2023-12-05 18:50:34Tucked away in Santa Anita Arcadia mall, Ramen Nagi isnt just a restaurant, its a whirlwind of energy and umami. A friendly waiter greeted us even before we stepped inside, offering a menu breakdown that made even ramen newbies feel like pros. The moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped by a lively atmosphere. Wed made our selections: the Black King, the Red King, and a side of crispy karaage and an extra helping of the springy thin noodles. Our ramen arrived promptly. The signature tonkotsu broth, simmer for 24 hours, was a revelation. Rich, creamy, and deeply savory. The karaage had a delightful crunch, while the extra noodles were thin and springy.Ramen Nagi isnt just about food but an experience. Its about the efficient service that makes you feel valued, and the lively atmosphere is contagious.

2023-11-22 21:44:07Finally got a chance to sit and eat here, line usually stretches around the corner, snaking towards Macy’s.Got the “chef recommendation” and glad I did. Broth was satisfying and rich. Noodles were okay, but atmosphere and service were top notch. Great price too!

2023-07-13 03:30:18I had heard really great things about Ramen Nagi and they did not disappoint! Unless you come right when they open, you will probably be waiting in line for a little bit to get a seat. No worries. Take that time to fill out your custom Ramen form. You can decide what kind of broth, how spicy, how much garlic, etc. Or you can let the chef decide. Also, make sure you get the Karaage fried chicken. There is enough to share for two! If you like Ramen, this place is a must visit! Highly recommended!

2023-09-14 00:09:26Fantastic ramen spot just outside Macys at the Arcadia mall! You fill out a small sheet to customize your bowl but can select Normal on down if you want the standard recipe. The Spicy Red Ramen packs some good heat with lots of flavor. The staff is super friendly but note they only take card payments. Free parking outside in mall lot.

2023-10-21 05:34:05One of the better ramens Ive had. Line can get very long, and the order slip was honestly a little confusing for me, but that isnt much of a problem once you understand what its asking of you. The self service at your table is neat with the little condiments and water. I would not recommend going heavy on garlic because it can be overpowering.

2023-07-14 06:08:26Ramen Nagi has officially become my favorite ramen spot in the states! Ive indulged in both the Original and Black King flavors, and if youre craving a ramen bursting with richness, I highly recommend the Original. As for the Black King, its a bit more subdued in my opinion, but still delicious in its own right.I havent had the chance to try the Red King yet, but once I do, Ill make sure to update my review. However, my friends rave about it, so Im already intrigued. When I visited on a weekday, the wait was non-existent, but be prepared for some craziness during the weekends. You get to customize your ramen with a little form once your at the front of the line. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere only added to the overall experience. This location is located inside the mall, right next to Wushiland.

2023-06-05 00:44:09Very tasty ramen. Great and FAST service. Only minor complaints were that we had strangers share a table with us because we had an odd party size (5) and the table uses tissues instead of napkins (I prefer using napkins).Soooo first time coming here. Our friend hyped this place up so the expectations were high. It delivered. The red king ramen was the right level of spice (2) and not overpowering. The extra noodles were plentiful and I tasted the friend chicken. The friend chicken was really good. Our whole party found the food and service to be great. Worth checking out if you’re in the area. Again only minor complaints were that we had a group of strangers share a table with us and that they use tissues instead of napkins at the table. I prefer the feel of napkins. Other than that amazing place and worth dropping by if you’re craving ramen or in the area!

2023-08-12 23:37:30In all honesty, I’d say this is my favorite ramen of all time! It was my first time visiting last week, and I still think about it to this day! I love the customization option. The service was amazing, and everything went by really quickly. The prices are also really great, especially for the taste!

2023-04-02 06:14:24Experience here is pretty authentic. I will definitely give it that! The line can be pretty long, but the staff make sure that it goes smoothly and that you have a menu before you enter, so you know what youre getting. I like when ramen shops have a limited menu and are good at making those specific items, I think this shop nails that. Ramens are pretty customizable via the order form. Broth was good but maybe slightly too oily for my taste, and the thin noodles werent my favorite. Will definitely try the regular yellow noodles next time. Karaage is AMAZING, highly recommend. The gyoza and its sauce I wasnt a huge fan of despite it looking pretty unique. Overall I can recommend coming here but it doesnt make the top of my list of ramen shops in SoCal.
