Awesome food and service. I love this restaurant, the owner of this restaurant is very kind and nice! They provide traditional Chinese food here, and I went there for many times. Highly recommend stir-fried egg with tomatoes and coconut shrimp. If you want to try some typical Chinese food, choose this restaurant!

Self serve, charged by the weight for a reasonable price. You could get a little bit of everything if you wanted to.Fried rice, chow mein, broccoli beef, orange chicken, Chinese bbq pork, black pepper chicken, fried fish, string beans, popcorn chicken, honey walnut shrimp, fries chicken (sometimes), fried shrimp (sometimes), and other stuff that I havent gotten yet.Seems like they recently got a new chef. I liked the food so much before but now it is even better. I go almost every day and never get tired of it.

Americanized Chinese fast food in IV. I would call this a better version of Panda Express. The portion sizes are quite good and you can get a three plate for around $12.Im still not sure what a three plate is vs. a two plate, but I think you should be able to get three sides with a three plate. You can get half/half rice and noodles as a main for each plate.I think this place has a better deal than the Panda Express on campus (UCen) but its probably not worth coming to IV for lunch.Food:Rice was kind of dry but I thought it was good. Chow mein-esque noodles were okay.Orange chicken was pretty good. Slightly sweet which I liked and the breading wasnt hollow like it can be. Overall worth the money considering its IV. Price is around the same as Lao Wang and Panda.Last thing to note is that they only take cash and venmo, no credit card.Pictured: Orange chicken, roast chicken, rice and noodle.

Not sure how people are comparing this to a better version of Panda Express. At least at panda it’s fresh. Food was horrible. (Ended up throwing it out). I could tell it was horrible but I started putting food on the plate and it’s a 1lb minimum. So about 9$ and tax per 1lb.

The quality of the food here is absolutely horrendous. It always seems like the food is a day old and not made with quality ingredients. I have given this place multiple tries and each time is has been equally disappointing. 0/10 would not recommend.

Clean your bathroom or dont allow customers to use it. Its disgusting. I spent 25 dollars on my food only to be disgusted after washing my hands.I didnt need to see female higiene products in the trash can.

The dishes at this no-frills Chinese restaurant are simple, but will give any existing establishment a run for their money. Don’t let their outwardly-plain appearance fool you; the food here is delicious and the value is unmatched. The refreshing focus on food rather than ambiance results in menu items that are affordable enough to eat daily. Order the 3-entree plate to get the most for your money.

I have no words. Either the workers are confused or they’re just scamming people out of their money.Update: I added two stars simply because I’ve had positive experiences with the actual Red Pepper restaurant in the past, and I’m just going to chalk this up to a need for training. But just to be clear, it wasn’t just that fact that I paid twice the amount I should’ve for half of the food. It was also the fact that the food was ice cold, and the “beef and broccoli” had literally two crumbs of beef. It’s just ratchet and feels like they cut corners just because it’s in IV. I truly can’t understand why they’d allow food of that quality to go out under their name when they’ve had such a great reputation.

Pretty good Chinese food. Like a local version of Panda Express. Nothing fancy or high end, but great taste and portion for the price (especially nowadays with the inflation). Restaurant can use an interior/exterior re-design though. It looks like a factory right now, lol.

Pros:Good food. Good variety. Convenient. Cheap price.Cons:All the dishes lean toward the sweet side, including chow mein. Might wanna tone down on the sugar. Also, no Doordash or GrubHub delivery services available (as of Feb, 2022)...I mean, come on :\
