast is a great value, not often you get a cook to order breakfast like that, they have everything you want. The hotel will shuttle you to some spots around town but it really is a nice walk as well.
We were pleasantly surprised with the overall feel of this hotel - from the nicely appointed lobby area that felt tropical, as well as the courtyard area with the decorative lights and firepit. The offerings of the happy hour with amazing warm cookies, the grill for dinner and the included breakfast all made it a nice place to linger.We appreciated the shuttle to downtown and while the workout room was tiny, it still allowed us a conveniennt workout.The rooms were standard - the beds quite comfy, but we shouldve asked for more blankets for the pull-out bed. The shower was GREAT - good pressure and quick to get hot water.Its super close to CalPoly and has free parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Last minute travel plans took us through SLO and many hotels were booked for Sat night. I choose Quality Choice because not many options existed and it turned out to be a great experience for us! While the hotel appears to be dated, it is very clean, has a great furnished pool area and a nice retro feel to the architecture. The best part was the amenities: 2 hour Manager hosted Happy Hour for beer & wine, very affordable outside BBQ for dinner and a really nice breakfast buffet - including hot buffet. Rooms were very clean - we had a king suite at an affordable cost with a comfortable bed and 2 flatscreen TVs, microwave, fridge and sink. Only downside is some of the decor could use upgrading and the lobby bar is only open for the happy hour 5:30-7:30. overall, GREAT experience
This hotel seemed good value for the money. The free breakfast included eggs and bacon/sausage and then your normal continental fare. Rooms were comfy although furniture was a bit dated. Gym was way too small for the property size, people were literally standing waiting for equipment (any equipment) to come free. Although the free airport pick-up and drop off was great and all the employees were friendly so I would stay there again without hesitation.
We traveled to SLO with our new baby and werent sure we needed a bedroom and separate living area. But ultimately we were so glad we had the extra space and could live comfortably all weekend! My husband has a bad back and I sleep poorly in hotels, but we both got great sleep and agreed the bed, pillows and linens were incredibly comfortable. The staff was great and while the food wasnt gourmet by any means, the breakfast had a good selection for everyone and was far better than most free continental breakfasts. Plus the free happy hour (2 hours actually) is a nice bonus. The location is ideal for walking downtown and to campus, and if youre anti-walking, they have a shuttle to take you there. Wifi worked great, and the tvs were new and huge. Well definitely stay there again.
My Hubby and I always stay at the Quality Suites Central Coast when we visit San Luis Obispo. Our stay at the Quality Suites was wonderful as usual. The hotel staff from the front desk to breakfast and evening reception was wonderful. The cook to order breakfast is good and a good start for your day. The rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. We did not go to the evening BBQ but it really smelled good and seemed to be enjoyed by the other guests. The complimentary wine and beer at the evening social is also a very nice and is well appointed. The hotel is close to restaurants and the downtown area. We will definitely be returning anytime we are in the area.
Great experience - there was a stain on the ceiling in the bathroom - that was the only thing I noticed that was less than 100% great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The staff were particularly friendly with having the dogs - which made things so easy. We appreciated the dog food bowls and the treats upon arrival. Staying at this hotel is so easy and its a rare place where staying with a kid is even easier! The happy hour bbq and pool area are the best part of the stay. thanks quality suites!
Its friendly and everything but not a 3 stars hotel really. The lobby is nice, breakfast is good, well located. Nice rooms but everything is oldish and seek for renovation. But the most annoying thing is that they are not cleaning the rooms. They do that once every 3 days. Even when I asked them, nothing happened. Expected more.
Positive: Happy hour and breakfast are very good. The rooms with suite attached allow for us to get up at different times.
Loved staying both times at the Quality Suites near CalPoly when we visited with our son. Great location - walkable to the lovely downtown area, and the hotel provides a free shuttle which comes on demand. The breakfasts are hearty and tasty, and the hotels complimentary happy hour is nice to enjoy in the beautiful inner courtyard after a long day out and about. Free and ample parking makes it easy to drive without stressing about a high valet/parking fee. The beds are comfy and the showers have great water pressure. The pool is a bit on the cold side for the time of year we visited (March/April) and the hot tub wasnt as hot as we wouldve liked, but still both are nice to have. The fitness room is small but still enables a decent workout while on the road. The room price can be a bit high but the location and amenities make it a pretty good value.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Quality Inn and Suites, San Luis Obispo! The rooms were large enough and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of items and the grounds were well maintained. The light dinner by the poolside was delicious and the shuttle service downtown was prompt and efficient. The hotel staff were very helpful and gracious! Well definitely go back again. Well done to the team!
We had never stayed in SLO and decided to try this Quality Suites hotel. We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and we enjoyed the Managers reception plus BBQ. It was nice that we didnt need to leave the hotel to try to find dinner as I enjoyed my steak sandwich and my husband had a hamburger. The steak was nicely seasoned and cooked and it was an actual steak and not just thin slices of beef. It was nice to sit outside with the outdoor heaters running. Very relaxing. Breakfast was good and it was nice to see plenty of tables available to sit and eat at because we have stayed at other hotels where we had to rush to grab a table or there were no tables available to sit at. It was a nice and convenient location where you still were close enough to the beach or to places in the vicinity so you didnt need to travel a long distance to get to. Even though our stay was only for one night we left feeling very relaxed and refreshed. We know we will make a return trip again sometime.
We stayed here at the end of our mother/daughter trip to the wine country area near San Luis Obispo. I was searching for a hotel for a couple of nights that was affordable but nice. After reading an online review of the place which included the words, 2-hour Managers Reception with free drinks, and also, A resort feel without the resort price, I investigated the hotel for myself. I was amazed that such a nice looking hotel which offered quite a few amenities, including a full made-to-order breakfast, was offered for such a reasonable price. Also, it is only a short drive to the nearby beach towns of Avila Beach and Pismo Beach. I would definitely stay here again if/when we return to this area.

This is my fourth stay at Quality Suites. Everytime I stay I am so impressed. The first thing you notice is that the whole place is squeaky clean - the pool area, the gazebos, the lobby, the rooms, etc. Ive had the pleasure of meeting the managers and they are gracious hosts that hire the best staff. The complimentary breakfast is excellent and the managers reception is very enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here.
This Hotel has an amazing group of people working there and we always have a pleasent stay whenever we are in SLO.
We booked this hotel the day before for a quick family getaway. We loved the location, an easy walk into downtown SLO. We walked to the old mission. The hotel offers a van but ended up walking everywhere. The morning breakfast was perfect for everyone! It was better than the typical free breakfasts because our eggs were made to order. The family loved it! We used the pool only 1 day with clean towels offered poolside. The evening reception with beer/wine was a great way to wind down, and then we walked into town for dinner. We borrowed free DVDs both nights. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again the next time we stop in SLO.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of my stay and the amenities offered. The room was large, comfortable, very clean and well maintained. My stay was mid week and a continental breakfast (complete with a cook ready to take your order) was offered, there was an evening happy hour and every night a BBQ with tiki torches around the beautiful pool. Very nice. I will bring my family here.
We felt safe, staff friendly, location excellent. The only real downfall is the mattress, seemed old & soft.

The room was comfortable and clean. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was hot and filling and there were enough choices to make my mother, my kids, and myself happy. The evening managers reception was nice and the bbq was inexpensive, good food. Not great food, but good and very convenient as we were tired from walking around all day and didnt want to go out anywhere. And the associate manning the bbq was great. The shuttle service was pleasantly unexpected - I figured it would only take us to one spot at set times, but they took us to anywhere we wanted to go on demand and told us to call when we wanted a ride back. All of the associates were amazingly helpful. We had a great time and will probably stay again on our next trip to SLO.
Cant beat the location, the happy hour, the breakfast, and the comfortable beds. Will be staying here again while our daughter is a student at Cal Poly.
Location, location, location! This hotel is situated perfectly in downtown giving you walking access to shops, restaurants, bars, and areas to go running/walking, plus close to the freeway to explore outlying areas. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with your own private balcony. The nightly BBQ dinner is a delicious steal, and the complimentary beer/wine is an unbeatable benefit. The walls (and ceilings) are a little thin so there is some noise, but that’s not uncommon with most hotels. I will 100% stay here again!
This is a fabulous hotel. The happy hour serves premium beer and a few small snacks. They also offer grilled items for dinner that looked good, but we ate elsewhere. The breakfast was amazing, so many choices and the fresh strawberries were delicious. They even had real bacon. Room was spacious and we had 3 adults and one child. The pool is on the small side, but very nice. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.
Pleasantly surprised. This hotel was outstanding in all ways. The personnel behind the desk were very helpful, even driving us to the street fair. The hosted wine hour was enjoyable. Our rooms were great with the living room separated from the bedroom. Finally, the breakfast was first rate with a selection to choose from and cooked to our liking. We will definitely return to this Quality Inn next time we are in SLO.
Excellent cooked to order breakfast included. Also free happy hour beer & wine, as well as all day & evening free shuttle service to & from downtown (which is only a half mile away). Personnel all friendly, helpful, & efficient. Lots of space to spread out in our 2 room suite (with 2 TVs!). Pool and grounds are attractive & inviting, especially in good weather. Not cheap but worth the price.
This is a great hotel that is easy walking distance to downtown SLO. The staff is friendly and professional. There breakfasts are made to order, fresh and delicious. Parking is not a problem. The rooms are large, comfortable, clean and quiet. The pool & fire pits are a great place to meet people and chat. The happy hour is fun. The furniture upgrades in the lobby are well done. A nice place to visit.
Nice suite. Loved the pillows and the blanket, and the fact that it smells clean and fresh. Great made to order free breakfast. Free happy hour beer, wine, and mimosas. Heated pool and jacuzzi. Nice reception area and two business desktop computers available for use. Mini store with snacks. Would be great if they sold phone chargers for those of us who forget. Free parking. Friendly staff. Would definitely return. Don’t forget to tip everyone. They deserve it!

2023-09-17 23:59:59This was the last night of a 7 day road trip and we really enjoyed this hotel. It’s Close to downtown where we enjoyed the Thursday evening farmers market. The room was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The pool and spa area was very nice and the cooked breakfast was great. Since this was the weekend before Cal Poly started school the hotel hosted a barbecue for their guests at a nominal price which we really appreciated since we were too tired to go out. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

2023-10-04 14:08:24Room was large and comfortable. Enter room from outside...so more of a motel. We fronted a lovely courtyard. There is a pool/hot tub which looked very nice. Happy hour seemed very popular. Breakfast was excellent with a friendly staff.Only complaint is the electric outlets need replacing. The prongs on all my appliances fell out of outlets. Overall a very nice place to stay.

2023-10-18 15:35:02We always stay in this hotel when we come to the central coast. The best quality inn we have ever stayed at. Staff keep great care of the grounds and are always cleaning, raking, gardening. Free breakfast is amazing with fresh made to order burritos, eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, hash browns. Every night they have free wine and beer. There is also bbq served every night for a very reasonable price. $3 hot dogs, $6 burger and $8 chicken sandwich. The pool and hot tub are maintained well. This hotel is reinvesting in the property by making updates and renovations to the rooms. Never had a bad experience here. By far the best place to stay on the Central Coast.

2023-07-13 23:59:59This is hands down the best Choice Hotels property I have ever stayed at. The entire property was extremely well maintained, with very pleasant public areas. The managers reception and evening BBQ were a really nice touch. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Many hotels these days are going for an ultra modern look that makes me feel like Im at a corporate office. I really liked the homey decor and feel of the entire property. The breakfast was great, and every employee I came across was professional and friendly. This is what all Choice properties should aspire to be like.

2023-08-27 23:59:59Not much to complain about. Excellent layout in the rooms, with a separate living space with a pull out sofa for our teen and a door to the bedroom area. The microwave and fridge were in great shape and the two sinks were helpful. The free breakfast was phenomenal, as was the free wine at happy hour. There were plenty of outside spaces for our group to hang out in. The hotel is a little dated, but its an excellent value for the price.

The location is beautiful, well manicured, upgrading has not hampered our stay, pool location is lovely as well as the property surrounding the main pool area. The lobby is beautiful and inviting. The amenities are still very very generous and inviting, i.e., the availability of drinking water inside and outside the dining rooms, as well as coffee and tea, the two alcoholic drinks each night per person is something we never receive in any other hotel establishment, and the breakfast buffet is the best one, hands down. Please keep up this caliber is care, and we will continue returning and recommending you to everyone we know.

2023-11-20 14:51:25Very nice motel. A bit on the older side but it seems they are remodeling a few rooms at a time. Pool and hot tub and courtyard are all clean and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. Great brewery right next door, Central Coast Brewing.

2023-07-27 23:59:59Your hotel is very lovely, clean and very well kept up. Restrooms are super clean. And the staff was exceptional Corrina the bar tender, just loved her company. Your BBQ was convenient, and the out door patio was very nice and relaxing. Breakfast was good and convenient, loves that we were able to come down and get our food and come back to room to enjoy while being comfortable. The room was very spacious clean and welcoming.

They have everything you could want or need, on the property. Including Happy Hour/ free drinks(wines/beers as well as a variety of non-alcoholic beverages.) from 530-730pm, An outstanding bartender.They also BBQ during that time for a decent price, right on the patio, where they have several different places for people to sit and enjoy food and drinks. Theres a little snack shop inside as well. There breakfast covers such a large variety, both multiple hot and cold options to choose from.

Pools were operational, clean, and inviting. Negative: Would love to see basic espresso drink and/or better quality coffee and bread/pastry offerings at breakfast which was otherwise above average for a US hotel. Shower water was not hot in one instance in morning, but not an issue at other times.
