Its always amazing, the food is delicious and you couldnt ask for better service!
Been here so many time and always just get sushi. There sushi is all i would ever order so i decided to try somthing new . Got the chicken Teriyaki combo lunch and the teriyaki sauce wasnt teriyaki. wonton and egg roll was cold Salad came with no Dressing and thereFry rice is not fully cooked. I rather just order there sushi.
Went to have rolls. The place was so packed the poor girl was running around with her head cut off. We never got our rolls and my family ate and I didn’t. That’s all I wanted. Pretty mad over it. I love this place and I’m really disappointed. She said the guy making the rolls forgot. I also asked her 3 times and she forgot to ask him? Need to have more staff! The guy behind the counter couldn’t even help me pay. And the phones were ringing off the hook. and the meal for 3 was more like a meal for 1. Super tiny portions for what we paid.

I had the Kung Pao Chicken (excellent) for dinner. The serving size was large and could have fed two with the addition of an appetizer.Service was very good as well as efficient.I would be a regular if I lived nearby.
Very clean place with very good sushi. They have a non seafood/sushi menu with a great selection of food I didnt try any of it as I went there for the sushi. The sushi is very good in quality and presentation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Its a nice place to come and eat I will be going back.
The taste of the food was good but my reason for the one star is myself and my family have All been in and out of the bathroom all night with horrible stomach cramps and diarrhea. My stomach hasn’t hurt or been so upset like this before. I paid over $100 to get sick. Won’t be going back.
The waitress was very snarky, she really needs to take some classes on customer service. I understand there was lots of people there because of graduation and she was the only waitress there. We were nice, never rude to her. My dad did a gesture once I think she took the wrong way and had attitude after that. Heard the table next to us remark as well that she was high strungbut they too said they were understanding because she was taking on alot. I would suggest some backup when things get out of control there. Dont leave the poor lady to drown. Will I be back, probably not.
If you like good food this is a place for you. The food is always fresh. People are very friendly and at your service. Pricing is moderately priced most of the year. You know how certain foods go up and down in pricing. They have a good wine selection if you can dine in. I have eaten many things on the menu and all of the food was delicious. If you are handicapped this restaurant is easy to get in and out of. If you can dine in, restrooms are clean and so is everything else. I have had many good meals here. Try it some time.
Made me Want to try their whole menu. The food immaculately prepared and fresh. I had a bunch of my favorites like orange chicken and beef and broccoli it was so good!
The crab wontons were weird. The ends were crispy but stale, the bottoms were soggy, and the crab and cream cheese was grainy and nearly all cream cheese.The sushi rolls were ok. The Nigri was good but the rice wasnt packed tight enough and kept falling apart. I dont even think they used sushi rice.Lastly, the waitress. She was condescending when she spoke to us down to the point where she propped the fillable menu and guided her finger along the menu saying well see here on this menu, you marked.... in an irritated voice. She was just rude for no reason. It was really awkward and we took the rest of the food to go.

Their sushi is pretty decent, comparable to actual sushi restaurants that I have eaten at, other than that, the rest of their asian food is pretty bland. Bibimbap? Decent but expensive. Katsu? Eh, its okay, id honestly just rather not order it here. Their seafood soups? My dad didnt like it, but hes pretty picky, so I cant really tell.
I really want to love this place because it’s the only sushi place in phelan. But dang the prices are high real high. The way they cut the fish for hand rolls is in consistent. Sometimes the octopus is cubes sometimes round slices. The rice was kinda hard the last two times. The last time I ate there service was lacking. I feel like I have to go to hesperia or rancho to get sushi. Which is a bummer. .. I really want to love them…
The Sushi is delicious & the Bulgogi was heavenly ... Add very sweet staff & it was perfect!!! Oh & dont forget the green tea ice cream 😍
I really love this place in Phelan. They serve not just sushi but Chinese and Korean barbecue I got the Korean ribeye and it was the best Ive ever had definitely stop by if youre going through Phelan. The prices were great as well in the waitresses are awesome

The white rice stank. It actually smelled like home depot, but it should smell more like rice, and sweet vinegar.Dont ever serve, three day old rice. You cheap-skates.
Where they shine is their food combinations for teriyaki and orange chicken. It was fresh and full of flavor. I highly recommend those. I was disappointed by the sushi, most of them seem bland and its not all you can eat. Customer service was not that good at least the day I came in. Maybe they were having an off day. Also I would stay away from the soup, unfortunately they were not that good. I could not finish it. Basically I would come back for the take out on combination plates but nothing else.

Righting this new because im mad... today 6/25 ay 6:45pm we ordered to go and we do quite often from here, they out 2 orders together in 1 box and the person whos order went in the same box as mine is allergic to salmon. I called to let them know and they wanted to charge us for another one.Me: my friend is allergic to salmon and her food cant be touching mine. Had I know it would be packaged together I would have said somethingWorker: well its random. We only put them together cause it was a small orderMe:and you want to charge us for another one when we didnt know this was going to happen since it never has happened before?Worker: well yeah because its not our faultMe:, its not your fault when you said its random and weve never had 2 orders in 1 box before?I love tbis place but this was extremely unprofessional and rude.
Im at a loss for words for this establishment. Everyone is very nice and professional and the food is very good. Taste, texture, temperature and overall everything is great about the food. For being a small town restaurant it can give well known places in major cities a good competition. The service is also great. Servers are always in a good mood and happy to help with a selection and take your order promptly and correct. Not to mention the server with the glasses is also a very beautiful young woman, sorry dont know her name. But I always recommend this place to people to come and eat and relax.
We went to dinner here. Had Orange Chicken. The chicken was well cooked and the orange sauce tasted good. Also had fried rice and shared some won top soup. Service was good. Was a little pricey but well likely be back there again at some point.
This is a small, fun, friendly sushi/Asian fusion restaurant. It has a nice ambiance. On the walls hang original paintings by the owner that are really good and interesting. The food is always fresh and delicious, sooo delicious. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants.

The food was great but the service was not too good. The server was very short with my party and seemed to be irritated. No kindness was shown at all even when we showed kindness to her. Just not a people person I guess but I am African American and we’re not always respected even though the rest of my party was Hispanic. I don’t know but she sure could have treated us a little more like she’d want to be treated. No utensils were given, no sauces. We had to ask for everything and we still tipped her though she definitely didn’t deserve it.
I have given this place several tries now, ordering different dishes and the food is just average. They increased their prices and cut the ingredients and portions. Off my list!!
Love the Pad Thai and Poke Nachos
The Crab/Shrimp Lovers roll on the Special menu was orgasmically delicious. I could taste the crab and the shrimp in a blend of other delicious flavors. Dipped it my soy sauce/wasabi mix and it was such a delight I wanted more but I was full. Gonna have to come back tomorrow after work again. Im gonna be thinking about those flavors all night long.
I ABSOLUTELY loved this place!!! Very very good food and service. The chef is so sweet and always has a smile on his face!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! Amazing service!!!
This place was off the hook delicious!!! We just moved here from Colorado and this place was incredible!! Service was fantastic!! The only critique is would have is the bathroom had an off putting smell Idk if the sewer is backed up or what but literallyeverything else was phenomenal!
Great little spot for what it is. The chicken fried rice tastes great, and the portion is huge! Im taking home enough for two more meals. The miso soup was great and my friend enjoyed his spicy soup.Ill be back for lunch again.
This is great place to eat Korean, Japanese, and Thai food. Here is good enough enjoy asian food. Also employees are kindness and warmness every single time order. Restroom is very clean too but hall table is dirty. Ask them to clean table.

NOTHING had taste. Was super bland. I had to add my own condiments. I spent more than $30..Im sorry, maybe the chef at the time i ordered was different from other days? maybe a new chef? The reason i went to your place was because of all the wonderful reviews....I still have some of the pad thai. i can bring it to you so you can see ;) ******
Had the dinner for two and it was delicious. One waitress and she was absolutely fabulous and was exceptionally attentive to the many tables and numerous to go orders.

Extremely unprofessional and rude. They treated me as though I wasnt there and never received my food so I left. Pretty sure I heard them talking about firing some girl so they could get the managers wife hired. Should probably call the health inspector also because I saw about 5 or 6 roaches as I waited for food I never received.
This is the 2nd time I have spent my anniversary dinner there with no regrets. We always go for the special to try something new! The sushi and the salad with ginger dressing was amazing. EXCELLENT service.
They employee whoever is the best person each shift. My goodness. You want to enjoy the crown jewel option of Korean and fusion dining in this little town. What better than a little slice of South Korea or Tokyo Japan in the form of reasonably priced delicacy from a number of Asian countries.
Red Mango is one of my favorite places to go eat. There is plenty of room so waiting is not ever a problem. The atmosphere is very nice. The service is wonderful and the food is to DIE for. There is Sushi, Sashimi, Chinese, Japanese and some Korean. All of it is excellent. The owner, Jay, is an artist also, and the walls are full of his works. What a great place to go. I taken all my clients and friends here!
I love the food here! Some of my favs are the garlic edamame, seafood pizza roll, the lunch boxes, red curry, seaweed salad, hot roll, and all of the daily special rolls Ive tried are delicious. Love Jays art on the wall and the friendly, efficient servers.

This is probably the best place to eat in Phelan. The food is always perfect and tastes so good. The owners and workers are super respectful and nice and they treat you like family. Brought me the wrong order. When asked to correct it, our server rolled her eyes and sighed. The sashimi was warm as well. I dont understand how you can mess up that badly when youre not even that busy. Definitely NOT recommending to friends or family.

I have never had bad Chinese food but this place is the worst of any food I ever had the rice was not done the veggies not done the meat that was supposed to be beef was I dont know what it was so gross my son inlaw puked my daughter puked I just didnt eat the garbage $60 down the drain!Avoid this place!update my dog would not eat it!

Our favorite local Asian food place. I say Asian because they have a variety of foods from Asia to choose from, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and it is all good. You wouldnt expect to get good Sushi in a small town in the middle of the Mojave Desert, but that is exactly what you will find at Red Mango. They even have take out.

The spicy udon is marvelous! Try to get a reservation if youre a larger party or in a rush. Definitely more of a sit down relaxed dinner vibe.

The food is good, but place needs a deep cleaning. Menus are dirty, salt and pepper shakers dirty, plastic beer mugs are chipped and old and waitress needs to be more attractive

It is unbelievable that a restaurant of this food quality is in the middle of the desert in a little shopping center! Fresh, savory, athlete portions, inexpensive, great service! Whether a local or passing through..... STOP!

Also, the salad I bit was too watery and kind of plain because I feel like they needed some better ingredients with condiments. Although the steak and chicken tasted better and more delicious because of their sweet flavor. So, I enjoyed eating them. Note: Please skip breakfast if youre here to eat lunch in this restaurant. Or, if youre eating here for dinner, then please skip lunch because there were too much food if you order the main dishes (not the appetizers). Im not joking, folks. Period.

2023-07-19 01:07:51I am a local and this place used to be very good but has taken disgusting turns in the past year, I was dining in and was seated we’re I had a view of the waitresses station, when they would take food out to people and those people would leave they would stack up the used napkins and reuse them and send them back out with another dish, if you do go here check your napkins, absolutely disgusting. There food is not good I got the orange chicken and it came out cold, the service was terrible I ordered a roll as well and the waitress mixed up my roll with another persons roll, all around terrible experience.

2022-03-10 20:29:42Weather food is way over priced for what you get. If it tasted good then I wouldn’t have minded. The crab wontons were burnt on top and the filling was bad. It was just a bunch of imitation crab and hardly any cream cheese. There was a big bone in the sesame chicken. The orange beef was so hard and dried out it was impossible to chew. The shredded piece in the picture is a piece I attempted to eat.

Everything was really fresh and well prepared and super delicious. Ive only been here once, so I cant speak to the entire menu, but the chow mien is great, and the fried rice is absolutely delicious! This place is unfortunately not close to me, but I will definitely be returning. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some tasty food and great service!

2023-06-23 03:41:26This place was our go to in phelan, but its gotten very expensive, new cook doesnt make Food tasty, and server/waitress (KATELYN) very very unprofessional and RUDE, NEEDS TO BE TRAINED in CUSTOMER SERVICE.NOT GOING BACK. Its sad that Jay owner has this kind of staff working for him. It was nice when JayJay and Jessie worked there.

2023-05-15 03:37:23I have tried, REPEATEDLY, to give this place chance after chance. It’s just not good. Once we ordered to go and it was ok, and one of the fried salmon rolls was good. The orange beef is not good, not crispy like Panda Inn or other places but overly doughy like orange chicken. Even the sizzling rice soup was bad. How can you mess up a broth? I’ll tell you, by making it so sweet it tastes like a sugar broth. I don’t care that it’s one of the few local places, it’s just not worth it. Just drive a little further into Hesperia and there are plenty of places that are MUCH better.
