2023-07-21 02:44:24The food, service, and atmosphere were simply AMAZING.Everything is made from scratch and you can tell. The flavor profiles are off the charts. I got the Steak & Shrimp fajitas combo. One of the best steaks Ive ever had. It was so good I shared with my friends and even took some home to my Besties husband. The man who knows and can cook perfect steaks.Warren agreed the steak was excellent and tasty.

2023-10-02 16:52:34Its not a bad restaurant if youre going with friends to socialize or grab a few drinks. The food was decent, but the Taste of Mexico marketing appended to the name doesnt reflect much flavor of Mexico. The service was not bad, everything we needed or asked for was taken care of. I dont remember the bartenders name but shes blonde, working Saturday 9/30/23 in the evening. My friend and I flew in from Mexico for a friends birthday, my wife and I will return in a couple months and to be honest I most likely will not bring her here.

2023-09-11 03:33:43We came here to celebrate my best friends birthday. What I ordered:- pan seared sea bass: the texture of the fish just melts in your mouth, cooked completely right. the sauce topping was so delicious, not spicy at all, albeit a little salty but it seasons the fish! the rice is well cooked, well seasoned and overall delicious. 10/10- cocorita: it was a cute little cocktail, came with lemon juice and you pour it into the coconut. they filled the drink up to the top so you had to drink some from the coconut first to pour in the lemon juice but it was worth it 10/10Overall: 100/10, would recommend this place but do be aware of the price. for 6 people, we paid around 92-100$ per person. Worth it though.

2023-10-20 23:55:35I attended an event here and was impressed with their food, drinks and vibes. They have a tequila cart that offers a variety of tequilas. 🥃 I’m not a tequila person but I loved my cocorita (margarita in a fresh coconut). 🥥

2023-11-01 03:05:01On a scale from 1 to 5, I give this a 20. From the atmosphere to the customer service, tequila cart all the way up to the very delicious food we enjoyed it all.The fish tacos Were an explosion of flavor, the Chilean sea bass was nice and crisp and the aged ribeye with chipotle was to die for.If you’re in San Diego and not stop by here, you really should you were doing your taste buds a disservice.Thank you Red O team !

2023-08-13 21:10:56My husband and I have ordered takeout from Red O a few times, and yesterday we decided to dine in for my birthday. The restaurant is lit romantically dim and ornately decorated. Definitely photo worthy. The food is excellent, and the seafood always tastes fresh and is well prepared. Worth a visit for the ambience and delicious dishes. Servers were kind of pushy with offering expensive tequila shots.

2023-06-09 05:06:18Honestly very good. We both got New York strips and left feeling adequately full but not overstuffed like you experience at so many steakhouses. Also ate nearly a whole basket of chips and salsa. Parking is easy enough to find, they do valet but when you enter the area look for posted signage indicating a covered garage. It will be to the left of the building in a parking garage as you enter from the west. They validate parking tickets.

2023-06-20 14:42:20Good experience but pricy…Creamy been dip NOT GOOD, Guacamole was OK.18OZ aged angus cowboy ribeye was good $62 and 32OZ TomaHawk $115 was even better but super super pricy for both of the stakes…The waiter disclosed the price of the later prior to ordering!Basically; two Entrees two appetizers two drinks one side salad for $250 + $47 tips = $300 😳P.S. Pina-Colada was good but the second mangorrita wasNOT GOOD at all..both were virgin drinks…The busboy was awesome so we tipped him separately for his great attitude and work, and he is the major reason for giving them 4stars!!!BTW; we were given a seat inside but on the patio there is a very pretty landscape seen, it worth to sit where you can see the beautiful natureManager; NOT WELCOMING AT ALL

2023-07-02 23:49:18This was our fourth trip to the Red O and I couldnt be happier or ask for more. You can park for free, valet, or even use the brand new trolley--so there are no issues with getting in the door. The host staff is polite, professional, and wants to help you get where you are going, depending on if you want to watch a game, have a quiet dinner or listen to live music.Oysters are my favorite food, they have the freshest and usually more than one type to pick from. The Ahi appetizer is the best Ive ever had, tableside guacamole is delicious, and the carnitas empanadas are my new favorite food. There are also amazing duck taquitos, and lots of other great apps.Main course--you cannot go wrong with carnitas, Lobster, or (something I didnt know I liked) Chilean SeaBass--you will finish your plate and want more. Also, if you like sauces, the three enchilada combo is a great deal and you can sample a little of each.Tres leches cake for dessert, tons of signature cocktails, service held to the highest standard, and a wonderful GM, Mark, was going around, checking on celebrations and birthdays, and just generally being the force that keeps this place a well-oiled machine. We came once and have been back three more times, the food and exceptional service and a wonderful management team make this a perfect place to relax and enjoy.
