I havent been here for almost two years. Food was lacking seasoning & definitely not the same . Vegetables fresh, but meat dry and tuff to bite through. Also, their peanut sauce, as I remember from two years ago, excellent. Im not sure if sauce was made prior to the week or if they changed the recipe. Its definitely not something I want to try again.
One of the best Vietnamese restos in Elk Grove. Their specialty is the BBQ pork spring roll- it’s fresh flavorful and addictive, served with a warm carrot peanut dipping sauce. Everyone that tries these for the first time falls in love. Their Banh Xeo is good too. They have bbq chicken too for those that don’t eat red meat. Party trays available. Other dishes are good but these are the best. Call directly takeout orders as seamless/Grubhub etc have higher prices.
Today was a good day for some Pho! Went over to Quan Nem Ninh Hoa, been here a few times and it’s always good.Ordered the number 16, steak with meatballs however I get it with egg noodles, that’s just me!Good flavors, a fresh and hearty meal, friendly people and a clean place… I highly recommend it! Enjoy!
Horrible customer service.. came in to order their spring roll. The lady took my payment and ask to wait 10-15 minute.. came up 20 min later for her to say ahhh oh another 10-15 min.. I ask, did you forget about my order.. she reply sorry and just stood there.. ask for a refund and left.. for them to forget my order when they werent busy is pathetic.
Service was the worst. I ordered a rice dish. Waited 30 mins and still no food. I went to asked why so long, they said we forgot to start the rice cooker. You couldnt tell me this when you discovered it but instead had me wait. Also menu price is only for cash customers, will be little more for each items if paying by credit/debit.
Been here for lunch, first we wanted to eat pho cause we want something have soups,but it wasn’t that good even my mom said, my pho even better just 1*, #2 house special no 1: was good, my mom and my daughter finished all so 5*com thit nuong #22 : meat was delicious 5*
Ive tried couple of Vietnamese restaurants in the area and in my opinion, this place has many delicious dishes which keeps me coming back for more. The place is not really newly decorated, but the staffs are nice. I truly recommend this restaurant.
I order the spring rolls, crepe and this tray of steamed circles, chicken with rice and 3 phos bowls. Every thing was great, except the pho. It was bland and they didnt even offer condiments. We asked for sirracha sauce and they gave it to us in little ketchup packs. And each bowl of pho was $15
My favorite place for spring rolls hands down. Their Banh Beo is also very delicious. Servers are courteous and food comes out pretty quickly. You can fine in or order to go, definitely a great place to grab a bite for lunch. When ever Im in the Elk Grove this I where I stop by for a quick snack or bite. I absolutely love their food, would highly recommend as a casual lunch place for family friends or even if you’re eating solo.
Services here are mediocre. Had to ask for things like spoon. Not very clean. Ordered #18 (Pho) and #27 (BBQ pork vem.) Both dishes were not good. Very little meat in the Pho!

Love coming here for their pork spring rolls. You can either build it yourself or have them make it for you. The sauce is the key. Attention to service could be better, but because they are busy with short staff it is not a big thing.
Ive only been here to eat their special spring rolls. Decided to try their pho. I ordered the combo w/o meatballs. For the price they charge, it is not worth it. The broth was a little bland. The amount of noodles was like kid size. The amount of meat was a tease. They charge like $2 extra for a large. Pho in South Sac vs Elk Grove is not the same. If youre expecting a good amount of noodles and lots of meat...stick to South Sac area. 3 stars for their pho.We also ordered their BBQ chicken rice plate. It was ok.Their spring rolls are a must though. Those are delicious and love how you can order them without noodles. 5 stars for spring rolls.
Food is super yummy here! It doesnt hold alot of people but the food and service is super quick so Ive never had to wait for seating. Right next to T4 and Fuji
The food is not authentic, and its overpriced. The pho was nasty and tasteless. The spicy noodle was What the NOT pho was it? Customer service was terrible. They discriminate against children. They are Chinese, NOT Vietnamese. Their so-called nem nuong is terrible and made in China. Gross. Stay away.
Great restaurant. Very good authentic Vietnamese food. Service was attentive. Must try Nem nướng (Grilled pork in skewer), their special sauce is the bomb. Lol. Dont forget to try its Vietnamese coffee. Its to die for. Lol. Very crowded on Sunday. Come in early or the waiting line will be long.
We have eaten here often since it opened. Its always been good.. but tonight will be the last time we ever come here. From the long wait on the house special, the water down drinks with no flavor, the employee spraying cleaner on the table next to us which came our way and our kids have asthma. The service its self was just not as it use to be. We hear them mention loudly to someone they are closed, so we are trying to rush now being the food took so long...Time to check out and pay and the lady starts ringing me up and then I guy comes over says he will do it. Unsure if this is a new thing,but the guy says no need to tip, we already added a gratuity tip on there. I have never had them add a gratuity tip for just 5 people there. They didnt even tell us theyd be doing that. That is sneaky and bad business practice.
One my favorite places to get DIY spring rolls. The food is always excellent and packed with flavor and Vietnamese spices.
The manager Kevin was very rude he have no skills to be manager i will never give him any business i order two order of spring roll and he pack in one box when I asked to pack different box his start throwing fit 🙄😡😡
Good spring rolls and dipping sauce.
Food was delicious, got the make your own spring roll for two, enough ingredients to make 8 spring rolls. Only complaint was the overwhelming smell of cleaning agents in the morning. It was a bit humid inside so the smell was a bit offensive. Id advise coming in later in the day.
Food is always good. #4 fried Shrimp wrap is the bom. Most if not all rice and noodle plates include mostly chicken, pork and shrimp. Beef, steak only comes with soup. My only suggestion would be to add steak with rice plates aside from that everything is super good.

The pho hear taste pretty good, the broth is one of the best tasting Ive ever had so far, although the soup hardly have ay meat on it, but still I finished my bowl to the last sip. Service is very fast and friendly. We got our food in less than 5 mins. Price is very reasonable and they have a decent selection on the menu. The place is clean inside, but their windows needs a lot of attention. The dining room is a bit small for a Pho restaurant, but its organized in a way that it looks very spacious. Also, I love that they have flat screen tv on the wall. I will definitely go back here again.
The food was fine not great, but the order was messed up and they took forever to get food made and to the tables. One of our group didnt get their order until 20 minutes after everyone else. They were also out of a number of their signature dish ingredients and were replacing with other things.
We ate here years ago when we used to still eat meat after they just opened. We did not know they served seafood and veggie dishes until a friend told us last week.We have been back twice since. The seafood dishes are really delicious. We will try the veggie ones next.The Staff are great, eager to answer any of your questions.We will keep coming back now.
I and my friend came to this store today and we had a bad experience with the workers here just because my friend is a waitress here,so the worker (the girl who wore glass) didnt want to serve us. This is so bad. As a customer, i felt like being offenced and disappointed about their attitutes and this store’s customer service.

We got sat down pretty quick but the service was awful. We ordered 2 phos, 1 iced coffee and fried egg rolls as appetizer. The wait for our food took forever even though they wasnt busy. We had to ask for our egg rolls 3 times and when we finally got it it was spring rolls. I went and told our server that we got the wrong order. Our server said its right we ordered spring rolls. But actually it was the party next to us. At this time we were almost with done with our pho. I told him to forget the egg roll order and asked a 3rd time for our iced coffee which took another 5 mins. What sealed this awful experience was when I found hair in my pho soup. I went up to the cashier and told her my problem and that we were not going to pay for the food. They were hesitant about me not paying but then they said it was fine and we left. 1st time and my last!

Bad service, barely any utensils and you have to keep asking for whats needed. gave them 3 chances, they keep taking orders without writing down your orders. they usually forget a food item or 3. asked for extra bowl for the large pho, nope that was not heeded. Had to ask for everything from forks, to extra bowl that we specifically told server we wanted, the herbs came missing basil, no mint ever, our other special pho came without meatballs or tripe. Last time well ever go there. The wait staff seems to hate working there and it seems dirty too. please avoid.
First time eating here and last.I dont do reviews at all, but let it be known.Im not sure why this place is ranked so high. It may be because its one of the few pho places in Elk Grove...or people have not had a great bowl of pho.-First female waitress was ok. Then we got a different female waitress...and then a male waiter.-Service was slow even though it was not busy. Maybe due to young inexperienced staff?-Pho took a while to come out. I can accept 10-minutes, but when its nearing 30-minutes, thats not acceptable. It should be stewing all day in the kitchen, so that shouldnt be an issue.-As I received my pho. We were still waiting for a rice dish which we waited another 5 minutes as they might have forgot until I had to get the attention of the male waiter to tell them we were still missing the rice plate. Another 10 minutes go by and we receive the rice plate. Then we find out its missing the eggroll. The male waiter tells us it will be coming.-We were already upset at this point as this was supposed to be a quick dinner.-As I waited for the person eating the riceplate to finish. I see that there were also takeout order customers waiting for their food by the front of the restaurant which should have been ready when they arrived to pick up.-This was the end of it. We go up to pay at the register and informed them that they forgot the eggroll. He tells us to wait as he goes to get the eggroll (overcooked as I saw it) and puts it in a to go box. We pay and leave the take out box behind.-Pho was watery. Not a lot of meats, especially no tendon.-Rice plate was plain with no flavor.-Service sucked and there was no sense of urgency or correctness.-If I could give ZERO stars, I would.*ONE OF THE WORST PHO EXPERIENCES EVER*

Ive been a regular customer for some time now and have found the food to be fresh and tasty, the service is fast, friendly (at times it get busy and service can vary). The prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Overall a pleasant eating experience.

Yesterday 12/17/17, I had a friend order the banh xeo with no white onions to go. She said told them specifically, no white onions. My friend didnt check it when she left, so when she gave to me, it had white onions in it. I have an allergy to the onions, so I couldnt eat it. So it was thrown away.

This restaurant is such a ripped off, we ordered three order of their appetizer, supposed to have 10 pieces for each order but once we took the to go order home, we only counted 24 pieces instead of 30 pieces.Even thought the foods were ok, the service is lossy.

2023-12-06 00:32:32I really wanted to like this place but was disappointed. Nobody greeted us upon entering the restaurant. The waiter took very long to come take our order-around 10 minutes, we almost got up to leave. When the food arrived, it was good. However, no one checked in on us for refills. We were not given any napkins, straws or eating utensils. The servers were not friendly and ignored us even when we were polite and thanked them for our food, we still got no response back. Not sure if this is a family establishment or what but they need major customer service skills. Will not be returning.

2023-09-14 07:23:04Drove 2 hrs from San Ramon to try this restaurant recommended by a friend.The food was worth the drive time. The House Special is the best way to enjoy the food. They provide all the various veg, meat and other fillings and sauces and you make your own Vietnamese spring rolls out of them.It was also quite reasonable. We also tried other dishes and they were all very good.

The taste was ok, but there wasn’t much in the bowl for $15.50! And then they can’t even brought out the correct vegetables for the dish. See photos below. The wife got the vermicelli which was just awful. No flavor/taste. She asked for a 2nd sauce which did nothing to it. I would NEVER return. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

The do not have chilli oil here so my soups were missing a little something.We had pho tai nam - broth is good, could use a little more meat.Banh canh - fish cakes - soup is flavourful and fish cakes was good.Banh beo - deliciousSpecial rolls - Banh nem cuon - sauce is good, pork is Marinated perfectly and the crispy roll gives it a nice crunch.

The banh beo was really yummy too especially with the fish sauce. Besides that everything else was unremarkable. 2023-09-20 02:44:07I love their food hands down! Grilled chicken spring rolls are the best I’ve had! I love how they put lots of veggie in it instead of the noodle filler which other places do. Also good amount of chicken for the cost. Love their pho and their chili paste is no joke! Extremely spicy and yet so delicious to add in. Now I didn’t rate this place bad but the cons are - they’re always short staffed, so to get water refills or ask for a napkin/condiments you have to get up and ask them or yell to get attention. That’s the only thing that bugs me is that every-time I’m there people around me are always mad about the service. If they can fix that this place would be a solid 4.9 for sure. Enjoy! Food great !

I also liked that they have other dishes that you cant find a lot, like cơm hến (clam rice), banh beo, and other central Vietnam dishes. It is okay, not the best Ive had. Their broken rice plates are mediocre and meat is sort of dry. Egg is overcooked.Pay in front, decently quick service. Lots of people and easy to park in area.

2023-05-06 20:25:28The interior is much more updated than Sacramento’s original location.No 1 is always best for the traditional experience.Bánh xèo was delicious crispy.Bánh Canh Cha Ca was a huge disappointment. Udon noodles were not tender enough and clearly from a package. Fish was very fishy. Broth was nothing special. It wasn’t worth it to finish my dish. The only thing I truly did enjoy was the cha ca.If you judge by bathroom cleanliness, then no. You do not feel clean using the restroom. They were out of toilet paper in the women’s bathroom so it doesn’t seem like anyone’s checking. The toddler booster seat also felt sticky.
