Ok first off....the French dip is top tier! That is a must! The shrimp cakes were pretty good but slightly too much filler and not enough actually shrimp. Ordered the Fritto Misto also which was nice, the calamari and artichoke hearts were delicious. My son ordered the French dip and I snuck a bite in 😍....absolutely delicious prime rib French dip sandwich. The Mac and cheese left more to he desired honestly it was pretty flavorless. I ordered the Asiago chicken dinner. The mash bangers were lovely with the French bacon and spinach although the chicken was dry and a bit cold actually. I was overall satisfied with my dinner. Over all a nice spot with some decent beer choices. Would go back again to get my own French Dip for sure.

This is a fun little brewery. Several tap options and a vast food menu. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is very nice! I would add a photo of the menu, but it is only on a QR Code. This is a great spot to have a beer and relax. Several TVs with sports on. It is a friendly atmosphere to have a beer! 🍺

This upscale brewery resides not in a warehouse district, but in a freshened strip mall with several restaurants and such. Enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating and good pub food from their own kitchen which complements their tasty beers. Relax with the quiet and mellow vibe at River City

Tucked in a beautiful building with lots of restaurants.There is lots of parking and sitting inside/out.The staff was super friendly and helpful.Ordered all the veggie items that sounded tasty.The eggplants tower did not disappoint.My friend send his fish n chips were delicious.Dont forget they have fried pickles.Recommend.

This restaurant is hidden from the road behind Walgreens and can easily be missed. I ordered the French dip and the meat was so tender! The fries were hot and crispy and everything was made fresh to order. Their ranch dip is absolutely tasty along with their food. The service is pretty spot on especially for how busy they are. I felt they were pretty attentive and refilled my drink as necessary. I definitely would recommend this place. The food is definitely worth the price paid. They also offer indoor/outdoor seating with a quiet atmosphere indoor.

This place was great. It definitely feels like an upscale brewery but their happy hour prices were good. The beer selection is great (had the Funke Hop Farm Sour Saison and my girlfriend had a tropical ale which were both delicious) and the food was wonderful. We had green beans and bruschetta, though we were really hoping to have the Reuben egg rolls (they ran out I guess right when we got there which seems like poor planning). Well definitely be back here to try more from the menu.

Barstools are a bit uncomfortable but other than that its a very pleasant experience. Salmon chowder I think is most amazing. Pizza is super soggy in the middle, and almost burnt on the edges but everything else is incredible. Wait staff is super busy so they dont really get a chance to chat with anyone but they manage to keep up with orders pretty well. I would give service a 4.5 and atmosphere a 4.5 because people pretty much quietly stare at tvs and dont talk much. You have to take the initiative to strike up a conversation but also I have to gage who I can do that with as I rather not intrude if someone just wants a beer before they go home from work.

River City is a great place for everything from a fun date night, to a big family dinner, to just grabbing a craft beer after work and watching the game. When I am in town from Texas I always come here! Our family members (who live in Carmichael) patron this place frequently and it’s no wonder why, it’s amazing! We had a big party on Friday night & the kids (and frankly the adults too) all loved playing corn hole, giant jenga, and giant connect 4. The wait staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. The bar staff knows the beers and the guest beers profiles front & back. I’ve seen the owners running around River City & you can tell that they truly care about the staff, their customers, the food, & their brews. Their beers are one of a kind & delicious. The food is crazy crave worthy! The soft pretzels 🤤 Asiago crusted chicken 🤤🤤 The shrimp tacos!! This last time I asked the waitress just to “surprise me” and bring me anything, she picked the French Dip & oh I am glad she did! The bread was light and fluffy and the onion rings are seriously addiction inducing. Whatever the folks at River City are breading those onion rings in 😍 The sandwich itself was pilled high with meat & the au ju is incredible. Paired very well with my stout beer. Only critique is... they need a Dallas Texas location.Side notes: dog friendly patio, great happy hour deals, very fair prices, they do have a full bar, & the bathrooms are always spotless

Everytime I come here, I get annoyed. The only reason we keep coming, which is far and few in between, is because theres no other competition for this restaurant in this area thats close by in Carmichael. The service is terrible and thats because they have a younger staff serving. The GM, or ownee, not sure which one she is, but shes always sitting at the bar eating and drinking. This last time, we saw a pizza get delivered INSIDE the restaurant, the same lady inspected the pizza, a gentleman brought it back to the kitchen and not 5 minutes later, they brought a pizza out on one of their plates. Looks terrible for the business. I wish something else would open up in Carmichael.

This is my favorite brewery in the Carmichael area. The blood orange is my favorite beer. They carry beers from local breweries as well. If you enjoy French dip sandwiches, I am a French dip connoisseur, they have one of the best. This is a great date spot. You have a beer or two, then walk to a lounging area that separates the two buildings. Theres lots of comfy seating, fireplace and mini waterfall. Its romantic spot, if the date is going well. Always a great place for happy hour small plates but they certainly step up to plate for a consistantly good late lunch or dinner. Burgers are good for the price. The service used to be much better and the beers are so so at best. The extra pale used to be much better, the rest arent on par with anything decent. Today the service was especially bad, same as last time we went about a month ago. We tipped 50% to finally get out of there with cash, instead of being ignored any longer. Probably not going back.

This is a welcoming place especially for retired seniors who are able to have a “happy hour” on a sweltering hot summer day! Wholesome meals are cheerfully provided. Each meal is prepared on site using fresh farm to fork ingredients, countering the “corporate franchises” in so many communities. Everyone there are good natured with a sense of humor, their craft beer is awesome, and their food is really good! Every community should have a local brewery like this.

The food and beer are very good. However they have posted hours online and on the door that they change whenever they feel like it.Their hours on Sunday are posted as 8pm and we showed up at 7:35. They said they were closed. I pointed out the door posting, and they curtly stated that online the hours were posted as 7:30… that’s just not true.So I’ll not be returning anytime soon. The manager type should have been at least conciliatory instead of defensive and incorrect.

Love the Milagro Centra! Ive been to the RC Brewery about 5 times now. Menu has a wide variety of options with photos so thats pretty unique and cool. Enjoyed most everything especially the beer. We had a good experience at RCBC. My bf and I ordered the Bavarian pretzels and Brussels sprouts. The pretzels were good, the sprouts were a little cold. For main entrees, my bf got the full rack of ribs and I got the garlic crusted chicken. Both were delicious. Our waitress was kind and attentive.

They were disgusting. Saturated in oil and no flavor. The batter was horrible. I didn’t even eat them. My steak sandwich was good. At least there was a positive outcome there. Not my first choice to dine at.

I like the pale ale. But the cap city ipa is really bad. The blood orange is better but still not a good ipa. The service is hit or miss and so is the food. Sometimes you get a great meal sometimes you get something that tastes like leftovers from your fridge. Its really odd. I have had four star experiences here but mostly its a three. The chef has real potential but the quality of the ingredients is lacking. For instance the french dip is good but the rolls is terrible and the meat is the not sliced properly. I want to love it but something is always slightly off. The prices are already high for the quality of the food and beer. I think someday it could be great. I keep coming back in hope that it will live up to its potential.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday. We requested outdoor seating. It wasnt too loud and the atmosphere was so friendly and inviting. My husband and I shared the flight of their personally brewed beers and enjoyed them all! Our server was very good and the co-owner came to the table to ensure that we were fully satisfied with our visit. The prices were reasonable for a local, sit down joint and we enjoyed our entrees. The kids menu made our daughter happy as well! :)

Came a few days ago at happy hr, and had a really wonderful experience. The food was good, but what really wowed me was the service. We sat outside alone with our dog and were checked on numerous times by multiple employees. This place is a 50/50 chance of being served by someone with a pleasant attitude or an extremely rude attitude. Unfortunately both times I have visited River City Brewing Company I have received just the absolute worst service and rude attitude from the female server. No matter how nice and polite I was, and I really over sold the kindness, her attitude never got any better. I dont know about everyone else,but when I visit an establishment I do for polite helpful service, an inviting nice atmosphere, and so I dont have to cook myself. To receive poor negative treatment from a server on multiple occasions doesnt help the chances of me returning, especially for mediocre flavor that isnt cooked as ordered. And forget about asking the server to correct it. That was a whole other attitude that Im not even willing to put up with. All in all I was very disappointed with the experience.

Great beer and good food!! Went with a friend who likes IPAs and me who likes sours and dark beer and there were plenty of choices for both of our tastes. The food was also good, nice selection of appetizers and other American fare. The soup of the day (potato bacon) was watery and not amazing but everything else was (chili, Brussel sprouts, crab cakes and wings) and our waiter removed the soup from the bill. Waiter was friendly and efficient with a good sense of humor. Will definitely return next time we are in the area!

Great service with a very polite staff. I tried all but the ipas on tap and the only one I wasnt a fan of was the red ale. It was a little too hoppy for me. The stout was my favorite. We had a little food during happy hour and tried the fried ravioli which my girlfriend and I both found to be very bland and didnt contain very much inside. The rest of the menu looked very appetizing but I think Ill pass and just drink next time.

Bonny was our server, she was great. The whole staff goes out of there way to make everything is the way you want. The kitchen will modify any food item to you liking within reason. The bartenders spend as much time to socialize with you at the bar. The owners are always there. Dont think they have a life outside the restaurant/bar. Cant wait till the are brewing again! SOON!

We got to RCBC at 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon. It wasnt busy and we opted to sit outside when there were only 4 tables seated when we got there. Our server didnt even come over to my wife and I until 3:55 and we didnt get our beers until 4:23pm! The beer was good but the service from our waiter was slow!We had long finished our pint size beers and we had to flag our waiter to ask for the check at 4:45pm. Seven minutes later our waiter came back and asked if we wanted another beer... ugh! We asked for the check like ten minutes ago! At 4:55 our waiter finally came back with the check and... it was wrong. We had two pint beers at the happy hour price of $4.00 a pint. Should have been $8 plus tax! The beer was charged at the regular price and he added on an order of the Happy Hour egg rolls. Seriously!!! It takes a lot to get me frustrated but at this point Im getting mad. It has now taken us an 1hr and a 1/2+ for two beers!The waiter took the check back to have it corrected and what do you know, it took him a while to get it fixed. The hostess asked if we needed anything else at 5:03 and we expressed in a firm voice that we would like our check so we could go! At about 5 minutes after 5pm our savior Beth, a manager, finally arrived and asked how we were. She had just come to work. We told her that we had been there since 3:30pm and all we had were two beers and just trying to go. Beth was awesome and took care of us right away. Thank you so much Beth for the wonderful customer service! I am giving this review 4 stars just because of her attitude and willingness to help! While our server made this a bad experience we dont let one server ruin a business for us. I tried a weekday lunch in July 2016 and was looking forward to RCBC reopening in Carmichael. The drinks were very good, bartender was friendly, and place looked cool; these were the pluses. Ordered buffalo wings and fish and chips. The look and texture of the wings skins were rubbery and pale not crispy nor flavored in much sauce. The sauce was watery thin and barely any of it could hold onto the wings. I couldnt eat the exterior and basically forced eating through the interior although it wasnt really tasty. The fish and chips were barely editable. The crust looked good but one bite and the fish itself tasted mushy; I couldnt eat any more. The fries came out stale looking and tasted like theyd been sitting under a heat lamp. Sorry but this is a true experience. Ill give it that this may have been an off-day for the kitchen but if theyd just looked at the fries and wings and have test tasted the fish before opening, Id think theyd know better. The place was less than a third full and yet there were at least six wait staff and a maitre d. Most of the wait staff were standing next to the bar horse playing in between infrequent services. There was an older woman who appeared to be an owner helping out but she didnt seem in control of her staff and the place started feeling more like a high school hangout rather than a Milagro restaurant as there became less to do. I do hope RCB succeeds but I suggest having your staff reserve their discussions and play (which is fine) to somewhere not in ear shot of your guests and to test tasting the food before beginning service and please change your buffalo wings recipe. (A description of the beers on the menu would be nice) Order food, food comes out and missing one piece of fish on one meal, ok no worries manager stated one is cooking and will be out soon. NO, we just waited for over 25 minutes to get you to come over to fix this take this off my bill and bring me the bill so I can leave.I can over hear manger say I have two unhappy customers over there, while the break chick states well I didn’t know. Food took to long to show up, waiting around 45 minutes for the food to show up.3. Their are a small selection of foods and alcohol to choose from.(The cons will be removed in time as the restaurant is renovated and more staff is hired. These are just short term until the restaurant is renovated.)My verdict of the restaurant is 4 out of 5 because it is amazing overall, this restaurant has impeccable service and food. Only minusing a star because of the small list of cons listed above. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a night out or with family. This restaurant is now one of my favorites.

Beer was about the same as any other decent microbrewery, nothing to write home about. A decent stop if you dont want to get down to the waterfront and hit the movie theater, thats about it.

Met some friends there for a drink for a birthday and the server was friendly but the time it took to get my drink was a lil longer than i had anticipated. My friends were all waiting on me to finish by the end because i got mine later

Food was good. The brewery is just coming back online, will have to wait a few weeks to see how they are.
