I only come here for their spring rolls, they’re absolutely delicious!! Five stars on it. My three stars is because of their bad service and semi tight seating when it’s busy. They don’t check on you while you’re there, they bring you food and just leave. They don’t really even check if you need more water. Sometimes they don’t even bring you the full order and leave a few things out ( idk if by accident or something, but frequent enough to leave an impression)
Recommend 12. banh bot loc la. The drinks (59. che ba mau & 55.da chanh dau) are good. The rest are ok. We tried 31. Bun nem nuong cha ram, 18. hu tieu dac biet, and 11. banh xeo.

I dont live in an area where I can eat authentic Vietnamese food, especially foods that tastes this delicious.The food served here is definitely healthy, fresh and delicious. I look forward to coming back here again. I have never ate good authentic southeast Vietnamese food ever. Once you have a taste it, you will definitely come back for more. Their spring rolls are the best in town.I really liked that it came with all the standard fixings including delicious BBQ chicken skewers and vermicelli noodles, pickled carrots and radishes, and a nice fresh assortment of greens which included keffir lime and mint leaves. But also crispy fried rice rolls and the most delicious dipping sauce!Its a lot of fun when you have the option to roll your own spring rolls yourself if you want. You can use your imagination and creativity when making your next meals and have lots of fun doing it.I definitely recommend this place this place to all who have a sense of explorating different types of authentic worldly flavorful foods.
I used to come here on my weekend grocery runs back in my college days. This is my go to place for a light and refreshing meal. 5 years later and it still tastes just as good.I always order the House Special Spring Rolls, DIY edition. I love how this place gives an option to customize my rolls and test my folding skills. Im used to the peanut sauce but something about that thick orange shrimp sauce makes it so unique. I also got a side of Banh Bot Loc because its so hard to find. It comes with 10 pieces. Quite sticky but one of my favorite appetizers next to Banh Beo.Overall, worth the stop. It can get loud for a restaurant, but is it really an asian restaurant if it isnt? I do prefer the Elk Grove location because of the vibe and spaciousness but if you dont mind, food quality is just as mouthwatering.
Definitely the most authentic and best Vietnamese food Ive had outside of Vietnam. Holy wowzers this place does it right!! I live in North Tahoe and stop here every time I pass through!
Expanded my Vietnamese food universe today by trying the Nem nuong con and banh beo because a friend recommended them. Delicious! Great combinations of textures and flavors. I would definitely come here again when Im in the area.

Unbelievable! I thought I knew all about Vietnamese cuisine but nah.. I was a newbie at this joint.The steam rice rolls were awesome cause there is a secret ingredient, the crispy spring roll wrapped inside! A roll within a roll. The marinated meat, tastes suspiciously like sausage was mighty tasty! It has nice grilled marks on them. Very classy. 4 rolls per order. Mighty filling. Paired with a warm tasty dip. Also had the grilled chicken with vermicelli. Basil, lettuce, mint and cilantro brought the enjoyment to a higher level. Yummy! Dont ignore the herbs. These Trinities are the bombs. Final verdict: Worth the Q! US$20. Enough to feed two hungry persons with leftovers of two rolls. 😋

One of my must go places in the area. Ive been to the Elk Grove location multiple times, but we were closer to this location so decided to stop by for dinner before heading home.The house special is a must get for anyone who loves nem nướng cuon. DIY rolls are fun and delicious!! You can also do half orders, just ask! My other go to item is banh bot loc. Delicious tapioca dumplings filled with shrimp and pork.Theres a parking lot right outside, so that should be no issue.
The best place for spring rolls hands down. Ive tried many of their different variations of spring rolls and Im still working my way through all the varieties. They come with fried egg roll wrapper inside instead of noodles which hads for a very pleasant crunch that you can only get from something fried. Highly recommend you wont be disappointed.
My favorite Vietnamese wrap restaurant. #1 is their signature wrap order with 8 wraps usu done by yourself. If you’re not comfortable wrapping yourself they will wrap for you. Awesome vegetarian options as well.
It was my first time at this restaurant but I was not impressed of how they dont wash the vegetables well. A tiny little snail was sticking into the mint leaves and good thing we saw it before we made our own vegetable wrap. The staffs are all vietnamese and only very few can speak english clearly. The food was good but not as better as other vietnamese restaurants. Overall i would give a rate of 2 ⭐⭐

Went here for the 1st time today. The service was excellent and the food was so delicious that I cannot wait to go back. I ended up getting the house special Spring rolls for 2 people and it was so fun making them and it was very delicious with the sauce that you dip into. I also ordered the Vietnamese coffee which was extremely delicious. I am not Asian and it was a very good food experience for me.
There arent that many places in the bay that has this do it yourself hand rolls so theyre one the best along with their vietnamese coffee.

This is places makes the best spring rolls and their food is pretty good, but they dont have any good customer service.I use to come to this place alot and praise their food, unfortunately, the last couple of times was not the best. I would order their spring rolls to go and would wait for it to be freshly made. I would notice that they have some food already made for the to go orders. The server would try to give me the food that have been sitting there for a long time. I would tell them that I wanted it fresh and give me an attitude. This has happened over 3 times.
You need to go to this place and SIT IN. The make-it-yourself spring rolls is the main attraction but everything else is so good.The coconut drink is so refreshing and delicious. I’ve been to a few Vietnamese restaurants and this one has had the best meat by FAR.I’ve taken a lot of my friends here to try it and the diy spring rolls is about ~$27 and it feeds 2-3 people just fine. The thing is makes it so special is the angel hair vermicelli. The sauce is amazing. They have fresh Thai peppers on every table, take some and mix it into the spring roll sauce for extra clean spice.The grilled pork over rice is really juicy and yummy. They marinate and cook it perfectly. Best Vietnamese grilled pork I’ve had.10/10 best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had so far in the country.
I would stick to getting the nem dishes here. The mi quang was kind of mediocre in my opinion. They also have banh beo and other hue dishes sold.
The banh beo is my favorite! I could literally scoop 10 of these into my mouth. The rolls here are really good too so the banh beos are overshadowed. The portions for the House special rolls were really good for $20 for 8 rolls. There is the option to roll them yourself or have them roll it for you but I like the fun of rolling it. The place is always packed but I always waited about 5 minutes for lunch. This is a really good go-to place and I would definitely come back many times over.
This place is fantastic. I have come here twice with my mother in law and once with my husband and would return. The servers are kind and their food is great and filling. We have always gotten the dish where you make your own spring rolls and it is amazing. Lots of food.
This place is absolutely an awesome enjoy some Vietnamese cuisine.We had a party of 6 people and everyone ordered something different. Every dish was absolutely delicious! And not one person walked away unsatisfied.Cant wait to be back. Sorry I didnt get a chance to take some pics. Will do next time.

Customer service doesn’t exist unless you speak the language they speak and are of a certain look. Not trying to rush to judge about it but it was obvious they could care less about taking my order and servicing me when 2 other people come in and they helped them right away because they spoke the language while I had been standing at the front waiting. They never even acknowledged I was there. Wanted to give it a try because I was told it was the best Vietnamese food on Stockton but I left
I called to order ahead of time, the girl on the phone said 15 minutes. Came in 15 minutes later my order is not ready. Ended up waiting while they serve patrons in the restaurant who came in after me, they got theirs.

Ordered the spring rolls with roasted pork and the specialty noodle soup with pineapple and tomatoes! Used to have that soup with catfish growing up, was nostalgic and delicious. Highly recommend their house special appectizer where you build your own spring rolls. 👍
6 hours later and I am still thinking about the great food I had here. Ive never had tapioca dumplings before, it was new and strange and also absolutely delicious. Also had the pork shrimp and fishcake canton noodle soup. My son and his gf shared some spring rolls with me which came with this amazing sweet sauce. The presentation, the food quality, the friendly staff, yeah Ill def be back here. Thank you guys for a nice dinner! Hey, if you had a better dinning room I wouldve said 5 stars
We had a great lunch on a week day. For us the service was fast, spend there less than one hour. We had the spring rolls and they were delicious. My daughter loved them. The leaves and vegetables they include are super fresh and the wrap dough is something I have never tasted before, so thin and tender. The price was really cheap too.
The spring rolls (pre-made or make yourself) are really good. The service is not the greatest. Wait times, even with orders placed ahead of time, are usually pretty long.
What more can you say about this place - the house #1 - make your own spring roll is delicious and filling. Its refreshing with various herbs, grilled pork was good, and the fried spring roll gave it a nice crunch. The dipping sauce was delicious with the spicy sauce (a must!) Also tried the spicy lime flavored shrimp and pork salad - super delicious !!! Would get it again anytime. Its spicy though but doesnt linger too long. The crepe we got was a popular item as well but personally I find it just ok. Take out during COVID.
I came here couple days ago. The food is good and people work here very friendly. I just a little disappointed about the sauce to dip with nem nướng not really good thats I thought. If they can try to fix this problem I will give them 5*.

Placed an order for 3 small spring roll trays in advanced and paid. The day of, I called at 10 am to follow up with my order and confirm pick up at noon, they said yes sure.Got here early to check in 11:50. They said oh, its not 12 yet so its not ready. I checked in again at 12, oh theyre still working on it. Itll be another 10 minutesAGAIN went back in 10 minutes later, theyre still working on it. There was no pork this morning.Well, at this point its 12:30, theres somewhere I need to be with those spring rolls, and I need to be on schedule. They shouldve told us on the phone there was no pork when I called at 10am. Not only are they late, now I am also late picking up the other things I planned to pick up for funeral services.
If youre ever in the area you need to stop by for this restaurant. The food is outstanding. Its not in the greatest area but its its really worth the drive in the time to eat here this is some of the freshest best tasting food Ive had in a long time. Its family owned and run and they really take the time and care preparing their food for you. Tomorrow will be our fifth date lunch here I wish we were staying here in Sacramento longer just eat at this place its that good.
This is one of the most unique and authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Sacramento. The owners really put a lot of details into crafting the experience for their customers. Please order the #1 Special on the menu. What is served is a huge feast that you and a friend (recommended) can customize into your own yummy spring rolls. I love the meat version, but I also highly recommend you ask for a tofu version (not on the menu). It is absolutely delicious!
Our favorites here are the #2 grilled pork roll/sausage spring roll, the #17 flank/round steak pho, #18 flank/round/tripe/tendon pho, and the grilled pork and grilled chicken vermicelli bowls. Flavor is great. Sometimes Ill order a #2 as a lunch when Im by myself. Only complaint lately is the tripe and tendon in the pho is not a very big serving.
Just some notes: small dining area, they were always packed during the times Ive been here. Their rolls are supreme - the ingredients taste fresh and I love the fried crepe INSIDE the roll; it just adds a nice crunch to an already great tasting roll. I will definitely come back to sample more of their menu.
Normally I come here I get great customer service. But today around 3 in the evening I come and I recieve bad customer service. First my friend order a side of rice and the fish sauce was in a soy sauce container and (also there’s no label on the sauces) so my friend put it on there and we ask if we could get a new one bc my friend thought what she picked up was soy sauce and they made us have a hard time so we ended up canceling the rice but they refused at first and wanted to make a new one for us but we have to pay for the messed up rice and extra 2$ for the new rice. Second we kept having to ask for things. As a customer I shouldn’t have to keep asking for refill on sauce or waters. I had wanted sauce for to go with my spring rolls they gave me only one when I wanted 3 and I said I’m missing two and then they give me only one more. I am Vietnamese so I understand what they are saying. They said in Vietnamese that we are wasting rice and ridiculous people in Vietnamese. Normally I come here and I love it here and enjoy everything and leave great tip but this time was a terrible experience. Probably won’t come back.

Just googled spring rolls in Sacramento and this place popped up!!!! Absolutely amazing my first time ever going in me and my boyfriend enjoyed our food everyone was so polite and friendly and the food was so fresh!!!! They give you so much food we got our food during lunchtime and literally still have food left over for dinner, Definitely will be back once COVID-19 is over so the whole family can dine in and enjoy it.

Delicious, fresh, beautiful, affordable fun food, but this restaurant has outgrown the small location. Its a very tight space inside with many tables placed end-to-end, so prepare to get chummy and sit elbow to elbow with other diners. Its a loud dining room, so not for intimate conversation. Expect to yell to be heard. I personally think its too crowded and uncomfortable to sit and eat so close to many strangers. I wonder if they have more chairs than maximum capacity allowed. Seems dangerous if a quick exit is needed in an emergency.
Best spring rolls and sauce in the city. The staff has always been nice and appreciative everytime I go there. And yup, theyre accommodate your every need.

The place is okay. Food is okay, not great but not bad. However the customer service was not worthwhile for what youll pay. We seated ourselves, they never filled our waters, never said anything to me or anyone at my table nor did they come to our table whatsoever until I got up to pay at the counter. I will say that the girl who proceed our payment was sweet, but thats pretty late in the game to make me feel welcomed into your establishment.Ive been to a lot of Vietnamese-Chinese style cuisine restaurants, so I have become accustomed to a certain amount of professionalism from the families that own them that I just didnt receive here. Maybe its just me, you be the judge.
Soooooo good. This relatively humble store front serves fresh, delicious and new (to me) Vietnamese food. I love how the fresh herbs add flavor and crunch, but the texture is still balanced. 🤩
Its not a pho place, but you can order some other Vietnamese soups but their spring rolls and bun are where its at! You can have fun at the table making your own, but my friends and I have found that for the same roll, you can have them make it and its actually cheaper per piece. Perhaps paying more is for the experience which is definitely fun to try at least once! I found out that they also opened an Elk Grove so Ill be checking that location out shortly!

Get the #1 and roll your own spring rolls. The veggies are fresh, the meat is delicious, the sauce is even better. Its a tight space but I go there for the food. I work at Rancho Cordova and willing to drive to South Sacramento, during lunch, for some spring rolls.

I shared the number one combo with my sister and it comes with 8 rice/spring roll wrap, 4-5 pork skewers (or other meat of choice), lettuce, mint/basil/cilantro, pickled radish and carrots, a crunchy fried thing, and a delicious orange sauce. The ingredients and food are high quality and fresh, and its a fun experience wrapping the ingredients and customizing each spring roll as your own masterpiece.This is authentic Vietnamese that makes you feel like your own chef as you interact with your meal. I recommend sharing the number one, as it has been some of the best Viet food that Ive ever eaten.

Come for the food, bring your appetite and your patience. The service is lacking. Dont get me wrong, the staff isnt rude but service is very slow. I can see that they do a lot of orders for party trays but I think the customers in the restaurant should get priority over phone orders. If they can turn over their tables faster, theyd get more business.On to the food: The Hu Tieu ( seafood noodle soup) is probably the best Ive had and I am always chasing a good bowl of noodle soup. The fish cakes and patties looks to be made in-house which is a plus.The Nem Nuong Cuon ( grilled sausage spring rolls) are great! I love the crunchy fried won ton skin (it might be egg roll wrapper skin) adds great texture and flavor. You can also order it as a stand alone dish and wrap your own springs rolls.If we are not pressed for time, we will definitely come back to try other dishes when back in town.
Visited this place for the first time. I found the food to be a little less than average, the food was dry and unseasoned. To make matters worse the customer service was absolutely atrocious. The waiter did not write down the orders, so it was no surprise that some of my orders were forgotten. When I asked for the items I ordered the waiter stated “ I never heard you ordered that...”. Would not recommend, especially because there’s so many restaurants nearby that would love to earn your hard earned money.

Had the privilege to come to this place today on the way home from Tahoe, and boy did I leave satiated! We got their house special #1, which is a make-your-own rolls dish, it was definitely enough food for two adults. I really liked that it came not only with the standard fixings (delicious BBQ ground pork skewers and pickled pork for the protein, vermicelli noodles, pickled carrots and radishes, and a nice fresh assortment of greens which included keffir lime and mint leaves), but also crispy fried rice rolls and the most delicious dipping sauce! I also got the banh beo, you get ten little ones per order. I liked that the size of each isnt huge so you get more shrimp per bite 😀
Very good spring rolls and dishes local to Central Vietnam (and hence less well-known overseas especially). I lived in Vietnam for 14 years, having traveled to different regions of the country, and I gotta say the food here is fresh and authentic. I also feel more confident that the people in the kitchen also speak (one of the) Central dialects - they probably know what theyre doing!
Best known for their pork grill rolls, either self roll or order pre made. Always have a good time when i have the chance to stop by. The fresh herbs, the vermicelli noodle, the sweet and sour carrot & daikon with the crunchy egg roll skin, what a combination. Other than that most other dish is average.
Their grilled pork spring rolls are the ish! You can DIY the spring rolls. (roll them yourselves) $19.99 for two people with 8 total spring rolls. (its called the House Special #1 and comes in a bowl shaped like a boat) I prefer to have them already rolled/made for me so whateva floats your boat...pun intended.ha!
I love the nem nuong spring rolls that you can roll yourself. I know people rave about the sauce, but Im not a fan personally. Their other food items seem good as well, but I always get the spring rolls when I come here.
Service was definitely extremely slow. The restaurant was a bit dirty and it looked like some food was kept in unsanitary conditions. I would give food mediocre at best. The pork in the spring rolls reminded me of dogfood, i couldnt eat them. The marinated chicken seemed unusually low quality as well.
If you love Vietnamese food. You should come to this place I love its spring rolls. Its made especially for meat-lovers and vegetarians. Had other Vietnamese dishes for you to eat. I especially love Ban Beo. Its so delicious.
Terrible food. Chao Tom Cuon had strips of deep-fried shrimp instead of the typical sugarcane shrimp. Banh Beo was meh, lacks flavor. Disappointed. Will not recommend this place even to my worst enemy.
This place gets better and better. please, go here and make sure this gem stays open - its one of the most interesting southeast Asian restaurants in the area and serves some neat regional specialties you cant get anywhere else. Called and placed 1 small party tray in advance and when I was there to pick up they said they were to busy to complete my party tray. They ask for your contact number and pickup time while you place your order. If they couldnt make it on time a courtesy call would have been nice. They never called and didnt even care. Poor customer service. The guy there that actually speaks English is RUDE. Drove from Roseville, CA just to waste my time.
Bhan beo is famous for this place and their grilled spring roll.This is a typical Asian place, don’t expect too much. I would still go back here to try the other menu.
Wonderful food from the middle part of Vietnam. Every single dish is good, from their traditional Nem Nuong rolls to their fish noodle soup. We stop by here whenever were coming from or going to Sacramento. When we arrive home after a flight this is the comfort food that welcomes us home. The store is usually packed and theyve finally opened a second location in Elk Grove.

The eastern edge of Florin is dotted with Vietnamese restaurants supplied by the local immigrant community. Quan Nem Ninh Hoa is the best of the best.The food here is fresh and spicy and features many Vietnamese classics including, pho and bun cha. In spite of the tremendous quality, the prices here are dirt cheap. There are lots of great dishes to sample here, so get one of their large sharing platters if you’re eating with friends.Hot tip – try their Spring Rolls, they’re famous in Sacramento.
Good but overpriced. And the older lady that took my order over the phone, was a typical vietnamese lady who spoke something badly about me after she took my order and hung up. She was frustrated because of her limited english, which made it hard for her to take my order. My friend and I just laughed it off, but believe it was unprofessional of her.
Stay away from this place if you have more than 6 people in your party! We had the worst experience! Our foods came out in three waves with 10 minutes in between. Two tables next to ours got their foods before ours even though they sat down after us. We asked two servers and they blamed on the kitchen without attempting checking in for us.My son’s dish never showed up and we had to leave after seeing the other table got his exact dish! Just a poorly managed restaurant. Not worth the drive or headache.

The food is pretty flavorful so I usually dont need sauce, but the sauce is still bonus.
Great food at a reasonable price. Friendly local community crowd. Very busy with tightly placed tables and minimal decor or atmosphere. But I will definitely go back for the cuisine!

You get a stack of dried skins that you dip in warm water, then put together with lettuce, herbs, grilled skewers of meat, picked daikon, crispy fried sticks, and more. Try and wrap it tight after overstuffing it, dip in delicious sauce and hoisin then enjoy. Fun and delicious.
MUST get their DIY wraps. Super fun experience and theyre so fresh and tasty. If youre not up for wrapping your own it is slightly cheaper to order them premade :)

I found this place on google while traveling. I ordered nem nuong and ban xeo. The ban xeo was pretty good and came with tons of greens! Too many places are skimpy on the herbs and lettuce which is really a crucial blend with ban xeo. The fish sauce could be a bit more tangy and spicy. Nonetheless, the ban xeo was a 4 star. The nem nuong was pretty good, but could have been better, mainly i think the sauce was missing something. When i come back to cali, we go to westminster in orange county for the really good nem nuong. All in all, this is a 3.75 star place. The freshness is a solid 5 though. And considering my meal cost just $16 for all that i ordered, this is a winner.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area, where the pork in the house combination (aka make it your own spring rolls) is almost up there in quality like Brodards in southern california. The only issue i had was i felt the orange sauce and fish sauces for the Banh Beo they provided were watered down. Please dont do that owners!

Really tasty food but we went on a Sunday and it took us almost an hour to get our food from when we sat down. We had to get it to go because we ran out of time and had to be somewhere.
If you are a person of color I suggest not coming here. They don’t like to provide good customer service to people of color. I will mostly likely will never come here again which sucks because I’ve been coming here for YEARS but with what happened today(11/25/19) I’m done.

It looked appetizing but the nem should be grilled longer and the sauce was a bit bland and pasty. The veggies and bánh hỏi were plentiful and fresh though. The bún thịt nướng was decent but the grilled pork was too fatty and also should be grilled longer. Service was ok. 2 unisex restrooms.

I have not tried that. They do such a nice job of making spring rolls for you that Im happy to leave it to them. Everything I have tried is very good and wonderfully fresh.The service is interested and attentive and particularly solicitous about potential misunderstanding on the part of non-Vietnamese patrons. The surroundings are clean and comfortable but rather spartan reflecting their busy take out business.We keep coming back.

The parking lot sucks right now. Theres construction and barely any parking so keep that in mind if you plan to dine in.

2023-02-06 03:47:35Amazingly fun to assemble the spring rolls with your date. We got the spring rolls and the soup, the rolls were very tasty but more fun than anything else. The soup however was very fishy. For dessert we got the Che ba mou, it was strange but very tasty, would have been better without all the ice chunks but still tasty.

Way too much food but all of it was delicious. So many different flavors! The spring rolls were amazing because you get to roll them yourself. The savory crêpe is also good. I highly recommend eating here.
