Ramen Q Hawaiian BBQ in Elk Grove

My SIL took me here! In a Strip Mall, Family owned restaurant, very clean and quickly served up delicious food! The Broth of the Ramen was rich a flavorful the toppings of the ramen Impressive to look at and just as tasty!! I am a Ramen Newbie, but this tasted like a warm hug! Their mixed BBQ plate reminded me of Hawaii! Mac salad on point, Grilled Meat perfection! Yes I got both, please don’t judge, I was worried the Ramen might disappoint, which it did not!!!Big portions !!!most of this was packed up and warmed up for breakfast the next day!! LolDefinitely a do over!!!

The service was not the best. The one guy who helped us did his best to help us. The water wasnt cold. But the good was excellent; and thats what matters. All my children found something they liked. That is rare with them. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and yes, we will be going back again.

Great food and service! I got the mix bbq plate. The beef and the ribs were the best! Wasn’t a huge fan of the chicken, it was a little hard to cut. The Gyoza was really good!

My son and I tried this place for the first time today it was really cute, clean and the food was good. My son gave his Ramen a 10/10. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Would recommend!

Love the flavors of the ramen, as well as their chicken katsu and their appetizers. Spicy is not spicy but thats ok, I do have a high tolerance. Love that theyre peanut-free! My son is allergic. Great prices and service too. Cant wait to try every single item on their menu. Thanks yall!

Ramen Q Hawaiian BBQ is a refreshing blend of Hawaiian BBQ and Ramen. This was my first opportunity to check them out and the restaurant was sleek and clean. Arrived when they opened for the day at 11 am and it was not long before there was a steady stream of customers. I overheard a table of 10 near me looking over the menu saying, Oh, they have Hawaiian BBQ. Well done Ramen Q Hawaiian BBQ! The service was great, the food hot and excellent! Right now during the Grand Opening for a limited time, they are offering 20% off. Medium sized clean facility. A bit too big though for this business. It was slow when I dined in which made it seem like it was extremely empty for the size of this establishment. Staff is very friendly. First time here. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen. At first glance it looked delicious. But to my disappointment, it was only OK. I didn’t really like the noodles. It was too much like instant ramen noodles. The egg halves were really good and cooked perfect. Bamboo shoots were tasty but a bit old because the fibers were hard. I found myself picking them out of my teeth quite a bit. The broth was light but a bit bland. The chashu was a bit tough as well. I would say the bowls are too big for the serving. I found myself really digging for the rest of the noodles. Perhaps there was not enough noodles to broth ratio. I don’t recommend the Shoyu Ramen but I would like give their other menu items a try.

So I wasnt sure about the place as its a little hard to find because its not right off the main road. The food looked delicious, but at first, the place seemed to give off a bit of fast food vibe when you first walk in. However, we were seated right away. We ordered the crab ragoons and gyoza (potstickers), and the ragoons were absolutely delicious!!! I dont know if they use real crab or imitation crab, but they were delicious. Potstickers were alright, but Ive had better. Chicken ramen was good, the chicken was very juicy, and the broth was good. It couldve used a bit more flavor, and you can add spiciness, but I didnt know how spicy it would be, so I stuck with no spice. GET THE FISH CAKE FOR DESSERT!!! it was the best part of the meal!!! I got strawberry, and at first, it looked ordinary, but when you bite into it, it is like heaven in your mouth. It was so good, I might just go there and buy a whole bunch of them at once to keep in my freezer.

We were looking for a good Ramen place and found this place through Google maps. The service was OK, It was a little slow. There was no one in the restaurant when we were there. The Ramen was not very good, the noodles were dry and there were only 2 shrimp in the bowl. We also ordered a rice and chicken tettiaki plate. It was a little better but not by much. I will not be going back and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
