Do not stay on this property. The property is very old and bathroom are so small that even a slim person can not properly go inside it. The quality of tap water is hard and even you can not wash your hands properly. We have paid them more than $130 per day but the quality of water and bathroom are not good. They charge you extra $9 dollar for parking which generally do not happen in other hotels. I highly recommend not to visit this property.
The room is old and everything in it, sofa was gross the whole second floor was creeking and the floor next to the tub was sinking, the vent fan on the microwave wasn’t working so we had to move to another room. Felt unsafe in the parking lot, there’s few non hotel guests just chilling in the parking lot. Being a platinum elite member, i was hoping for a better stay than this.
First time I have been disappointed with a Marriott Hotel. Location is great for Disneyland proximity and roomier with a bigger family but thats the only positive thing to say. The door to our room was extremely hard to open unless you use brute force. One day I ended up spilling some of my food from the complimentary breakfast because I simply could not open the door with one hand. Several things wrong with our stay: the room had a HEAVY smell of smoking. With 3 kids that is not ideal. Id feel a slight headache every time I entered the front door because it was so strong. Also the ceiling fan in the living room didnt work or have any way of turning on. The microwave didnt work. When I book hotels, I find ones with microwaves for the purpose of heating up food, which I couldnt do during this trip. The toilets are extremely small and look like they are more for kids. But the worst part of all was that during our 5 day stay, I didnt get trash pick up once. On the 4th day I went down to front desk to request for trash, toilet paper refills and towel exchange. Sadly after coming back at midnight after a long day...we came to find that they had left toilet paper and towels on the couch, but had not bothered to empty our trash. I understand with Covid things and times have changed, but do you really think guests can stay in a room for 5 days and not have any trash? I was upset especially after I told front desk we needed it to be done while we were gone for the day. This is NOT Marriott standard and do not plan to stay here again.
For It’s kind, it is a decent choice. We were a family of five, with 3 teenagers, and took the 2 story room. Don’t be mistaken by the name, the rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. It is relatively clean,they only come in once a week but will provide towels as much as needed. The bath amenities are good but of course nothing more than shampoo and shower gel. It is a 12 minutes drive frown Disney and 45 from universal. Anaheim itself has enough dining options. The breakfast is the usual omelet, cereal and muffins thing. Not enough choices though and not even a bagel,just regular bread. The front desk team is super nice and friendly at all hours of the day. They kept packages for me and allowed us to stay another hour at checkout.
I started working with Yuri a few months before my stay to set up a wedding block for my group. Yuri was always very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate my special needs as the bride. Josephine was so warm and welcoming at check in and had everything ready to go for my rooms. She even called after we were in the room and made sure everything was good. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gift for us that was left in the room the first night and a fresh clean room for our second night after our wedding. We truly appreciate everyone we encountered during our stay and look forward to staying again when we are in the area.
The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I felt like I was in a condo more than a hotel room. The breakfast was very good and offered a variety of food; eggs, oatmeal (instant or regular cooked) waffles, fruit, cold cereal and juices. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.
If I could leave zero stars then I would. This place was awful. We arrived after our check in time and the room still wasnt ready. 30 mins later, we step into our room and were greeted with an overwhelming smell of wet dog. We went to the reception to to tell them about the smell, someone came in and sprayed the room but we could still smell it. This was only one of the problems, when we pulled back the bed sheets there were black hairs and questionable stains on the sheets. Back up to reception we went, told them again about the smell and now the sheets to be told there were no rooms the same as ours to be moved to and was only offered a down grade. We specifically booked that room as we had 3 adults and a teenager and wanted our own space and not be cramed up in a small room. We were not offered anything further. They sent someone I to deal with the smell and change the sheets. Meanwhile we went to Walmart and bought air fresher, cleaning products and new bed sheets. We stayed there a week and it was awful, smell hardy went. We only stayed here out of convenience, went out early and stayed out late so we didnt have to be there any longer than necessary. On checking out we were offered points for another stay, but not offered any compensation for our disgusting stay. I asked if we were expected to pay the full amount and was offered a slight refund. When we checked all that was taken off was the parking and half of one night. We stayed fpr 7 nights, costing way more than it was worth. We didnt even have the complementary breakfast as we were so disgusting with the cleanliness. Absolutely disgusting, would never stay here again. They have a cheek charging those prices
Smoke alarm beeping every 30s throughout my entire stay. Reported it to the front desk a number of times stating it was affecting my sleep. They said they would do something about it but never did. Walking around the campus you can hear other smoke detectors beeping. Seems they simply do not maintain the batteries in their smoke detectors and dont care that it affects residents sleep
Rooms are refreshing! Its peaceful and they have a nice outside area to swim, lounge near a firepit, and play a game of hoops. The breakfast area is HUGE and the food is awesome. This is a great stop to getaway and relax. The staff is awesome!!
The family suite split loft was perfect for four friends visiting Placentia for a family event. The staff is great, beds are comfortable, and the suite was clean in all areas. An issue with the TV was fixed as soon as I notified the front desk. The only complaint is on the bed pillows! They are horribly uncomfortable, so I suggest bringing your own! The hotel is quiet even though close to the freeway. There are places to eat located a short distance from the hotel, and nightlife not far away in Brea. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! We have stayed here many times in the past when visiting our oldest son, and definitely will return!
Booked a studio for my Valentine. We both enjoyed it so much and we would do it again soon. The only downfall for this hotel is a charging fee for your vehicles over night stay. About $35 per vehicle- other than that the room and continental breakfast are sensational, just like the pictures.Oh if u need something from front desk you actually have to walk to the front to pick up. BBQ is VERY dirty n couldn’t be used. Check out is at 12pm so that’s very nice!
Room was well stocked and extremely clean. Staff was very friendly. I had one issue with the internet speed which affected Netflix on the TV, but the night porter fixed it quickly. She was very friendly as well. Everything else was in working order. Water was extremely hot and I loved the Cleanings of the kitchen and bathroom. Not one hair in site. Excellent overall. I will be back.
The rooms need updating but they were clean. Except the smell. We couldn’t understand why but the room was unpleasant with the odor of marijuana, despite airing it out constantly. It lasted the duration of our stay.Pillows are great. Mattresses are awful. Like sleeping on a bouncy house. Sofa is appalling. No support. Old. Very uncomfortable.Not enough toiletries, TP, towels provided. Dispensers were empty or almost empty. 2 shampoos in the bathroom downstairs. 2 conditioners upstairs. Tiny soaps in inadequate quantity. Dish soap missing. All required phone call to desk. Inconvenient.Insufficient parking but it’s well-lit and we had no problems and saw no sign of anyone else having problems.Water dispenser in the gym was broken.Breakfast OK. Friendly staff. Friendly front desk.Highlight of stay was the wonderful housekeeper tucked my son’s Pokémon plushie into bed when he cleaned the room. It was a very sweet touch and we appreciated it.Also, the front desk woman shooed a transient off the property. We were intimidated by his presence. He seemed mentally ill or inebriated. We were dreading staying because of this. She came out and encouraged him to leave the picnic table outside our room and find someplace else to go. We thought it was incredibly brave of her and we appreciated it very much. We would have regretted staying with you if there were transients on the property.
When checking in I was explicitly told there is no partying in the rooms and a $300 refundable deposit for damage would be placed on my card. Nothing anywhere on the website states that such a steep deposit would be placed on my card.Accommodations were spacious but not that nice. We stayed in the family suite which has two separate sleeping spaces and two bathrooms. Both bathroom floors had what looked like cigarette burn marks on them and they were sunken in near the toilets. Main room door had gaps large enough to see outside. Bathroom doors had gaps and you could see people on the toilet from out of the bathroom. One of the bathrooms was so small you could barely sit on the toilet without your legs hitting the shower or the walls. To be honest, it looked like this place used to be a cheaper hotel and Marriott bought the place and put in new furniture. Really not up to the expectations that Ive had at other Residence Inns. I will definitely not stay here for our next trip to LA.The main lobby/gym/breakfast area were just as nice as a typical Residence Inn. It was our actual room that was substandard.
This place is amazing, I love the apartment look and feel with fireplace and loft. The breakfast is not great but there is a full kitchen with dishware available. I would stay again and next time Ill plan to make my own breakfast.
The staff were friendly and professional. Cheerful.The room smelled bad. The carpet had a strong old muggy smell of urine. It is a pet friendly hotel and there were many dogs around during our stay. So that might have been the reason.
I am a loyalty customer for Marriott as I take a lot of business trips. I love Marriott a lot that I now only stay at Marriott hotels for personal trips as well. I took my cousin to a Marriott hotel for her first time and she was so amazed on the level of service provided, how cleanliness and nice the room was and just the energy that was given by everyone. The staff members are always so welcoming and asking if you need anything. They greet you every time you walk around the hotel. The breakfast is so good! I love it. Whenever I need something or assistance, a staff member is always there to assist without question. They even will call your room time to time to check in and make sure you are doing okay, its amazing! They love to talk with people and get to know their customers which I find awesome especially people like me who travel for business. Its good to get to know those frequent visitors. When you check out, they always as if everything was okay and if there is anything else they can do for you. I love Marriotts and would definitely recommend others to consider staying at the different Marriott hotels offered! You wont regret it, I promise!
Customer service is AMAZING. Front desk gave my son a toy during check in. Rooms are prefect for a short and long term stays with a full kitchen.

Place not clean. It was bad.. Really bad. At first I checked in and my family thought the room was left emptied for long and got filthy, I thought it was just the air without air-conditioning being turned on. Then after staying for 2 nights I got 10 bug bites and my daughter got many as well. The breakfast was simple. I told the manager but nothing she can do for me. Pretty disappointed. I might write to other forum so people are aware of the hotel situation.
Stayed in a suite with two baths. The room was very nice. The Kitchen fully equipped with pots, pans, and dishes.The hotel was under renovation so we were directed to the laundry facility at the Quality Inn. Nobody told us their laundry facility closed at a certain hour (and I’m not used to this as most hotels I’ve stayed at don’t have a limit but require a key to access). However, the front desk attendant was very nice in allowing us to continue with our late night laundry. Soap was $2, to wash was $2.50 for 30 min, and to dry was $2.50 for 45 minutes. A good time to tell us the laundry room was closed was when I went to ask for quarters at the front desk. However.The breakfast attendants were amazing and very friendly. We arrived a little later for breakfast and they were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was average. They had some cut fruit, eggs, bacon, toast, oatmeal, and coffee and juice options.Overall a pleasant stay.
The staff was amazing. Every morning, the staff attending the breakfast area was super accommodating and upbeat. We always had plenty of choices for breakfast. If we needed anything for the room, the front desk was quick to help out. Our room had an upstairs loft with a queen bed, another room with 2 queens, a living room with a pull out sofa. Plenty of room to spread out. A nice kitchen area with many essential items needed. There were a couple of gas grills on site, the pool was nice and some comfy couches near the gas outdoor fire pit. Our only problem was the laundry room, 3 washers, 3 dryers. Unfortunately 3 of them were out of service when we were there.
Check in was quick and friendly. They confirm whether I wanted a second floor or ground floor room. After handing in the key, they provided a little card detailing the basic breakfast and happy hour times.The room has the standard full kitchen, full bathroom with the sink outside, King bed, couch, desk and TV that swivels towards the bed. You have the basic comforts of home here.Definitely a good place to stay for a work trip or vacation.
We had a fantastic stay and the accommodation in a family suite was perfect for us with two teenagers.You will definitely need a car to get to places but the freeway is nearby and we didnt have any issues with noise when we stayed for 10 days.The staff were excellent. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good, with many choices available.
This was the best Residence Inn Ive ever stayed at. The rooms are exceptional, up to date and clean. The mixer had great drinks and snacks. My family really enjoyed the queso. This was a great perk. The breakfast was also very good and there is plenty of space in the dining area. The staff was extra helpful and friendly. if you are going to Disneyland or any of the beaches nearby definitely stay at this hotel!
Pretty mediocre Motel. It was difficult to open the front door, the bathroom door doesnt shut and the track lights flickered on and off. You could barely get in the bathroom as the door was so close to the toilet. The bed was a bit bouncy. The housekeeper left the cart right outside our door so we had to squeeze out with our luggage. The location is good too walk to the Bruery, but otherwise we will try the Quality Inn next time.
This hotel was great. The facilities are perfect and the room was the best. We had a 2 level room which allowed my son and I to have separate space. We had everything we needed in kitchen. Hotel really works for families or anyone who wants a nice spacious room. My only comment would be that it would be nice if there were some outdoor seating areas around property instead of just at pool.
This location was a bit of a surprise in comparison to other Residence Inn. Its a bit older and looks like an apartment complex converted into a hotel. There is so much to do locally so look into groupon to get lots of great ideas. Overall despite a hiccup in one of our rooms deadbolt malfunctioning too late into the night, the hotel did refund the parking fee. The staff was wonderful and so was the breakfast. Overall for the location was a great value for the money spent. The bed was amazing, slept like a dream.
They have a pretty good breakfast in the morning and they did let me park my RV on their property at 7$ extra a space which is not that bad
This was our second time staying at this particular location. The first was in October 2018 for 10 days, the second (this time) in August 2019 for 12 days. Obviously we liked the place well enough to come back! The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, and its always great to have access to a fridge. Conveniently located right next to SR-57 its easy to get anywhere quickly, but the rooms are soundproofed well enough that the freeway noise is negligible. The hotel has great wifi, solid service and good amenities. We took advantage of their free breakfast most mornings (tasty, and enough of a spread to not get boring, plus the staff is quick to refresh anything running low and very friendly) and used the pool. The layout of the hotel means you dont hear much if anything from your neighbors, and while parking got a little hairy one or two nights since theres no assigned spaces, even parking halfway across the property is only a one-minute walk to your room.Our room (a king) was plenty comfortable. I have health issues that require me to prepare a lot of my own food and having a full refrigerator, freezer, stovetop, oven and microwave make cooking easy, although I did learn to bring my own knife as the provided ones wouldnt cut a warm stick of butter! The bathroom is plenty functional, and while the bed is VERY firm its still comfortable. They provide a few starter amenities (sponge, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc) but we ended up buying most of our own stuff just for our own comfort. The only issue of note is an odd one: housekeeping. We prefer to not have housekeeping come every day, but would rather have our towels refreshed and trash taken out just once during the trip. Both stays at this hotel we waived room service all but one day, and confirmed the morning before that housekeeping would come by when we were out. Both times the front desk assured us that our room was listed for cleaning. Yet both last stay and this one we came back to the same pile of towels and overflowing trash cans. The front desk was very apologetic and sent maintenance to clean things up immediately, but it is very frustrating to schedule cleanup when we knew wed be out, yet have our room skipped! I guess be wary if you too wanted to only have housekeeping specific day(s). Overall we would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to others. With excellent rooms, amenities and staff, this place is worth a stay.
This was our second stay at this location and we decided to come back because almost everything about the property is perfect for what we need. The rooms are spacious and clean, the employees are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included with our stay is incredible when compared to continental breakfasts from most other hotels. During our stay my 15-year old son managed to break the TV in one of the bedrooms. The staff was more concerned with getting us a replacement TV than the damaged he caused. We will definitely be back next time were in Orange County. Highly recommended.
The hotel was perfect for our stay. The family suite provided enough room for 6 adults and we still had plenty of room to spread out. The drive to Disneyland was easy and about a 7-10 min drive. Plenty of stores and food restaurants in the area. The location of the hotel was great, the area was not busy and we felt safe. The t.v had all the apps we use and was easy to log in and out of our accounts. We always enjoy staying at Marriott properties wherever we go.
Family suite is clean, spacious & up to date. Quite inside unit even though we were next to freeway. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is average but served its purpose. The gym is very minimal and could use a few more equipment or a universal piece. Housekeeping did miss our unit one day when we returned at 3pm the room was not made up but they were in the area so we just asked for towels and soaps because we had to get ready for our evening plans. The neighborhood around the hotel is mainly industrial so not much to do but about 5 miles away there is a great shopping mall and restaurants. Overall it was a good stay.
I loved everything about this motel, except that the hotel lobby did not provide coffee after hours. The rooms were clean and well designed. The beds were very comfortable. My room had a full kitchen that I found very convenient when I needed to prepare some meals at home. The staff was courteous and efficient. I very much enjoyed the complete full, hot breakfast every morning. In addition to eggs and meats, the hotel offered healthy alternatives including yogurt and fruit. The waffles were very good too. I felt safe on the grounds. The pool was immaculately maintained.
Their room was not updated though, it seemed they were renovating it while we were there hopefully, their bedding was old, they had barely any supplies compared to other resident inns, also they did not tell us all two stories were up a flight of stairs, my mother was disabled and she had to climb those stairs, it would have been nice for a heads up, and construction blocked the handicap parking please in the future, when you are doing remodeling block regular parkings not the handicap they need those. I did appreciate the fact they gave breakfast bags in the morning, I dont eat pork though and they didnt have many vegan/vegetarian options like they usually do even just like potatoes would have been great. Also if youre someone like me who cared about air conditioning it was sort of off, it was either too cold or too hot in the place. I didnt check in, but I came with family and the front desk would not allow us to have rooms side by side, or even close to eachother. Also it seems they are in the middle of no where but they are close to food, just didnt know that until as left usually the hotel tells you when you check in what you are near. I suppose we can Google for ourselves too anyways, probably wouldnt come back here again but it was interesting.
With all the thumpings and the loud noises constantly on the ceiling, we couldnt get any sleep until after 4 AM when the party above our room was over. Front desk staff told us that it was a church group!..Your establishment should give priority to all those guests who simply want to stay there to rest and sleep after a long drive!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel! The room was spacious, quiet, and clean. The staff was great and were even given a goodie bag of cookies at check in. There was actually real shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (Paul Mitchell I believe) in the shower, which was a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast was yummy, and the kitchen staff were great with my young kids. We will definitely be back!
The purpose for our stay was to visit Disneyland & Universal Studios. We normally stay closer to Disneyland but this trip included our 2 dogs (100lb large breed mix & 10lb Maltese/Shih Tzu) so we needed a hotel that would accommodate them. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We were lucky enough to be able to check-in early. The room was really clean and super spacious. Also, the rooms are quiet and well insulated. Our dogs barked a couple times and when we apologized to our neighbor, they said they didnt hear a thing. The full kitchen was very convenient and had everything you would need to make a meal. The breakfast was well stocked and offered everything from continental items to scrambled eggs, sausage and self-made waffles. I visit Disneyland several times a year and would definitely stay at this hotel again even without our pets.
Overall good service, especially the food service and housekeeping crew. Front desk mostly friendly except one who was a little terse when I requested room cleanup one day. There was no telephone in the room 1311. We had to use the ironing board for a table in the bathroom. It would be nice if there was a table in there to put toiletries.
The people who work here really make this place. They are the nicest of anywhere. Maria and her associate who handle the breakfast and evening service are the best. The front desk folks are all wonderful and accommodating. Even one of the housekeeping staff went out of her way to offer to help me carry my suitcase up to the 2nd floor, since this is the old style of separate units that are more like condominiums and dont have elevators. There is not a lot of restaurant choices within walking distance, but if you have a car it is an easy drive a few miles away to Pollys Pies, a classic, or many other places. It is a fairly quiet location as long as you get a unit nearer the front not too close to the freeway.
Our room smelled awful. The worst part was the people upstairs were running, walking, slamming, dropping all day and night but front desk could not accommodate us with another room. It was absolutely unbearable. My son also got a spider bite in the bed. He killed the spider on the spot, it obviously left a huge welt. I checked out early but let them know my son would be there until 10:00 am. (12:00 checkout) yet the maid was knocking on the door and the front desk calling by 7:00 am. Do not stay here!
This property was a perfect fit for our family. The suite was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the full kitchen made meal preps so convenient. The staff was kind and helpful when we needed assistance, and they made us feel like family. This property is located within a short driving distance from everything we needed, which made our lives so much easier. I’m so happy we booked here and I’m looking forward to rebooking our next trip here in the future.
I can’t be complimentary enough of the staff, the property and the amenities it is what you expect from a Residence Inn. I have stayed at the Marriott up the freeway at the university but decided to try here because the Marriott had not opened all their facilities.It’s the older style RI but clean and quiet. My room faced the freeway but never heard it from inside my room. Miss Ha accommodated me on arrival as my first room had a pet smell and I was sneezing within 10 minutes - allergies. The breakfast buffet is functioning as well as all the other amenities. Great two day stay for work.Im coming back next month for sure
We got here because our insurance placed us here while our house was being treated for mold. It was difficult time for the family especially with a toddler and a set of twins less than 2 months old. But staff here has been amazing the moment we arrived. We felt like they were extended family. We got to know their names and they got to know us. Thats in addition to the great breakfast here. They got their waffle batter ratio down perfectly. They had ice coffee in the mornings. Gave ice cream bars in the afternoon by the pool and had food Monday-Wednesdays during dinner time with free drinks. Their generosity and hospitality was above approach. Even though we live 10 minutes away from here, we would stay here again!
We love this place so much, our kids dont want to leave! You are provided with everything you need in the kitchen and all appliances work perfectly. Ac and heater worked well. Beds are super comfortable and room service is great! Furniture, decor, and appliances look very modern and relaxing. Their complimentary breakfast is decent and prices are resonable. This is our second year here, both with great experiences and we will be returning again the next. I highly recomend this place if you want to feel relaxed and at home.
This Marriott location may not be the what the 4 and 5-star elitists demand from their stays, but it has tremendous value. For a very reasonable rate, you can get a multi-level room, replete with a loft area upstairs that has its own bed and bathroom, two queens and bath downstairs, a full kitchen, and pull-out bed/couch in the adjacent living space. Dont be dismayed by the industrial vibe after exiting Orangethorpe off the 57 Freeway. What youll find is more bang for the buck, as well as extra money left over to enjoy whatever Southern Cal attractions and venues await. It should be noted that the staff are great, too, especially those who assist with the complimentary breakfasts.
We stayed at this property for a variety of reasons. Our family was going to Disneyland, Universal Studios and attending my doctoral graduation at the University of Southern California for a week. The property is off the beaten path and relatively far away from attractions, about 30+ min drive from Disney, 1.5+ hour drive from Universal Studios and far from USC. That said, we needed a large enough spot for our family of 7. Id recommend this property for a family wanting to spread out, there is a pool (it was too chilly for us to swim), laundry facility and a fitness center (which we didnt use). They offer breakfast that is a pretty nice spread for a hotel, lots of hot items to choose from and it would change daily. The only downside we experienced was one of the staff, her name was Terri (sp?), who provides breakfast service was very rude to us and Im not sure why. We are a large group so perhaps that is the reason but she even went so far as to turn off the juice when we were present and even told me so herself, grudgingly switching the juice back on when asked. I didnt report this to the management and probably should have. She honestly made every breakfast experience very stressful for my family. There are many other examples that could be shared regarding negative interactions with her. The remaining breakfast staff were WONDERFUL, helpful, kind and gracious. The maid service was excellent and the front desk staff were helpful. Our only negative experience was the one staff member during breakfast. Overall this was a nice place to stay and I would consider another visit if the issues with Terri were addressed and resolved prior to our stay. All in all it was very nice to have enough space for our family and parking was free.
Great stay, rooms were clean and Service was great. Only thing was I didnt know the breakfast hours, so we had just missed it on arrival at 10AM.
We had such a lovely experience. When we checked in, we asked for an upgrade and were given one. Eduardo also gave us a bottle of wine since we just reached Platinum status.Our suite was absolutely amazing. I had wanted my staycation to be restful and comfortable, which it was. The suite was so comfortable and had everything we needed for a much needed relaxing time.Highly recommend.
This hotel is set up like an apartment complex. The pool is not central it is at the front of the complex so most rooms are far away from it and the breakfast room. If you come back to the hotel late at night the parking is difficult to find. The studio room we had was very spacious and the full size fridge with ice maker was great to have. We also used the microwave but we didnt use the full size stove and oven. When you leave for the day call and ask to have your room serviced. We didnt do that one of the days we stayed and came back to our room not cleaned up. Also bring lotion they provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap but no lotion. It was a decent place to stay and less expensive than other Marriott properties in the area.
Stopped to rest for an event in the area. Air conditioning was the worse. Nearly 5 hrs after check in room stayed above 70 and not cooling to the set temperature of 64. Woke up in sweat and had a horrible next day. Breakfast staff are great. Front desk staff ok but could be more inviting and welcoming for the traveling elite members.
Great little place to camp out when needed. Staff is helpful, rooms are great. It will be nicer when they can get back to the full breakfast. They are limited, like everyone else, at this point.
Great accommodations for a larger family. We did not want to book two rooms and we needed a full kitchen. Place was clean, staff was friendly and we will be back. It was a plus to be located away from the downtown Disney area where a lot of people will typically stay, thus is was nice and quite. =)
This residence inn is outdated. Also my mother is handicapped and we werent told ahead of time that the two story sweet would be upstairs, and she had to walk up two flights of stairs. Also there was construction right now as of 6/20/2021 and it takes up the handicap parking which is unfortunate and there was only two of them, I understand needing space for whatever work you are doing but the elderly and those in need shouldnt suffer. The plus though, they do provide basic breakfast now, not many options for those who are vegan or eat healthy they are to go items. And the parking was 7 dollars thats pretty affordable. It is close to restaurants and a store but it would have been nice for the hotel to give us that information, ahead of time, on a paper like most do. We thought we were in the middle of nowhere because we came from another way but as we left we saw places. Its not far from Disneyland either so thats good as well. The blankets were old, and the carpet was dirty, they didnt provide everything for the kitchen but basic things. The upstairs downstairs sweets just are not handicap friendly even the downstairs part is upstairs and the tables are like barstools and tall. Also they refused to place our family together which was weird because they seemed to have the space to do so. Regardless, for the price it isnt worth it, maybe when its updated it would be though. Also the way the buildings are is not really safe for children 5 and under the stars in the place are steep and they could easily fall over, or someone who is clumsy easily could with luggage so be careful 💕
First time staying here with family and it was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do have free breakfast every day and it was good. The staff was courteous and asked if need anything else to eat. We would definitely be back if coming to LA. Definitely recommend this place for stay. The rooms are clean.This hotel has a good kitchen if you want to cook while staying which is a plus to save some money during the trip.
Overall, I liked the hotel. Its very clean and modern and the servicing staff really takes care of attention to detail. On the downside, however, I was dissapointed at how easily the sound seemed to travel between rooms. Also, I think the rooms are priced a bit too high for the level of quality you can find elsewhere. Overall though, its a good place to stay.
Our family of 8 loves Residence Inn, but booking a room to house us all and then arriving only to find out there were none of those rooms available was frustrating. We were offered 2 rooms instead, but that wasnt feasible with all of our younger children. No explanation was given and although I asked for a manager more than once, none was available and no one followed-up either. Overall, that was poorly handled and I was surprised, because it seemed out of character for Residence Inn service.In addition to that, the carpet in our room was FILTHY! I dont usually notice, but after our 1-year-old finished crawling on it for 15-20 minutes, his clothes were completely soiled. Really disgusting and easily remedied with regular thorough cleaning.The breakfast was pretty standard, but the seating area was really small and very cramped. It definitely wasnt made for people to hang out and chat in, and as people did, there was little room for others to find a place to sit.Im pretty easygoing, and traveling isnt a hassle or headache (once we finally all get out the door and on the road), and Ill admit that I feel a bit spoiled with Residence Inn. Weve had exceptional experience with most all of them that weve stayed at, but this one was an exception. Even a little bit of effort goes a long way, but there didnt seem to be even a little extended in the areas Ive mentioned. So, for that reason, Id recommend looking elsewhere for a more enjoyable stay.
Very comfortable room, I loved the full kitchen. The bed was great, and I was able to keep the room very cool. Friendly, helpful staff and a enjoyable complimentary breakfast. I would definitely stay there again. The only small negative is there a basketball court and I was right next to it. Had I been in my room in the early evenings I wouldnt have liked the noise. But next time Ill simply ask to not be near it.
This is the best place I have ever stayed at. The service was exceptional. The rooms were modernized and clean. The complimentary breakfast was similar to an all you can eat buffet and was absolutely delicious. Even the kitchen, where the breakfast was prepared was spotless. The pool had no debris or bugs floating in the water. The housekeeping was on point. The room also had a complimentary jar of hard candies similar to jolly ranchers in each room. I absolutely loved this place and found myself wanting to stay in the room more so than visiting Disneyland and other attractions. I will come here from now on!
Our room’s floors and carpets were filthy, had to wear slippers in order to keep your feet from getting dirty. The bed was so uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. I had to complain to the front desk about the people upstairs because their kids were running around all night and making a bunch of noise. I told the front desk that if this continued we would need to switch rooms, the response we received was that they would talk to those guests first before they would move us. needles to say the running and stomping continued and started up again at 7am the next morning so I don’t think the front desk ever said anything to these guests. Luckily those guests checked out. We stayed there 7 nights, however the impression was also that there was quite a bit of shady activity on that property, like a lot of partying and drug activity as we also got woken up around 2am by the guests that were partying next door.My daughter had stayed there for three weeks while she was in transition of moving into a new place. She had her service dog and was told that since she was a service dog there would not be a pet fee as she showed the front desk proof of this. This time around when we went to visit her and she stayed with us, she brought along her service dog as they state that Service dogs are welcome. Well, when I received my bill, they charged us $100 extra. I asked the front desk agent, Chris why they werw charging this fee he told that their policy does not accept service dogs without a fee. First off this is illegal and will place a complaint with the ADA. My daughters service dog was trained for a medical condition. When I spoke with the supervisor she was not empathic or helpful and insisted that we have to be charged this fee. I have disputed this charge with my credit card company. That showed inconsistency as to the employees not knowing what their doing. I asked the front desk Yuro for clean towels and more toilet paper, and she told me someone would deliver these things in 15 minutes. An hour went by and nothing. I had to go to the front desk to get these things. We have stayed at other hotels in the surrounding areas and brought my daughters dog and we have never been charged a pet fee. The overall experience was very disappointing as it appeared that the staff were not willing to go above and beyond. This property fails to meet the Marriott expectation and customer service. We will never again stay at this property as there aremuch better options that take customer service seriously. Oh and one more thing I purchased a small bottle of apple juice and was charged $10. What a rip off.
My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Fresh cut up fruits and make your own yogurt parfait was a pleasant surprise in addition to the typical RI breakfast choices. Rooms were updated but bathroom is outdated and needs work. Hotel is off the beaten bath so it was quiet and relaxing at night. Hotel is located in the middle of an industrial area. Heated outdoor pool. Feels like a resort when you walk around. Not much food options within walking distance, need to drive your car to get food.
Decent place to stay. Lots of room for a family. Would suggest a change or two...the bed in the loft would be perfect as a king vs. a queen. Room on main level would get very warm over night unless door is kept open. Good daily breakfast, EXCELLENT coffee, daily light housekeeping was great - most larger accommodations dont offer that without an extra charge. About a 10-15 minute drive to Disneyland. Overall very satisfied.
Overall a great experience. The room was clean and inviting. The staff was available for our 1am check in. The cleaning service organized the downstairs bedroom with my kids stuffed animals...really cute. My only complaint is the comfort of the upstairs bed. It was way too soft and noisy. I will def stay here again.
Chose to stay here for a quick business meeting. Room was clean and amenities were plenty. Blackout curtains were excellent. Love a room where the black out curtains actually keep out the sunlight. Ice make made plenty of ice and had enough dishes and silverware in room.
Our stay was awesome. The room was spacious and beautiful. We were provided every amenity needed for a comfortable stay except for firewood for the fireplace. I booked solely based on the fact that the suite had a fireplace but there wasnt access to firewood on the property. This caused an inconvenience as we had to leave off of the property to go and purchase firewood that should have been readily available on site.
I would highly recommend this hotel to any family headed down to any of the nearby theme parks. The hotel parking is reasonable at $5 per day. The FREE continental breakfast is amazing. The rooms are large and they have full kitchens, so you can grab groceries at a nearby grocery store and make some of your meals in your hotel room to help save food costs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool area was great and they also had a sport court for basketball/volleyball/badmitton! We will definitely stay here again.
It is disheartening that I have to write such a bad review on a Marriott hotel, but I strongly believe everyone needs to know for their own safety and wellbeing of the circumstances in which this hotel is running and the lack of cleanliness, especially during a pandemic. Let me just begin by saying that this hotel does not warrant a star at all. Upon our arrival on August 21st, 2020, I was greeted pleasantly by Yuri, the Supervisor, who stated there was a $300.00 deposit, which was never mentioned at the time of the reservations on top of paying the $250.00 per room at the time of check in. After Yuri checked us in, she handed me my parking pass and keys to the rooms (we reserved 2 suites). My friend and I went to each of our rooms and thought that would be in for the night as we were tired from all the driving we had done, coming from Arizona. However, that was not the case. Upon walking into my room, second level room #1421, the stench was horrific, and the condition of the hotel was unbelievably grotesque. My eyes began to water and swell becoming blood shot red. I am not sure what type of chemicals they are using to the mask the bad odor in the rooms, but it was awful, not only did it make me sick to my stomach but also physically sick. As I walked further into the room, there were visible stains on the carpet and couch. The line was drawn when I entered the restroom. First; the vanity was falling apart, the patch work they had done on it was beyond low standard, the bath tub was filthy with brown grime around the tub and on the floor, around the edges there were residual hairs from previous tenants and some sort of bug or animal droppings along with a yellow stain, not sure what this was if it was urine or chemicals? By this time my eyes were extremely red and watery. I left my room to check on my friend and see the condition of her room, # 621, which was no better. There were bugs literally coming out from the drain in the bathtub, there was a significant piece of wall missing which exposed the metal from. I called Yuri, supervisor at the front desk, to let her know the rooms were both unacceptable, making me ill and we would not be able to stay there. She tried accommodating us by setting us up in different rooms, which were no better. When I was taken to the alternate room, that too was stinky, the carpet had a huge stain along with the couch stains all over it, not to mention the wall had a streak of either poop or dried up blood, not sure to be honest and the bath tub again was brown. To say the least, I went back to Yuri and explained to her that we cannot stay the night at the Residence Inn as it is not being cleaned or cared for properly and it should be more than ever due to the current situation we are all in which is Covid-19 pandemic. By the way, my funds of $1100.00 were not released by them until Wednesday morning-August 26th, they held onto them since Friday August 21st. It is heart breaking to experience the negligence of this property’s leadership, quality, maintenance and cleaning teams. I myself would be embarrassed if I put someone up in my home in those awful conditions, I am pretty sure no one that works at this property would sleep an entire night in one of those rooms, not sure how they expect their guests to do so. I will be uploading pictures so that you get an idea of what the bathroom looked like.
Check-in was okay. I think when booking through the app it should have a section where you can add someone to your reservation for check-in purposes. The room key was a little hassle because sometimes we would have to play around with it to get the door open. The door handle was very bad going in and coming out which needs a major fix. The room itself was clean and okay. I just think extra trash bags should be more noticeable and not at the bottom of the trash bin. Overall my stay was fair.
I have to give this place two stars due to just the location of this hotel. Its practically a food desert if you dont want to stray too far from the hotel. You pretty much have a choice of limited fast food options or going to the grocery store and buying materials to make meals yourself which is what I opted for. Plus its right next to the freeway so you can hear all the traffic, I also had the added bonus of getting a room next to the pool and basketball/tennis court which allowed me to be woken up every morning by children screaming thanks to the paper thin glass windows.Things were not all bad though, I stayed in one of the larger suites (room 1024) which had its own kitchen, two bathrooms, and essentially two rooms with a living space. Basically it was like a small condo which wasnt bad at all. What killed this for me was that Im almost positive that this room was haunted. If everyone was downstairs in one room or in the living room, you could hear what sounded like footsteps coming from the second room/loft area upstairs. This was odd as this hotel has no other rooms above the second story suites. Im going to chalk this next one up to the thin windows but it was possible to hear what sounded like a middle aged woman talking briskly from upstairs as well regardless if someone was up there or not, very unsettling. To top this off, lights in the room that werent attached to the motion censored lights would turn on and turn off randomly, such as the lamps and bathroom lights occasionally.Overall I probably would not stay here again in this lifetime. (P.S. I would DEFINITELY not stay here if you own an electric car. Theres no adequate charging stations for at least 4 miles from the hotel which is just ridiculous, plus theres no wall charger at the hotel either.)
Titanium Elite member, didn’t allow upgrade AND had me and my family & pets waiting in our car because “we don’t have early check in for your room”? First guy said my room was being cleaned and should be ready in 30 minutes to an hour, (12 noon per their check in times listed) second lady was rude and told me we don’t get an early check in and have to wait till 4pm!! Mind you, three adults and 4 pets waiting in their parking lot!!! This is the worst stay I’ve ever had! Unprofessional, horrible customer service and poor advertising on their website!! Don’t stay here if you’re a titanium member!! They don’t care to assist you at all!!
The Check-in process was seamless, the staff was friendly, smiled, greeted us, made eye contact, made us feel special. The front desk supervisor was knowledgeable about the hotel and explained the property as we checked in. The front desk employee was also helpful and talkative, Friendly! :) They made a connection with us.... The front desk staff was friendly as well through the stay including the breakfast staff which are the employees we made contact with. Overall wonderful experience and we loved our room with the fire place on Valentines Day! Thank you
This is an older property but well maintained and the service is always good. Love the loft rooms for adults that need their privacy and their own bathroom. The TV is difficult to navigate but I think it may be Dish, which is very slow.
Such a great place to stay in everyway! Rooms spread out like condos instead of hotel rooms, clean A+, great kitchen suites, Quality BBQs, Great breakfast daily and social hour M-W with Stella on tap and snacks that are really meals in themselves! Seriously?!! Wonderfulness on that! The complete staff is kind and helpful in everyway. Interenet is speedy fast and dependable. Great freeway location, a hop, skip and a jump to anywhere So.Cal. What a peaceful place to be when it cant be in your own home!
Very clean, amazing staff service, and suite makes you feel at home. Hotel has an updated look and all utilities needed to cook in kitchen. Have no complaints for hotel. Great location, a must stay just because or for business if in area.
I really loved the experience, the rooms are amazing. Kitchen/living/bedroom and bathroom. Really pretty. Although the door to enter was quite difficult to enter I still liked it.There is a swimming pool which I loved going at 9 of the night to relax. Its extremely cold when you get out but still worth it.
Loved the accommodations with large suites complete with kitchen, dining and living areas. However, with the exception of the inclusion of a full breakfast, there was no food or bar service available here. No way, without a car, to get around and get supplies. My room, although handicapped accessible was difficult to find and the path to it hard to navigate in the dark. staff was too limited to really assist me. I rate it 4 stars for the great breakfasts and lovely room but it would get one or two stars for accessibility and staff assistance. Also, I did not discover till a month after the visit that my credit card had been charged twice for the room when a company had already booked the accommodation for me. This took a couple of weeks to clear up.
If you like being immediately insulted by staff go to this hotel where they require you to sign a paper regarding your behavior during your time there. Regardless that we are in our late 70’s, we had to say we’d “behave” ourselves. And despite the fact that we have been loyal purchasers of Marriott products for years - we were still required to sign this.
I was a guest at this location for a week and was very pleased with my stay, from check in to check out. The property and room are lovely, the staff was very kind- especially Maria! She was the sweetest person and made sure breakfast was on point every morning! As busy as each day was, she was sure to interact with guests, keep the food stocked and all with a smile. This is exactly why I always choose Marriott.
Floors creaked a bit, bathroom was tight, workout room is tiny as heck. Otherwise everything else was amazing. Breakfast was great coffee is straight up liquid gold. Everything works really well in the rooms. Pool is a good temp.
First impressions really are important for the hotel industry. A persons check in experience will really predict their overall experience throughout their stay at a hotel. I had made 2 separate reservations. I was upgraded for the 1st night that I had there and they were more than happy to keep me in the same room for the duration of my stay which was amazing!
This property is conveniently located and the family suites are well configured for families. However, the property is old, tired, and maintenance is an issue. The floor in the bathroom was sagging from damage to the subfloor and felt like it might fail at any moment. The beds were old and poor quality.
If you are looking for a clean and spacious hotel room with a full kitchen, then this is the place to stay. It is close to the freeway for easy travel, and surprisingly quiet. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a pool but no hottub, and a BBQ area with a firepit, lots of tables and chairs and umbrellas around the pool to relax. No restaurant at the hotel, however the continental breakfast is varied daily and during the week the evening social provides light snacks and appetizers.
We like staying here. We know what to expect each time, and it is convenient to spend time with our kids. I wish there was a jacuzzi, though. And there is never enough seating during breakfast, to accommodate the guests. We always have to take breakfast back to the room. But we always enjoy our stay here, and will be back again soon.
They have amazing attention to all details. From the moment you walk into their room we knew we were coming back - then we got a call from the front desk to ask if our check in and room was acceptable. From the very begining you know they care about your experience in many not so small ways. To say the least after a number of hotels that were more expensive but with far fewer ammenities it really feels like we were well taken care of here. **The kitchen is fully ready to go including a dishwasher and home size refridgerator, dishes, silverware, etc.**There is an order slip in your room for THEM to do a local grocery run - they then add the groceries to your check out invoice.**The bed was very comfortable even though we left a premium memory foam mattress at home. **The lighting is great and there are small led lights for bedside reading as well as track led lights on the ceiling for a nice touch.**Our bathroom was very well stocked to the point we were glad to have left the shampoo at home - TeaTree body wash as well as cond & shampoo was a nice touch.Trust me this is hands down the best place in at least a 5 mile radius at least. Our last stay somewhere else had an auto salvage yard next door but many of the great reviews left that out or the screaming kids running circles on every level. In closing - we have no reason to look elsewhere whenever we come to visit family.*** if this review has helped please give me a thumbs up*** Enjoy :-)*****2021 update after many stays here*********Sadly the property has been let get run down. Also there is a tent camp between the freeway and hotel that makes this an unsafe location due to the common drug use and theives in these encampments.I am so sorry to see a business degraded to the point they can no longer earn my future business. The damages to rooms have remained when staying in the same room a year later - no change the same damages still remain..... chipping paint around door entry, cracked lamp shades, & other broken items in the room that are easily repaired or replaced but have not been paid attention to. Details matter and since the managment is unable to maintain a high standard we will now reluctantly find another location.
These are very unique. They are like small condos with upgrade I had an upstairs bedroom and bath and downstairs had 2 queen beds and bath kitchen really nice so was full size stainless steel stoveUnit smell clean and being on 2nd phone allow us to keep window open a small opening letting in cool air. We would of stay longer but was out of our budget..
Me and my family stayed in a Family Suite/ Loft upstairs unit. There was a lot of space, 3 Queen size beds, 1 spacious Sofa bed, 3 T.Vs, Kitchen with a dining table. Felt right at home. We utilized the complimentary breakfast every morning. Excellent Staff, very kind. Weather was great. We utilized the Pool, and outdoor fire pit. They have a wash house on site. The gym has a treadmill/ elliptical machine. Great Area, close to Dining. Close to Disneyland 6.9mi. away.
Great hotel! Stayed here while visiting our Dad,for the week. Front desk staff was VERY friendly! Room spotless, lovely little kitchen, bathroom has Tea Tree shampoo/conditioner & body wash. They will do your grocery shopping,if needed..a huge plus! Even received a phone call from front desk, asking how our check in was. We will be staying here again,in the future! Highly recommended!
Having a full kitchen with supplies is a great benefit when spending a few days visiting Disneyland or the convention center (or the stadium). The hotel is not a long drive away and if you are anticipating parking in one of the lots anyway, its worth the savings on the hotel rate and parking rate at this Anaheim Residence Inn. I like that its a quiet location and the condo-style units allow for easy loading and unloading of luggage. Front desk is helpful. Bed is very comfortable. Knowing there is a laundry room available if needed is reassuring. The free breakfast is great if you are in a hurry. Overall one of the best values for my money Ive found in the area.
We selected Residence Inn after having an exceptional experience at one in Orlando Florida (the one near Universal). This was nowhere near as good. They gave us the wrong kind of room, despite having confirmed the reservation twice. They did not prepare the sofa bed with any bedding for my daughter, so we had to wait a long time for them to bring it all and then the mattress was of such poor quality that my daughter said she would rather sleep on the floor. The furnishings were of really poor quality, like IKEAs second-cousin-twice-removed, furnished the place. The temperature varied throughout the suite from cool to roasting hot. we had to sleep with the bedroom door open so we wouldnt roast alive in the downstairs bedroom. The location is in the middle of nowhere and confusing to find and return to. It is not as close to Disney as they would suggest. However. I felt that the staff was friendly and the free breakfast was quite convenient and better than expected. I probably would never stay here again, but I wont let it affect my impression of Residence Inn overall.
The room was clean, the staff courteous, the location convenient, freeway noise was present but tolerable in our room, however, people in adjacent room SMOKED outside our room (on a non-smoking property). It must be a regular occurrence because our room smelled like cigarettes the entire stay. Not happy we used that many points to have to air the room and our belongings every day.
Hotel room was very nice. Had the selection of pillows from hard to soft. Bed was very comfortable, was actually sleeping so well that I woke up before the alarm went off. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have appetizers, beer, wine, soda and water in a welcome like gathering in the main lobby.
Hotel was a great place to stay - very relaxing, clean, well maintained. The King bed was very comfortable, but the mattress on the sofa bed was horrible. Breakfast area was large, food decent. Did not visit the fitness room or pool, although the pool always looked very inviting. I would definitely stay again.
A clean, cozy and comfortable stay.They have a well prepared and relatively full and eclectic breakfast selection +(Maria, the breakfast operator was incredibly friendly and helpful and on top of her game)They have a pool ++(Theres also a gas fire pit that can be turned on at your desire.)++They have a tennis, volleyball and basketball court +++A designated smoking area.And at least two grills that are at the disposal of the guests. ++We cooked some delicious steaks and asparagus and enjoyed the night by the pool.In my experience, I found that the staff was far more helpful, friendly and accommodating than the lobby receptionists.Often times they seemed too busy or stressed to be asked of much.Overall however, I was pretty pleased with the stay and would return again if the nightly rate was a little lower.Hope this review was helpful and informational.
My stay at the residence inn Anaheim/Fullerton was a pleasant one. The day started with the wonderful front desk staff who was very friendly and accommodating. They usually have a get together every evenings on Mon-Wednesday and even though I came in a bit late,I still had drinks. The rooms are very neat and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was great. Overall it was great and I will definitely be bck. It was also great value for the price.
I reserved a room with a king bed 2 weeks in advance. When I showed up they said they were sold out/completely booked and gave me a handicapped room with a queen bed. To make up for it they waived the parking charge ($7/day, I stayed 1 night). This was very inadequate, and I am not satisfied with this situation. Also the room stunk like spoiled cleaning products when the air conditioning came on, so it was happening all night and it woke me up in the middle of the night.
The staff were kind and helpful with directions and local grocery stores to shop at. I liked the free hot chocolate and available groceries at the front desk. The room was spotless and had all amenities; I did not have to ask for anything for my room. We were able to park in the same spot all week which was right by our room. I loved the internet connection, and the desk to eat meals at and sit and put on my makeup. I watched the Macys Thanksgiving Parade on Thursday morning.The free breakfast and dinner saved us money and time. One dinner I ate twice and met other guest who were nice.
The hotel staff is very friendly, but housekeeping sucks. They need to re-evaluate their housekeeping staff in the morning. There was hair still in the Tube, Sink and Toilet that was not cleaned. The same stained bed sheet was on the bed which was how I knew they didnt change the bed after I slept in it. They didnt sweep or clean the floors well, but other than that everything else was smooth sailing.
This hotel is a hidden gem. I appreciated being able to check in ahead of time. It was nice to ask for extra towels AND find them waiting for us upon arrival! Breakfast is generous. Room was very clean. All the staff were excellent.
My family and I stayed in the penthouse suite. We had an excellent time overall. The room was clean and spacious. It is very family friendly with the exception of it may not be suitable for walking infants/toddlers as there are stairs in the room.
Rooms were not exceptionally clean and did not smell great. Floors are thin...I could hear the upstairs guess more-so than the adjacent highway traffic. There were actually earplugs in the room for guest use...I figured they were there for the traffic. Broken shower curtain rod, trim of lamps dangling, loud refrigerator compressor in room, filthy fitness equipment, squeaky bed, flat pillows. My experience here was not consistent with a Marriott.
Rooms are very comfortable, parking is convenient.Only thing I want too happy about was the service. We got in around 330pm, but were told that our room wouldnt be ready until 4pm when it was check in time. Waited in the lobby with our newborn. Seeing as how the lobby was small and we were the only ones there, I thought we would have gotten notified when the room was actually ready. But we waited until 10 minutes past, asked the front desk, who checked the computers again and said it was ready.
Great customer service and very clean! My only semi-complaint would be that their gym wasnt quite as equipped as most other hotels. But where theres a will, theres a way!! 💪 Will definitely be returning!
Hotel is quiet, staffs are attentive, room is dated but comfortable, and hotel is currently under renovation. If youre visit is long term and need to use the laundry facilities, that too is being renovated; however, arrangements have been made and you can use the facilities at the hotel across the parking lot. Overall, the hotel is centrally located, and is close to everything you may need during your stay. Because of the inns locately, we would stay there again when visiting Orange County....we live in Arizona.
Other than the location (industrial..no walking to restaurants...etc) I rate this hotel 9 out of 10 (Not 10 because it doesnt have a hot-tub). Very friendly staff, roomy, comfy digs, nice pool..though not heated it seems, and nice landscaping. The big perks of full breakfast options and the Mon-Wed night mixers with snacks and drinks just hit the spot for wary travelers..and a very kid-friendly set-up..and free parking!Will definetly stay here in the future!
I stay here because it’s close to work and I like the apt complex set up and the convenience of having a kitchen. Some of the rooms need updating.. mostly small stuff, but it’s always clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating
I often stay at this location during home remodeling. Units have been updated with new carpet, paint, décor and furnishings. Baths are in good shape, but not completely updated. Units are very clean and well stocked with supplies- only two items not supplied are dish soap and basket filters, but I now know to bring from home. There is some noise if staying on first floor from upstairs units as is the case in most two story locations, but hasnt bothered me so far and Ive stayed many times for up to a week. Also, even though located near freeway, Ive never heard traffic noise in units. Located in a corporate setting.
This is an nice property not to far from Disneyland about a short 15 minuit drive. My family of five and I enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again should the opportunity present itself again. The staff is very attentive and helpful. We all enjoyed the free wifi and great breakfasts during our three day stay.
The rooms were really nice and huge. Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was really good and they even have a waffle maker. Front desk staff need to smile more. But overall, it was a nice stay.
Way cool place to stay. Who doesnt want to have their own townhome while vacationing to Disneyland. Having your own kitchen its priceless. The location is a little off and at first we were wondering about the area. But no problems at all. Felt safe and comfortable
Highly recommend. For families have large 2-bedroom suites with upper deck. Very nice with full kitchens and living space. Plenty parking and walking distance to fast food or shopping. Friendly, helpful staff.
Had a bad experience staying here. First off, when we got into town, I did an early check-in through the app the day before. So I called the hotel the day of as we were driving into town. Spoke to a lady and told her we were coming in by 11am. I told her that I checked in on the app and she told me that there should be rooms available to check in. When we got there, the lady at the front desk had told me that it was too early to check in and that they would call us when the room is ready. Told us there were no rooms available. So we left to kill some time. Got a call around 1:30 pm and said room was ready and we got there by 2pm. Everything went well with the check in, we were in room 814. Now at night time it was a different story. The people upstairs of us for some reason were having a party. I didn’t think they would be up all night but I had a hard time sleeping as all I heard were their footsteps and doors closing and slamming. I didn’t bother to call since I thought they would be leaving their rooms to go out. It was hard since I didn’t get any sleep and we had to wake up the next day super early. Other than that, the hotel is pretty well kept and maintained. Just don’t know if we would stay at this Residence Inn again.
Comfortable beds, friendly staff. You can hear he freeway noise but it isn’t too bad. The hotel is well maintained. The pool is heated to a nice temperature and is a nice size. One downer is the video quality on the tv. The channel selection is like basic cable with one HBO.There aren’t any restaurants in walking distance but The Bruery is a short walk.I would stay here again.
Stayed in room 5214 very big room. It was a very nice room. It had an interesting smell upon checking in but the smell dissipated quickly after opening windows and never came back. Front desk staff was nice and the continental breakfast was on par with other hotels. Room was clean. Overall a good experience!
The staff was really pleasant and the room was nice. It was strange that there was no trash can in the bathroom area - I ended up moving the one that was stored under the sink in the kitchen area. There were also no tissues in the room which I thought was standard for all hotels to offer. The last reason for only giving 4 out of 5 stars is that we kept having issues with not being able to get into our room. Our keys were not demagnified since that was my first assumption and the front desk assured me they were still active. Perhaps maintenance needs to check all the batteries in the door locks. These were literally just minor annoyances though and despite them I would stay here again if we were coming back to the area.
Its our first night staying at this place. Check-in was a breeze. The front desk person was polite, professional, and knowledge able of the area along with suggestive places to eat, a place to unwind at the end of the hard week... I give her 5 stars. And as for our giant, well equipped, and white glove cleaned. Well I will let you know more in a couple days. Everyone have a blessed evening.
We stayed at the Residence Inn for a week as we were just moving into the area. We were extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the facilities, and the professionalism of the staff. You get more than you pay for. We used the pool, ate all breakfasts, and even had a complimentary taco dinner on one of the nights with free wine and beer. This is a well run hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there!
Stayed here for a Disney land trip between Christmas & New Years. We try to stay at Marriotts when we travel because they are always CLEAN!! This was no exception. Along with that the staff was fabulous, engaging & pleasant. We had the 2 story family suite, plenty of room for us & 4 teen, preteen kids. We were a little concerned about the freeway being so close but with the doors & windows closed we didnt even hear it. Drive to Disney was about 15 minutes. (At most) Cant comment on any of the facilities, we didnt use them.
Very nice Residence Inn...only issue I had was having to lug my suitcase up stairs with a bum knee...totally my fault. This place is more like a condo complex than a hotel. If you plan on staying more than a couple of nights, it makes you feel like home rather than a hotel. There are a couple of grocery stores with 2 miles so the setup is great.
Stayed 5 days and then 5 days again and no one ever came to clean the room. Not even to get trash or give us clean towels.
Extremely friendly staff who try to make your stay great. A decent hot breakfast offering, and with a full stove and oven, with full sized fridge in the room, it is great for not having to eat out every meal. No hot tub in the pool area, but a cozy fire pit. Bring fire logs for the fireplace in your room!
We came all the way from Maine on a family trip to California. This place is amazing! Clean, awesome breakfast, awesome staff. The woman working in the morning with food (I think her name is Maria) is amazing! Excellent worker, she’s super nice and goes above and beyond to help the guests. I work in a hotel and I know how hard it could get sometimes but every employee here has a smile on their face which is nice to see in the morning on our family vacation. :)
Definitely consider this hotel if you are looking to stay in the Anaheim area, despite it being in the middle of an office park. It is admittedly a little out of the way from the major attractions like the Anaheim Convention Center or Disneyland, but it has convenient freeway access to get you anywhere in minutes. The service cant be beat here, Every employee I encountered was friendly and helpful during the entire course of my multi-night stay. Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. The free hot breakfast is a nice perk in the mornings. Definitely will stay here again next time Im in the area!
I spent four nights at this hotel and it was a very good experience. The room was clean and well stocked and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast offered something for everybody and, even though it was packed each morning, the staff did their best to keep up with the hot dishes.
Hello, I was just staying at your hotel and was very dissatisfied. I was told the room smelt like “cigarettes” but I don’t even smoke! N was told my second party probably smoked but it was just me late at night coming from work. The white towel had black mascara on it, n was told it was an “ashes stain”. Falsely accused, I am very disappointed in how I was treated. Asked for the employees to at least take off their masks to properly smell n wouldn’t. If you could please get back to me as soon as possible.I stayed in Room 212
My family has been searching for a place to consistently stay in California and we have officially found it. The location is perfect for going to the beach, Disneyland, or into the LA area. All of which we did. Perfect for families or just a get away alone. Staff is friendly, rooms are up to date and comfortable, and Internet is amazing. Very happy and have already booked a get away later this year.
Good place to stay if you have kids. Kids can sleep in the room below or in the loft, and theres also the pullout bed. Kitchen area available if you want to cook food. Breakfast until 9:00 before Disneyland helps out too. No hot tub was a disappointment. The beds were very comfortable.
Unsanitary and infested - When we arrived in our room it smelled really bad and the odor was coming from the HVAC so we turned it off (room 312). Our friends who were traveling with us also complained that their room also smelled (room 713). My husband overheard customers who were checking out complaining about the weird smell of the rooms.The following morning I saw a bug on my bed so I moved the sheets and was horrified to find large stains of blood all over the mattress. Management must have known about them as the stains are obvious when changing the sheets. I cant tell you how distraught I am by knowing we slept on a bed that had human pathogens all over it with all of the potential safety issues.When we went to our new room (214) it appeared to be in better condition, but we noticed that the air vent closest to the bathroom had black mold all over it so we immediately turned off the HVAC for the room. The mattress was also uncomfortable and I lost some sleep over it.Being a loyal Marriott customer who only stays in Marriott hotels I was shocked to receive this negative experience. The management did not seem eager to remedy the health risk they are exposing their customers to.If you decide to stay here, check under your sheets and vents.
This hotel is a gem, with great accommodations, super friendly staff, and an excellent complimentary breakfast. Our family stayed in one of their family suite rooms, and it was a perfect accommodation for our large family. We will definitely seek this place out on future visits to the area.
My family always has a wonderful time when stay here, weve been using this particular hotel for many years about once every other year for vacation and weve airways had a good experience. Especially when interacting with the wonderful staff. The coffee and the breakfast is also very good.
The hotel was very nice. Rooms were expected of a Residence Inn, although I stayed in a bottom room, and I could here the kids upstairs running an obstacle course. Didnt bother me as much as I was only there for a night. Staff were nice and friendly as well.
While the hotel may not be immediately visible from the area, it is incredibly easy to find and is convenient to many locations in the valley. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was some of the nicest Ive come across, and the location is perfect--especially if youre headed to Disneyland. A quick drive in the morning before traffic gets bad and youre to Disneyland before you know it.
I had 2 rooms both of which were smelly, dirty, and updated. The beds were not comfortable. Not a good stay for a rigorous theme park vacation where youre tired and want to sleep comfortably and safely in your room.
We enjoyed an excellent stay. Our only problem was an electronic clicking sound that disturbed us the first night. However, staff was very helpful and fixed the problem immediately. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was quite good. We have already book a stay for several more days.
Our room had two bedrooms two bathrooms, one of the rooms was upstairs as a loft. Location seems like in an industrial area but nearby to many locations. Costco, Sams Club, Disneyland and many restaurants, all about 10 min away.
Just an average hotel. They are recovering from Covid. No Housekeeping--they should offer extra points for not having housekeeping (they used to do this). Also, even if you stay in the Boonies, it seems as if Marriott is adding parking fees.
Great room amenities like comfy bed and air conditioning. Cable TV and full kitchen with all needed utensils. Very personable staff. Nice variety of breakfast even better if offered a bit later till 10 and not 9 am everyday. Pet friendly.
Had a great stay. Went here for a large family trip to Disney. Spacious loft, saved on food expenses, had a great time with the pool and amenities during our down times. Staff was friendly and non invasive. Would recommend.
Residence Inn Placentia was great! I only stayed one night, but wish it was more. They had a nightly complimentary happy hour with drinks (beer, wine, soda, etc.) and appetizers- cant beat the free drinks and food. The room was clean and comfortable. Location was extremely convenient.
Like most residence inns this one has nice large clean and well appointed rooms. Its close to the freeway but quiet at the same time at the end of a culdi-sac street. Decent breakfast and evening mixer are a nice perk. good location for business or visiting parks in the area.
Overall, our stay was wonderful. The staff, amenities, location, and the location/cleanliness of the room were all fantastic. The noise from the guests in the room above ours (stomping on the floor/ceiling) and having to reactivate our room cards 7-8 times during our stay definitely concerns.
I nice place to stay. Staff was very courteous and accommodating. The location is next to a freeway in an out of the way place, bit was still quiet. Even so, youre still within shopping distance with a 10-20 ride depending where you want to go. Id definitely recommend for a family stay.
Room was fabulous. Was upgraded to a two bedroom suite for being a Marriott Gold Elite member. Rooms are quite spacious. Will highly recommended for those visiting the area or the Disneyland resort just 7 miles from the hotel.

Great set up and love the kitchen in our suite! Very clean and quiet at night. When you check in, you can request a pretty thorough list of restaurants nearby, without using your phone. The only thing thats weird is the open network, with no password required.

Good hotel, but in reality they dont care if you make reservation or book rooms in advance. It really is first come first serve for them, which is convenient, For Them, not us the customers. My experience was upsetting since i was supposed to stay there with my groomsmen the night before my wedding and get up to us getting ready in a two story room with videographer and photographer but instead got two much smaller rooms and seperate rooms.
Nice comfortable suite hotel.Staff was serviceminded and friendly.Modern and clean rooms. I like that you have a smart TV in the room so you can log on to your own Netflix, HBO, Amazon account and dont have to sit and scroll through all the cannels to find something to watch.Breakfast wasnt the best breakfast Ive had at a hotel, but it got my stomach filled and satisfied.
Ok facility, after initial experience my stay was relaxing. Hotel had construction going on but probably needs upgrades. Dining room was small, couldnt accommodate more the 15 people. But overall kept clean.
Stayed here with a large party (small kids included), we had plenty of space, it was quiet, the food and service were great and the staff went above and beyond our expectations. Only gripe we had was the lack of coffee served at breakfast, however it was provided in the room which helped!
Have enjoyed staying here. Rooms nicely appointed for longer stays with a kitchen, eating area, and living area. Close to fwy but I couldnt hear any noise as i was located closer to the center of the complex. There is a free breakfast, a fitness center, pool and BBQ area. There is a very small basketball court mainly for shooting baskets. There are laundry facilities, but they were closed for renovations. Free Wifi. They do charge $5/night for parking. Fairly close to CSUF. A few miles away from restaurants.

Upon checking in the hotel seemed old and outdated. The front office staff seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people checking in. After 35 minutes we finally were greeted by the staff. The staff were very friendly and assisted us with our reservations. After checking in we went through our room to find the worst room I have ever checked into. The room was dirty, dingy and dark. The room smelled like marijuana and garbage. When I went to open the rooms window, I found dried blood on the curtains.I immediately called the front desk to change rooms. After several minutes of not hearing back, I walked up to the front desk to find out what was taking so long. After waiting in line for another 20 minutes, I was finally able to get another room. The new room was very outdated, but it was clean.This hotel does not seem like other Residence Inns I have stayed in before. The rooms were smaller and outdated. The breakfast staff were fantastic and did everything they could to make my stay more enjoyable.
We have stayed here several times, its our hotel of choice when we visit the area. We like that there is a full kitchen, parking and breakfast furnished. The breakfast is limited but decent. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and overall its a good choice when in the area.
Whats more important? The people or the place? Rare that you get both & were pretty demanding & detail oriented. Place is comfy, clean inside & out. The PEOPLE here are an anomaly. Every one Ive seen every time I see them friendly/helpful WOW! I have a lot of experience with hotels all over the west coast & always have an issue or 2 but this is a nice surprise. I hate moving, transitions always challenging/stressful & having a friendly staff REALLY HELPS.
I love the Marriott brand, but this location was a disappointment. Barking dogs in the room next to us during the night. Loud guest upstairs at 2 am. Garbage not emptied from our room one day although the rest of the room was cleaned. Complimentary breakfast not worth the free price. No amenities available for those left at home (comb and vanity kit). Staff did not seem to care when issues were brought to the attention of the front desk.
When I opened the door, I noticed a clean room, kitchen, all looked decent, other than the Oder of old closet or something, room service happened daily, the bathroom was large, plenty of room, it would be ideal to have at least 3 plastic wrapped sealed cups, the breakfast is lame, I’ve had fantastic included breakfast but not here, when I see Marriott I think first class, unfortunately not here
We had a great time was not next door but close enough to Disney. Me and my 3 children could stay in comfort in the same room. Brought food and drink for park so we had money for other things . Hotel made the trip a great one after 6 years the kids and I needed a great get away and it was.

Please see previous comments. Poor staff response to noise complaint. No service recovery effort and made us feel as though we were an inconvenience. Lied about room availability to try to get us to just deal with noise. When we asked to move to a different Marriott down the street, they somehow were able to find an open room for us. The experience was not up to par with my expectations as a long time Marriott traveler/credit card holder.
The rooms are spacious and have a full fridge and kitchenette. Staff was quick to repair one of the lights that was out in the room. The only thing I would have liked was a hot tub. I would definitely stay here again though.
We were attending my brothers funeral in Southern California (Fullerton exactly) and wanted a place to be comfortable that was more than a hotel room. My son loved the loft room with his own bed and bathroom. (He usually gets a roll away, but this room had 3 queen beds and two bathrooms). We gathered with friends in the living area and small kitchen area. It was just perfect for us.
Rooms are done really well and very clean. Excellent location and a good breakfast served daily.Make sure to get a room that is quiet from the beginning otherwise could be problems with noise From an above guest. Otherwise this place is excellent For business and family.
The associates at the front desk seemed like they didnt know the information and full details on the cost of rooms. Had two different girls tell me two different things and because of the confusion, the room cost $40 more than I was told. After going back in to talk to a manager, she had told me there was nothing to be done. Although it was a nice room, your associates completely ruined my stay and therefore I will not be staying again with you and also promise to let everyone I know about my experience. Hopefully you can hire some more knowledgeable employees for your future guests.
The advertised heated pool was very cold. We found a few cups that were dirty and stained. The bed was uncomfortable and did not have enough blankets to keep warm. Someone came to their room after midnight and stomped around. The footsteps echoed through the ceiling and woke us up twice each night. The positives are that they served a good breakfast. The suite layouts are good so walk around, do work on the internet, and fix meals. It is also close to Anaheim and Fullerton to make it convenient for colleges and Disneyland.
We truly enjoyed everything about Residence Inn Anaheim Placentia/Fullerton. The staff was excellent providing courteous and expedient service. The meals were delicious and various in choosing. The suite was WELL APPOINTED. Upstairs/downstairs - it was lofted - with plenty of space. Beautiful décor, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops. Very beautiful and peaceful location that served as a nice come home to after being all day at Disney and Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Universal, just touring Los Angeles. Most of all the cost for this beautiful Residence Inn was very affordable! Thank you for allowing my family and me to be a part of your Residence. We will return soon - thank you!!
HUGE rooms, big kitchens, all very clean. The whole complex looks like it used to be apartments and you get lots of privacy. It was very comfortable. I appreciated how the showers have the big pumpa of shampoo ajd conditioner, rather than just the tiny aingle use bottles. Free breakfast was good, if a little basic. Cereals, waffle maker, fruit, etc. Its proximity to Disneyland is why we chose it ( less than 20 min away) and we would stay there again.
This Marriott is located in an industrial park next to many businesses, if I didnt have a map I would have never found it tucked away from the road. I like staying at the Residence Inn because it is like a little apartment, complete with kitchen and all basic items. The breakfast is the same as any other hotel breakfast. It is quiet and does the job. I will definitely choose Marriott Hotels in the future.
DO NOT STAY HERE! Since January 2, 2018 I have stayed in a Marriott hotel over 80 nights. Edwardo personally made my decision to stay at a Marriott again very easy...I wont. He has no clue how to treat customers. This hotel changed the room I booked to a downgraded version, charged me the same, never notified me, and didnt do anything to fix the problem. When I called Marriott they didnt seem to care either. After holding for 45 minutes I was told nothing would be fixed and if I checked out and left I will be still charged in full for the two nights. Then the manager told me a friend of mine who works for Marriott will be fired since I complained. Hello discrimination and retaliation lawsuit Marriott. You should thank Edwardo.This location is also in a very bad area we found. Doors are triple locked and bars on the windows for security. This is not a family friendly place. If you are staying here to visit Disney then your costs just went up as there is no easy access to Disneyland from this hotel.
Stayed here when we visited Disneyland for Fall break. Rooms are large and spacious- exactly what one would expect from a Residence Inn. Location was convenient for our site seeing. Very reasonable rates. They bring in food trucks in the evening, so dinner was always a fun treat!
The suite was awesome--bigger than my last apartment! The master bedroom was especially nice. There were seven of us getting ready for a wedding, but we felt like we had plenty of space.
The staff were friendly and our room was incredible! Breakfast was also delicious! They upgraded our room to a suite which we fell in love with! We will definitely consider a suite with Residence Inn again in the future!
Amazing hotel!! The rooms were nice and very spacious. The breakfast was delicious 😋. It was my personal favorite because they had waffles with whipped cream and chocolate chips 😋. Im giving this review a 4 star because the wifi and the tv wasnt working

Overall, the rooms were updated and pretty clean. Breakfast is the usual simple items such as breads, cereals, eggs and waffles. The major issue with our room was that it was right next to the basketball court and pool. The basketball court should have a closing time but it doesnt. You could hear the ball bouncing throughout our room. Also, adults and kids were playing after 10pm so it was hard to sleep with the kids and adults screaming and bouncing the ball. They were actually screaming at the top of their lungs and this included the adults that were with the children. If your room is next to the basketball court it may be better to see if you could get a different one.
Always had good thing to say about Marriott Brand properties but not this time. Killed two roaches one huge one. When the third one went under the sofa bed that broke the camels back and without making any big deal at front desk I went and asked front desk manager who was very nice and told her not to rent this room to any one unless she fumigates the building. Staff is very nice but they should know about this problem. Marriott should conduct a thorough visit of this property for quality control as I am not sure and now I questioning my loyalty to Marriott after this visit. i am not sure if I will recommend Marriott Residence Inn to anyone. I use to tell people Marriott owns me (well not any more will I repeat that)
The room was large 2 floors. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking which is included. Free breakfast also included. Sofa bed not so comfortable. Could feel the springs. Could not find any safe. Phone only located on the second floor.
I highly recommend the family bi level suite for families. we had five family members nice living room and a full functioning kitchen 3 queen size bed and comfortable Sofa sleeper clean two bathrooms mix and mingle Monday through Wednesday full delious breakfast everyday. Great value compared to other hotels around the Anaheim Area
If you are looking for a spacious suite without paying an arm and a leg, you have found it. Three queen beds, two bathrooms and a kitchen (in the family suite) make this one of the best in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone with a family and especially anyone with teenagers! We will be going back as soon as we can!
We were treated very well from the minute we got out of the car. The room was immaculate, everything in its place. The area was super quiet making for a great nights sleep. We have been looking for the right place to stay in this area for years, yes years. We have found it.
Great rooms, pool and service!! Very clean! The staff are very nice and it is a good family place to stay. They brought us ice creams while are kids and us were swimming. 👍🏻
Clean hotel first of all. Room was clean and very spacious. The amenities were awesome! Loved the tea tree shampoo!! Very good experience. Long drive to Universal studios but worth the drive. Will be back.
Great place to stay if you want more space and a full kitchen. Its removed from the main roads so it was quiet. The staff were helpful and the room was well kept. I would stay here again.
Terrible Service and unsanitary rooms.I want to start off and state that we are Marriott snobs and we always stay at Marriotts when traveling. With that said, we are Platinum members with the chain. This was the worst experience we have had from any Marriott by far and we only expected to find what we did with a small motel - not a international chain. We had issues with the service, room odor, bed, pests, blood pathogens, and black mold.Room Odor - our 1st room had a weird dirty odor. I eventually realized that it was engrained in the HVAC unit so I turned it off and told the front desk. My friend who was traveling with us also complained that their room smelled as well. I also overheard a guest who was checking out complaining about a weird odor from their room. These places have some weird odors.Blood Pathogens (Images) - After our first night my wife noticed a bug on the bed and it made her move the sheets from the bed. She found the mattress to be drenched in blood from someone else. There is a maintenance sticker next to the blood stating when to turn the mattress 180 degrees and they just did it in January. The blood on the mattress was not new and other people must have also been sleeping on it.Mattress - speaking about the mattress it was not comfortable at all. I didnt sleep well and I found a tag stating it was manufactured in 2009. All of the mattresses need to be retired and new ones brought in.Black Mold (Images) - When we got moved to our second room on the second day it all seemed mostly okay, except that we found black mold in the air vent. As soon as i saw it i turned off the HVAC. This was not dust....Pests (Images) - We had gnats in our room. My friend who stayed in a separate room also found Roaches just outside of the rooms.Service - The one good thing that I consistently find from Marriott is excellent customer service. We didnt find that here. When we originally called in to see if we could check in early and also have a room near our friends whom would be checking in at the same time we received a response that was surprising. The responses were nos along with the phrase First come, first serve instead of let me see what I can do. Also when we complained about the room it felt as if we were bothering them and that this normally happens. Also, the compensation they offered was a box of chocolate and $10 off.Ethically if I was hotel management, I could not under good faith charge people to stay in these rooms. Ethically if I was hotel management, I would do my best to right the wrong and not just offer a box of chocolate and a ten dollar rebate.My recommendation is to not stay at this specific Residence Inn.
Overall the room was very nice and the staff very helpful. Housekeeping did an excellent job with the room in a timely manner. The television channels were minimal and half were analog and difficult to watch which made relaxing on a day off less enjoyable.
This hotel is clean and well maintained, with very comfortable beds. It has great amenities, such as pool and tennis court. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel as great value for money and a lovely place to stay.

2023-12-01 02:32:28Stay away from this decaying motel. Be careful at night because there are homeless people all around the rear of the property. Lock all of your doors. The rooms smell musty. Lighting is awful.

2023-06-19 19:20:51I visited the Residence Inn over this last weekend with my family to attend my Fathers funeral. Although it was a unfortunate reason for the trip, the hotel folks did a fantastic job making sure everything went smoothly. Quick and easy check-in, with a late check-out to accommodate our schedule. There was plenty of room for our family (three queens plus a pull out sofa) and the room was clean and quiet. They even went above and beyond by leaving a nice note of condolence along with a basket of treats. I can highly recommend this location for anyone traveling with a family.

2023-11-29 22:52:49Dont go there! I stayed for 3 nights and had over 50 bites on my legs. They would not let me go with them to check for bed bugs. They said it was policy, and then denied there was any. They did let me wash my clothes before I left, but I spoke with management and corporate and they would do nothing to help. I have pictures with bites everywhere.

2023-11-05 22:15:45A bed bug appeared in my room and I was bitten every day.Feet, legs, abdomen, chest, back, arms, etc...about 20 places.When I entered the room after checking in, there was a strong smell of dirty animals, so I guess the previous guests pet was very dirty.The staff working at this hotel were very kind.However, because of the bed bugs, during the first week of my stay I was so stressed out that I was itchy every day and couldnt sleep, so I gave it a 1 star rating.

2023-05-27 20:17:28The room itself was nice. The door kept getting stuck when trying to leave or enter the room. The shower had good pressure but would have liked another setting on the shower head. Was not expecting a parking fee of $9 however and certainly wasnt made clear there would be one prior to booking the room; i could see if we had multiple cars or the hotel had a conference space but only had one cat and there was no conference space, which made the fee ridiculous.

2023-06-16 15:14:33Fantastic room at a great price when we booked. 15 min from disney and we even spun the wheel and got free parking. We knew about the fee before and were ready so that was great! Staff was amazingly friendly and even found a toy i could not when packing up. Called us soon after we left and had it ready for us. Only complaint at all was that the seal around our door was wearing a bit so some loud neighbors could be heard one night but im willing to bet itll get fixed because it was a nicely maintained room. Tons of plugs and room for everything even though we just had a 1 ned suite. Definitely would book again. Thank you!

During our stay the wifi and TV Internet providers (Netflix,Hulu,Prime) were unavailable, property stated their internet providers server was down and was out of their control. Provided free parking ($9.00 per night) for this inconvenience. Went to the hotel pool on two different days, water was extremely cold. It seems they do have a pool water heater but only turn it on briefly as we felt the warm water coming from the jets but then turned off. On-site laundry did not wash our clothes properly, dryer left clothes extremely damp. Had to hang clothes all over room and blow dry most items. Property sits next to freeway with a ditch in between. First night there witnessed 2 men and a female stealing copper wire from somewhere in the ditch and load it into their car that was parked next to hotel. On our fourth morning, a homeless man with a full face mask was lying on the propertys grass under a tree. Man appeared intoxicated as he was twitching his arms and legs everywhere. Property states rooms are smoking free but our room smelled like cigarette throughout our stay. Our sliding door did lock did not latch properly and could be opened from outside, a metal stick was placed to hold the door from opening. We were highly disappointed with most of our stay at this property, especially since we had our 2 small children.
