2023-10-01 22:52:20Came here while on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised to find legit ramen in the area.Atmosphere felt like a true Japanese izakaya. Note: we went on a Saturday night at 7pm and it was pretty busy - most people needed reservations or it was a one hour wait.Food:Chicken Karage was amazing. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.Creamy tomato ramen was creamy indeed and the blistered tomatos packed a punch.Spicy Tantanmen ramen was delicious too. Compared to the tomato ramen, it was heavier in flavor with a hint of Sichuan pepper in the soup.

2023-10-06 06:06:22This used to be a favorite place of mine however the last few visits were pretty disappointing. There are not many vegetarian options to begin with and the ones they do have can be hit or miss. Allergens are not clearly labeled and servers sometimes are not prepared well to answer them. My husband is allergic to most seafood/shellfish and we had asked prior to ordering if the ramen had any of that and initially were told no. We asked again after my husband starting having a reaction and they double checked with the kitchen to let us know that most dishes have fish or oyster sauce in it, but you wouldnt know unless asked. On our last visit, we tried a different rice option and it was just pretty disappointing. For folks with no dietary restrictions its probably a great place, just not if you do.

2023-01-06 20:35:50Absolutely amazing Ramen, and pretty much everything else they have on the menu. We wanted to do a surprise party for my wife and they helped arrange all of the reservations so we could have enough room for our party! Cant wait to go again!

2023-07-18 20:31:41Gaijin Ramen is a spot Ive been meaning to try for years and I finally got the chance while passing through Sebastopol. It came at no shock that the bowl of ramen I ordered was delicious. I got the shiitake miso ramen and asked for chili oil on the side. I also loved the teas I tried, the turmeric tea was wonderful and the jasmine was such a great quality tea. Loved everything I had!

2022-08-02 05:40:56I was blessed to be able to try so many of their dishes. This was my first time here and I loved it all. All the dishes in my photos were each so different and had their own unique vibe. They were all memorable.I went for lunch on the weekend andcwe sat outdoors. Our server was attentive polite and answered any questions we had about the menu items. The location is good with parking near by. If you havent tried their food you should go asap.

2022-08-31 22:29:48This place is an absolute favorite for my wife and I. Consistently great Service and Food! You cant go wrong with their namesake, Ramen. I always enjoy their Spicy Tantanmen Ramen, so much so that I order a quart of their broth to-go to keep in the freezer for a quick dinner. But the rest of the menu is delicious as well! The Tsukemono pickle plate and Kara-age Crispy Chicken with Miso Ranch are an amazing way to start any meal. Their Little Gem Salad rotates seasonally and is always worth a try, and currently features Pickled Beets and Smoked Trout with Nori Crisps.Give them a try!

2023-04-11 06:51:59I come here for the ramen but its sadly the weakest thing on the menu. Ive had every variety and spicy is the most well rounded and flavorful option. The shoyu is insanely salty and somehow paired with wakame, which doesnt create a good balance. The vegetarian is just bland and sad. Their donburi are very good and a kind of Korean Japanese fusion. Cocktails are unique and flavorful. For the price I do expect more of a consistent quality with the menu items. Overall food is okay, service is great.

2022-12-17 14:06:40When I walked in this place I felt like this is what Heaven must smell like! As a chef for over 30 years I know great food and fine dining and this place exceeds all expectations.I can’t get enough of this place, hands down the best Ramen in the North Bay and the service is out of this world. Ask to sit in Emily’s section.

2021-11-28 05:13:14Love love love this place. If you are here for ramin ask to try the broth plain first. Some of my guests felt it was too strong tasting however liked the creamy style if anything. Otherwise there are excellent other choices from pickles to rice bowls and light fair like salads. Yummy!
