2023-05-30 04:35:44I was here to celebrate one of my friends birthdays. We had reserved earlier and everyone was seated. The door was kept open so it was feeling very cold as our table was close to it. Our server was good and took good care of us based on our orders and also we brought our own cake. All we asked is to bring it after our dining is over. I feel every restaurant should say that they charge just to bring the cake ( which is brought by the customer), outside. Anyhow, after finishing the dinner and cake cutting by ourselves, and we dont know when the bill came it had all kinds of taxes besides the ones we usually see. It disappointed us and we checked on it. Our server disappeared but another person from the staff spoke to their manager and sorted it out for us. Anyhow the food was okay, service was okay but not sure if I am a fan of that restaurant.

2023-11-27 03:01:00What a fantastic find! This Filipino restaurant is a true gem. The service was exceptional; the staff made us feel like part of their family. The food was a revelation - each dish was a masterpiece of Filipino culinary artistry, bursting with bold and delicious flavors. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing dinner with loved ones. I cant recommend this place enough for a genuine Filipino dining experience that will leave you craving more.

2023-06-24 20:38:57Recently dined here and, regrettably, my experience left me utterly disappointed. Our server forgot to bring requested items and displayed a general lack of knowledge about the menu. The tea leaf salad, lotus chips, and roti palata were decent. The main courses were below par comapred to many of the Burmese Ive had in the Bay area.Coming to the biling part, while I understand and appreciate the concept of gratuity, the manner in which it was handled at this place was unethical. Upon receiving the bill, I was taken aback to discover that a 20% gratuity had been automatically added to the total for serving a party of 5, strange, very uncommon. Nobody cared to explain, and unfortunately, since it was the closing time we left without contesting. Overall, I would think twice to dine in this restaurant if I am looking for a nice dining experience. There are plenty of other places in the area that value their patrons and offer an authentic dining experience. Save yourself the disappointment.

2023-02-14 17:53:10Great spot in downtown Palo Alto. It was fairly empty when we got there for lunch on Monday afternoon. The place may seem small but has quite a large seating area available inside. Small outdoor seating is also available. The food was spectacular - as vegetarians we thoroughly enjoyed the variety. The salad was a bit of a miss but lettuce wraps, Burmese pad Thai, and tofu beans were quite sublime.

2023-04-25 03:58:24Fantastic staff and the food was wonderful. Highly recommended. I sat outside and they had heaters so I didn’t feel cold at all.You scan the QR code and the menu interface was really easy to use too.

2023-05-16 13:22:40Loved the ambiance at this restaurant! Very welcoming with good service. This was my first time trying Burmese food and it was absolutely amazing. The flavors and how they interacted with each other made for the most delicious dinner. We had the Tea Leaf salad and Nan Gyi Dok…both were incredible and so was my Rangoon hibiscus mojito. They do charge $2 for hot sauce so beware when the waitress says “this dish would be so much better with hot sauce” ;))

2023-04-14 21:28:28We were just in time before the kitchen closes at 2.30pm. Got the table by the sidewalk. Loved their screens that block sunlight but doesn’t block fully. We thoroughly enjoyed the pleasant ambience.Coming to what we ordered:Tea Leaf Salad - 👌🏼👌🏼 - It hit the right flavors. Mandatory dish.Samosa Soup - 👌🏼👌🏼- Again something we order in all Burmese restaurants, didn’t disappoint. Go for it.Chicken Noodle Soup - 👌🏼👌🏼Veggie Kebat - 👍🏼 - First time ordering Kebat, it was okay, may be need to try the meat option, it has to be eaten with rice.Lotus Chips - 👍🏼👍🏼 - They have little to fail. Tasty!Burmese Python - 👌🏼 - Liked this compared to the fresh coconut cocktail.Crazy Coconut - 👍🏼 - It was okay. May be ruined the fresh coconut a little. Also, coconut should be a lot tender to get the best out of it. Ours was super ripe.Service was good too. Waiters were respectful and brought everything on time. Overall great lunch on a Sunday. We will definitely come back any day.
