Rays Duck House in Chino Hills

Our first time here. Spacious surrounding. Ideal for huge family gathering, there were 12 of us that went there and they put us in a long table. Service is fast considering it was during the weekend Brunch and the food will be serve within less than 15 mins. The food is magnificently deliciously! The manager was welcoming and tend to cather our needs. Overall, we like the place. 😊

Authentic Chinese food was delicious and tasty. Peking duck was ordered 2 hours in advance. At the beginning, the service was good but was non-existent after we got all of our food on the table . We asked to refill tea pot but the server never came back.

My wife and I were craving some dim sum so we decided to give this a try. Not a big selection, but it definitely satisfied our craving. Nice servers and good service.

Took my family to Rays for dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year. Ordered 2 Peking ducks, Sweet & Sour Fish, Taiwanese Style BBQ Eel on Sticky rice, Spicy Pot, Diced Beef w/ Black Pepper Sauce, and Worried String Beans.All my family were amazed by the savory dishes and we finished all dishes! Compliment to the chefs. The service was impeccable, courteous, fast and professional.We definitely will visit Rays again and would recommend it to all our friends.

Just went to this restaurant and got: Diced beef with black pepper sauce, mushrooms, plum juice, Beijing Yogurt, and of course Peking Duck. Diced beef pretty good, mushrooms too, it didn’t wow me but I liked it. The Beijing yogurt, tasted good too, because it tastes like yogurt, and the plum juice was nice as well. NOW THE DUCK, it was pretty good, the flavor wasn’t very overpowered. Honestly the place is very fancy and definitely a treat if you’re planning on going. The staff were also very nice making sure we’re having a good time. ALSO you could see the crabs and fish swimming in their tank which was cool. I don’t want to overhype because that’s never good but it’s a good place overall with good food. THE CAT WAVING THING IS CUTE ALSO, just had to snap a photo for ya’ll.

Super excited to try this new restaurant. The dishes were delicious and authentic. They even got dim sum and Peking duck (pre-order required). A great variety of Chinese dishes, so I’m sure you will find the ones you like. Definitely worth a try and will come to try more dishes in the future!

This place was decent. Liked the large round tables for big groups. Ordering was OK. The waiter was a little rude. Once we ordered, the food came out quickly. We had a dozen different options. Most were good/decent and a couple not so good. The location could use some updating and the live seafood tanks could use updates as well. Dim sum dishes were better tasting than most of the others. Would go back again if with a large group, but not just my wife and I or small group.

We had to wait for someone to greet and have us sitted for lunch. When the hostess finally went to us, she didnt even say hello. Worst she did was to entertain another customer who just walked for a to go order. So they were discussing what this customer wanted to order while we kept on waiting and waiting. Finally, a server in black uniform showed us in. This server turned out to be rude while taking our order as if insinuating we had to be fast because shes busy! This place doesnt know customer courtesy. The foods are not great ( our first time here). I would stick to our usual Chinese eatery in Diamond Bar. Not ideal to eat here in the future.

The service was great here after we finally sat down and enjoyed our lunch. I was told I didnt need to make reservation when I called; however, when our group arrived, the staff asked if we had a reservation. We did not. You might have to review your SOP to maintain the level of this nice place.

Dim sum was not bad. Better than many other places. I would probably come back next time for dinner. There was a bit of waiting in the weekend
