2023-11-18 17:15:10When I walked in, a kind gentleman approached me and asked if was my first time. When I told him it was, he asked what I was looking for and explained to me how the menu and ordering system worked. I asked him for a recommendation for a breakfast sandwich, and he suggested a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a blueberry biscuit. I ordered it, and WOW it was AMAZING. It was a PERFECT blend of savory and sweet, and they had my order ready within 7 minutes. The lobby was clean and organized, and other employees were just as kind. Highly recommend going here!!! You won’t regret it, and they definitely have the best breakfast biscuit sandwiches in TO :)

2023-06-19 07:56:57Rise is a breakfast/lunch spot that was recently opened and has been operating for the few months. They pride themselves on flaky, soft biscuits with moist, tender chicken in them. Its a very southern style of dining. With options to change your biscuit to either a regular style or switch it up to a cheddar or blueberry biscuit to up the flavor. Their Cheesy Tots are pretty tasty as well. They also serve donuts too.The ordering sways more towards an honor system type mentality. You pay at the kiosk, pull your beverages, wait for your food and voila! They even have cubbies that house the orders in case youre calling in an order or doing a pick up. The food isnt bad for a quick breakfast option, and the atmosphere is sleek and minimal. It does the job to start the morning off right.

2023-12-07 21:12:59The place was clean and nice looking! The manager on duty was very nice and went out of his way to say hi to me and explain how the menu works as it was my first time in.I got the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit on the blueberry biscuit. Incredible. Ill definitely be coming back for their other menu items!

2023-11-22 16:16:54No way this place is 5 stars. Has anyone ever had fried chicken and biscuits before? This is awful. Gravy is the worst and bland as can be. the sausage was greasy and worse than McDonalds. Donuts taste like the oil hasnt been changed in months. Overall just really bad. But based on the food we have in this town, restaurants dont have to cater to any kind of sophisticated palate. Just meat and taters for the fatties.

2023-10-27 19:55:49These biscuits are so good that I eat two blueberry biscuits every single day of the week lol, I’m not kidding! The light sugary, vanilla glaze over fresh from the oven flaky, moist, delicious blueberry biscuits, how can I not be obsessed??

2022-08-13 19:32:50My first visit, today. I started with the Egg, Bacon and Cheese biscuit sandwich. You get to choose what kind of biscuit, I chose cheddar because, duh! You get to choose American cheese or cheddar and I chose cheddar. You get to choose how the eggs are cooked, I went with fried. Unfortunately, no sweet tea. So, I ordered the Arnold Palmer. The biscuit was tasty overall, but the bacon was not the best. It wasnt burnt, but it was too well done. Still, it was meatier thank Mc Donalds. The biscuit was light and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, just like it should be. Just to be safe, I ordered a glazed blueberry biscuit to go- its essentially a biscuit donut. Im coming back for biscuits and gravy and chicken. Now, its time to get some exercise!UPDATE: I just ate the glazed blueberry biscuit. I warmed it slightly in the microwave. Heaven, I tell you, heaven.

2023-02-16 23:02:05This is my first time at Rise. I ordered the chicken box with a side of gravy, okra and biscuit beignets.I dont normally eat fried southern food so maybe thats why I didnt love the food. The cheddar biscuit was dry (probably because I was the last customer of the day). The fried okra was more salty than expected. The food was very heavy so I only ate half. On another note, awhile back, Rise did bring some blueberry biscuits to a race and I had 2 of those. They were delicious.

2022-07-30 20:39:09Biscuit and chicken are good, pimento cheese is delicious. I prefer crispier fries though, and the seasoning was very unevenly spread. One of the biscuits in our order was missing at first, but they quickly remedied the issue. Also, there are only about 5 small tables outside the place, but no tables inside.

2022-07-31 15:39:27Met the owner at the register who was friendly and helpful as it was my first time.Kept it simple in case I didnt like it and got a cheddar biscuit with runny egg, bacon and cheddar...it was just about like I remembered visiting my grandma in North Carolina minus that southern air. I cant wait to try the chicken.

2023-09-03 22:24:15Delicious food. One chicken box was enough for my two kids and I had a sausage biscuit. Pretty affordable lunch these days. We tried the biscuit beignets and they were excellent.
