Get on the Yelp waitlist when youre heading out the door. This place does get packed, if not, therell be a lot of take out bags. After eating the banh xeo, I get it.The crunchiness and slight sweetness to the banh xeo batter topped the experience of eating here. You wonder how it gets so crispy while still being able to fold and not get cracked! The shrimp was also fried in the batter with a yummy taste. Vegetables were fresh. Each bite had a perfect balance of hot (banh xeo) and cold (veggies).The egg rolls (cha gio) were very enjoyable as well.Definitely a place worth paying ~$18 for a shrimp banh xeo for.

We had 2 kinds of banh xeo, one was with pork, shrimp, and squid, and the other one was with mushroom. Both were so crispy and delicious.I had banh xeo for the first time. I really like it.2 dishes were enough for 3 of us. We definitely will go back there and try some other menu.

Prior to this opening, we braved the wait and ate at the original location on Bolsa. The banh xeo are huge and full of stuff inside, ie meat, seafood, veggies, except fillers. Very crunchy (how do they get it that big and cruchy ?) and delicious, without being overly greasy. Very generous with veggies, which are almost as important as the banh xeo. Nuoc nam was great too...thats also important. Lol. Overall for this item, 5*.I always get the mam Tom chua, 4*. My wife likes the mi quang, 4.5*, but I personally give it 3.5* for the overall taste. The bowl and portions are very generous though. Eggs are great too but would do 4*.

I would have given this place 4 stars if the shrimp bahn xeo I ordered had peeled and de-veined/de-pooped shrimp.Instead, the shrimp in the bahn xeo is still in its shell with its legs, veins and poop still intact. Disgusting!Apart from me having to de-shell and devein as i am eating, the food was actually good.The service was good too when I was there for pickup. The people in front are nice.

Delicious Vietnamese food. Mi quang and the different types of banh beo were comforting and tasty. The ingredients tasted fresh and the flavors were perfect. The banh xeo dough is on the sweet side and it was incredibly crispy.

The banh xeo seafood here was super tasty! The crepe is crunchy yet not super oily. They have you spring roll rice paper so that you can eat the banh xeo like a spring roll. I had never eaten banh xeo in this way before and it was delicious. The Banh Xeo is definitely meant to be shared if you want to try other dishes on the menu. I will definitely come back for the banh xeo!

The food here is always filling and tasty. The banh xeo is crispy and the savory taste with the fish sauce is a must order. My family and I ordered the fried tofu and it had a nice lightly salted taste with a crunchy texture as you bite in. It does get crowded here so you can expect a wait sometimes. Parking around the plaza is a bit chaotic so you might park a bit away from where the restaurant is located. Though the plaza parking says 1 hour parking but I dont think they check 👀

An authentic vietnamese dining!I first tried bahn beo here as everybody seems to eating it, and it tastes great. It reminds me Hong Kongs cheng fun.Our order was somewhat messed, so we received bun cha with eggroll + grilled pork while we ordered one only with eggroll. However, we enjoyed a lot in a way as we received.Bahn ceo was a bit greasy, but fresh herbs could neutralize it.Recommend this place.

Nice place for Banh Xeo with decent service.I did find the banh xeo very heavy in fat. I believe they do this for the crunch.It tasted good but I will not try this again because of the fat content.Price is very expensive for the amount of shrimp and meat. The octopus was more of an inconvenience. Did not add flavor just cumbersome when finding the little slices like chewing on coconut.

For two years we’ve been wanting to come here seeing all their Facebook photos of colorful authentic Vietnamese food.We excitedly arrived around 8pm on a Friday night to a full house. We were a little disappointed when we saw their menu as they didnt have as many unique dishes as we thought they might have, but that would be our fault for not looking at the menu before hand.We ordered the banh beo and banh xeo. The banh beo came out first and it was sadly on the bland side. The banh xeo came and was served generously with a nice heaping of lettuce, Vietnamese herbs and rice paper. Sadly, the rice paper tasted old and the banh xeo tasted like it was cooked in really really old oil.After our meal we head to the front checkout to pay and noticed one of the waitresses brought over the used rice paper and container from another table that had left to the cashier and after whispering quietly to the cashier who then nodded, she continued to clear the table while gently handling the rice paper and container with care….

Very disrespectful and disappointing SERVICE.Food was mediocre and bland.To make it taste better I requested cut red chilies 🌶️ on the side.And the server simply lied to my face thinking I was stupid to not realize. He said they dont have cut red chillies. Didn’t say they are out or don’t provide just said they don’t have it.😡We can clearly see in the attached picture they have them and have added them to the dipping sauce. 😒

We had a decent Vietnamese meals. Banh xeo was very crunchy and the vegetables was clean and fresh. The pork roll was also tasteful. I would prefer the fermented fish sauce to go with the roll as thats how the real Mien trung people eat. Also had banh beo and my son liked it.

I like the food here so my wife and I often come but the serving staffs there should be more friendly and polite. We were craving bánh bèo! When we crave bánh bèo and have to go out to eat them, that means were lazy! It doesnt mean we can do a better job than the store were going to.Ordered 3 different kinds (from different regions: N, C, & S VN) to share, but they lacked flavor, and the topping (nhân) was extremely skimpy.Died shrimp was used instead of the fresh one, 2 out of the 3 didnt have mung beans. There were more fried/dried/sautéed onions than shrimp, and they didnt even have pork rinds or fat (tóp mỡ).We suppose different regions called for different ingredients, which is okay as long as the 1 main ingredient: shrimps are prepared in an excellent way to satisfy your craving. Sadly, in this case, zero flavors were found. The fish sauce was so watered down that a bit of chili pepper was all that you can taste. Anyone who doesnt make good bánh bèo knows the dipping (fish) sauce would save you. Again, it wasnt the case!Other restaurants charge 1/3 less than this place, we dont mind paying the higher price for good bánh bèo, but we were disappointed, they werent good at all.We hope the comment about drinks below would humor you. For 1 slice of lemon in a cup of water entitled this store charges you $1.95 and calling it a drink is a bit odd to us. Since we were charged for water and a slice of lemon, we asked for a refill just to see how would they handle it. As expected, more water was poured into the same cup without an additional slice of lemon. The $2.95 Coke drink was served with a 12oz Coke can and a disposable cup of ice, which means no refill. We got the message loud and clear! Lol.Good old traditional Vietnamese food made bad just spoiled our day, sssoooooo sad!

Savvy locals know where to go cannot compete with the mom and pops that can offer better quality at lower price this is just one of those restaurants you eat once in awhile as fusion restaurants westernized just means paying almost triple for a seafood Vietnamese pan Cake crepe. Higher prices similar portions but the bill was $48 for two people I could have gone to other mom and pop restaurants and spend half that price for Vietnamese crepe. outdoor seating was nice seems like everyone was on a date so its nicer than your typical Mom and Pop.typical service dont come around unless the bill is requested. My only complain was the meal cost three times as much typical Vietnamese crept at 6:50. Vietnamese fusion means you can charge more money because its westernized.

My go-to place for banh xeo. I havent tried any other banh xeo like Quan Mii. It has the perfect amount of crispiness and flavor. So good! We also get the Gio Heo Cuon Banh Trang which is a good amount and also delicious. Make sure you try it with their mii sauce (spicy and non-spicy).Other notable items:Salmon spring roll, mi quang, banh cuon tom.Nothing beats their banh xeo though, so I definitely recommend that! And the location is very nice and clean.Sometimes, the yelp waitlist isnt accurate, especially when its busy so be aware! The line is long but the food is worth it.

7/28/2021Came here on the last day of our Cali trip. We’ve been here the year before with family recommendations and daddy loves this place. I kinda forgot about this place because Cali has so many restaurants. I come across this restaurant again bc I was craving bánh xèo which is Vietnamese crepes and this restaurant looks amazing and the decor brings some memories back therefore we gave this place a try. Can I just say this was one of the very few choices that I’ve made right in my life. The food was amazing!! Service was impeccable and the interior was clean and minimal. I do enjoy an easy looking not to crowded with extraordinary stuff when it comes to restaurant. Daddy got Vietnamese coffee that has so so much flavor; I personally don’t like coffee and this was strong 😞, sis got Thai tea and it was really good.. not too sweet and I got a fresh coconut which was delicious… my only complaint was the coconut was an aged one that’s why the pulp was hard. For starter we got bánh bèo chén Hue style and it was good and for our dinner we got 2 crepes. If you question why 2 crepes with 3 people? Trust me!!! I love this restaurant for overall food taste and presentation in Que cuisine. Sure there are fancier place but this have the right combination hole in the wall (it hidden a corner of a busy shopping center) and quality food. Their Banh Xeo are so delicious and crispy. A must try. Also their Bunh Bo Que and Mi Quan are packed with flavors. They have a outdoor seatings as well as indoor seatings. In my opinion this place taste and present their food better than their original location on Bolsa. Try it and let me know if you agree with me. Enjoy
