Finished hiking and found Redwood Grill purely by chance! So glad we found this spot. Staff is quick and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely return for another Redwood burger (and the perfect onion rings)!

My son and I came for brunch on Saturday. We ate outside on the patio. Really nice atmosphere, great shade coverage pet friendly. The food was amazing 🤩 my son had the Redwood chicken sandwich made it spicy and I had beef hash with brussels sprouts so delicious 😋

Nice clean place with lots of seating. Open all day. Courteous waiters. We had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and deviled eggs for appetizers. Sprouts was a huge dish and some left to take home. I had the Redwood Burger. Bun was soft but held together and the meat was tender. Fries were crispy and tasty. Others had the Beet Salad ( a huge portion) and the BLT. Both were tasty and wolfed down. Plenty of parking.

New restaurant with typical American food, I had no expectations, but surprisingly was so impressed with this place. It is great for casual lunch or dinner. A lot of space (indoor and outdoor), big tables for families or groups. Every dish was so good, especially burger and beet salad. Great kids menu with healthy sides/veggies. Awesome service, everyone so friendly and helpful. Free wifi (most plazas in LAltos have no reception). We definitely will be back with friends and family!

We LOVE the redwood grill! Perfect family restaurant. But also cool enough for a business lunch. Everything is delicious and the crispy brussel sprouts are the best Ive ever had!

Nicely updated restaurant space in the historic Rancho Shopping Center. They put a lot into the place, but it has a cozy feel that fits with the surroundings. The menu isn’t long but it has something for anyone. My partner was thrilled with the Tomato Soup, paired with the very cheesy Grilled Cheese. She opted out of the mustard/horseradish. I had the Burger with Onion Rings, both were excellent. The burger held together well and the brioche was fresh. The rings were large, fat, crispy, but were tender and didn’t break apart. Enjoy the wall art and the historic photos. Bathrooms completely remodeled and fresh - not bad for a 70 year old building. Will definitely come back!

Enjoyed excellent sliders, tacos, acai bowl, and drinks....all at happy hour prices that were so reasonable. Tomato soup is made daily and it was excellent. Place has had a remodel. Owner is there serving. Comfortable. Clean. Good tvs in the bar. So excited to go back.Passed this by for so long because we assumed that it would be much like previous occupants. Its much better.

Good food - I had the chicken salad - and friendly service. Pretty quiet area: its in a strip mall but theres little foot traffic/noise, and we sat outside in their garden style seating area. Very pleasant and sunny.

We were driving home from work and decided to have dinner here. It was our 1st time visiting this establishment. My Husband loved the brisket tacos and my Smash burger was cooked perfectly at medium-well. The service was awesome and we will definitely be back for the weekend brunch.

Food was amazing. A better lunch than I’ve had in a long time. The wedge salad was wonderful... Every ingredient was high quality and the ratios were right… just can’t say enough good things about this place. You can tell they make everything themselves… even the tortilla chips. And the front patio was so nice. Eat here. Bring your fam.

The food was delicious. Service was very good. Old fashioned style with a great menu including bbq ribs. RG also has a full bar and big screen TVs featuring sports. Nice place to eat well and have some fun!

They add a 5% operational surcharge to every bill! This is a deceptive and dishonest practice for sure. They should simply add 5% to the price of every menu item, because that is in fact what you are paying. If you see a menu item here for $15, it is equivalent to a $15.75 item at any other honest restaurant that doesnt try to hide its costs in bogus surcharges.

I visited this place for lunch (around 12:30). Whenever I go to a place that has the word Grill on its name I expect one thing: Grilled food. Can you imagine going to a Taqueria and being told that theres omelettes?. Well, thats kind of how it went, I was offered a selection of egg preparations and a couple of sandwiches. I dont know what you guys are doing, you had one job, maybe dinner is different, maybe theres a grill somewhere in Redwood Grill, who knows...We ordered the chicken sandwich and an avocado toast and one beer; nothing special and overpriced if you ask me (~$50 for the three things before tipping). Service was good yet when tipping the device started at 20% which felt a bit forced. Not coming back.

Los Altos Rancho-area residents finally have a great local/close restaurant - this shopping center feels alive again! Redwood Grill is awesome; tastefully decorated with a beautiful clash of modern meets history (especially love the old Rancho mural above the bar and the bar table lights), a phenomenal and attentive staff, with simply delicious food (the shrimp tacos are now an addiction). Eat and support local! We look forward to our weekly dinner dates here. Thank you!

The shrimp tacos lunch was okay, but I was expecting more pizzazz from the sauce. Loads of chips, but a little thick and over cooked for my taste. No dark beers available, but I did get a taster of the waiters recommendation. Booths and tables available, plus a full bar with sports TVs.

Weekend menu selections are not that many. The service is fast and friendly. Business is ok.
