Excellent value! I loved this concept of vegetarian/vegan drive thru. It’s great that you can ask for any of their dishes with vegan ingredients. The cheese beef is an absolute win. I had the Italian dog and it was pretty good too! It’s not incredibly fast but neither slow. Fries were well seasoned and everything was packed nicely. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it. :)

Ive been subsisting off of a drive thru food for a while now, so I figured this wouldnt taste good to me, but it was 💣 and so filing! The tofu burger had a little BBQ and fresh tomato and greens, not iceburg.Fries had a good flavor and texture. I even forgot the ketchup, and they were so good.I expected unsweetened ice tea, but it was sweet, but no big deal was still delicious.Ive been here before but left cus the pictures on the sign dont represent the delicious food well at all! The sign sucks and doesnt say vegetarian but dont let that deter you. This place is sooo good!

Pretty good food, i like the concept of a vegetarian drive thru ($23 for a hot dog, a burger, and two teas). not super filling unless you get sides. i wish the menu listed the ingredients. also the “iced tea” is actually a sweet tea which is annoying. a revamp of the menu would go a long way, fewer options if needed.

I love being able to order anything without having to ask details. Came on May 6, 2021 around 5pm. No one was in front of me or behind me at the drive thru. They managed to burn my vegan nuggets and my vegan philly cheese steak sandwich bread. I drove too far and was too hungry so I tried to eat around all the burnt food. Disappointed that they actually handed me the burnt food to drive off with. Tasted awful. My bread was blackened, cmon. I know you see how burnt it is when you lather up my bread with veg mayo. Poor quality control. Youd think theyd do what they could to help their small business survive during these trying times. Sad. For advertising to eat healthy, they sure served me a ton of carcinogens.

I am a Hardcore Meat Eater. I hate vegan and vegetarian food but this place is the only place Ive ever been to thats satiated hunger and where I dont miss meat, when I eat it I get the Philly cheese steak and never regret it nuff said. I would honestly take that over a steak sometimes, like if the steak is from a chain restaurant.

My fiancé and I LOVE this place. Very sweet, no frills drive thru with all vegetarian options. I am hugely thankful that they don’t mega-inflate their prices for having dietary-restricted foods. It is so rare these days. Staff are friendly and we’re always delighted at the quality!

By far the worst nachos Ive had. Can you try? Is this a vegetarian/vegan restaurant? Do we have any spices..or just a can opener? Sorry, if you cant get chips with a small smattering of beans and cheese right I am afraid of the rest of the menu. What a shame..(PS the pic of the loaded nachos is deceptive. This is the nastiest vegetarian/vegan restaurant I have ever been too in the 4 years eating plant based. Me and my boyfriend got a breakfast burrito and fries. First off, they put this type of soy carne asada inside, it wasn’t good. The fries were stale, they had no taste what so ever. Better off going to veggie grill around the area.

I was excited to try this place but once I did, I couldnt have been more disappointed. The Air Fries smelled like feet and tasted like they had some mixture of sugar and parmesan on them. Maybe one out of every ten fries was crispy, the rest were soggy and translucent. My veggie burger was thin, soggy, and drenched in mustard. The bun was alright and the spinach and tomato did taste fresh, but I was hungry and still ended up discarding about half of the meal.

One of my favorite place for a vegetarian cheat meal in the area. Love the cheeseburger, chili cheese fries, cheese steak and of course the shakes. The root beer float and green drink are both very good. Ive eaten here at least 20 times in the last 3 years and the food has remained the same superior quality. I continue to come here for the food and know the service is just ok.

Ive been coming here for years. Never had bad service. Not once. Some people are rude to food service workers so maybe they just got the same energy back.However, the food is not the same. The portions are a lot smaller. I ordered two tacos and they each had 4 small pieces of soy meat very little lettuce and cheese.The air fries were soggy. I asked them to crisp them more and still gave them back soggy.To bad this place used to be amazing but they Took some steps down on quality of food.

I ordered a bean burrito. Yes pretty basic abut that’s what I wanted. It had to be the very worse burrito I had in my entire life. I gave it to my dogs and even they refused to eat it! The tortilla tasted old and the beans weren’t fully cooked. No flavor, no spices no salt! Nothing!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!

Unfortunately they’re not what they used to be a few years ago not sure if they change their management. You get better food is at grocery store frozen and put it in your oven at home but the customer service it’s just HORRIBLE the guy that’s there cuts you off closes the door on you doesn’t let you finish your sentence/request we got lemonades and they tasted horrible!!! We turned around to replace them and he was saying that that’s all the lemonade they have we requested to change to a different drink he close the window came back with two cokes and almost just drop them into my car instead of handing them to me. It didn’t surprised me when I checked another review when I got home and it said the same thing. I hope they change!!! This place has been the vegetarian fast food place to go to for years. It shut down for a while but I noticed it recently reopened and went back to check it out. It is literally the same place it always has been. The burgers are very good, but they will fall apart. The chili is good. The hot dogs are good and the air fries will not disappoint. My favorite thing is either the chai or peanut butter shake. They used to have a carob shake which was better then either of these, but these will do. If you want to skip the meat some day, check this place out.

Since becoming vegan 8 years ago I have not had a milkshake, and Ive missed them, so I was excited to see they have them here. Dont get me wrong the food is great but the SERVICE? Why do they feel the need to be so rude. I live so close to here and frequently visit but they treat me as more of a nuisance than a returning customer. Ive dealt with the feeling of being an annoyance for some time there but after my last trip...itll have to be the last. Go there if you need a healthier option then all of the surrounding fast food but dont go for the experience. and FYI just because you get vegan cheese on one of their items, it does not make it VEGAN. they do not tell you that they put mayonnaise in their menu options and then proceed to tell you its vegan. To the Owner: Learn more about your menu and hey.... try not to hate on your customers. We don’t have to be right but live up to some of those stickers you have pasted all over your windows and take pride in what you do. SMH

I usually go here a couple times a year when im.passing through and usually order the African burrito but today I ordered the breakfast burrito and had no idea it came with the fake meat(for some reason i get a headache every time i eat fake meat)inside, took one lil bite and did not like it all. Anyways I ordered the burrito, it didn’t take long to make and I truly understand why. It was like chili with premade spring mix salad mix wrapped in a wheat tortilla. I agree with several of the customers who have written reviews, the 2 guys that work there are completely anti-social and unfriendly. Ive ordered there and after paying had the window slammed closed in my face. I dont know how they can claim they arent rude when its clear they are not friendly. I have a friend who used to go there thats convinced they hate women. I dont understand how they can sell vegan food and advertise compassion for animals and be so VILE to their customers who clearly are a better class of people because they understand compassion to all, especially animals. The worst vegan/vegetarian place I’ve ever been too. I waited 20 minutes to be asked for my order and 5 minutes just for some stale, store bought, iced tea. The person working was very rude and called the city of Pasadena to give a ticket for parking for too long,when I clearly bought something and had a handicap sticker. This place deserves -2000 stars. The food is great! Im eating the quesadilla and Veggie burger now. It really is good. I knew the original Owner, Orean. He was a Very freindly man, who was way ahead of his time. He had Orean Express in Hollywood on Vine, and in Beverly Hills. He sold the one in Pasadena, and although the food is excellent, sometimes the person at the window didnt get the memo on excellent customer service. Could use improvment.

I attempted to pay for my food and wanted to pay on another card than initially given. I was given the card back and the window slammed in my face. The employee refused to give me service. I said this wasnt good customer service and asked to speak with someone from management. The employee stuck up his middle finger and tapped on the window with either a can of mace or some other kind of weapon. I called the stores number 4 times and was hung up on each time. I called the the police and was told the person who was doing this was the owner and that this location has been sprayed people with mace men and women numerous times before. I frequented this place for over 10 years, unfortunately it will be no more. I was actually able to get pictures and video of the incident even with him holding the can of mase with my back totally turned to him.

I was a customer of Oreans for many, many years when he was back in Hollywood (and later migrated to Pasadena). He created the concept of authentic fast vegan food. He was really a dynamic healthy food oriented guy. I believe he has passed on and his family has partnered with or sold to an individual named Ricardo (current name on sign) who now is running the place. The food is not as good as it originally was, but the biggest disappointment is that the staff provides very hostile, uncooperative and negative service. You might say they make the whole experience quite unpalatable!

Its not that fast to get your food, and the man who takes your order kind of sounds like hes super pissed off. Like a vegan soup nazi. But its all part of the charm. Terrible customer service!!! It’s Never the customer fault for not knowing where to order. It’s the business fault to make it more clear to where to order. We should not be yelled at and scrutinize because your instructions are unclear and confusing. By the way there is no other person there but me. Horrible first experience and never coming here again. African Burrito was great.Strawberry shake came out neon pink, like a super bright pepto bismol drink and tasted like crushed tums.
