I came here with my father-in-law who was having a craving for some Chinese food. I had shrimp fried rice, and he ordered beef fried rice. We both liked our choices. The shrimps were plump and plentiful, so were the beef. The place is very clean and we both loved their refreshing flavoured ice water. Highly recommended!

WOW! This was by far the MOST BLAND Chinese food I ever had. I have a wok at home and cook up a 10x better and more authentic meal and Im not Asian at all! One star way too much still... but have to choose at least one 👎🏽

We had just checked into our hotel and my family was craving fast Chinese, but Panda Express was closed so we found this place. We ordered there for take out and were surprised how quickly they had it ready, 5 minutes, and it was cooked to order, not sitting in a warming pan under heat lights. We loved the sweet and sour chicken and the house fried rice. The chicken chow mein was more authentic than Panda, more veggies, but the kids didnt like it as well because they were expecting it to be different. The Buddha vegetables werent as crispy as wed like, but it was a good variety and the sauce was good. The chicken with green beans was pretty typical for fast chinese. The man taking our order was really nice and helpful. This place has no atmosphere, but if you are just looking for a good meal for take out or to sit down for a quick bite, this place is perfect. They also packaged up our food really carefully, putting all the containers with wet items in plastic bags to avoid messy leakage. We were also surprised to find two boxes of white rice we didnt know we were getting, and a good size bag of fortune cookies!

Finally a place in southern CA that knows what “pan fried noodles” are! I have lived here 5 years and had yet to find a place that understood what I was asking for.I ordered the house pan fried noodle and cream cheese wonton.The noodle dish was as expected, lots of veggies, decent amount of protein. Would have liked more Protein but the food was truly made quick and not so expensive.I only wish the won tons were crab Rangoon instead.Will def go back.

Ordered on Door Dash. Not worth it for the portions you get. I ordered egg Foo young and they came with the two smallest patties Ive ever seen. Seriously smaller than my daughters mini eggo waffles.I immediately called the restaurant and the lady didnt seem surprised or to care. I wanted to try another Chinese place besides Chins Szechwan, but never again.Just order Chins.

I have eaten there at least 11 times since June 23rd 2020 and each time it has been very very good.Its food tastes excellent and has very little in the way of oil/grease/fat. I know because when I refrigerate my leftovers, there is no oils or fat accumulated, just a little moisture.I usually order chicken and seasonal vegetables and it is cooked to perfections, portions are very good. This place offers value & high quality.I have had several pork, seafood, and beef dishes, besides chicken, and they all have been good.When I want great food I eat there. I totally recommend it.

Update 8/10/20 The worst Ive been treated in almost 20 years. Walked in, about to order, phone rings and he says wait a minute then precedes to describe dishes to caller on phone before writing up order. Then another call...are you kidding me... and starts a conversation with this caller, fuk it I left. Ill give my loyal business else where. Miss the old Quik Wok great food and service, not anymore. Somebody needs to be trained in customer service.Update 1-30-19. If you go online and look at their menu forget about those prices, $7.99 is now $12.00. They really should update their website prices, I dont know if its false advertising but its not correct. Huge price increases!!!This place used to have pretty good food and they give you a good portion for a fast food place! To bad its changed.

My family and I were family friends of the first owners and were one of the first customers to support. This place changed and not for the best since the last owner. Hes always rude never friendly. It seems like every 6 months the prices have increased. The portions are smaller. Its obvious they have changed some recipes because the food taste different. The last time visit the chicken egg rolls were not chicken but vegetable and the worse of all when my son dipped his egg roll he spit it out said it tasted nasty. I picked up the sweet and sour sauce given and there was a strong smell of what smelled like finger nail polish remover. Something was most definitely in the sauce. My husband called and was told nothing could be done. Time to look for a new place

Order at the counter. Pay, and you can either have them bring it to your table or theyll hand your order to you to take home. Good, not great, but better than many at serving up good food. Its priced very fairly for how much you get! We ordered Fried Rice and Almond Chicken. Three days later, and noble attempts to consume it, we still got leftovers. When I come here again, well split one order and get an appetizer! Good problem to have!

The wonton soup was delicious! My grandmother always asks for it when shes not feeling so well.I saw the man who was helping me out give a soda to a hard working janitor outside. I appreciate businesses like these! He also gave great customer service. Highly recommended place! Supporting friendly and supportive small restaurants with great food is always great!

Im from out of town and decided to try this place out last night on the way back to hotel. Great prices and Authentic Chinese food. Food was made in front of you and quick. Alot of great options and the cashier was friendly and nice and explained some dishes. You will not be disappointed.

Great food with huge portions, even the shrimp dishes. You can customize so I had lots of extra mushrooms. They cook in phases so while the other veggies were cooked, the mushrooms which normally shrink to nothing were added at the last minute so they were large and perfectly tender. Great lunch specials, too.

Very tasteful food, and you honestly get you pay for. The main dishes are somewhere between 9 to 13 dollars, and come with a lot rice. I took my lovely vegetarian girlfriend and she liked the options they have. Check it out. Ill be definitely coming back.

I was excited to come back here after eating here last year but tonights meal wasnt good. The chicken chow main is consistent but the other items didnt seem how I remembered them tasting. Maybe I will give it another shot but for the price of the items they should taste better. Large portions but it doesnt matter if you dont eat it. Maybe it was an off day?

Quik Wok is a place we frequently go to because we can get there in a few minutes and we can call an order in ahead of time. They are not the least expensive fast food Chinese, but they have awesome service and are easy to get in and out of. It is a small place with a handful of tables, but we usually do take out. The food is always high quality, however we typically spend about $40-50 for just four of us. The last few times we didnt get condiments or napkins, so we know to ask from now on when we pick up. The egg rolls and orange chicken are the favorites in the family. If you like spicy you need to be very specific and tell them you want it hot, or otherwise everything is on the mild side. The vegetable low mein is also good, as is the brown rice.

Ive only popped in for their Wonton Soup. It was fast and very good. Clean broth with fresh vegetables. Not greasy or overlysalty. I always see customers inthe shop. Everything is madefresh so service is fast likehomemade fast - not prefab fast!Place is clean and tidy. Very small restaurant.

This place was a favorite for years, but theyve changed their recipes, cooks, or who knows...but despite the fact that it smells good when you take it home, it lacks the flavor and punch that made it great. Weve tried a few dishes, and the conclusion is the same. The people that take the orders have zero personality--one young greasy-haired guy in particular cant smile and responds sullenly. On its way out of business, Im sure. Whoever owns the place better get their butt back in there, and fix it.

Food is good for what it is. If Im ever in the mood for crappy Chinese food, it comes down to this place or panda express. Just depends if I want a single meal or something shareable with leftovers. Of course the food here cannot fair up to any actual authentic Asian cuisines, but it caters to its own crowd and own taste. Just like how I wouldnt demand a Norms steak to taste like something out of Ruth Chris, I wouldnt ask for the food here to taste like the authentic Asian restaurants in Mira Mesa and Los Angeles. So if you have a hankering for some Chinese fast food and have 10$ and want to get really really full with left overs, go eat here.

If there was a lower rating I wouldve given it. The whole experience was terrible!! From the phone call, lady told me to call the other location for delivery and then that store told me to call the first one back. I shouldve known better after that, but being new to the area I didnt know better. I first was rude as hell, the food tasted like I came out of a 5 year old can. Yeah me, Ive been sick for 2 days because of it. I will make it a point to NEVER eat here again and believe me, I WILL spread the word. I would not wish this on anyone!!!

I was very excited to try this place because I was starving after a long drive and the menu looked like it had good stuff. I ordered the chicken chow mein with fried rice. The fried rice was Okay, just didnt have a lot of flavor. The chow mein though was probably the worst Ive ever had. It smelled like dirty diapers and was EXTREMELY off-putting. I thought it might have just been where we were sitting but when they brought my plate I realized what it was. I take care of a kid and Im not exaggerating that it smelled horrible. I could not finish it because the smell combined with the taste made me sick. I felt bad wasting so much food so I took it back to the hotel and put it in the fridge for later. When I went to try to eat it again it was the same thing. My boyfriend tried to eat some and ended up getting sick too. I dont usually dislike places but it was actually the worst Chinese food Ive eaten and I would not go back. My boyfriends food (the garlic tofu) was not bad but he said it was not the best.

Everyone that has given this place a good review has never eaten Chinese food before. Ever. The best thing about our meal was the raspberry iced tea. Second was the steamed rice. Our over cooked, extra salty, left under a heat lamp house chicken was offensive.And the eggroll came out of my mouth faster than it went in. And the chicken chow mein was at best, palatable. Usually, bad Chinese food is still pretty good. Not like this though. Never again.

I picked up some orange chicken and kung pao chicken a couple days ago ..i swear it tasted like it was DAYS OLD. Hard orange chicken with hardly any orange flavoring on it. The kung pao chicken was also dry...I couldnt believe it. Ive been to the location off the 76 several Xs and its been decent. Not here. Worst ever! Got the chicken and green beans, never again! Not only was it cold, the green beans were wrinkled like they had been sitting in a warm frige for a few days and then got warmed up in the microwave and then dumped into a paper box. No amount of soy sauce could have made this food tolerable. You probably wont even believe this but my fortune cookie didnt even have a fortune in it. Probably think I making this up. But Im not. So I went there yesterday with some friends and I got Garlic tofu and a passion fruit drink. So when I think of a passion fruit tea one would think it’s sweet and delicious not the case for me. It was salty at first I thought it was just me but then I let my friends try and then too agree so I asked one of the girls if I can get a different one and she said no we can’t do that just because you don’t like it. Great dive for chinese food. I ordered the Orange Chicken, and my wife ordered the Garlic Shrimp. We had a small soup. Only problem is the dishes are all sharable size. They brought us a pho bowl full of soup and two smaller saucers. Our entrees were each one full plate, and there was a medium sized rice container brought out as well for our white rice. I would say we ordered enough to feed a family of 5 on accident. The food is delicious and you can actually taste orange in the orange chicken. Recommendation is share one entree and maybe a soup, due to the portion size.

Place looked somewhat empty, with only one table occupied. Cook/Chef? looked Chinese, a very tall one at that. Person taking our order looked like the owner, and we ordered:Large Wonton Soup, $8.29. Broth see through clear, with more flavor than expected, with a fair share of cabbage, and veggies. 4 small/medium shrimp (one for each in the group). Chicken more abundant, nicely presented. Overall very pleased with it. 4 Stars.Egg Rolls Chicken, $5.49 for 4. Average, hot and lightly crispy. This is one of those creations specifically meant to make them money, for it barely has any filling and the outer layer almost like filo thin. Asked for it twice. 3.5 Stars.Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings, (6), $6.99. After eating the first, asked for it again. Decently fried, 3 of the six significantly bigger, 3 tiny wings. On both orders. Probably overkill to order it twice, but tasty, never the less. 4 Stars.Pot Stickers, (8), $5.49. Made with chicken, no different than any other potsticker. Definitely overkill, as everyone was more than full at this stage. 3.5 Stars.Water with lemon peels very good, and free. 4 Stars. Service prompt. Total very close to $50. I order chicken teriyaki on steamed rice with wontons and a glass of water because they have 🍋 wedges i see....grab my cup head for the 🍋 open the top and SURPRISE🎉..a yummy long black hair right on top. I turn around and say to the lady Ill buy my water instead, she gives me the water for free and dumps the 🍋. Doors were open at 11am on Sundat but they dont serve until 1130. Additionally the floors and tables were filthy (food particles and dirt). The were sweeping the floor when we walked in. On top of all of that the inside was hot as outside as if they had no AC or had just turned it on.My friend and I decided to eat elsewhere.
