Red Tomatoes Farmers Market is a grocery store for Halal, Mediterranean food, fruits, and vegetables. They feature fresh produce, halal meat and Mediterranean food. A large variety of fruits and vegetables and a wide selection of spices from different parts of the world are available here. The inside of this place is somewhat clean and kind of organized. The ambience of this place is soothing and always gives a middle eastern vibe. They are not the cheapest, but they have decent prices and are well worth the visit for a routine grocery shopping. There’s also a Mediterranean restaurant inside of Farmers Market which is known as Red Tomatoes Mediterranean Grill. They serve Falafel, Shawarma, Kebabs, Rotisserie Chicken, and other Mediterranean as well as Arabic food. Their food is good, but the price is high. In fact, it’s a bit expensive. Their overall service is appreciable.

I’ve lived in Rancho for 4 years and this is and Super King are really the only 2 grocery stores I go to, but since Red Tomatoes is closer, I always end up going here, instead. I have to say that the cleanliness and overall safety of this store has SIGNIFICANTLY declined during the past few years. I was there yesterday and I couldn’t count how many gnats and flies were all over the produce section, it was absolutely disgusting and I ended up just getting dry-goods, instead. The produce is rarely fresh and it just sits there for days or weeks, until they actually replace it with fresh and SAFE produce.A few months ago I also purchased rice from this store, only to find out that it was infested with pantry moths. It wasn’t until I opened our pantry that I found it had completely infested our pantry and it has taken me SIX months to get rid of them by using pantry moth traps that I luckily found on Amazon. I had to use several traps and counted over 50 moths that continually reproduced and infested our pantry (see picture).During the summer I went here a few times and during the days when the temperature outside was 100+ there was no AC running inside and it’s always dark and muggy inside. It really makes you think about the sanitation and safety of all of the food products (especially the meat department).Having decent prices for groceries is one thing but my family’s safety and health come before everything.The owner/management needs to take a thorough look at the store and start by mopping the disgusting floors and just sanitizing and cleaning it. We will not be shopping at Red Tomatoes any longer, unfortunately.

Red Tomatoes Farmers Market, is a good place to get vegetables, spices, fruits, non-vegetarian, dairy, even some special utensils of the Middle East.Here most of the Middle East and Asian spices you can get. Of course not the same brand most of the time but, spices will be the same.Here I saw several new kinds of fruits, which I have not seen before.

None of the store employees were kind or friendly. The store is dark and dank, veges are mixed, some good some way over-ripe. I used to love to go to a Mediterranean grocery store in Pasadena. The employees were very helpful and kind, the food was fresh and the store was very light and airey. I will not go to Red Tomatoes again.

I always buy international food there too. Everything is well packed and delicious! I got Rose Hip spread and it is a product from Croatia. Absolutely delicious! It is my favorite now!

Got a Falafel Sandwich tasted like they had it pre made and nuked it what a shame even the chicken rotisserie leg plate was Nuked . My mom would slap me if I brought her food from here . I still have to make fun of our friend who suggested I go there. Mediterranean food has a lot of love put into it not here. Sorry

If I can go less than one star . I was there today and I found a pizza pot the the price on the shelf was $ 7.98 and a bigger one the price was $10.99 . The heavy set cashier charged me $13.98 and $ 11.99 .when I told her those prices are in. Correct . She said it is misplaced. I said a whole stack of them . She said show me . I took her and showed her . The posted price .on both items Then went back to the cashier. She said it is the price I said so either take it or leave it . I tried to call the MGM . They put me on hold for 20 minutes.So I hope for the better business or consumer affairs to check it out and protect consumers from fraudulent activity

I was first leery off coming here cause its owned by Muslims/Prussians but the fruit discounts are great usually $1 00 to $1 50a pd for grapefruits oranges 🍊 or peachesSowhat the heck Ive been coming for 3 yrs since they opened

Been shopping here for years. since its a halal place never thaught they would sell something bad. but I was wrong. please everyone check the expiration date on their products before shopping. most of their items (can foods) are expired and literally you can tell they play with the dates if you are expert.Attention owner. please stop being cheap buying junks for dirt price.this community is trusting you and feeding you for years. how could you handle this community in hereafter?
