We absolutely love this place and always take our family from out of town here. Food is amazing, plenty of options and you dig in with your hands. Its a fun family experience and well worth going out of your way to visit.
Had the pork ramen Shoyu and pork friex rice. Was delicious but next time Ill ask for spice, more corn and bean sprouts in my soup.
Passion fruit green tea is my new passion. So refreshing! I tried the the veggie option with Tom yum soup base, rice & the house dipping sauce, which was a nice smokey spicy kick to the amazing meal. Service is exceptional. Highly recommended!
Excellent service and delicious food!Ive been wanting to find a really great ramen place, but everywhere Ive been has left me disappointed.It was easy to ordered Thai ice tea, gyoza, pork belly bun, shrimp chow main, seafood pot with chicken broth- everything we had was very delicious! I highly recommend this place and will be a regular here.
If you like hot & spicy soup👍👍👍this is a good place for you. But you need to wait for a while, theres only one waitress. Worth waiting, lots of choices. Love the fresh coconut & sesame balls 💜💜💜

Fantastic place for Pho, the server was fast helpful and very attentive when explaining everything they had on the menu, the coconut they tap into so you can drink was awesome! They also serve various Asian beers. Ill definitely be checking this out again when we go visit again. The place is clean!
I was skeptical but my 15-yr-old son found this place on Google and insisted we go. He was right. Great experience.We ordered the Ragin’ Special and the Beef both hot with Satay. I got the rice and he got the noodles. He also ordered the Lychee tea w/ boba 🧋Our server was friendly and everything was great. My son wants to plan a “Hot Pot Party” at our house where we make a giant hot pot and everyone shares. I can say after my experience at Ragin Pot I am interested!
I came for a quick to-go order, and walked in to a computer system issue that would normally cause stress for staff and guests. The two people who greeted me were both professional and kind, and immediately eased any stress that could have been present. The woman (I am guessing owner) walked me through vegan options (yes Im that person too) and made my experience a perfect one! As a multi-unit restaurant manager and restaurant consultant, I was absolutely impressed with the handling of the situation, and had to post a review. Keep up the great hospitality guys, Ill be back!
I love the Tom Yum flavor hot pot coming out boiling hot. The Banh Mi or Vietnamese sandwich is one of the best I have ever tasted. I also love the pork belly Bao. This place also have variety of other soups and appetizers that are pretty good. Prices are good and reasonable while service is excellent.
My son is an avid coffee drinker and he was in luck! We went to the 805 Night Market hoping to find some iced coffee and this vendor was probably the only one with coffee options. Well it hit the spot. Perfect
Not just a pho place, they have all around good food and a friendly staff.My wife and I got take out here the other day because she was craving soup. I agreed because they also had egg rolls and Banh Mi. The staff was super friendly and helpful after their online ordering system went down.We got take out so only saw the inside shortly but it was clean and orderly. The theme is fun and it definitely looks like a place Id sit down for lunch.The food was great! I got the beef Banh Mi and was surprised of its quality and depth of flavor. The veggies were fresh and the beef was tender and flavorful. All on a fresh roll. Im excited to try the other flavors. Also, these are large sandwiches, about an 8 from Quiznos. The egg rolls were good as usual. Unexpectedly the shrimp wonton rolls were great! Large fresh shrimp in a crispy wonton wrapper, getting those again. My wife, with her abnormal love of spicy food, was able to get them to make her soup hotter than I would be able to eat (and I like spicy). She loved it though and wants to go every day. If youre a normal person their hot is a good spicy soup.While picking up I found that they offered a hot pot to go menu. This looks like a blast and the wife and I will by trying it next time. I added a picture of that menu since I didnt see it on her before we ordered.Overall its a great place that I would highly recommend for soup and much more.

Ragin pot continues to be a regular in our rotation. the owners are really passionate about the place and the food, and they always go the extra mile to provide great customer service. they always treat me and my family as one of their own. the food continues to satisfy and I hope it continues to be mainstay in the community.~~always excellent. the satay base is a personal favorite. service is always top notch.
First time eating here and it was very cozy and a lot of seats. But the food was okay, I ordered the fried rice with Spam and beef, the the fried rice was Bland I had to put some of their homemade chili sauce which made it good. We also ordered the hot pot which was all right also you have to put the chili sauce to make it better. Other than that I dont think Im coming back Im just not very pleased with what I ate. But you might want to try it yourself and have a different opinion. Thank you and have a good day and enjoy. No pictures to post not worth it.

We had a wonderful experience here for dinner tonight. A member of our party had a shellfish allergy and the owner walked us through what options she could have, even altered some of the recipes, and was very conscientious of our needs. The hot pot was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully! Wish we lived in town so I could eat here more often.

I randomly pick out a new restaurant and was lucky enough to find this one!I ordered the chicken Pho,yellow curry with chicken,chicken chowmane and egg roles,everything was so fresh and delicious and the staff was very friendly,I will definitely be adding them to my favorites list,I havent even gotten to the desserts yet but the fried banana ice cream dish looks awesome!

Everything we got was excellent. We had garlic edamame, chicken wings, and hot pots. They were all very flavorful and tasty. Good service too. We will be going back to this place for sure.
Wanted to come bring my gf and sister to experience this place since I love to try new foods was waiting a couple months to come try this place since I work so much. However When we went to the restaurant the moment they opened which the sign said at 12p.m it was still closed there was no holiday, no event, just a regular Sunday. (03/06/2022) Waited for another 10 minutes because I understand life happens. However, still nobody opened the restaurant. After that I just left. Really disappointed and kinda iffy about it now. Makes you wonder what else they they’re not punctual with….
I did a pick up order on July 1, 2020. I ordered 2 raging pot special and 1 fried rice. The food lacked flavor that day. I called to talk to the owner and instead of apologizing and making me a new order he made me feel incorrect for my taste buds. He stated he was tasting the soup and fried rice and to him it tasted fine. Mind you I have been ordering carry out from this place 3 times since the pandemic. I loved this place but that day the food wasnt great and the owner didnt handle this accordingly. They dont take costumers complaint very well. They make you feel like youre in the wrong and they wont replace the food order or give you a refund. The owner just makes you feel youre in the wrong and he told me next time you order let me know if it taste better. Im no longer ordering from here because your complaint isnt taken serious and all you had to offer me was to let you know if it taste better the next time I order.

Had lunch with my son today, first time for both! I gave 5 stars because they hit the mark on all points! Warm greeting, attentive and knowledgeable staff, FANTASTIC Yellow curry with chicken, maybe the best I ever had! The portion was generous, the salad and spring roll included, was just the right touch and made for a great presentation as well as also being delicious! The price was phenomenal! I have eaten this dish many times all over the country, so feel that Im a good judge. Just an overall fantastic experience! Five stars well deserved! Well be back and would recommend to any and everyone!
This place has the best pho Ive ever had. The experience is nice with good ambience and A surprise when the pho comes out with a fure under the bowl! Had a great time and will definitely be back to try the hotpot!
This was a good place but didnt wow us. 4 stars for being different than most of the local fare, 5 stars for broth flavor, but 2 stars for the imitation crab stuff they used in the shrimp pot.
Food can be hit or miss but the hotpot will definitely be boiling hot. There is typically only one person working so it can be a little slow at times.
If I cAn give this place more than 5 stars I would.Food are always delicious,fresh ingredients and clean.I have a sensitive stomach,Which this place never cause my tummy any problem.Staffs are nice and take very good care of us.Don’t forget to try macaron ice cream after your meal because that’s a must!
Had a nice vist with Stacy, I believe the owner. Family owned sound like. Talk travel, but the meal was the comfort basis to out conversation. Asian soups I have enjoyed in Thailand and Vietnam. Stacys family is from Vietnam. I love soups. Especially ones with lots veggies and tofu. Fresh ingredients and friendly chat. I highly recommend this place.

Just finished my yellow curry at Ragin Pot. Super delicious! My way fe also loved her beef fried rice and her hotpot and (iced) Thai coffee.
Its a shame I waited too long before giving this place a chance. The inside of the resturant is pretty nice and the food is very tasty. Ive ordered from this place at least three times and it has not dissapointed. I hope I can eat here with my mom in the future.
I love this style of cooking, so theres a rather high bar restaurants need to meet for my expectation, and while Ragen Pot is good, it doesnt hit it out of the park for me. Primarily, theyre just too expensive for the quantity and quality of food they provide. Its delicious, but Ill only come back if someone else is paying.

Barely decent.not exactly hot pot the way most places do it. they bring everything prepared and it’s more just a warm soup that gets hot at your table, not like most traditional hot pot that’s more like KBBQ with stock.the way they do it here isn’t bad, but if they’re not gonna let the customer control the meat selections or keep a rolling boil, then they need to make the “hot pot” way better than it is as it stands. it’s not very good at all.
This was the best hot pot I ever had and I recommend the Ragin Special. Not only is the food really yummy but the staff is very nice and attentive. Try the Passion Fruit Tea btw, its a must when you go. I was hesitant about ordering kimchi here as Im used to Korean style, but it was a great decision. It had just the right amount of tarte and acidity, not too bitter.

A pleasant surprise to find this only Hot Pot restaurant in the Port Hueneme area, or maybe even the whole of Ventura County.The place has a welcoming vibe. The tables, chairs, floor and the walls are simple, neat and adds to the character of the place.The food, an Asian Fusion Hot Pot, was really good. The Raging Special Hot Pot was flavorful but not overwhelming. I liked the egg roll and it reminded me of the Filipino dish Lumpia. The Fried Chicken Wings was soft inside, crunchy outside and not too salty.The restrooms are clean and well stocked.The parking is free and shared with the other tenants of the plaza.The owner, John, was very friendly and accommodating.I highly recommend this restaurant for your next meal.
Individualized hot pot dishes. Extremely delicious and filling. They have a variety of choices to customize your hot pot. Vegetarian dishes are great as well. Im a frequent visitor and bring friends to show them this great place.

When you first come to this place you think its just a pho restaurant. After trying some of their other dishes you realize that they are definitely a restaurant to be thought of as top tier. I cant even begin to explain the food coma that Im in right now from their awesome spicy drunkin noodles. Ordered 2 pots and yellow chicken curry with rice. At the end I asked them to put all 3 to go. They missed the curry and said itd already been tossed but was assured theyd make a new one. Upon arriving hm and opening it realized it was the same food they said had been tossed.i know this wasnt fresh made because of my teeth marks I left in one of the carrots and the ratio of rice to curry I had mixed. Pulled it out of trash and microwaved it to pass it off to me as a fresh mix of the exact way I had combined the two? Not worth the risk. First and last time I go there.
Again, another place to try if you are not hungry, still confused why it took over an hour to receive food that WE, the whole table had to cook. After a friend choked on his cold shrimp it was the nail in the coffin. If you have 2-3 hours to kill and want to enjoy no one taking your order except to empty your wallet by the sum of $30 at the register, then by all means add this amazing restaurant to your bucket list.
Delicious, great mix of ramen, hot pot, pho type dishes. The pork Bao were delicious if you love char-su and Manapua its a little taste of home from the islands. Staff are friendly and its one of the rare places that are not afraid to serve you a raw slice of beef and let you determine when its done.
Their menu is constantly changing not in a good way. The whole place smells like gas because of the way they cook the meal. But over all the experience is really fun and the food is delicious . Try their soy sauce, its really good.

The waiter/host was attentive and made sure we had what we ordered.The seafood hotpot was incredible. good amount of ingredients. And you can order more of specific things to add in separately as you eat. The beef broth ramen was reallt delicious my husband enjoyed it. It was a perfect final meal for my trip to California. Please give this place a try!

I had a last minute bday dinner for my 12 year old daughter and he allowed us to decorate, cook our own hot pots at the table shabby shabby style, bring in a cake and stayed open for us to sing happy birthday after dinner. We also ordered some dessert there as their animal face dessert buns are a must get!! The taro buns were also delicious and a beautiful lavender color. John was extremely attentive to us from start to finish. Please try this place everything is so fresh and the broths and veggies are so delicious 😋 5 stars Happy to have some good new food in the neighborhood.

I love love love Japanese ramen noodles so that’s alr a point on the board for me. They offer four heat levels, which is another point of the board for me. I got the Miso the third hottest. I immediately had to get out of my jacket and could suddenly breathe clearly but it wasn’t so hot I was nervous to ever try the hottest level. The egg was regular, not particularly flavorful but cooked well. The pork was tender and fell apart easily.The service was nice and fast and didn’t kick anyone out at the time it was supposed to close.

2023-01-15 23:32:09Its January right now, and the weather is cold and wet. Perfect time for Hot Pot! Such a comfort food and fun to eat, served in a sizzling bowl over an open flame. The house special has a little bit of everything so you can pick and choose your next bite. Medium spicy is just right IMO its warming without being overpowering. Had the red bean buns for dessert and they were excellent, lightly sweet, soft, and chewy.The server was polite and attentive, although they only had one server covering the whole front of house when I was there.

First of we walked in 20 before closing and the gentleman greeted us with open arms. Hands down the best service Ive had in a long time. Now lets get to the food. I didnt know what to expect because Ive never had a hot pot before but it was delicious. I cant wait to go back and try all the things on the menu. They also had a cute little store with yummy treats.

2023-10-01 03:14:24This was a nice atmosphere I was expecting great food and service. However upon ordering the server was unable to accommodate for any substitutions. This isnt a good spot for Ramen and the Hotpot was just different. They charge extra for everything but are ok if you ask them to leave something out. They use a lot of filler and not much meat or substance to the hotpot. To save broth They add all of the meat and ingredients to the bowl for you. I dont recommend this place to be honest I had higher expectations and was let down. Even after I ordered 2 hotpots and didnt like mine. So in addition I was going to order a Ramen until they told me it came with pork and even if I didnt want the pork they would charge an extra 5 dollars for chicken. But were ok if I didnt want the pork. Dont recommend. The server wasnt even able to help me or even seem like she cared or would try to make my experience better. 🙃 no Bueno in my opinion. Dont come here.
