I had excellent service. The salsa is ok. The warm chips were nice. I had the Super Burrito with Asada and the green sauce. It was very good. Its a large burrito. Very good flavor.
The staff was friendly and efficient. We were attended to promptly and seated right away. There were lots of items to choose from and the food was delicious and served quickly. A place I will attend again in the future.

This was horrible the portion is so ridiculous it’s not even funny this is a shrimp cocktail to go for $18.48, and even when I went back in and mentioned it they were like oh no that’s the size, sorry. SO MUCH for CUSTOMER SERVICE!! and the Customer Being Right!! What a RIP OFF!!! WON’T BE GOING BACK HERE AGAIN!!!!
First time here, recommended by a close friend. Food was very good and tasty and the service was excellent. Chips, salsa and drinks on the table before we were there five minutes. The food couldnt have been 5 minutes from ordering. The only slight disappointment was that the salsa wasnt a big hit, but my husbands fajitas and my carne asada was delicious.
I ordered a burrito that had chicken, rice, beans and cilantro in it. Cant remember the name of it. I believe the chicken was under cooked or bad in some way because it gave me food poisoning. 2 hrs after leaving the restaurant I was throwing up, had a fever and diarrhea.
The food had no flavor this is the second restaurant in LB that their food is terrible, definitely not coming back!

My experience here felt mixed. The food was overall okay. The service is the reason why Im giving this review 3 stars. The timing that our food came in was all over the place. For example, one of us had our side come in first, then everyone had their dish come in, and finally her main course came. Throughout our whole stay, no one checked up on our table to see if we needed refills or even the check. We were trying to make contact with the waitress, but it seemed like they were ignoring us. We actually almost left because no one wanted to give us the check. Overall, food was standard but the service could be better.

Food is excellent. Homemade corn and flour tortillas. The service on the other had is questionable at best. Probably because they seem to be understaffed. They will take your order but good luck getting them to come back to your table after that

I didnt like it. There were four of us and when we got there the outside dinging had a table of more than four that had already been there. We didnt recieve a warm welcome. There were at least 4 tables on the patio that seated 3 but the hostess told us we couldnt sit there because we had one too many. But then she suddenly remembered a table in the back (way back) . I just thought that they could have pushed a chair and table together to seat us it wasnt busy at all. The food was simply food however the chalada beer that we had was bomb and very decorative! Kinda pricey for bland food. Probably wont go back..I need to up date this one. I have been back several times. Turns out I love it. They have stuff not listed on the menu so ask if you dont see anything youre looking for. The waitresses are ok one of them will smile. They do take a long time to serve the food but that might not be their fault. Food is great!!!! We probably been back 20 or 30 times since my first review of this place. I totally recommend it.
The first thing I noticed when I walked in to this place was a sign on a door that said, hiring waitress, no experience necessary.At first I didnt think much of it but it should have instantly been a red flag for me.While the food was decent the service was horrible.The only thing that deserves a 5 star is their dessert the Fried icecream If I do decide to go back it would only be for dessert and definitely would be to-go.

Food is great...service is horrible!!! The servers that we had were not helpful at all, we asked for cutlery and an extra plate on 2 occasions and it seemed like we were bothering them...hardly came to check on us, restaurant was not busy at all...most likely will not come back again...

Been here to eat 2 times. The first time was very good, great service, great portions. The 2nd time was not even close to what we experienced the first time. I ordered what looked like a great tasting combo fajita plate, with chicken, beef, & shrimp. This plate had enough bell peppers, lettuce, and onions to make a nice large salad, if thats what I wanted. I asked for extra refried beans, and they brought me a small plate with very little beans & rice. I gave it one star because the chicken enchilada plate was great.
Nice place nice people but stay away from the campechana, very little seafood, old and disgusting oysters. Also fajitas are something we will never order again.Drinks were ok.
Bad food. I got food poisoning . It isnt even a hit or miss anymore its just bad. Dont go if you dont want to be sick for weeks.
Short staffed, after waiting 15 minutes and no one coming by to at least get our drink order we left. Not really a fair review because we didnt try the food. I hear it is delicious. Unfortunately for the business only 1 wait person working at the time we were there. Hopefully not a common occurrence.
The best seafood restaurant in Los Banos . And now theyre making fresh tortillas. The seafood is always on point and the salsa is bomb. Your tastebuds will definitely be missing out on some great food if you dont at least try it once.
I never wrote a review but I had to write a review. They sat me at a table and they didnt even bother to wipe off the chairs. The food here is full of salt. I ordered camarones a la diabla the shrimp had so much spice in it the beans were super salty and the rice too. Their chicken fajita was full of salt too the meat tasted like it was old. For the prices they charge here you are better off going to a taco truck

The environment is family friendly. The rice and beans were really good 🙏🙄 along with the rest of the dishes. Portions were generous and each of my family members had an enjoyable time. Our waitres was very friendly, patient, and attentive. And yes theyre understaff, we were sorta held hostage lol they had us waiting for our tab for a long, long time. As we sat there waiting for our tab, we noticed that in between the seats its really dirty, but can be easily cleaned up with a damp towel.

If youre in the mood for mediocrity then this is the place for you. The setting is decent enough, with a good mix of some Spanish music playing overhead. The food however is a little bland and is what I would call just ok. Sure it looks good, but the truth is always in the flavor. Also if youre like me and have a baby, this is not an establishment that is properly equipped for families with infants. There is no changing table for your baby so you might have to take them to the car.I gave this restaurant 3 stars because the service was pretty good. The food came out very quickly, albeit not tasteful, and the waitress was quite friendly. But I wouldnt really reccomend going here except maybe for a beer.
We went because everyone raves about it. We got the seafood molcajete. We asked the waitress if it would serve 2 people, and she assures us that it would. The darn thing was 40 dollars, so we expected to have enough seafood for 2. It came without sides, and the molcajete was full of this tomato based sauce that had no flavor. Seafood wise there was 4 shrimps, 2 very small peaces of crab led, a bunch of onion tomato, and nasty chopped up squid. The squid was slimy. It was not pleasant to eat, and it was not enough food for 2 that is for sure. The service was just as mediocre as the food. The waitress came to check on us once in the entire time we were there. It was not because it was busy, because there were two other costumers in the whole restaurant besides us.
Food was delicious! It took a bit for someone to notice us waiting to be seated, but, when they did, she was polite and attentive. Favorite restaurant in any City!
Hit and miss here, they always change chefs. Sometimes the Mariscada is good but usually it’s junk. They will skimp the portion drastically. Seems like I’m always better off cooking 🧑🍳 at home 🏠… I always feel ripped off here. Restaurant lacks consistency. As we all know consistency is key 🔑. Nunca Es lo mismo siempre falla algo. Cambian cocineros a cada rato Es mejor cocinar en Casa la Neta !!! La Comida 🥘 Vale Riata la neta !!

Nasty food the salsa doesnt taste authentic at all. Im Mexican and let me say that aint no salsa. Not to mention the meat didnt taste like fresh meat but like if were there for a long time. I do not recommend this restaurant. Too damn expensive prices are ridiculous . Do yourself a favor and go to Gruillense .
The beef soup was fresh & had excellent flavor. I had a carne asada tostada that was really delicious, too. My friend, who is a picky Mexican food eater, said the Chile relleno was very good & enjoed her tostada, as well. Our waitress/owner gave us excellent service & was very friendly!!
Yoom our order in a timely manner. We asked for avocado to be placed on side, due to food allergies. Food came with avocado onto of food. Had to send plate back. After we were served not once did they come and ask if everything was okay. Not even to check on drinks or offer refills. Food was okay, BLAND not really any flavor. I w ou old have to say we received POOR customer service.

It a very nice place, but canned sauce and and chips and salsa is okay but the salsa has to much tomatoes, and tortillas are microwaved... waitresses was rude. Had to ask for my drinks and tortillas. And my chile relleno was way under-cooked.

Worst experience ever. The waitress didn’t visit us not once after we received our food. No drink refills offered. My tacos were cold and I didn’t get a chance to tell her that because she never came back after I got the food.i don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Please work on greeting your customers. One of the waitresses saying something along the lines of, Welcome to El Michoacano. Please feel free to seat yourself, someone will be with you to take your order shortly. And thats it. Lo mismo dicho para la clientela que habla español.

2023-06-06 01:03:52I love coming here! Food, drinks, and service are always on point! Weekends have a great atmosphere. Want a more chill day to just eat Monday through Thursday. The portions of food are big. They are a little pricey but worth it. Cant complain Ive always had a great experience with them food and service wise!

The staff was extremely courteous, and patient with me, as I was changing my mind on what to order (So many great dishes).I highly recommend this restaurant to all those who enjoy Mexican food, or would like to try something new. I ordered the Mariscada grande and noticed that the Prawns are not fully clean (see attached image). This may seem like something small, but the price for this item is north of $50. I would appreciate the cleaning of the prawns. Not sure if they can be cleaned or not, but just thought I would flag this.
