In search of Dumplings on a Friday night and I found Red Circle. So glad I did too. Greeted by a friendly waitress that catered to our every need throughout dinner. Never had to ask for a refill of water or dipping sauces. She was always checking on us with a warm smile and humble professionalism.The Braised Beef Noodle Soup was just right. Not too salty with an adequate amount of beef to noodle ratio.The Shrimp Siomai were tasty and perfectly steamed. The Chicken and Bok Choy Dumplings were a perfect combination of flavors and texture as well as nicely presented. $25 out the door. Will definitely return.
As a restaurant that claims to have coconut chicken hot pot, this one is by far the most sacrilegious I’ve tried. They don’t have the correct sauce which is the soul: no galanga, no lime. The sauce is just.. soy sauce. The soup was not fresh. Oh and also the “dessert” in their coconut chicken combo, it’s a scoop of vanilla ice cream. And the worse of it all, both of us got diarrhea after this meal.

My new Favorite Chinese restaurant.It’s Chinese New (year of the lunar Rat 🐀). Dressed up & trying to figure out where to go. Thinking that Asian restaurants are closed due to the holidays, but I found one open.Red Circle Dumplings 🥟 has the best tasting food that I’ve tasted. I’m Asian and very picky when it comes to Chinese food.My moto is that you got to try it to deny it. I’m not denying Red Circle 🔴, cuz the favor is bursting of yummy goodness in my mouth 👄.This restaurant has made it in my top 10 pics. I place them at #3.

So, the Xiao long bao were hot and very good. The tea was warm and not hot, hargao shrimp dumplings were heated up from frozen and were a little crunchy, and the siu mai were good but a little chewy. They did then give me hot tea and comped an additional hargao, thanks.
Great food! Fresh chicken and coconut is the best way to end the day.The wait at this restaurant is excruciatingly long, and I think the owner could coordinate the waiting line a lot better — there are many families skipped the line ahead of us.
We had the coconut 🥥 chicken 🐔 hot pot on a very cold day and it warmed us up.Im not a lover of the chicken that this establishment uses but the coconut chicken broth after the chicken simmered in the hot pot was beyond my expectations.I had it with the chicken rice and it was delicious.Ive got my eyes on the lamb 🐑 and bean curd hot pot and Im determined to try it soon.The owner who was also the server did and excellent job.

A rollercoaster of a Resturaunt.When I first walked in and saw everyone’s tables I was likeWhy are the portions so small.Every single plate has maybe 1-4 items. The fried shrimp Had 4 pieces each plate for like $5. You wanna be full you gotta order maybe 3x of each. Then the sticky rice came in those bamboo containers and I’m like this gotta be good.Open it up, yea there’s this Big piece of sticky rice. But guess what? Maybe 3/4 of that was just thick layers of paper wrapped around a piece of rice smaller than my palm.And then when the dum sum came THERE WERE FRIED COCKROACHES INSIDE.AND THATS NOT EVEN ALL THE POTSTICKERS WERE RAW. AND THE FRIED SHRIMPS WERE OBVIOUSLY FROZEN I CAN FEEL THE MOISTURE UNDER THE WRAPPING. So yea one crazy restaurant. The only reason it isn’t a 0 is because I feel bad since they’re a small restaurant and They were so Apologetic towards us. They gave us 15% off which isn’t a lot but I appreciate it for a Small resturaunt.
Walked in and realized they have hot pot and dim sum. Genius for those of us with young ones who dont make hot pot worth it.Their coconut broth aroma fills the air and makes you want it.We just had dim sum this time, but we will be back.
So apparently Red Circle Hot Pan has changed concepts and became Red Circle Dumplings. The servers seemed the same so they probably didnt have enough business and changed to the new rage in town, which is dumplings.First, before I forget, if you like hot as in spicy, ask for the chinese hot sauce/hot oil. It is very tasty and spicy. Dont forget, ok?The braised noodle soup was good. The beef was tender, the noodles, a broad variety, had a good bite, and soup was delicious. Maybe slightly salty, but still good.The snow cabbage and pork noodle was also good. Just the right amount of cabbage and pork to give it a good taste. The noodles are thinner style.The piggy custard buns were a hit. Hot and steamy, with just enough custard. And so darn cute.The sui mai was awesome. Served steaming hot, filled with juicy pork and shrimp on top. I could eat several orders of this. I couldnt even get seconds; my son grabbed the last piece..lol..The steamed dumplings were very average. Maybe should have tried the xlb. The steamed dumpling had the wrapper/skin that was just too chewy. Very similar to store bought dumplings.Please note, the dumplings here are all steamed or pan fried. Normally, most places also have boiled dumplings, which stay more moist. They dont have them here.For what I ordered, price was around $40. Pretty standard.Back again next time to try some more.
Great coconut chicken soup but the server is condescending.
Server was helpful, but only put in two measly pieces of back meat in the soup before walking away with the drumsticks, and then charged us full price. Sorry, but we wont be coming back for this reason.
They are very nice and professional there peanut dessert that they have is awesome and amazing and today I just tried their new pumpkin ones with a black bean Oso delicious there a little pricey but I will pay the price for that quality and they are very clean inside
We stayed in the hotel right across the street to wait for our flight so we came here. Fascinated by the menu and coconut chicken hot pot, we ordered that. I grew up with coconuts as a constant in food and have never had — or heard of — coconut hot pot.The coconut hot pot was interesting. Broth was a little too sweet in the end but fascinating taste. We weren’t repulsed by it but didn’t come out yearning for more. Chicken was alright, the hainanese rice was a lil dry compared to what you’d get in a Singaporean chicken rice dish.The server encouraged us to scrape the flesh of the coconut and cook it, which I did. Those pieces of coconut ended up texturally like fish in the hot pot — white and fleshy. What didn’t work for me was cooked coconut flesh is a little slimy, and if you’ve ever had bad, old fish that’s what it feels like texturally.. so the association wasn’t good.Overall, I think if you’re curious about food and want to try something new this is worth a try. My only worry was another review I read that showed baby roaches in the food.. the restaurant seemed to be run in a relaxed way, so I believe it. Hope my wife never reads about the roaches as she’ll be mad I took her here..

Havent been here in a while and it seems like theyve changed their concept again. Ordered a Braised Beef Noodle which tasted fine, but came with a hair. Had to send it back and hope they made a fresh order. Floors were sticky, service was as expected.
Went there for lunch today. Braised beef is definitely different from what I remember 6 months ago. Sui mai tasted very fishy. Shrimp was no good. Gave me a stomach ache.

The waitress is very rude and forced us to tip 18% before we can leave the restaurant, even if we are only group of two and haven’t get any real service during the dinning. Go if you want to be told “Do not din out of you can’t afford the tip”
I ate here tonight. The food for half a pound of noodles and 5 tiny pieces of chicken with lots of bones in it was 15.00$ ok … now getting chased down by my server outside their premises because I didn’t leave a tip it’s outrageous! She chase me down to my car demanding a tip. I asked her, what makes you think I should leave a tip? I’ve brought you tea she replied. Ok! I didn’t ask for it you just toss it on my table but thank you. If you believe I should be paying for the tea then you should have added it to my bill. I thought it was nice and courtesy of the house for a small cup of tea. Besides, I told her I was a party of 1 and it was just me sitting down and having food. The place was almost empty. Yea, well she still demanded her tip. It is restaurant liability now that an employee leaves premises and her job to go chase down a customer that mostlikely will never return because an employee decided to chase him almost getting to his car demanding a tip. I would have left it but I didn’t feel it was necessary since I don’t see the point of it for just bringing me a cup of tea. She didn’t even bring me my plate of food. It was someone else. I would suggest the owner to not let employees chase down customers outside their restaurant and specially think they are to demand tips. For what you already charged me for half pound of wet noodles 15$! You should already be happy.

Decent amount of parking. Good amount of seating during lunch, unlike Hing Lung nearby.Service is efficient, nothing to complain about. Dishes came out in quick successions.All dishes were pretty good. The XLB were quite juicy and flavorful, the skin wasnt too thick. The spring rolls were a good ratio of crispy outside and shrimpy inside. The pig egg custard bun were cute but tastewise didnt stand out too much. The sesame lava bun were a bit too sweet.Even if the menu isnt extensively it is quite worth it.

Holy moly, Im pretty sure this place has bought a ton of fake reviews... Heres why not to eat here.1) It smells bad in there for some reason. Horribly bad. A stench seems to emanate from the kitchen.2) The Korean BBQ sauce is literally just soy sauce, sugar, and corn starch. The creamy white sauce is salty for some reason. The spicy sauce tastes like something you get from a supermarket. Theyre all pretty gross.3) The meat is sliced slightly too thick. Nit picky, but it hurts the experience.4) The metal pan isnt hot enough to sear the rice or meat, making the lack of flavor even more pronounced. I think they heat it in the oven!?!?!?5) The ice cream is store bought (tastes like Dreyers).6) The free drink is literally just a soda. Please offer more drinks, even if they arent free.7) The menu is tiny. There are 15 things, and half of them are derivatives of each other. We had the fish fillet, the sliced beef, and the sliced salmon. They were all very underwhelming.
This is now a dumpling restaurant. We stopped by for a light lunch. We were sat quickly and tea was brought out shortly afterward. We decided on ordered the tom yum soup dumplings, one bite pork bun, and pork and cabbage potstickers, and finally pork with shrimp sumi. They didnt have chili sauce at the table, but we asked for it and they brought some out. The soup dumplings came out first, I think the skin was a little to thin or maybe we had to wait till it cooked a little as we popped the skin on the first few and we were trying to be careful as they stuck on the bottom. We finally figured out to use the spoon and lift the paper to slide the dumpling in the spoon without breaking it. They were really good and unique with the tom yum soup. The sumi was so so. The potstickers were pretty good. One bite pork buns were also pretty good. We also had our tea filled throughout the meal without asking. Overall we liked the food.
The Tom yum soup dumplings is interest worth a trying atleast once. Food here is cheap and tasty. The cost adds up fast if you order a lot but its quite filling.
Only giving one star because we didnt like the taste of the food, not that it was bad per-se.This is not your stereotypical Chinese restaurant or food that westerners are accustomed to. Basically you keep a pot of broth boiling on a hot-plate that is embedded in the table, in which you cook meat that you take from a cute little moving conveyor belt that runs by all the tables (a-la-fondue style).Trouble is, none of the mystery meat is labeled and we thought it all tasted odd to our non-aisian palate. Probably great if you are used to food from China and that particular style of cooking, just not for us.
Red Circle is a small dumplings+other snacks restaurant tucked away in a Marshalls/Best Buy strip mall. But its popular (super packed with a line), and for good reason.I came here after a couple of hours of intense badminton, so we ordered like a pack of hungry she-wolves.The food came pretty quickly and we inhaled everything.Appetizers: the black vinegar wood ear mushrooms and the cucumber are really good. Very refreshing, and holds you over until the hot food comes.The noodles with beef was really great. Hand pulled noodles in a light broth. Not heavy at all.Of dumplings, we had wontons in chili oil, XLB, shumai, SJB. All really great.And to close the deal - piggie lava buns. YUM YUM YUM.

Excellent food quality. The place was busy on a week night. We went there for lunch & also dinner to try a variety of menu items. Price is reasonable and the place is clean.
They chase customer for tips. We did not ask for much and they chase us for 10% tip of our meal. We already left 2 bucks for a 20+ buck meal. Service was not great.

Yes, it is a Shanghai style food therapy. The menu is very affordable. The taste is top notch. There are many options for Shanghai special dumplings. Especially the Shanghai Braised Beef Noodles are delicious. The working attitude of the service staff is very good. Awesome 👍
The Chinese store name is now changed to [Aye Kitchen]. The original chicken pot uses fresh coconut juice as the soup base, and you can taste a strong coconut flavor; the spicy chicken pot is suitable for those who love spicy flavors. Its just that the environment is a bit crowded, so be careful with the hot casserole.

The service is great, as the staff will teach you how to cook, eat, and in what order of sequence, to get the most variety of taste. The beef was, however, not really up to the wagyu level. But overall it is very decently priced, and a really fun and unique dining experience.

Two fresh coconuts adding a very subtle sweetness in the clear soup base, delivers an amazing mix of aromatic flavor. The side dish rice is a little bit dry and the plaza itself is not fancy, but the soup itself is definitely worth a 30 miles’ drive for someone enjoying light and healthy dietary.

The only down side is that I found a little piece of plastic string in the food (maybe the coconuts package?).Servicers are nice but not very focused on their job. I had to ask three times for a straw.Would recommend if you dont mind finding foreign objects in your food.

2023-11-15 02:09:43I was going to The Red Lobster and decided to check the Chinese Restaurant across the parking lot instead. I was greeted by the server, I was given a hot tea and the menu to start, I decided to go for a half Pecking Duck and an order of steamed rice. The Duck was cut up into several pieces along tiny guao bao (boiled water pancakes), thinly sliced scallions and a sweet hoisin sauce, the skin was crispy and you can taste the mild five spice, I don’t know why I ordered steamed rice; there was no need for it. The store has a side door that serves to go orders and stays busy all day. Great place if you are craving home made dumplings.

2023-04-30 04:10:14If there is a no-star then this place is definitely git for it. This is my day 1 since I leave this city for 3 years. I was threatened by one of the male staffs: “You are banned for this place. We will refuse to serve you. You rubbish!” The sole reason is that I only give 10% tip which they may “question” their quality of service and ask for more when I just walk out of the door. The food quality doesn’t matter now. The only thing they have is a very rude manner and greedy tip wanter. That’s it.

I was not happy with the service and only paid 10% tip, but the waiter came out to the parking lot to asked more tips and demanded us for explanations of why we’re being cheap. At the end, he call us names and warned us Not to ever comes back again!
