Wonderful pizza place right by Hermosa Pier. The garden salad was amazing and the thin crust pizza was so good too! They had fun card games to play which was fun too! Hunter was such a good server, he went over the top to take care of us! We will be back, such a great place!

This place had great reviews, but when we walked in, the place was empty with no customers in the restaurant. The service was okay, but the server could have been friendlier. The pizza was pretty good, although both pizzas were left in a little too long and they were burned on the bottom. The deep dish pizza was a lot better and was hot and cheesy! Overall this place is ok, but wasnt the amazing pizza experience we expected. On the positive side, the have a tabletop Ms Pac-Man and Galaga video game you can play for free. The owner was very nice pointing that out to us. They also have some pretty good craft beers. #pizza

Red & Louies is amazing, love the ambiance of this restaurant, the customer service was incredible Hunter gave us A tour! The spectacular brick oven pizza fueled by Beachwood ! Pizza was delicious the best pizza & crust I ever had ! This is restaurant you definitely have to go to !!

Wow this lived up to the reviews! This spot is an absolute must. First of all the staff was extremely helpful in guiding our choices and making recommendations. I was so hangry from a beach day that I couldn’t even make coherent choices. The owner (I think) was super friendly, introduced himself, and offered us a round on the house. We took our food to go back to the hotel and IT BLEW MY MIND. Italian salad is stellar with ranch for the dressing. Homemade meatball sandwich was absolutely outstanding. And best of all…the PIZZA. Flavor is out of this world with crust so thin and crispy! I did a half and half and was able to try the deluxe (sausage omg) and the Margherita Blanca. Trust me when I say we will be back when we are in town next time. My only regret is I didn’t order a dessert!

Friendly staff. Our waitress was super polite and friendly. She suggested favorites from the menu and introduced my wife to a new beer, Pinkus. I suggest getting the cheesy garlic bread. Its sooo good. My wife would suggest the Pinkus beer. They also have a Ms. Pac Man / Galaga table game that you can play for free. We went on a Thursday night, spontaneously, and it wasnt crowded at all.

The fried ravioli, caesar salad, and french dip was good. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was excellent. The restaurant patreon were interesting and entertaining. Parking is so-so considering its Hermosa Beach.

Had the hawaiin pizza...tasted like tomatoe soup on burnt crust. The crust did not appear burnt at all but had a burned flavor to it. Ive had lots of pizza in my day and this is one of the worst Ive ever had.

We ordered a regular cheese, regular pepperoni, and a Margarita Bianca!!!! Super delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh and top quality! We enjoyed our dinner so much!! Best pizza place!Would love to see a restaurant like this in Vegas!Thank you so much for such a delicious experience!

Went in for the first time to meet some buddies and oh my.. what a delicious and fresh tasting pizza. Cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Prices were very agreeable and was super easy to share a bunch of things with a group at the bar. Keep it up Red & Louies!! Youve got something special here.

Pizza is amazing!The owner is from Chicago suburbs and his pizza is so good. The owner is often at the store with the workers and also super friendly with the customers.All the staff here are super lovely and nice people and I love going here.We get the jalapeño and pineapple custom pizza. Weve also tried their deep dish and its also amazing.The beer and wine selection is pretty solid too!This is my favorite pizza place of all time :)

They made me a French dip at 11:30pm even when they closed at midnight. Not only do they serve the best French dip, but their hospitality is the definition of a neighborhood joint! Great beer and pizza too!

We just had carry out here and the pizza was awesome. Crispy crust and really fresh tasting sauce. Perfect! And the wings are the best I have had in Southbay. Super crispy and juicy meat. Can’t wait to go back and eat there.

This is hands down the best pizza Ive had in a while. The owner even gave us a peek of the unique pizza oven. We had the Classic Margarita and the Blanco Margarita and they were outstanding. The owner gets the crust perfectly thin and crispy. This is not drunk pizza, its a masterpiece.

Best Chicago pizza and Italian beef place in the South Bay! Originally from Chicago but have been in LA area now since 1998. Since that time, it’s been impossible to find anything similar to Giordanos, Beggars, Rosatis or Lou Malnatis. I even visited Joe Mategna’s Taste of Chicago up in Burbank awhile back which didn’t quite cut it.My go to has been Fresh Brothers but they changed their recipe a few years ago and it’s not that good anymore. Union Pizza was another that had a decent deep dish. But I finally got around to trying Red & Louie’s last week and can definitively say it’s the best Chicago experience you’ll find out here.I’ve tried the following so will try to comment on each: sausage thin crust, pepperoni thin crust, cheese garlic bread and Italian beef.- The sausage and pepperoni thin crust tastes almost exactly like Giordanos. Red & Louie’s has a stone fire over so you know how important that is to a crispy crust like most Chicago pizza. Thin crust pizza is excellent.- The cheese garlic bread tastes a bit like Lou Malnati’s cheese bread but better. Marinara sauce is great and a perfect blend.- The Italian Beef was also excellent and comparable to Portillo’s. While there is a Portillo’s in Anaheim, that’s not somewhere you’re going to drive to unless you’re already in the area. Red & Louie’s also offers marinara on the side for the beef like Pop’s and like some Portillo’s still do.I haven’t tried the deep dish yet but can already say this is one of the best restaurants and pizzas in the South Bay. It’s also a good, chill place to watch some sports on the multiple flat screens inside. Highly recommended from a Chicago ex-pat!!

Pizza should get 1 star at best. The sauce felt like ketchup or some cheap option. I have ordered a number of toppings, perhaps as the sign of the times, they put few pieces to be able to get away with it.Reading some reviewers here, Im wondering if they are friends of the owners or just never eaten good pizzas...mmmThis is no repeat establishment.

First time trying this pizzeria. One price was listed for the specialty pizzas, I asked our waitress if it was the same price for thin crust or deep-dish. She said yes, theyre the same price. We then had another waitress come to our table 30 minutes into our meal and start arguing in front of us over whose table it was. Deep dish pizza was very watery and was impossible to eat without a fork. When we got our bill, it had a $5 up charge for a deep dish pizza. When we asked our waitress about this, she just said, oh I was wrong. We dont plan on returning.

I grew up in Chicago and highly recommend Red & Louies thin crust pizza, Italian salad and Italian beef and I’ve ordered those three items a few times! I keep thinking i will try the meatball or a different sandwich but I can’t turn down their beef! It’s also a great place to sit and eat inside or on their patio. They’ve been having live music on the weekends and it’s been a great place to hook up with friends for dinner or bring the kids. Also Ms Pacman table game is free !!

Only gets 2 stars because owner was willing to make us another pizza. We said no thank you. Chewy, and the large is the size of most places medium, they have only one size but didnt mention it when ordering. We wouldnt have paid $24 for a medium pizza. But if it was good wouldnt complain. Sorry here is not the place for pizza. Try the subs maybe.

I dont know if its the owner or the staff here, but they were very kind. I baked pizza in the oven. I couldnt eat more than two slices of pizza, but I reheated it the next day and ate it all. Thats how good it is to eat.
