Nice that they were open on a holiday. Wasnt busy at 10 AM. Ordered and was ready pretty quick. They call your name and bring it out to you.Outside seating available. Parking isnt bad in the morning.Checked in on Yelp and got to redeem a free coffee.Our group all got breakfast items. Breakfast burrito and sandwiches. Coffees and cider.I had the yogurt granola bowl. It was good. Glad the granola didnt have coconut in it since I dont like that. The honey is a packet on top. It would be better if it was fresh local honey they have in a condiment cup instead of the packet.Also picked up a blueberry scone which was buttery and not dry at all. A must try.

My husband and I got the Cali Cheesesteak and Turkey Club. Both sandwiches were okay but left the consumer slightly dissatisfied. I got my turkey club toasted, which made the bread stiff and caused it to slice up the roof of my mouth. I feel like eating a toasted sandwich shouldnt microabrasion my mouth to the extent that it did. Overall, an okay sandwich and deli.

We stopped by on our way to Santa Barbara. The sandwiches we ordered were huge, fresh and super tasty. The potato salad was phenomenal! The service was also very friendly. This deli will now be our regular stop for food whenever we go to visit our daughter.

Love it. Line was a little long but so worth the wait. I got the Reuben sandwich with everything on it. 10/10. No need to order extra meat. Maybe bigger slices of bread recommended but still delicious. If your lucky, you can get $6.00 off too. Not sure if its randomized. But it was my lucky day. Coffee is good too. Honey bee was a good choice, a little sweet but can ask for less sweet.

This deli makes the best potato salad. We ordered four different sandwiches. They used fresh ingredients and tasty bread. They made our special sandwich orders correctly. We ate under shaded outdoor seating. The restrooms are in the air conditioned theatre next door. We are happy customers.

Yo… You know when you find a place that caters to different diets on their menu AND actually makes them really really good?! Well that is that place! Visited wine country with my vegan friend and looked all through the options in the area and was pleasantly surprised by how many choices they had for us. Got the tofu breakfast sandwich which had so much flavor and quality ingredients that absolutely anybody would fall in love with it. Went to share the positive feedback with the team and they were so gracious in accepting it. You can tell they’re a happy group of young people who enjoy what they do. Plenty of seating outside! And oh, I got one of their scones which was a delight! Definitely come support them and fill up your belly before visiting the wineries!

We had box lunches delivered to Mission San Miguel Archangel for 94 people. Sandwich choices were varied and came with persons name on box. DELICIOUS! Had one person say it was best box lunch they had ever eaten. The BALT and ROO received high raves. Staff was professional and accommodating. Lunches delivered on time by a friendly delivery guy. So appreciated by our Ryan Ramble car tour participants. Thank you Red Scooter!

We ordered a breakfast burrito and lox bagel and were very disappointed with the quality. My tortilla in burrito was stale, hard and crunchy and just not good. My friends bagel was hard and had no cream cheese in it but some tzatziki looking sauce which was weird! Not a good breakfast experience especially on two items that are so simple to make!

Dont count on getting your food quick (took 17 minutes for one sandwich at 245pm on a Tuesday)... Or friendly service... Or them following your instructions like toasting the bread... Or being able to sit inside out of the heat. Basically the only thing decent about this place is the food. The sandwich itself Id give 4/5.Addendum to the original review above. As you can see below the owner only cares about making money. A discount? Wow. By the way, the reason I mentioned the time was because it WASNT BUSY. Your employees simply dont work hard/fast. (At lm east when I was there) The only lady that was working was the one that actually made the sandwich. And even she wasnt pleasant to me. I wont be going back, and recommend everyone else not to either.Oh, and way to be timely in your response! Lol. 1 star.

I have been eating here for a couple years and have tried a few of the sandwiches(turkey club on sourdough, chicken salad on a croissant, ham and cheese breakfast croissant)the nutty tax salad the lemon bars, scones(good but I don’t think they are the right texture for scones)and cookies. Everything I have tried has been good but my favorite is their nutty razz salad and my husband loves their banana nut blast smoothie.

Perfect location on the downtown Paso Robles park square. We ordered ahead online for pickup when passing through Paso. The order was ready and waiting on a table inside - convenient! They have outdoor seating but we took out sandwiches to the park across the street (it was in the sun!). We ordered 2 whole sandwiches to share - avocado reuben (hot) and chick-alicious (cold). We were fans of both! I would definitely get the avo reuben again. No wifi & no bathrooms - there are publis restrooms on the south side of the park that can be used. Street parking is available and free for the first 2 hours during enforced hours. Highly recommend for any meal - good amount of vegetarian / vegan options.

This is my second visit to Red Scooter...after a disastrous first visit a few days ago. My daughter rated our experience on another site and the manager responded. They were beyond apologetic and asked us to give them one more try. Isaac was polite, curteous and friendly and the sandwiches were yummy. Well make this restaurant our regular stop when driving thru the area.

This week I hosted a luncheon for 16 seniors. I ordered 16 box lunches from RSD. 😋Everyone was delighted! We ordered by email 48 hours in advance, and for my purposes, I included the first names of everyone receiving a box, to help me pass them out. When our delivery person arrived with our 16 boxes, each one was already labeled with a name of the person receiving that box. That was wonderful. RSD potato salad is the only potato salad I like better than my own. The broccoli salad was delightful, as was the fresh fruit salad. My guests enjoyed the chicken salad croissant, the Roast Beef & Swiss cheese croissant, and the most popular item was The Bird, turkey with cranberry and cream cheese. We will definitely order from Red Scooter again, and our next Winery trip will include some box lunches from Red Scooter. We got very personalized service, had great communication. Amazing Deli.

Pretty good food at a fair price, but the wait times are unreasonably long. Went in yesterday and waited 30 minutes for two sandwiches which to me is unreasonable for a casual quick eat establishment.Our friends who ordered after us, received their food 10 minutes faster. To me, this signals that orders are not handled First In, First Out manner or that there is an issue with how orders and sandwich assembly is done. It’s the lack of transparency and communication which is the most frustrating.To reiterate, food is fine but the service and wait time is disappointing. Not worth the value in my opinion for two $10 sandwiches.

This is by far the best deli in Paso Robles. The staff is always friendly, they have a huge menu, orders are completed extremely fast, and the sandwiches are delicious! I come here for my lunch break almost every day and get the chicken salad croissant sandwich. It is out of this world amazing! If youre in Paso Robles, do yourself a favor and try Red Scooter deli. You wont be disappointed.

There was a separate vegan menu which was great! I ordered the Chick-alicious sandwich, it was delicious, I love chickpea sandwiches, this one had red onion, pickles, celery, sprouts & vegan cheese. No nonsense sandwich lunch 👍🏻Very small indoors, lots of outdoor tables though, best if you grab and go, there is a nice park to sit on the lawn across the way. Washrooms are in the movie theatre next door.

We tried Red Scooter for lunch. The pastrami and turkey/avocado sandwiches were fine. Decent sized and good flavor. Nothing particularly memorable. Red Scooter get the extra star because despite being busy, the line moved fast, the food came out reasonably fast, and the woman running the cash register was very friendly and welcoming. When considering the whole experience, wed try Red Scooter again, we just might try different sandwiches.

Very good food. This place is small but churns out allot of orders. My wife and I went for lunch and found the food was really good, made fresh and gave out large portions. My wife have the chicken salad on a croissant. And me, being vegan, was surprised to see they had a big vegan selection. I ended up getting the chickpea tuna sandwich on toasted wheat. Well worth the trip if youre in the area.

Really great place with tons of options for everyone! Weve been here multiple times now on separate visits to Paso Robles and everyone weve tried is great. The vegan tuna sandwich is great, especially on Dutch Crunch. The Chili & Tofu Scramble on bagel is great too, although I might have reduced the amount of onions in it, personally. The Thai wrap is really good as well. Basically, theres something for everyone here so you can keep coming back here and order according to your mood and time of day (breakfast/lunch/dinner). 👍👍

I ordered 7 Boxed lunches for my group. We were going wine tasting and wanted lunch while on our tour. It was a great boxed lunch that provided a sandwich, chips, side salad and a cookie. For the cost it was great! I was able to place my order online and add special requests for the sandwiches. They labeled all the sandwiches which made it easy to hand out and the order was correct. Red Scooter Deli made it easy for our driver to pick up our order. I would definitely recommend Red Scooter and I would definitely order again from this deli.

Really good sandwiches! I had the reubenesque and my fiance had the chicken club. Employees are very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They have patio seating and the umbrellas protected us from the rain. Wasnt too busy when we went, we waited about 10-15 minutes for our sandwiches. Honestly worth the wait considering we are in a pandemic.

My friends and I stopped in at this place to get some vegetarian lunches to go. We were all so surprised to see how accommodating the staff were to our dietary needs. The containers were even decorated for the occasion. This caterer will satisfy high-end food connoisseurs to those looking for an easy but delicious food experience. Our lunch was perfect. Its very popular and gets slightly crowded during the lunch hour but the wait is well worth it. If you make it to Paso Robles and want a quick eat thats great quality, go to Red Scooter Deli. Free parking around the area, it may be difficult to find a space during the meal hours.

I love this place. Not only is the food excellent the staff is always very friendly. They have no problems customizing your order to fit your needs. My personal favorite is the Cobb salad with no corn and my son loves their grilled cheese kids meal. Also super inexpensive for what you get.

I had the Stacia, which was a perfect blend of flavors. One sandwich could easily feed two people. Also had the Nutty Raz salad. Also, the salad fed more than one person. Maybe tone down the serving of walnuts with the salad, but am I really going to complain about too many nuts? We also ordered the Mediterranean and the Roo. Scrumptious! Don’t miss this place. Way better than and chain sandwich place you can go to. The seating is limited but offers a nice patio just off of downtown park but they deliver as well for you to enjoy of your lunch break at work or even if you just dont feel like leaving the house on the weekend.

They have been a favorite place for me for the last year! They have healthy and delicious food. Recently, I ordered online and they gave me the wrong brownie and I sent an e-mail and I got a really nice response saying sorry and that they will make it better for me. Then, in another order (yesterday) they were out of brownies. Today, I got a surprise delivery with 3 free brownies! How awesome is this? This is what great customer service is, thank you Red Scooter!

I work as a chef and I just moved to paso. When your in a new city its sometimes hard to find a place this GOOD!! Im so happy I chose them for a sandwich cause this wad one of the BEST sandwiches Ive had in a while!! Quality ingredients and healthy choices plus a nice staff to boot. I had the bbq chicken club and it was perfect. I originally asked for half and they wouldnt do it and Im glad they didnt cause I loved every bite!! I especially liked the spicy sauce and brioche bun. Another wonderful lunch at Red Scooter Deli. While Ive tried a number of things here I almost always end up with the Reuben. Between two slices of incredible Hush Harbor bread the meat, cheese and spread make for a sumptuous lunch. My wife and I usually split the sandwich because its a handful. Being a bit more peckish today I added a cup of the French onion soup. Outside on the patio with warm sun and lots of tourists to watch it was a great meal. Tourist or local, dont miss this place. Good food, nice folks, pleasant views and a doggo friendly patio. What more could you ask for? Go. Eat. Enjoy.

We went there on June 5 2021, we placed our order a hour in advance. We were one of three couples that placed an order. Ours went in 1st followed by two others. When we got to the deli they have a counter where they put online orders, to our surprise our order and another order were not there. The order that got placed last was there. We asked about the other two orders and were told are you sure you placed them, I responded well you took the money out of my account with no problem. The girl that was helping me said let me check again after a few minutes she came back and said we found your order and it is being finished right now, it will be 2 more minutes. 10 minutes later I went back and asked again and nobody knew anything about our order. This time a guy asked what we ordered and went back, at this time I saw many people that showed up and just placed there orders getting them. After about another 10 minutes we finally got our sandwiches. The sandwiches were ok not the best we had had from here. I felt that nobody really cared about how bad the service was that poor customer care is just ok. I would not go back to this place again there are other places that are better or just as good with alot better customer service. Mr pickles in San luis obispo has them beat.

A variety of salads are abundant here. They probably have the best salads for the price ($10-12). It is a deli so it is very casual - plastc forks & paper plates but if you dont mind that, this venue is a gem! The staff could be friendlier. It is a hit or miss here when it comes to customer service.

You can tell the ingredients are always fresh. They carry Boars Head meat great quality good product. Daily specials are wonderful. Today I had the chef salad lots of meat and lots of veggies so filling. I should have had the half. Roast beef on the roast beef sandwich was tender. I like when you bite into a sandwich and you only get the bite you want you dont pull all the meat out. Red scooter deli is amazing. Give it a try.

I have been here probably 6 or 7 times over the last year and I have to say that it is mediocre at best. The staff are all nice. I dont know what it is, its like the sandwiches and wraps are too dry or something. The minimal toppings are used. I got a wrap yesterday that was supposed to have roasted pepper on it, and there was maybe 4 tiny slices of pepper in the burrito sized wrap. The wrap was 90% spinach wich is really hard to eat when the wrap is as dry as it was, I had to take a drink after every bite just to get it to go down.

Probably the best and most unexpected lunch spot in Paso Robles. When I planned a visit to Paso Robles I was looking for possible lunch spots and this place made the short list. I would have expected more your average place with some sandwich selection and may be salads but the menu actually was pretty expansive and with wonderful variety.The place is very small I think only a couple of tables inside but the main action is actually outside where they have 6 tables with a view of the park. The fare is from a nice family run deli, Cold cuts are fresh, so are the salads the cheese is not like quite a few places I had a misfortune of visiting, but nice (maybe even artisanal) crumble, coffee tastes like coffee.
