2023-07-21 20:37:42Nice little hole-in-the-was place! The food was delicious and luckily there was little-to-no wait when I arrived!Customer service was impeccable! The lady that served us was very kind, attentive, and even offered us some extra curry when my brothers curry plate seemed to run a little low. After we were done we were surprised with a little scoop of ice cream, which was very delightful, the cherry-on-the-top to this already great experience. We ordered the bulgogi kimbap, curry ramen with chicken katsu, and tonkatsu ramen. The food looked amazing and the taste definitely matched! I would definitely come back to try out their other food options.

2023-08-16 19:05:46Its been a minute since I was last in. But Im glad I stopped in for dinner. The ramen was delicious. Broth was rich and deep in flavor. Chewy noodles with all the toppings included, chashu, bamboo, nori, egg, green onions. We had Tonkotsu Yamadaya ramen, tsukemen, Yamadaya bun and kaarage. So glad they are doing well. Will be back.

2023-05-16 05:07:55A very very very tiny spot. Just a handful of seats! Got a seat around midnight on a Friday night. Cheers to being open at this time lol. They forgot to bring us our water but that’s ok lol. I didn’t eat a full meal. I only got the spicy garlic edamame. It was so spicy. Like really really spicy 🌶️ I couldn’t eat the whole thing. Which made me sad. Lol. Because they did taste good. They also brought us a complementary sushi roll 🍣because it was a new flavor or something. That tasted amazing. They don’t serve alcohol here. The bathroom is around the back of the building lol. So be aware lol.

2023-12-08 05:20:35Hurts me to write this review because the food is fantastic and the servers have always been friendly. Tonight I went to the restaurant to get a bowl of their wonderful Tonkotsu ramen and I arrived at 9:05 PM. I walk in, there is another party that had ordered before me and were enjoying their food, and the server walks over and says that they are closed for dine-in, and do carry out only. I understand this but according to their website the restaurant is open until 10:00 PM, and I made sure not to be a last minute customer. I’ll need to think about if they’ve just lost a loyal customer.

2023-05-26 20:35:14HiThis place was one of my most favorite ramen place in Torrance been closed during Pandemic, they opened back Iberia came to try!!!First of all, the owner ship got changed...Different vibe, cuz awesome Korean took it over, then all of sudden skeptical about the taste... we will check. The first complimentary Cali roll got dropped... ok... and the ramen, presentation was perfect.. the broth... hmm its way better than before the Japanese works. And the noodle is super alive, tumbling in your mouth with super umamied taste... a lot of negies... and the chasu has no fat ... super savory and creamy broth... I might drink all.The salad dressing was super unique with tomato base with some sweet corn juice as long as sweet corns drizzled on top...Fried rice is quite savory and tasty not that greasy at all!!!Awesome job chef...One thing I didnt like was using all the plastic plates and bowl...Instead of that 100 out of 100

2022-08-05 22:55:02I usually go to Umenoya when I’m in Torrance, but I wanted to try something different. The location is right off the freeway & convenient. Staff was very nice & welcoming. We ordered Tonkotsu spicy & the Yamadaya tonkotsu. The Spicy had a better flavor profile & the Yamadaya was much more creamy. The bowls were of decent proportions but bang for buck it’s the Yamadaya tonkotsu, You just get so much more. I would definitely come back.

2023-05-09 12:46:14We love this place. The food is so good. When we come back to the area we always try and stop by. The place gets pack so we try and come when its less busy. The noodles are always fresh and chicken karaage is so tend and good. Even the California rolls were good.

2019-11-18 01:19:05Very small restaurant but the food tastes good! The 10 piece fried chicken was perfect! My sister said that’s the only fried chicken she’ll ever eat. I though the braised pork belly could have been a little softer. But that’s just me. Ramen was on point but I added some spicy oil and white pepper for an added kick. My sister had everything as is, not one complaint out of her. Service was very attentive and kind. Very few tables to sit because the restaurant is pretty small, so come early or be prepared to wait. I would eat here again.

2022-12-06 03:59:22The place is small but dont let it dissuade you from dining here because your to-go orders might not taste as good. 😬I love every single dishes I ordered from this restaurant!Food that we ordered:1. Tsukumen -> I have finally found an alternative to Tusjita LA. However, you dont get to have spicy flavored broth, so for spicy Tsukumen? This place gets my vote! The Tsukumen here is pretty savory. The spice in the broth was just right. The noodles are chewy enough, so cheers to that! You could tell that they were a little salty but after one bite, you just want more! ✅Tip: if you ordered Tsukumen, your broth will get cold pretty quickly, but you could always ask them to heat it up for you.2. Tonkotsu Spicy -> pretty delicious! Reminds me of Zabon ramen. They are pretty equal!3. Fried rice -> I am a fried rice lover and this one didnt let me down! Give this a try! I enjoyed every little spoon of the fried rice. The rice wasnt sticky or wet, and they were chewy! 😋Overall, I would recommend this place to ramen lovers and those who just finished watching your movies at AMC galleria 16 and want to dine out! 👍
