Waitress got everything wrong except my sushi role. Had to send back the wine twice. Asked for red and twice was brought white. Asked for Remy x.o. and was brought v.s.o.p. Asked for the tuna salad and got the seared tuna appetizer. Used to love this place but.... everything was warm. Maybe try sitting at the sushi bar for direct ordering with the sushi chefs. And maybe it wont sit there so long?

I order Philadelphia roll, told them, need cooked salmaon on it, at first they gave raw called them and went back with cooked and this wot I get, salmon was so try Thea was no taste too it, Thea was literally no cream cheese in it, I wish I could have them zero star, this place is scam . This is the BEST place to get sushi in Stockton. Everything is so fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and we love the atmosphere. I am in a wheelchair which makes going to some places hard, but when I come here I feel like family.

Make sure you check your receipt. My credit card was given to another patron and his meal was charged to my card. It took 3 times before the server could give me my own credit card back and correct receipt. Will not eat there again.

Good food, good service, kinda pricey but Ill definitely be back. They have a good selection of Sushi, they also have good non-sushi. My wife who doesnt care for Sushi had no problems finding a teriyaki rice bowl that she enjoyed. My vegetarian daughter also liked her vegetarian roll (single in picture) while my other daughter and I really liked our Rainbow roll (closest to camera) and Tiger roll (far from camera).

Amazing little spot where the service and the food is awesome. I definitely recommend and so will be back for more! Everyone was friendly and courteous, not just our server. Also, our food came pretty quickly and freshly made. Love the experience here.

My group all loved there food we tried many of there sushi options from the rainbow crunch roll to the dragon roll and salmon. It all had delicious sauce and was worth the wait. They arent the best Ive had in Stockton and they need to pay more attention to there guest drinks but well worth trying out for yourself.

The food was great, however the service was slow. There was only 2 of us in the whole restaurant and our food took atleast 30 mins. We each ordered one roll. There were 6 employees, 4 of them making the food and 2 servers. When we asked for a cocktail, it took another 30 mins. We watched our server make them, and then left them on the bar while she took a phone call. The other server looked like he was going to bring us our drinks, but he also got on the phone. It was not until I asked can we get our drinks? When she finally went back to the bar to get them. This was my first time here, I might give them another chance. This was Friday Feb. 4th around 2:30 p.m.

The food was excellent and the one gentleman who served me was great but I felt like I was left alone for too long and had to walk up to pay. The girl that took my order didnt even engage in conversation she just made eye contact with me. There was no verbal are you ready to order. Crazy amount of people here last time i went. But food was good. though music was super loud and I couldnt even talk to my family. This was on a normal weekday, Would recommend for you to either come earlier then the dinner rush at 6 or after it. Line shot out the door, but in the end the food was good. But for the wait for food and the line, it makes me hesitate a little in deciding about this place.

The ambiance of the place was cozy and they had a full bar + wine 4 sale. My issue is it took a long time to get my food. I dont have a problem with waiting on a good meal. I ordered Tempura n couldnt eat it my tempura shrimp was mushy n it tasted oily. I liked my Volcano it was mouth size bites, just it took extremely long 2 get my food. I rate this restaurant a 5 star in terms of customer service, sanitation, food presentation and cost. I received great service from my waiter and the owner is very friendly and makes sure to make his presence known to improve your dining experience overall. I visit this place about twice every 6 months and I have never received a negative experience.

Very Clean, they have good air flow in the restaurant. They separate seating and tables so you have safe distance. The food OMFG the phili cheese sashimi roll and dragon rolls with fried goyza tastes unbelievably delicious. Yum yum you have to try it.

Not crazy about the food. Not authentic Japanese cuisine. More trendy than anything else. Portions are small and the food is a bit pricey. They do have a nice soft shell crab salad and sushi which is not easily available in this town. It has a full bar which is probably one of its draws. Restaurant is small and can be a little tight. Located in a nice area of town.

Raw has a very nice setting and the food is usually very good. They suffer from severe doses of attitude and do not train their staff well enough to provide the service to match their price point. Many restaurants close between lunch and dinner as does Raw, however many restaurants have an answering machine or have the kitchen or manager answer the phone during those hours.I called to make a reservation for a party of eight and I was met with a snappy scripted response of We dont take reservations, only accommodations. I decided not to accommodate Raw and not bother them with my business as it sounded like it would be too much of an inconvenience to give my party any personal attention.

Incredible food and fun atmosphere! Definitely not the quiet spot for romance, and it often gets packed leading to long waits and slower service, but the food is worth the wait! NEVER had a bad meal here, but the service is hit and miss. Some servers are incredible even during busy times, but others dont quite cut the mustard...or maybe Wasabi would be a better word here! Try the Dantes Inferno...either the appetizer or the main sushi roll if you like spicy. Better yet, do like me and get both! Overall, the food has some of.the best flavor anywhere!

One of my top favorite places for sushi in Stockton. The tempura appetizer was obviously just made which is expected and appreciated as nothing is worse than soggy tempura. My Ahi was fresh and perfectly cut. I ways enjoy my service and meal when I come here. One thing....if you want a quiet meal, this building doesnt afford that. No fault on Raw!!! It can get quiet loud on a packed night.

Arrived at 7pm and there was a wait. They took my name and number down and said theyd call me when our table was ready. Quoted 35-40 mins. Checked back in at 7:45pm and roughly seven other names beneath mine had already been scratched off. Never received a phone call, but somehow skipped over by seven other people. Waited outside for a total of 50 mins to be told it would probably be another 20 mins. Walked out and will not be back.

Usually this place is one of our go to spots, until recently One Monday night our food was NOT up to par, undercooked chicken, overcooked Beef. We found out that they use FARMED Salmon, not Wild caught. For the high prices that we paid, Id hope for quality and consistency in the food. Seems like if you disclose that imitation crab comes on the California roll, FARMED SALMON should be disclosed to the public. We will be searching elsewhere for Sushi in Stockton. Disappointed for sure.

I decided to take my daughters out for dinner since recently moving into town and new to the area. We decided to check this place out. ..well needless to say we werent able to, due to the horrible no service. No one greeted us or offered a wait time when we walked in. We sat in the little waiting area for about 30min and still no one came to greet us even when the staff had made eye contact. The only time someone came to the front was to greet their friends with hugs but we were totally ignored. The owners obviously dont care how their business is ran if a simple customer greeting to each client that walks through the door is ignored and made to feel insignificant. In a word: YUM!Talented Sushi chefs here for sure! Im very picky about my sushi, so I took the recommendation of the Mercedes Benz dealer across the street with a bit of suspicion....great sushi huh? Maybe for the central valley...nope! Great by ANY standard! My favorite was Hamachi Carpachio (not on menu) & it was fantastic!Very accommodating & willing to substitute cucumber or soy wrap vs. traditional seaweed. 3.5 stars.Arrived 40 minutes early before our reserved time. Restaurant was quite busy. Drinking bar side was full. Sushi bar side was full too. All tables were occupied. It stayed busy through our meal. Our waiter was pretty good with checking in on the group and answering questions. Foods were the typical dishes: appetizer, bento, ramen, salad, sushi, alcohol. I ordered a Tako Kimchi salad. I may have misread the description since there were no kimchi, only tako, cucumber, and shredded daikon topped with gochujang paste. Rolled sushi were good, like any others. Nothing really stood out or WOWED. Paid full price, $14, for one roll.
