Food was excellent and lovely service. My only con observation is there was no atmosphere and quite bland decor. Otherwise food was good, fairly priced and nice presentation.

Ordered take out... The Nan Gyi Dok was awesome. Thick rice noodles, rich creamy curry, red onions and more. Id come back for that dish again.

Good, not great. I thought the food tasted pretty good - the coconut rice was good (3.5/5), the pad thai with chicken (spicy was not that spicy) was decent (3/5), the spicy chicken was better (4/5), and the lettuce wraps were probably the best (4/5).The wine is 2X retail price, which is reasonable. I thought that they overcharged for a lot of other items, so expect to dish out some money. What dinged them to 2 stars was the delay in food. For a party of 10, 8 people got their food rather quickly, but 2 people didnt. They stated that it would take another 5 minutes, which means that it was never placed. Also, the waiter was a bit new and young, but did a superb job with our massive party (he panicked quite a bit and forgot to do a few things).Overall, I dont think I would return here. I might grab some takeout from time to time, but the overall experience was poor.

Fabulous Burmese food. The tea leaf salad alone is worth coming to try. Everything was delicious. Other favorites were the Garlic Noodles and the eggplant. Great wine list. The dining room is elegant without being pretentious. Showed up on Sunday and had no issues seating a party of six. I wish parking was like that.

Great food, warm welcome. Last night was a nice surprise, the samosa was perfect, the tealeaf salad was a good size to share and very tasty, especially with the cabbage. Garlic noodles and fried banana with mango ice cream for dessert. And last but not least, the waitress was very attentive and pleasant. A great evening.

I love this restaurant in San Carlos. The food is consistently outstanding. The samosas have a delicate crust and the inner contents so smooth and savory. The tea leaf salad can’t be beat, and the garlic noodles...awesome! Can’t wait to return!

Lunch buffet vs sit down dinner is pretty different. I dont have issue with the food, but was sad to see the buffet quick pick was only for lunch. Waited longers than wanted for take out, had I realized the different set up and would have made more time for myself. BUT those samosas are DELICIOUS and I liked the food over all!

The mango chicken lacked mango flavor and cost $10 with rice. While I did not have the best first impression of this restaurant it is close to city hall and is an option for people who can afford it. I hope they have garlic & ginger chicken with garlic fried rice with egg. It was convenient however as there was no one in line to order. If a date wants to treat me to this place I would let them but wont order the mango chicken until it tastes like mango.

A hidden gem on Polk Street. There is never a wait because its significantly more upscale than its neighborhood. The rainbow salad and samosa soup are on par with the best of the city. Service is attentive, and we havent ordered a bad dish from the menu yet. Def recommend the coconut rice with whatever else you get.
