The restaurant has nice decor and the owner/server was very nice. I ordered take out. I ordered pop corn chicken, chashu don, and a pork bun. I really liked the pork bun and wish it had a little more sauce on it. The pop corn chicken was good but a little garlicky for me. The chashu don was simple but I liked it. It has rice, pork chunks and green onions. Next time I will try the ramen.

Super friendly waiter and staff, very cheap but still absolutely delicious for pretty generous portions. A hidden gem of Walnut and Ill certainly be returning again in the future!

Good flavor Ramens in the neighborhood! Easy access, big parking lot, No line, No wait !!! We ordered Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, White Miso Ramen, Spicy Tonkotsu Shoyu, and Gyoza. Love their flavorful broth and attention to detail. Definitely will come back again.

Ramen / dipping ramen spot in the Vons complex of Walnut. It’s like having a local Tsujita in the ‘burbs. Credit cards accepted. Parking is easy and available in the large parking lot. Indoor dining and takeout (phone in or online) is available (no outdoor dining option).Came here on a Saturday for dinner around 7. I understand that they were understaffed, so please be patient with the waiter (there was only one for all the tables) when we went, and he seemed a bit flustered. You may need to wait a bit longer for the food to come out as well since everything seemed to be made to order, but I think it was worth the wait for the noodles alone. The noodles that come with the red miso options are super thick and chewy - almost the size of udon noodles, but with more chew. The noodles for the white miso are more like the traditional ramen size. Either way, they all were very chewy and the broth is flavorful. Note that the red miso as it stands isn’t spicy, but once you add some more chili powder, it adds a nice tang. The bowls come with one piece of meat, so it’s worth getting more meat (3 pieces for $3) on the side.Note that the waiter may ask if you want your check while you’re still eating, but it’s all good. Currently no alcohol but I believe they’re working on getting their liquor license. There is a kids meal and they do have a couple of rice options. Overall, it’s still a relatively new restaurant so I know they’re working out some kinks, but I would come back for the hefty portions and perfectly cooked noodles.

I watched Rocky’s YouTube channel and came here. Tonkotsu ramen is not suitable for me, and I didn’t see the owner on the video in the store. But the place to praise is that there is free garlic to add, and the staff is friendly. The area that needs to be improved is the problem of western sun exposure. Overall, I like the Rocky Channel, so I add one star.

The service here can do better. It was very slow to take orders despite having only a couple customers. The popcorn karage was very tasty and crispy. I went with the shio tonkotsu ramen and the broth was different from what I had expected. It’s not very rich or salty and taste like close to chicken soup. I love the chasu slices here though because the char taste was marvelous and savory and can actually speaks quality. The food did not disappoint and I’d come back again when I’m nearby. They just need to improve on the service.

It was fine, I guess? I got the spicy red miso ramen, and it was not spicy and only a little miso-y. (Though the chef mightve toned down the flavor deliberately- she didnt ask for a spice level and Im white.)Maybe if you order something else, it might be better, but I cant help but be a little disappointed.

One of my favorite ramen places. Ive been coming here since they opened. The ramen noodles are just perfect. The broth, tasty. I have tried 20 ramen places throughout orange county and LA. This my top 3. Ill be back soon.

Overall good bowl of ramen. Theres room of improvement for service and speed of cleaning the tables. The restaurant had different types of noodles for different broth. I ordered the tsukemen and enjoyed it a lot. Please be reminded that it comes with one cha shu only. The broth is good when you eat it with the ramen. But its a bit salty if you drink it even after diluting it.

We had a lovely dinner there. Very quiet due to Covid, but I really hope that people will support this restaurant. Food was fresh, homemade, delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant has an “A” rating from the Health Dept. and was nice and clean. Our server Jason was a sweetheart. Service was thoughtful and attentive, and even the kitchen staff was friendly. Hope that people will dine in or order out for delivery or pick up, a great small business to support, straight-ahead Ramen house. We will be back!

Great find today! This ramen shop has great food! We had takoyaki, poke don, tonkotsu ramen, pork bun & the house salad. All the food came out piping hot & delicious. The staff was attentive & friendly! Were definitely going back again!!

Ive been to many ramen shops. This place is great! The large bowl very filling. Theyre not cheap with adding sides. The broth was amazing. Also, they played Shishido Brothers, Naruto, and a really nice list of songs to listen to while you eat. I recommend this place to anyone that wants some great ramen and a good experience.

I ordered the miso tsukamen and I couldn’t help but to compare it to the other ethnic soup, the Vietnamese Pho’ and Chinese Ramen. The above has its own peculiarity in style and taste. The broth is in the salty side and the ramen, on its own, is if good portion though the pairing is bland. Not to mention, it is pricy from its other ethnic equivalents.

-All the soup are extremely salty even with the added broth that they recommended, it didnt help much...-spicy tuna bowl was sweet and it came with sweet soy sauce(my first ever sweet spicytuna bowl).- 5 min into the meal the waiter ask if we need boxes.. instead of asking if everything was ok or if we need any water??

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately every ramen and tsukemen dish we ordered have been really, really salty :( This is located in the Vons plaza so parking is not an issue here. I went a few weeks after they opened so the service was still a bit lagged even though there werent that many patrons inside. Even though I placed the order online, they for some reason never received my order and so I had to end up waiting longer than I expected. Im sure things are a lot better now after reading the more recent reviews so perhaps Ill give them another chance sometime.
