Store seems old fashioned. Kind of a different layout, but we were able to find what we needed. They have you leave all your groceries in the cart and they take them out as they are scanning. Someone bagged our groceries, which we like. The customer in front of us asked the cashier for a box for her 6 bottles of wine, the cashier just said it should be by the wine. I saw them so grabbed a couple for her. The cashier seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else but there, but we get it, not everyone loves their job.

We are new to this store. Maybe its California, but we feel it cost us a little more than Save Mart. We even used the stores app but still seemed expensive. The cashier has to pull all of your items out of the cart, and it seems like a very slow process.The stores location seemed nice, and I loved the larger shade trees in the parking lot.

Has a lot of ear unusual items if you need them. But lately, it has been out of a lot of things, and the vegetables are not as good as they used to be. Been going there for 23 years. Also, Raleys is much higher than the other grocery stores, but for specialty items, its great. Or a quick need would not shop there for groceries overall. Service is great there.

Im from Lathrop and I only get my cake from Raleys. Staff is so nice and attentive. Their cakes are the BEST. Moist and decorated beautiful. I will only get my cake from Raleys in Manteca. Couple from Lathrop.

This store often has only a single cashier. I often have to wait in line. Last time I went in the morning, they had no cashiers. Very frustrating to have to wait every time. I would rather drive across town to ANY other store. Its unfortunate because this Raleys is so close.

Its quite clean, it has a quality food, workers so nice, but cash register mostly slow or most time got to do self checkout service. Still so good to shop compare to other stores. There almost nothing g you can say its not good, yeah all have to good price for this.

This is for the rude lady at the deli everytime I go in she is so rude the way she speaks to me and others is unacceptable if they replaced her this would be the perfect store because everybody else is so nice and helpful everybody except her it feels like she hates her job so I dont know why she works there if it wernt for the deli lady this store would be the best store ever clean good variety every other person is great always smiling and ready to help in anyway possible so this 1star should be a minus 5 for the rude deli lady

This unfortunate, elderly lady has made horrible racist comments in front of customers and her co-workers. NOT professional at all. The best thing about this store is the atmosphere. People are more self behaved in here. If you go into savemart or food4less, strangers are gonna wanna jump on your back like a monkey and ride you to your destination. If gang stalking exists, they dont do it in Raleys. Its got a richer air about it. An elegance and sophistication. You pay extra for that. You know you do and you like it. They also have a sushi chef and its legit.If you broke dont go for much, and just wander around and enjoy the lavishness of what could be. I certainly know I do. Great store, great workers, great atmosphere, but bring lots of monies. They absolutely want that money. Oh and have yourself a seat in the entrance way. You deserve it.

This review is for Michelle in the Deli section.I came in this morning for a sandwich. It was late morning so there was no one in line. Michelle helped me. I wanted a tuna sandwich but unfortunately they dont have tuna so I got a ham sandwich. I prefer less meat and more veggies, and Michelle made my sandwich perfect!The ingredients and the bread were fresh and delicious.Michelle had a great smile and was professional and very friendly. Clean, upscale grocery store. They have all the variety of items at this store. Always steadily busy here. A little more pricey than Save Mart for example, but they have a good rewards program and good coupons with legit discounts.

Raleys on Union and Lathrop Rd in Manteca has been running out of a few things more often now. I am lucky if I find Lactaid and orange sherbet and crackers and yaddi yadda... but as far as customer service, they are #1 they all are very nice, respectful and very helpful. They have showed me more than once that they care about their customers.. yes, it can be expensive, but where isnt it expensive. I could go down a bit further to save a couple of bucks, but Ill just be putting those couple of bucks in gas that I use to drive to save those couple of bucks... 🤔🤔😳😵‍💫

Well over priced! Employees were not friendly, seemed more snobby.You only get the advertised deals if you sign up to be a member. You can do it online directly from your phone, it took me about 1 minute. Its really only worth the deals other than that a small pack of sliced cheese was about $5 I can get 2 packs for that price at Save Mart or Wal Mart. Forget Raleys unless you dont mind getting ripped off and paying extra for who knows what. They have no business charging so much for everyday essentials. Raleys? More like Rip off!

Great customer service so far. Havent tried their sandwiches yet but they have good reviews. Deli is well organized. They feature Columbus meats.Huge store with lots of options. Well stocked.Prices are a bit high but their circular features some good stock up sale items.Great wine selection.Will try the bakery soon.

Theres not really much to say other then its convenient. Right next to the neighborhood I live in and is in a little plaza. The store has all the essentials when it comes to healthy eating. I was never one to embrace it but, a majority of the is based on fresher foods. The only section that can match its size the bread and deli sections. People here are nice. The shoppers are nice. Overall, a nice place.

I shop here whenever I can. The deli section is amazing by itself. The meat is always good, and they have a great selection as well. The craft beer section has grown leaps and bounds in the last year or so. And their produce is way better than their local competition.

Staff is always very friendly. They probably have one of the best butchers in town. Fish is delivered on Monday and Wednesdays.They dont have as much stock as other stores and prices are higher then Target or Walmart but produce is of much better quality.

Have a sandwich made fresh with a side of salad.Hot fried chicken with all the fixins!This store is stocked with just about anything you need. We got a Turkey and a Ham Thanksgiving prepared dinner. Thanks to ALL the excellent Raleys employees for being there and patient with the customers.Food was very good and our crew at home demolished it. Including the pies and other desserts.

Store is huge! 1st time here, and was only around this part of Lathrop only because I needed to pick up photos across the street at CVS. My better half is preparing Ribeye steak dinner, and we needed garlic and pepper to make it real tasty.The worker lady, wearing a SF Giants Jersey, was really, really helpful because she didnt just tell me where the item was, she walked all the way to the aisle where it was. I also picked up a very special item that was away from the grocery area, and she helped walk me to it which was a ways away. I really appreciate her help, because that is what makes a world a better place, one person at a time.Great place to shop!

Good clean store with helpful staff but if ypu are not careful they tend to overprice their groceries when you can go down the street and get the same thing for less. They do have higher quality meat and vegetables but we buy from the ads for the best price.Update!I will be shopping here more often and I do take advantage of the $5.00.Monday deals when I can. I appreciate your feedback and I will stay aware of the bargins and the quality service. I bought deli sandwiches on Friday and the young man that prepared our food did a very commendable job and was extremely polite and informative. We left with a good feeling about the people and the store. Thank you.

First impressions when walking through the door is the smell. It smells like a pet store. This place is very limited on what they have, being it is a small grocery also. Its also very pricey on their items. They have peets coffee in there but it is definitely under utilized. The deli items are good for quick stops but not necessarily the greatest on taste. The staff is decent however my 2 star rating is due to the limited selection of items, price, and overall presentation of the store.

I went in to get a cake and Anastasia was in the bakery and she helped me out. She was the sweetest employee I have ever encountered with at any store and helped me out with a last minute cake. Old Asian lady at self check out who worked here allowed someone to cut me in line just because I went to the card only one after she told me it was open. I told her I wanted to do cash and she said “too late, him first,” and let the next guy cut in line and told me to go back to the start of line and wait for a cash one. Terrible customer service. But usually a good store overall.

Every times we go to that Raleys, we always have an excellent service. The lady working at the meat department cut our meat to accommodate our needs and Collin in the fruits and veggies department took his time to answered all question our daughter asked him. He also give us good advices on how to pick the right fruits and give us many fruits suggestions considering our taste. All employees are friendly, smiley and helpful!Thank you to make our shopping trip a better experience!

I live close by so I pop in often. Always clean, staff friendly and helpful. On the higher end as far as prices, however I can find things there that I cant find anywhere else, their produce is excellent. I enjoy the gift, card and seasonal/camping etc. aisles filled with OMG I didnt know I needed it, but I need it now kinda things.

Ive been told when I asked about a product that nobody can get it, but I can go down the street and get it. So I only go there when I want something that only they sell. We come here at LEAST 1-3 times a week. I’ve always loved coming here for the high quality produce/meat, vast variety and wonderful customer service. All in all, you get what you pay for and I absolutely do not mind spending more for higher standards in customer service.Last night was a completely different story.I came in after work to get our weekend groceries, everything was normal as per usual. The guy who rung me up was literally the rudest human I’ve dealt with at this store. EVER. The cashier, Troy, immediately gave me attitude from the moment he started ringing me up. No hello, just attitude. Then, he claimed he “couldn’t hear me” yet literally STOPPED scanning my groceries to TALK to the bagger. Okay... I thought you couldn’t hear? So unprofessional. Just literally stopped scanning to talk to the bagger about work BS. I get you don’t want to be there TROY but just ring me up so I can leave. I have never, ever encountered any employees at Raley’s who have ever been rude to me and like I said, I’ve been coming here religiously for YEARS. I’m so disappointed in the lack of customer service. If I wanted to deal with a human with poor customer service skills I would just shop at Save Mart, but given how bad last night was I would say it’s on par with Wal Marts low standards.A few months ago we decided to try Hello Fresh and I loved the convenience but missed the fantastic customer service from Raley’s. After my interaction last night, I will be sending my business back to Hello Fresh and Save Mart for other miscellaneous groceries. I refuse to support a business that hires incompetent humans like Troy. Do better Raley’s.

I like that they unload your cart for you at this store. I have my favorite checkers too. Most everyone is cheerful with the exception of the deli. I just do NOT understand why several of the people that work in this department are very close to rude. You tell them how you want something sliced and they act like are putting them out. I ask too see the slice and e get an eye roll. Really, is it that hard to work in the deli? I always pray I get a nice person.

Expensive, and selection is limited. Decent produce, but equivalent is available elsewhere for less. Its convenient for NW Manteca which draws me there for small, last-minute purchases, but Save Mart isnt much further and wont dent your wallet as hard.

Had a great Santa Cruz sandwhich. Waiting time was a bit long just because they were crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I was looking for fresh baked cookies and they were completely out. I asked the bakery department if they had more and the nice woman pulled fresh baked cookies from the back. Store appearance is good. The store does have a odd smell not sure why?? I shop at multiple Raleys and had never encountered that weird smell. Other than that its a great place to stop get some quick groceries and a bite

It would take forever and a reality show to explain this place. Just come on down have a peaceful protest weve got pallets of water at the door in case you start getting thirsty and need to get something to drink theres plenty of toilet paper on the wall paper towels when that runs out and if worse comes to worst we have napkins and cloths that we use as masks provided by the company themselves. Yay Im an employee number starts with 0 + 0 imagine what the other ones are in between.

The customer service is outstanding here, the employees always make you feel welcome and never make you feel guilty for asking where a product is located. Also, the bakery items taste as good as an expensive bakery, I recommend $2.99 the slice of lemon cake, the slice of opera cake, and I promise you will never taste better donuts..you must try the donuts !! The hot deki has excellent fried chicken at an affordable price, my kids get it every time we go here...the Raleys store brand products are better quality than our beloved name brands; here are a few stand outs..try the Raleys brand of bottled water, thst water is what made me a dedicated Raleys shopper, also try the Raleys brand of cheddar cheese slices, I also enjoy the Raleys chicken because it is packaged so neatly; the package doesnt tear and stays neatly in my freezer. Raleys brand white bread for $1.48 is a steal and their 100% whole what bread for $1.98 is also a steal, tastes great and is soft and has replaced my former breads that cost double the price.The Raleys produce is also top notch, fresh and best of the crop, bananas are never too ripe and green onions are on the larger side...Raleys can be expensive but if you know which products to buy you can still save money . The quality of items and excellent customer service are enough for me to do most of my shopping at Raleys

Major problems in the deli. Watched deli staff come out from behind counter after washing hands and gloving up and pick up items and return to deli, take food items out of bag and make sandwiches without changing gloves. Same person kept pushing his sleeves up with same gloves and touching arms. When I asked another deli worker to wash his hands he refused. I just discussed the deli with management on Sunday and today, Tuesday, bigger problems.

Great grocery store with high quality products! Started Whole 30 3 weeks ago and Raleys has been a life saver with its selection of organic produce and meats. It also has a large section of raw foods and even the Raleys brand has proved itself to be on the healthier side with little to none added sugars and chemicals. Raleys is a bit on the pricey side (not as low as Food4Less, but not as expensive as Safeway), but they score points for great customer service, store cleanliness, and convenience with their eCart service. They are also unionized and employees are well paid, so supporting those jobs in the community is something everyone can agree on. Id definitely recommend this store if you live in the neighborhood.

Quality over quantity. You can assume that for the price of reg items some where else you might be able to get one here, how ever the one here that you might be able to get is going to be a great item. As well as with that one great item will come a quality set standard for good employee to customer experience and that will add satisfaction to shopping experience Fasho.As far as super markets go, Raleys is definitely going to average on the costly side in comparison. Granted that they do have a weekly add for the local resident consumers. I am sure that if I shopped their enough Id probably have all my coupons and time sensitive offers dialed in enough to potentially disagree with my opinion about the height in over all prices here at your local Manteca Raleys. How ever I still give this place a thumbs up because you are not going to have to question if your buying some cheap imitation of what ever name brand your after. Raleys is about that quality. This is the only place I can find sparkling hop water consistently. I had to go to a specialty beverage store before and as someone who is allergic to alcohol its nice to not have to walk past a bunch of beer to get to my new favorite summer drink. I hope more grocery stores start carrying H2Ops and/or Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher.

Checkers are lazy especially the blonde with the glasses, she’s standing there at the register with nothing to do then says she’s on break, another time with another blonde she can’t help me with my voucher! I thing you better hire younger people that need a job but there’s more . Standing in line at the deli with I count 5 others for 5 minutes and nobody there to assist.

I would love places like this a lot more if they had more ready to go meals that are lactose free. I can only eat 1 of the 30 salads they sell and its always sold out. Probably because its the only one for lactose intolerant people like me. Make more options its very disappointing to see that when its the most common food allergy.

They are just too expensive. Example; Quaker Overnight Oatmeal. Love it. They charge $2.49 per container. Amazon sells it $.80 a container. I get 3 for the price they charge for one. Great store but really need to stop gouging the customers.

Raleys is my go to store. They have such a variety beyond just groceries. The store and the parking lot are clean and well lit. There is a Pharmacy within the store as well. It makes it so convenient to pick up your meds while shopping.

It was my first time at a Raleys, it was also my birthday! I am by nature a happy person and double so it was my B/D. I didnt know the way the check out line was, I was use to putting stuff on the moving belt.I was picked on by the customers, accused of being drunk and actually asked to leave by the check out person.I left in tears and never went back.
