We had a great meal here. We had to make a reservation a few weeks in advance, but it was worth the wait. All the appetizers were top-notch. I also really love the pasta that we got. If I went again, I think I would stay away from the mains and just get every single appetizer on the menu lol. Not that our fish was bad, it just wasn’t as unique as other dishes.

Everything was delicious!! I’m still thinking about the porcini donuts 🤤 I recommend sharing dishes so you can get a wide variety of dishes to try! The sardine chips were so tasty and the peach pasta was a flavour combo we hadn’t had before, very good! Will definitely be recommending for a fancier night out.Only qualm was our cocktail order took quite a while and didn’t arrive until after our appetizers. Tasted great! just would have been great if the drinks arrived together.

Me and my husband had a wonderful dinner at Rich table. The service was very friendly and attentive. We were greeted by the host and he seated us right away on time for our reservation. All of the staff came over multiple times during our dinner to refill our waters or ask if we wanted another cocktail. Our waitress also went over the menu with us in depth and gave us some of her recommendations. I recommend getting a few dishes to share. We started with their porcini donuts, which taste like a savory beignet and we really enjoyed. We also tried the bluefin tuna Toro toast which was delicious, but we don’t think for $20 It was worth the price given they don’t give you a lot of tuna. We also got their take on an eggplant Parm and the aged beef dumplings, which were great. For a pasta dish we tried the lemon ricotta pasta with vodka sauce and thought it was really fresh and the sauce was great. For our main entrée we had the 21 day aged ribeye and their take on a twice baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly, we would highly recommend trying. Come hungry! We would definitely come back to Rich Table.

It was great but it was not as good as a friend said “best restaurant in town” … we got two spots at the bar at 5pm. We tried the porcini donut, beef dumplings, sardine crackers, duck liver with onion, black cod, tataki. The best was the sardines crackers, the Asian type of dishes (beef dumplings with chili crisps, tataki and black cod are at par with Asian restaurants but not superior, thus 4 star(. Also after the signature appetizers and the cod dish we had no room for pasta, maybe we missed the best part but if you want to try the pasta, skip some appetizers. the beef dumplings with chili crisps and Cod with kimchi as a side seem to please those who enjoy a stronger palette than those who prefer a more citrus, tangy modern California of palette . Maybe that is why my friend thinks it is the best restaurant, whereas I was looking for a more delicate palette and perhaps more citrusy and contrast of texture. Thus a 4 star for me.

Finally got to try Rich Table and was blown away. The service was mind blowing. The whole staff is very observant and offered things before I could even ask. Larry the bartender was a delight. I asked about a white Negroni and he knew exactly what to do. He explained things on the menu that sounded more appetizing than their description. All the desserts had dairy and our waitress saw me trying to find a lactaid in my pocket so she offered to substitute almond milk ice cream. I haven’t seen this kind of kind service since I worked at the Ritz. Lifetime fan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Im new to the area but Rich table has been my favorite dining experience so far in SF. Everything was incredible! For starters, my server Larry was awesome. He was super knowledgeable and answered every question I had about the menu.Everything was fantastic, and I mean everything! From the donuts, to the aged beef dumplings and the cacio pepe pasta. Nothing missed the mark. At the end of the night, I spent 60 to 70 dollars on myself, which is a steal in SF. If you have the opportunity, grab a reservation at Rich Table, you won’t regret it!

Good overall experience. The food was outstanding delicious. Exclusive. Innovative. Taste full very well presented. the wine selection was excellent the service was very good.The downside, but it doesnt change the experience much, was that all our clothes came out with a very strong smell of food (Bring easy to wash cloths) and that the waiter was so loud that make our ears hurt (Bring earplugs ;-) .

The fact that we got a reservation for 5 people was incredible for a Saturday night. The food was incredible, prepared to perfection and our server was so nice and attentive, answered our questions and even asked the chef about vegan food options for someone in our party. We mostly ordered a bunch of dishes and ate it cafeteria style.My favorite by far was the aged beef with the enchilada on top. I had no idea it would be as flavorful and delicate as it was.The cod was also a close second favorite. Who would’ve thought that peas would taste so amazing. One of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had! Food was very delicious - porcini doughnuts were my personal fave. Miso cod, sardine chips and coconut shaved ice were also amazing. 06/03/23 - Back Again - Heard there were new items on the menu and had to try them. So we flew out from NJ for the weekend. Even better selection with stellar service from everyone. This time the Tsar Nicoulai Estate Caviar, Morel Mushroom Fried Rice, Toro Carpaccio on Milk Toast, Nectarine Alfredo, and Marinated Blue Fin Toro Blood Line skewers left me trembling it was that good.02/21/23 - First Time - What a creative menu. You just have to try everything. Loved the Aged Beef Dumplings, Dried Porchini Doughnuts, Crab Salad, and the Sea Urchin Cacio E Pepe. But they are still bringing out more food. The Dry-Aged Ribeye is definitely a must try. Just melts in your mouth. Dont let the names scare you. Its an adventure of decadently pleasant surprises.Did I Mention - One of the Chefs (Michael Coppola) is my son. He would get a chuckle if you say hi when you visit and give him a 5-Star.

Not only was the chef’s prix fixe selection innovative and expertly prepared, there are a few surprises to delight even those familiar with the format. But the absolute highlight is the service — Nicole took an incredible amount of time making sure things were perfect, and this includes holding a cake we brought, us deciding against it, then her taking it back, only for her to ask management if we could return 3 hours later for dessert, which they answered in the affirmative. Anyway, that’s just a taste of the complexity and annoyance we brought and she and the staff took it all in stride and made what felt like effortless hospitality. Amazing and memorable experience, to say the least.

This is definitely the place to go if you feel like youve seen it all when it comes to Californian cuisine. They will show you that you havent! Our party of 4 all got the tasting menu so we could try as many dishes as possible. Many of the dishes were unusual flavor combinations, such as their well-known porcini donuts, or the octopus tostada with pluot and Jimmy Nardello chimichurri. I also noticed they have a lot of very umami-heavy dishes. They were also very accommodating of our gluten-free friend which was lovely.I dont think it quite lived up to the hype -- its not the first place I would think to take someone who came to visit. However, as I said above, if youre looking for a new spin definitely try this place out!The service was friendly, and the overall vibe was lively but still cozy.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. We loved every dish we tried and all of them were so creative and delicious! Our favorite dishes of the night:Porcini donuts (could have eaten like 10 of those), which were so light and airy and had the perfect umami texture.Chicken Liver Mousse, which was served with madeleines made with crispy chicken skin (sounds weird but was soooo good) - perfectly balanced flavorsTonnarelli pasta with uni cacio e pepe, such a creamy and umami flavorDuck mille feuille lasagna was so crispy and the duck really added an awesome dimension to the lasagnaPOGS shaved ice was so refreshing and reminded us of Hawaiian shaved ice, and the little fruit jellies were a great touch! The desserts all seemed to have a whimsical, childhood/nostalgia theme to them and it was very cute.We really loved Rich Table and will definitely be returning. A little disappointed in the meal. Had high hopes after reading all the reviews & the lengthy wait. We ordered a little bit from each part of the menu. The arrancini that we had was good, the tikka masala sauce was a little tart. The chili oil tasted burnt/bitter & unfortunately ruined the taste of the dumplings. The pasta was buttery & good, however when eating it with the steak, (reminded me of the Big Mac sauce). I’m big on desserts & was just plain old disappointed by the selection and quality. Maybe it was just an off night for the team.

Rich Table is hands down my favorite upscale restaurant to take people to who are visiting in San Francisco. The price isnt cheap, but for once the price of the food is actually incredibly worth it and it feels like a steal for the bang for buck that you get for most menu items. You can trust the kitchen to knock it out of the park with whatever the daily menu is serving up.I absolutely love how *non* fussy and not pretentious the environment is. Staff wear dark jeans and have a very down to earth, friendly neighborhood welcoming attitude. Whoever manages and trains the wait staff and bar staff does a fantastic job.The best things Ive tried here have been the oysters, the Szechuan Pork Schnitzel (would love to see this on the menu again), and the desserts- we tried a blueberry compote, a strawberry gratin and another one that I cant remember, and we all said they were the best desserts we had, by far, during my friends 10 day California vacation. The biggest downside of this place is how hard it is to get a reservation.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever dined at. Everything was perfect from start to finish.We had a pretty late reservation at 9:15pm but it was well worth the wait. My hubby and my bff shared all the dishes and at first, I didn’t think there was enough food but there was definitely plenty (see my photos for specifics). Everything we ordered is a must! Didn’t get a photo of the bread but you have to order that too. I mean, it’s just bread, but it’s good bread with GOOD butter.Our server went above and beyond. Forgot her name but I think it’s Evelyn? She was soooo detailed and was very attentive. We never had an empty glass of wine/champagne and food delivery was timed perfectly.Notes: Parking was easy, and corkage was $30 I think. At the time of our visit (mid-November) a vax card was necessary to dine inside.Would definitely come back again!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, because it doubled the number of items we got to try from the menu. Fresh ingredients, creatively composed but with the vibe of elevated essentials.Porcini and umami donut holes were a hit, albacore tuna tostada was spectacular, beef dumpling had incredible flavor, black cod tempura was a personal fave and the little sweet surprises at the end (white chocolate covered honeycomb with pistachio crumble) were a nice touch. I didnt like the chefs tasting. Wish I did a la carte instead but others in my parties wanted to do chef tasting. So we all had to do chefs tasting. I had the strawberry cocktail and it was thick and syrupy. I tend to like my cocktails clean, light, and refreshing. Most of the food was really salty. I also didnt like how you had to share your dishes with your group. They didnt give us serving plates or anything and just assumed we were two couples. We had to keep asking for serving utensils and extra plates for sharing. Feel like if they wanted us to do family style then they should have served it as family style. Not little individual plates where we had to share.

I even asked our server where the chef went to culinary school due to the unique creations of all the dishes. He was a chef in New York at the famous Per Se.The Panna Cotta was out of this world. It was like a pudding consistency and a perfect taste of salted caramel(not too sweet or lack thereof). Again a perfect amount for 2 people. The Apple crumbs on top again complemented the dish. I could’ve eaten the whole dessert by myself. It was a light dish in the sense of a dessert that makes you feel heavy afterwards.I would eat here at least twice a month if I could and everything was a perfect amount of food that didn’t leave us stuffed but perfectly content. One of my favorite restaurants in California — world class food and drinks with a buzzy neighborhood restaurant feel. Every dish is elevated without the feeling of being pretentious and the staff will strike conversation if you engage.Living in the area I see how hard the team has worked in tough and fluid conditions this past year and a half with COVID. The menu changes monthly, and everything Ive tried has been amazing. The bread that they serve is one of the most AMAZING breads Ive ever had, whenever I visit I always take a loaf to go.TLDR: Rich table makes fancy comfort food, and although it is on the pricier side its totally worth it.This is one of those places that sell-out months in advance, so make sure to book early!

Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Really enjoyed the oysters and the sardine chips, but the absolute standout was the burrata (so creamy!) and the duck confit (so tender!). Went to rich table for the first time and loved it!Lets start with the reservation experience - we used resy (which I think you have to) and there was no availability, but we were able to out on alerts for when one comes available.The staff was delightful and very attentive throughout our 2-hour dining experience.The food was incredible! The highlight was the buratta with the gem salad, Brazilian cheese bread and pluots coming in a close 2nd.We were disappointed by the salmon but it was also the last dish served and we were very full. They were kind and took care of this for us. The waitress recommended 5-7 dishes + 2 sides for two people and that was way too much food.Cocktails were phenomenal as well - very potent but delightful flavor and went down smooth.My partner has a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate about 75% of the menu to be gluten free which was nice!

We had Saturday Night Fever after a meal at Rich Table - Wow! One of the best meals we have ever had and cocktails to boot!We were able to get a last minute table using Resy’s notify feature and quickly canceled all other plans given how many friends had recommended it!The cocktails are phenomenal especially the Saturday Night Fever and Shiso Gimlet.We definitely ordered way too much food, but it was so delicious. Must tries from our extravaganza are the Pluot, the Little Gem salad, Burrata, and the Spaghetti. Only negative was the salmon, but still 10-10 meal overall.For the celiacs, although they cannot do the tasting menu gluten free, they can do 75% of the menu including swapping in gluten free pasta.We are dying to go back - thank you Rich Table!

Wow...this place is fantastic...not cheap but the imagination and execution are worth every penny. We had the tasting menu last night with paired wine selections and it was outstanding and, interestingly, despite my wife and I both having the 6-course tasting menu, at times we had completely different dishes. The waiter was happy to avoid the abalone, which neither of us care for, but otherwise we set the chef free to do what he wanted. The first course of the tasting menu was a platter of their different “bites” (including the famous sardine crisps) which were all delicious and was a great way to kick things off...and then we followed up into a variety of fish and meat dishes with a far flung mix of regional influences from South America to Asia and all were mouth watering. The decor is informal and comfortable and the service attentive but not overly in your face. Exactly what we were after last night.

Rich Table just got their Michelin star but luckily we got our reservation in beforehand. We did the Chefs Pick and my Husband got the pairing while I did two cocktails.Dinner was great. The appetizer course was filling on its own but it was only the first of six courses. Most of the food was great, but the porcini donuts, trout, and Parmesan pasta were outstanding in our opinion. Dessert was probably out least favorite course but maybe thats because we were full by then, although the Richa coffee pairing for dessert was a great drink to end the night.We were lucky enough to snag a table by the window so it was nice and intimate. Of the 8 courses and 4 drinks that we tried today, my favorites were the goulash dumplings, caviar with lobster madelines, and the Douglas Fir drink. Believe the hype. This place is legit. The chef’s tasting menu is the way to go, really. One or two dishes won’t give you the full experience of the array of unique flavor profiles the chef is capable of coming up with. It’s worth the splurge, and it’s really quite reasonable to for a Michelin started tasting menu at under $100. I think it was $85 or $90.

I know this is a well established and well known place, so I have to give 3 stars, but I think theyve been resting on their laurels. Im sure they can make things better again. Its been on the list for a few years and I finally coerced my relatives visiting from Orange County to show them how SF goes boujee. Now when you pair caivar with pasta and heavy dose of heavy cream, they were almost about to put a down payment on an home in Pac Heights.Yeah, its that good. Following along with many other Hayes Valley French cafes, they use copious amounts of heavy cream, butter, and rich succulence. If you just made your New Years resolution, hop over a couple of blocks to Little Gem but if you want to live, Rich Table provides. Highlights include tartar, rare ribeye topped dungeness crab bisque over arugula, and anchovies chips. Incredible menu and they change it so often that you probably wont get the same thing twice. I suggest going with the tasting menu. They will pair better than any amateur could. Overrated was the foie gras carrot cake and porcini doughnuts. Try if you must but our party wasnt too impressed. If you live in the city, you know this spot otherwise you dont know food.

I highly recommend only ordering this as a group.My next dish was the Salmon Tataki. Each slice has an interesting corn pudding/cream dollop. There were however too many salt flakes and each bite was really salty.I shouldve ended my meal then but was stupid and got one more dish, the chicken liver toast. This is the worst chicken liver I have had. I thought it was going to be chicken pate, but it was more like mousse. The very liquid chicken liver was way too sour and salty at the same time. The fresh fig doesnt add anything to the liver dish.My neighboring seat companion gave me a try of their Aged Beef Agnolotti and it was also very vinegary. The skin was too thick and hard, the ground aged beef inside just taste like overcooked ground beef.=========== Original June 2018 ===========There are pricy restaurants that just make you go why do these food cost so much, its not that special. The kitchen is open, you can see the dedication and passion served with each dish. I wish I would have taken a picture of my favorite dish which was the DUNGENESS CRAB, RED CURRY, PINK POMELO, SPAGHETTI SQUASH, SMOKED TROUT CRUMBLE. It was magical. The sardine chip on the other hand was lovely. Beef tartare was perfectly seasoned with a very subtle smokey flavor from the egg yolk. The pastas are great - we tried the sea urchin sauce. It reminds of carbonara but with *something else*. The chocolate panna cotta was rich and bitter - a very grown-up flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Tuesday, October 3, 2023 @ approximately 2:30 to 2:45 pm PDT- Walking on the South Side of Oak street heading East across Gough street.I desperately need to get a bike helmet with a video camera on top of it, so I can immediately document this bizarre negative street experiences.There was a Rich Table employee, he was young hispanic man 20s/30s - probably 59 180lbs with mid-length black or brown completely soaking down the sidewalk with extremely sudsey cleaning water.Okay, it is good to keep the sidewalks outside of a restaurant as clean as possible, due to the fact that is where Rich Table stores its garabage, recycling, & compost bins.Yet - what a freaking strange, rude, & bizarre is that this young man saw me struggling up the street with all my groceries with my over-burdened my grocery cart.I will gladly take down this review or adjust it, if Rich Table can produce and supply video documentation evidence, that clearly demonstrates what I have written & post is not the case nor accurate.This incident was awful, disrespectful, and it HAPPENED ON A SF PUBLIC SIDEWALK, which as a citizen of SF, I have the right to walk on UNIMPEDED by someone employed by Rich Table DUMPING SOAPY SUDSEY CLEANING WATER directectly in front of me - less than 1 1/2 ft from my cart. What an act of aggression!Then to add insult onto injury, all the garbage, recycling, & compost containers were completely filling up the entire sidewalk. He left his broom lying on the wall across the REST OF THE SIDEWALK. It was completely blocked.I was not going to be able to pass.When I got up close to him, as he was deiliberately dropping more plastic bucketes of - GOD KNOW WHAT CHEMICALLY-LADEN CLEANING DETERGENT WATER.I assertively asked him to remove the broom from the sidewalk, so I could pass with my cart. All I can write, “If looks could harm,” I would have been walloped or harmed in some manner. I mean this statement most ardently.The Google Maps reviews are averaging 4.7 Stars for Rich Table. Too bad Rich Table does not have the same COMMITMENT TO FOOD & SERVICE EXCELLENCE to its neighbors.I live just 2 ½ blocks away, & I have lived in Hayes Valley for close to 10 years. What a junk business neighbor. I deserve better treatment – PERIOD, whether I choose to eat at Rich Table or just pass by it.“Sure as a shoot,” I will never bring any of my friends, business associates, or family into Rich Table.I had done a massive amount of grocery shopping at Member Warehouse Store. My grocery cart was stuffed to the rafters. It looked like I was about to embark upon a Himalayan Trek.I own a place on Franklin & Market. Unfortunately the building was built without a parking garage. Obtaining a close monthly parking spot is quite expensive in Hayes Valley.Therefore, I have chosen to do SFMTA Permit HV Parking. I often have to park anywhere from 3/5 blocks away from my place. Im glad that we arrived for the first reservation at 5 pm, seated inside. As a noise-sensitive person, it gets really loud in there, but the first 30 minutes or so were still a nice volume. Also, the bathroom drowns everything out well and is quite calming if you need a (noise) break.As someone with back issues, the seats are definitely not friendly for that. Luckily I brought my inflatable waffle seat pillow because I saw everything being wooden in the pictures. The wood also amplifies and reflects the sound. By the end of our meal I was so stuffed of food and sound I couldnt wait to go. Maybe thats a design choice, lolOur first cocktails were the Green Thumb and Peru-ve Me Wrong. Both delicious.The sardine chips are outta this world. I could have ate only those 😂 the horseradish dip was a lil weak for me though. Didnt taste very horseradish-y.The porcini doughnuts are also delicious with a nice raclette, but I wish they also had the option to order how many you want vs. an order of 6. Hes more of a plain steak kind of person, so he ate it without the relleno and enjoyed it.We wanted a dessert, however nothing on the menu appealed to me as I was craving something chocolate-y and none of them were. I love the format and how as you progress through the offering will let you know how much to order. Try one of each with a few apps but save room for drinks and dessert because youre eyes can over order. Things I would order again were the savory donuts, black cod, Dungeness crab (our favorite dish), and clam pasta. But there are also a few menu item misteps in my mind.First the good stuff: incredible values, large portions, attentive and friendly service. The Bites were the best part of our dinner for our group.However, a few of our entree dishes didnt work for our taste buds, especially the Gnocchi Alla Romana. The bitter broccoli rabe on top of the donut-sized gnocchi was dressed with a sour sauce that was not a winner. This was the first time we went out on a weekend outing to the city in quite some time. The restaurant is relatively small, not much space between tables and packed. Pre-covid this would have been standard City dining. The day I went I felt uncomfortable with the amount of people crammed into a place. Could tell it was negroni but didnt taste a hint of persimmon. I am a cocktail guy, so I ordered a different one, dont remember the name. But that wasnt particularly tasty either. Evidently, this place has very high reviews. If you like small, crowded, and loud and not an inspiring cocktail menu, this is your place. If it were me, I would throw out the bar menu and start over. Since its crowded theres a fair amount of time it takes for courses to arrive which is perfect for a great cocktail program. Unfortunately there is nothing about my visit good or bad that would make me go back.

The pasta was a fairly standard mix of flavors and the desert was a dark chocolate and mint combination which reminded me of something you could buy in a supermarket. Waiting staff were fine but certainly below what I would expect to earn a star. All in all it was enjoyable but for the price I expected a bit more.

An interesting meal, in many good ways, and a couple of others. We had the chefs menu (minus seafood), which started out spectacularly well after a 45 minute wait with a great set of bites, but the portions were probably a bit too large, and we found that a few of the dishes were more impressive than enjoyable. What was good was wonderful. Wine pairings were very good; staff (esp. Dana, our waitress) was super friendly. Slightly too loud background music led people at nearby tables to shout, which was distracting, and made it hard to have a conversation.

This has been the highlight of my time in sf so far. Ive been fortunate enough to eat at some incredible places, and this is another absolutely stellar example. The food was thoughtful and delicious. I had the chefs tasting menu and was amazed by how well executed every course was. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and made the night that much more incredible. Wine list and cocktails are on point. When i am back in sf again this will definitely be on the list for a return visit. Rich Table is a go to dining experience in sf. It was a pleasure dining there.

I had a wonderful belated birthday dinner! My girlfriend was trying getting a table here for the past few days but, nothing seemed to work out. My girlfriends favorite plate was the porcine doughnuts. Its because of these tasty little nuggets that she was so adamant about coming here. Our waitress was very nice. Even though they where out of the dessert, she brought out a very delicious chocolate and ice cream surprise. We shared the gnocchi and the duck. I couldnt stop eating. Our plates was completely clean by the end of the meal. I can not thank your waitress enough (although i forget her name... sorry) for everything.

I had dinner with friends tonight at Rich Table in San Francisco. Excellent meal with equally excellent service. It’s not Tapas but we definitely ordered that way ordering multiple dishes from each portion of the menu. Everything was excellent!! The wine list is good if not, perhaps, a little eclectic! Put Rich Table on your A list, hard to get in, but worth it!

This was near the top of my list of restaurants to try after moving back to the Bay Area this year and it didn’t disappoint! Excellent service (we even got seated in the “secret” back booth area that is super private) throughout the meal and I really liked our server - though sadly didn’t catch her name! Food was delicious and very interesting. The doughnut appetizer was great - highly recommend it. I had the soft shell crab lo main and it was superb. One person in our party of four felt that his pasta was a bit over buttery/oily, but I thought mine was just perfect. The bread and butter was also a must try. Only regret is that I was too full and didn’t save room for dessert!

We went there for Valentines Day and it was wonderful. We had the tasting menu and it was well worth the money. We especially enjoyed the sardine chip, the trout and the squash tart. The waitress was really nice and attentive as well. Well come back.

This was a great experience. We had an awesome booth that overlooked the rest of the restaurant. Food was exceptional and drinks were good too. Our server was very friendly and we ended up getting free dessert and a free drink at the end of the meal. One of my favorite restaurants in SF!

I enjoyed the restaurant but unfortunately left disappointed. The service was definitely outstanding -- maximum stars worthy! The food though didnt impress. We tried all the bites and they were hit or miss. For example, the apple bites dish was mediocre and the other bites such as the porcini donuts and PB&J liver were interesting and good but not mind blowing. My steak was also somewhat disappointing as the wasabi vinegrette seemed to overpower the meat. We tried each desert too and while definitely delicious, nothing spectacular about them. I liked the restaurant a lot, but I dont think Id rush back here anytime soon.

Definitely one of the best neighborhood restaurants in town, but it gives me a mixed feeling: food is good but not that outstanding. The cuisine blends a number of genres: Californian bites, Italian pastas, and traditional American main courses. Beware that the main course has super large portion. The atmosphere is rather energetic.

I had a fantastic dinner before a concert at Rich Table and Ive become a huge fan! Among a diverse menu, my favorites were the fresh oysters, an avocado and peach salad meant for the the gods and tasty caviar that touches your soul. These are my favorite things to eat in general and theyve gone above and beyond with taste and flavor to make them their own. Not to mention, their hospitality is phenomenally kind and patient. I look forward to my next visit and I highly recommend you dine at Rich Table.

One of the best meals and best values in SFWe hadnt been back to Rich Table in a while and were happy to find that its only gotten better. Our cocktails were wonderful, interesting, and refreshing. We started with the hush puppies this time instead of the doughnuts (which we had last time and were wonderful). They were great, as was the chicken liver mousse, but the best starter was the grilled avocado with trout roe. The meld of flavors on that was amazing. We added the spaghetti with sweetbreads, one of their only tomato-based pastas, and pierogis, which were both great. The service was perfect, and we left happy.

If I could give this place an 11, I would. One of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure to visit. Everything from service, to ambiance to food execution fires on all cylinders.We sampled most things on the menu and all I can say is, wow. From the halibut tartare, to the sardine chips, to the steak, sole, tagliatelle, pork belly - everything was perfect.Additionally, the service is fine dining quality with neighborhood hospitality. You felt right at home. We talked to our server a bit about where we were from and he eventually brought the Chef out to us. You never needed to look for service, it just happened.I have worked in restaurants for 10 years and eaten at many wonderful establishments - this goes into my top 10. Hands down a must have. Delicious. Cant say enough.

Rich Table is always a feast of flavors and just a lovely experience. It’s a brand new menu every time, but we loved: mushroom donuts, dumplings, tuna tartare, duck confit and steak. And highly highly recommend the milk cocktails!
