Had lunch with my girlfriend here. Nothing fancy, just straightforward sandwiches with delicious choices. Pictured are Cal-Italiano and the Jane (tuna sandwich with walnuts and marinated red onion. I had the Chipotle ranch flavored hand-made potato chips, my girlfriend had the falafel. Its not too bad for approximately 20 dollars per person, including bottled drinks. The random item counter is a definite must-see. There are lots of extremely random items trapped in a transparent resin countertop. Definite return spot in the future.

We are glad we stopped by for lunch, the staff was wonderful and we enjoyed hanging out with them! Sandwiches were delicious, we had the muffelata and KSR dip. We will be back soon!

First time trying out this place was a few weeks ago. Grabbed 1 of the combo meals, the dust bowl was its name i believe, Sandwich was good, i asked for no greens, and no sauce, and was made correctly. Tots were not what i expected, not your normal frozen tater tots, these are fresh potato chunks, really good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely try this place again, and recommend that you also try them out.

Really cute place with nice employees. The atmosphere and aesthetic of the building was very inviting, and the menu was small but creative. That being said, the food did not reflect that. My husband got the Patty Melt, my brother got the Sausage Mary, and I got the Cali-Italiano. We were all disappointed with the taste of our respective sandwiches. They were presented well, but I’d describe the taste as “old people food”. The flavors were just…flat. Maybe it just wasn’t for us, but 3 for 3 on not enjoying our sandwiches is a strikeout to me.

Another awesome local establishment in the heart of Bakersfield. The food is unique and fresh, with not so boring sandwiches like Rubens and mufalottas. The Mac and cheese is some of the best Ive ever had, and even if thats the only thing I eat from here again, I would be satisfied. The staff and management are fantastic, and the decor and seating is open and interesting. This is a perfect sandwich shop for the area and I hope they stick around for a long while!

If you blink, you might miss it, but it is worth every penny to stop and try. I actually intended to try the heirloom and Henderson sandwich, however the season of tomatoes are coming to an end so I settled for the tofu Bahn MI,(They have plenty of yummy Sandwhiches with meat) with a side of Chipotle Buttermilk chips. Neither of them disappointed. Chips are handcut and homemade, so not one chip is made alike. The sandwich was perfect and Jammed pack with flavor.May God continue to bless this business. They are gifted. ❤️

I’m mostly speechless bc my mouth is full of happiness so let me swallow and share more. Miriam truly knows what she’s doing combining flavors with science in the kitchen, from traditional to her experimental options or the mixture of the two. The all local and house made ingredients will make your taste buds sparkle with joy. You’re bound to find the best version of your favorite sandwich here or better so close your eyes and take your pick!Today I had the proscuitto & turkey with the homemade thin, crispy & flavorful sour cream & onion chips and I’m finishing my second half for pre-dinner. Im in awe of how good this tastes even after sitting in the fridge for 5 hrs. Satiated & rejuvenated🤤🫶🏻☺️

So good. SO GOOD! We got a Turkey Cubanito, KFC sandwich, and some falafel, and we devoured it all. Can’t wait to try more of their menu. I loved looking through all the art and books while waiting for my food and jamming out to their tunes. Highly recommend!

To be honest this place was very disappointing. Paid $30 for two sandwich combos and our sides didn’t even come with any sauce. My half sandwich had a skimpy piece of chicken. I wish the KFC had more sauce on it. The bread on the sandwich was the best part though.
